@diane32 Dear sister, it takes courage to speak in the midst of your grief as you have. I am so sorry :(for your pain. Yet it blesses my heart that you choose to walk by faith, not sight. I commend you for not giving in to the negative (thoughts and feelings that I do understand.)

I am touched and inspired by the beautiful simplicity here. You rightly state that the blame belongs with sinful humans not our loving God. Sadly, the tragic things in this life can't be done away with as long as humans have free will. (God didn't want us to be robots.) The beauty of being able to choose brings with it the ugliness of some choosing evil.

You reminded us that God showed His love in the most wonderful way by sending His only begotten Son to give us a way out of this madness. Our hope is in Him.

But yes, it is heartbreaking when our loved ones who are unsaved seem trapped in darkness. It helps me to take comfort in the thought that God wants them saved even more than we do. 1 Timothy 2:4 says, "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

Hugs :emot-hug:and prayers for you at this difficult time of loss. And thanks again for this honest post.

You truly are a blessing turtletwo. I am blessed to call you my sister in the Lord ? I can tell you have been through and came through a lot by the grace of God, and I can tell this because of your understanding, compassionate heart for others. It's not easy to be so understanding but it comes naturally to you because of your own experiences in life and what God has done in you and for you...thank you so so much ???

Diane, I’ll probably not win many friends with what I’m about to say but I don’t believe those sinners who never repented (even after the Millennium) will be tormented in hell forever.  Our Father is a merciful God.  Do you really believe He would do that?  No, those who don’t make it will be blotted out—cease to exist, as if they never existed.  ….and not even a memory of them will exist.  Be encouraged.

Psalm 69:27-28 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 Add iniquity to their iniquity,
And let them not come into Your righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living,
And not be written with the righteous.

Revelation 3:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

I would love to think hell isn't for eternity but I truly believe it is...but I appreciate your encouragement Sonshine ☺ thank you sis ?

Consider the lyrics to this song.

                                                                                                                  "Blessings"

                                                                                                                 Laura Story

We pray for blessings, we pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
And all the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear
We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love
As if every promise from Your word is not enough
And all the while, You hear each desperate plea
And long that we'd have faith to believe

'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win
We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not
This is not our home
It's not our home

'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
What if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are Your mercies in disguise

You have no idea how much I needed to see these words tonight thank you ?

I believe it is necessary that good and evil remain to complete God's plan in the Bible and then evil will be destroyed.  I can't think of anything else that fits.  Only God knows for sure.

There is a negative part to God’s Plan and God uses Satan to fulfill it......When God gets done using him , he will be thrown into the Lake of Fire to be tormented forever..

I've never liked, or agreed with such a theory.  I do believe that God gave the same freedom of choice to the angels He created, just like He did man, while, at the same time, able to know the end from the beginning.  There is no negative part of God period.  Choices were made and God was able to use the bad choices to create good choices and outcomes.

Why do bad things happen?   All things were created good.  Then satan became proud and rebelled, desiring to overthrow God.  That was a joke--we have an all powerful God.  However, he did succeed in taking 1/3 of the angels with him and they were cast out of heaven.  Here on earth satan did succeed in deceiving Eve and spreading his rebellion against God to mankind.  That placed mankind in his domain.  We are now captive to satan and sin and all mankind is predisposed to sinning.  The only way out is to receive Jesus as the Messiah sent to rescue mankind by becoming one of us to die for the sin of the world, thus becoming the propitiation, the appeasing sacrifice for our sin.  He made it possible for us to be reconciled to God by His own blood.  He took our evil upon Himself and in return gave us His righteousness.  We can only receive this by faith as God enlightens us.

So all mankind is heading for hell under satan's rule unless they accept God's way out, by the shed blood of Jesus Christ for our sin.  He alone can rescue us.  Meanwhile the rest of mankind goes on in rebellion and sin, hating and spreading chaos.  Even nature is corrupted by our negligence and selfishness.   Wickedness is the way of the world, and that is why bad things happen.  God did do something about it, by the way. He sent Jesus to rescue whomever will come to Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
