I just got this crazy Idea...

What if we look at the bigger picture? What if we vote for the causes that we care about and the values that we believe in, principles that we stands for rather than voting for favorite candidates, especially if both options are unflattering.  Voting for policies and not the person.

I What I have read are posts deriding Harris for her "inappropriate"laugh, her open mouth smile, etc. That is the kind of politics Trump uses too.

Trump turned and bit his own Vice President of the USA Jan 6  2021. He will turn and bite like a snake. That is what he  does. But I voted for him because I don't like the laugh  nor the open mouth smile of candidate Harris. Oh my, four years of her smile, Nooo!

Hey,  it will all be over soon and perhaps a refocusing upon  our Lord and savior Jesus will be at hand.

Anyway, just stopping by, and I noticed this thread. 

I find it sad that people don't really understand what's at stake with this election, and being uptight about insults.... Well, when you've been stabbed in the back by a smooth talking deceiver, someone who's brash but you know what you are getting doesn't seem so bad.

In any event, I thought I'd share a bit of perspective.

Something to consider, "As goes the Church, so goes a nation."
If a nation, any nation, had it's churches for the better part "honoring God" and actually "living the life" God desires for ALL Christians, we would have a better nation, and better people to vote for.

I continue to see quite number of Churches that have been departing from the faith for a few decades now.

As an example some months ago a Church that was "fairly solid" not far from here, has now departed from the faith, and they have "voted in" the sinful LGBT lifestyles as acceptable by God. Shortly thereafter, they voted one could be a Sodomite and preach... (We get that word from the city of "Sodom" and Gomorrah, that God destroyed with fire. Gen 19:24)
Praise God the LGBT can repent, believe, and be set free, and than is the Gospel I preach, and any other Christian worth his salt "should" always do the same.  But God will NEVER "endorse these" or any other sins! 

Add to the above all of the "doubt" being placed upon God's Word by many in positions of authority, all of the sins of Psychology, (the Church did not have it for 1900 years, and we don't need it now! As it looks to keep "self" very much ALIVE even in it's "Christian" forms, when God calls us to see ourselves symbolically "dead!" Rom 12:1-5; Matt 10:38) Word of Faith, (We are small gods) New Apostolic Reformation,(We are small gods, and have churches with so called glory clouds, and heavenly gold dust that falls out of nowhere) and Mysticism that has jumped into Churches in it's various forms, (New Age, clear your mind and go into a self hypnotic state to meet jesus. Also called Spiritual Formation, The Silence, Centering Prayer, et al) and we have a powder-keg ready to blow without REPENTANCE before Almighty God!

In Revelation, chapters 2 and 3, FIVE of the SEVEN Churches were called to repent. Many of their same sins are a call for repentance in this generation of Churches.
With this being said, PRAISE GOD for the few churches that are standing for Truth, based on God's unchanging Word.

Examine ourselves, are we in the faith? (2 Cor 13:5) What were those 7 commended for? Can we be commended by God for the same? What were they rebuked for, and called to repent of? Do we need to repent of any of those things?

On the Presidential side of things, as we have been doing for years, will pray for whomever gets in the nations highest position of office, and all under them.
Please, as Brothers and Sisters in Christ, do the same.

The LGBT promotion of our culture is one of the reasons I believe Christians should cast their vote for Trump. He may not condemn such as sin, but he's the only one who is against the such being promoted and shoved down or throats. If the D candidate wins this election, one can guarantee Judeo-Christian morality will be turned into criminal offenses that *will* be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and this includes our value to protect children from sexual promotion.

I think Trump will win. He is just too powerful. Many do not want to vote for a woman for President.

Do we vote a person into office, or does God put/ allow a person to get into office?

In the end, the person in that position is the one, that for whatever reason, God has allowed to be in office.

God has a precedent for giving those against Him what they want. It’s part of that free will package. We then live with those decisions in a nation that calls evil good and good evil. We as believers can still live in a nation like that under God’s will. I wonder if the Jews prayed for Jezebel?  We are to love and pray for our enemies. 
I hope we can repent and that God will pull us out of this mess which didn’t start yesterday, but has been ongoing for awhile. In 2012 the Democratic Party did not want the Jewish state recognized. Many of them are anti Jewish. I have heard half of them or more.

Anyone who even takes a cursory look at open borders will see the internal destruction this will cause. Lots of towns across America already see it. They are not shy about telling you what they are trying to do. They think they can rearrange the population with illegals. The outcome will diminish America. Already is. Not to mention all the other LGBTQ nonsense and secret sex changes of our children. 
When you have a separate human being living in a woman, it’s in her body and she is deciding the life of another. The irony- To say government should not be involved in deciding what a woman does with her body, and then fund planned parenthood pushing abortion as the only best alternative for women in this situation.

This is pivotal. God is always in control, but remember He won’t stop you from hanging yourself.

I understand Trump is far from likable. But for goodness sake, we don’t vote for presidents based on their personality do we? I don’t.
