Ive been reading how people who get saved feel an instant change or their desire for sin is diminished.

Also they grow and change ... Meanwhile its always stop and go with me. Something or someone enters my life and it shakes things up or My silent/one sided relationship with God gets too painfully quiet to continue and I just stop.

Idk I never experienced those chsnges others talked about. Maybe Im a "normal" christian or not one at all.

I goy baptized and filled with his spirit( well my brother who was a minister helped me) so idk if I need the Holy Spirit or if I still have it.

Idk what to do.

I feel like having a pastor or someone fill my with Gods spirit. That way maybe i wont struggle so much.

Idk

When someone is born again, he is given a new heart/spirit and the Holy Spirit to indwell him.  He has been transferred from the kingdom of darkness, to the kingdom of God's beloved Son.  He was once darkness within and is now full of light.  He now hates the sin he once loved and is sorry when he does sin (which is far less frequently than before he was saved).  He now loves the Lord and wants to please him, to pray and read his word.  He now loves his brothers and sisters in Christ, wants to meet with them and prays for them.  He looks away from himself, to Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith; and trusts in his shed blood and broken body, on the cross, to have taken away his guilt.

I'd like to recommend you to read "The Normal Christian Life", by Watchman Nee.

:) well praise God if being saved aka salvation by believing in Jesus Christ came down to a "feeling" I'd guess most are not saved. This :) walk this road is not easy and its not based on one moment in time. What HE started in you HE will finish. Don't run by feelings. Feelings are up and down all over the place. Walk by Faith. KNOW He loves you KNOW you are His and He is in you. NOT BY HOW YOU FEEL! FAITH! If you know you did something wrong just repent and keep going. TALK TO HIM! Just talk. Read that bible.. ask Him to open your eyes before your read.

Speak His word..you have fear .. God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. Sad.. the joy of lord is my strength. No peace.. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. On and on and on.

Faith comes by hearing.. hearing by the word of God. No matter what you see hear feel always keep your eyes on Him. Always in His word. Again no matter how you feel you ARE strong in the lord in the power of HIS might. You put on HIS armor.. you have HIS peace.. you have HIS joy on and on. And He loves you no when you good but always no matter what and HES NEVER left you. Doubt comes from the enemy. The enemy is lying to you. Resist him and he has to leave in JESUS name

Paul tells us to pray constantly (1 Thess 5:17). As time goes on, you will get to know the Lord better and better, if you do this.

How to know you are saved:,

“9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)

If you have confesses with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in Him in your heart you are saved.

You keep wanting to sin because of what The Apostle Paul said:

“15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good.
17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.
19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.
20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,
23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.” (Romans 7:15-25)

As others have said, don't go by your feelings.   Go by your faith in the Lord.    Look to Jesus, your Savior, and what He has done for you....not your feelings.    We are called to have faith in the Lord....not faith in feelings.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
