The only thing that bothers me is the graven image.  However, I have an icon that my mother in law brought to me from Greece.  It is of Mary and the infant Jesus.  I keep it as a gift from her and don't bow down to it or pray to it.  So I do believe it is OK to posses such a thing without misusing it.  I keep a photo of my late husband on the wall as well.  It was takin on our 50th anniversary and reminds me of good times we had.  I don't pray to it either.  Yet I wouldn't want to stumble someone who had been in habit of praying to images.

Why does the Catholic cross still have Jesus on it? Isn't He risen?

Perhaps a reminder of what he did for us.

Icons are an aid to prayer and meditation and worship. They are not the aim or object of worship.

I always thought that the symbol for Christianity should be an empty tomb.....in the vast world of Catholic errors, their crucifix is small potatoes......

And yet,  by itself, in their system, "small potatoes" is a great abomination,  death dealing hypocrisy and false doctrines along with it.

Sometimes I wonder if Charles Stanley is on their television as they are getting prettied up for mass....it’s harder and harder for Catholics to hide their damnable doctrines in this televised and wired age....there is much solid Biblical teaching out there, and it actually would be hard to not see it...
