You could be right. For sure the smart phone is a platform for which an even darker intent will manifest some day.

I believe that Revelation 6:7-8 is the time period of the beast and false prophet.

Then the saints cry out for the day of the Lord; 6:9-11.
then the day of the Lord happens; 6:12-17.

Revelation 6 is describing 4 periods of time, the 4 horses represent time periods.

And the rest of the book of Revelation repeats the same story using different visions
and each giving different details of the one same repeated story.

Christ died, rose from the dead,
and ascended up to heaven to sit at the right hand of God,
and took the book that was in the right hand of God. 
Revelation chapter 5.

So the opening of the first seal happened 2000 years ago.

The white horse period of time was from the death and resurrection of Christ
to around the end of the Napoleon era, the conquest and formation
of the world major nations as we have them now.

Hitler was the clear climax of the red horse period of time.

We are inside of the black horse period of time now.

Next is the anti-Christ period of time.

The mark  is actually some kind of a chip or tattoo on the body and it will cause sores ,it could be blood poisoning from the die they use or something..

In theory alone, if the Mark were an inserted chip (RFID) into the Right Hand or Forehead {nowhere else on the body is listed}, that chip would be designed with an extremely small Uranium Battery.

 

Now, if the RFID chip malfunctions due to the Uranium Battery, the very small amounts of seepage from the battery would leave a distinct Mark like a rash/burn/scar/tattoo/general Mark that is the same for all humans whose RFID battery malfunctions would leave on said body.

 

In other words, if everyone had RFID Chip and the Uranium Battery explodes, everyone would have Same Looking rash/mark/tattoo/burn on their Right Hand or Forehead as a result.
