However, I have an icon that my mother in law brought to me from Greece. It is of Mary and the infant Jesus. I keep it as a gift from her and don't bow down to it or pray to it. So I do believe it is OK to posses such a thing without misusing it. I keep a photo of my late husband on the wall as well. It was takin on our 50th anniversary and reminds me of good times we had. Sometimes I wonder if Charles Stanley is on their television as they are getting prettied up for mass....it’s harder and harder for Catholics to hide their damnable doctrines in this televised and wired age....there is much solid Biblical teaching out there, and it actually would be hard to not see it...
