The 70th week began right after the 69th week.  The Messiah was cut off after the 69th (7th + 62nd) week (Daniel 9:26).  Since atonement for iniquity is accomplished during the 70 weeks prophecy (Daniel 9:24), His death had to take place during the 70th week or the time frame of 70 weeks is meaningless (Daniel 9:24).  The middle of the 70th week was when He became the perfect sacrifice for sin, putting an end to the need for OT sin sacrifices (Daniel 9:27).

There's a reason that the only time durations mentioned concerning the end times revolve around 3.5 years.

Hi RW,

The Beginning, (Dan. 9: 27) the Middle, (Dan. 9: 27 & Rev. 11: 2, 3, Rev. 13: 5).

If you mean the 70th week of Daniel, it was already fulfilled by Jesus. A 7 year tribulation? No such thing, it is approx. 3.5 yrs long. The ministry of the 2 witnesses and the anti-Christ are nearly concurrent. The latter begins a short time after the former, but each one lasts about the same amount of time separately.

Daniel 12:11-12 gives us the 70th Week of Daniel from slightly before the mid way point to the end (verse 11)

and from the beginning to slightly past the middle.  From this we can figure the date when the 7 year period begins

once the Temple sacrifice is abated.

For the beginning - right after Gog/Magog, in Ezekiel 39.    And the confirmation of the covenant in Daniel 9:27.

For the middle - the end of the 1260 days of Revelation 11, Revelation 12.

There are two paths to the 7 years in Revelation.

(Revelation 11 path) 1260 days (the first half) + 3 1/2 days + 42 months (1256.5 days) = the 7 years

(Revelation 12 path) 1260 days (the first half) + undisclosed war in heaven* time + the time, times, half time

* the second heaven, the cosmos.

= the 7 years.

Are we wondering about the beginning of the 7 years in relation to the 4th of July 2020? Or what event kicks off the last 7 years? Are we asking if there is a 7 year period?

It may be that I have just learned this and it's not something I personally reasoned out but I have always thought there is a 7 year period and it begins with someone standing behind and adding authority to an existing agreement concerning Israel, per Daniel 9:26:27.

There is also Matt 24. There we have the A of D where Daniel makes clear there follows a period of 1335 days. But there are also the events preceding the A of D Jesus told us about in Matt 24.

In my studies it seems the last 7 years begins with a covenant and the events and conditions of Matt 24:4-11 are part of that period of 3.5 years before the A of D.

What if the graph is wrong. What if the 70 years so many affirm is over already. Can you find a verse that includes a "7" with the word "tribulation"?

How can we take a fresh look at all this and forget seminaries, Le Haye and the pop eschatology; Darby and many other thousands of theologies are built on very questionable basis.

Not one of the 'eschaton' systems is without flaws and often cheats by taking parts of verses and stapling them to others out of context..

The scenario I envision (once again) at this point is that fighting will break out between Israel and "Palestinians" and will rapidly escalate by jihadists/armies  from around the region to the point Israel's existence is threatened. Israel, especially in such a case could resort to tactical nuclear weapons.

The world community would then step in and force the formation of a new Palestinian nation, thereby dividing the land. The "peacekeepers" between the two enemies would end up right through the midst of Jerusalem. This would bring us to Rev. 11:2, beginning the ministry of the two witnesses. (1260 days).  A few months after that, would be the installation of the "beast", beginning his reign (for 42 months).

It may be worth watching the situation coming up in early to mid May. Israelis, with at least one of Trump's associates (Kushner?) are presently mapping out territory they plan to declare sovereignty over (annex). I cannot see the Palestinians sitting by and just shrugging their shoulders as they are reduced to living on what is essentially a reservation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
