I was one for years before I stepped down.  Still, the truth is the truth.  Do you feel you should have the right to break the TOS for your pleasure or others?  This place would be a nightmare with that idea.

How many people in your life have "no conscience"

 Everybody has a conscience.

Quote;
"Conscience is a God-given capacity for human beings to exercise self-evaluation"
"Paul says the Gentiles have consciences that bear witness to the presence of the law of God written on their hearts"
"The conscience is a servant of the individual’s value system. An immature or weak value system produces a weak conscience"

A conscience can be  “seared” or rendered insensitive as though it had been cauterized with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:1-2). Such a conscience is hardened and calloused, no longer feeling anything. A person with a seared conscience no longer listens to its promptings, and he can sin with abandon, delude himself into thinking all is well with his soul, and treat others insensitively and without compassion."

God is Light.

I have known one 5th grade kid who honestly didn't know right from wrong and assaulted his best friend with a

tie quan do kick to the head flying across the top of school bus seats.  I kicked him off the bus.

When I saw the title and reading through the 2 pages of comments being shared, I can't help but went to search for the definition of the word "conscience" to see what it exactly meant. Therefore, looking at the dictionary, I found the meaning of conscience is having a moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as acting as a guide to one's behaviour.

I am a very simple person who likes clear ideas and thoughts. Just like Jesus when He was on earth, His speech, actions and behaviour are very simple and precise for anyone to hear and follow. I feel that most people may know what moral sense means, but in actuality, it may not be practiced. Since the fall of Adam and Eve, the world has been so heavily corrupted that many people have lost themselves, their body, mind and soul to the Satan. For those who are found by the Lord, thank God, we are saved by His blood and the Holy Spirit begins to work inside us. With His blessings, we are able to bless those around us. While living in this mortal body, the sin of the flesh is tempted with lusts and desires. That's why the devil is constantly seeking whom he may devour. For the people of the world, he has no problem with them, but for God's people, he needs to work extra hard.

As to the question of the OP, there are so many people we encounter, directly or indirectly, that we may not agree with (sometimes) - what they say or do - but truly, we should also search our own hearts, are we any better than them? I was reading the story of the woman who committed adultery, when she was brought to Jesus, I was thinking, "Where is the man? How did she have a (sexual/intimate/adulterous) relationship without another, in which her case was a man?"

When I look at conscience, I think we can also pair it with hypocrisy which can be further rooted down to self-righteousness. As the story above, Jesus said to the woman, "Neither do I condemn you, go, and sin no more." There was no word of repute, no condemnation, but just a word of forgiveness, and then a clear instruction on how she should lead her life.

Isn't Jesus so cool? :) (How wonderful is our Lord!) If Jesus can forgive us who are full of sins, why can't we forgive our brethren, who are also like us, full of sins? So, let's not condemn (and judge) our brothers and sisters in-Christ. We can help to pull them out of the pit if they fall.  As the Lord tells us, "Love one another, as I have loved you."

In reality, it is true that there are a lot immorality that we see and even encounter - like the seven deadly sins that many people are familiar with - we should depend on the Lord to guide us so that we will not be led astray. The Bible may not specifically describe each set of the seven sins, but it teaches us that such sins are the works of the flesh and those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). Therefore, we need to pray for those who have fallen, regardless who they are - a family member, a friend, a church minister, or even our nation's leader - for their salvation.

Blessings to all! :amen:

Thanks for your support......it’s a fine line , I suppose,  but I think I crossed the line a little and violated the TOS thingy.....that is why I apologized and I ask for forgiveness ......some people do not ever see the need for forgiveness and they never apologise for anything...why ask for forgiveness when you have never done anything wrong ? Now if somebody out there thinks I am referring to You-Know-Who—- why, shame on you!

I didn't remind you so I could quiet your beliefs.  I know many would would cheer at your words, and others who would balk at them.  Everyone has the right to have an opinion.

As for agreeing to the terms to be here, that does not men the terms are correct, it just means it is the rules enforced, and seeing as the place alines itself with the word of God, it will then be subject to revelation, as and when the Lord decides. The internet and forums are not the Lord, the word is, and is Spirit and life, everything in this life is to be respected, but not believed or trusted.

The ones in authority are the ones furthurest away from God, who wants us converted as little children. The rich do not do justice, they do injustice, all this is taught, and those in authority can be told it, but would hardly want to know. To have respect is to know Gods will but be prepared to tell them to their face what they are, in case you share what they needed for their soul to not be condemned.

Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

James 2:Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

Acts 24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

I am just curious how many people in your life have no conscience, or you suspect that to be the case. The reason i ask is that i would like to know how common (or not ) this is.

I am counting up the people I have known throughout my life.. I am going to say, for now, 2 and a possible.

we have all known people who do not seem to care in the least how they hurt others.. so we suspect they have no conscience

A more interesting question to me is: How many of our pastors listen to their consciences? Read Leviticus 18:22 and then tell me how many pastors, well aware of what it says, simply ignore it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
