LOL, i won't dare share this new-found information with my husband, because he'd just look at me and say "ya gotta be 10% smarter than what you're working with..." and then i would have to remind him that he's just as dumb because he didn't know either!

Well this makes me dumber then, when grilling, I never get the chance to pull on the foil. When I reach in the cabinet and grab the box...the roll of foil falls out. I usually get angry and throw it all back into the cabinet (out of box)....gets me in trouble with the wife.

Now I can tell her about the tabs.....I'm sure she will say, "why you didn't know about that?"

I didn't know about it Neb - and I'm older than dirt! But I jsut checked, and YES(!) There's tabs!

I am older dirt, older than Traveller and I did not know about the tabs until about a week ago.

I received the same e-mail, and sure enough, I checked. I usually use Glad Cling Wrap, and sure enough, the tabs are there on both ends.

As far as aluminum foil, I have the cheapest there is from Dollar Tree and yep, there are little pulls on both ends.

My question is, how many years have these things been there, that no one ever knew? lol

i didnt know it untill a good while ago, decided to read the directions after years of using it with out reading directions....

directions are great... just like the ones that we have in the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.....

I CAN'T BELIEVE... I didn't know this!

I've been using aluminum foil for more years than I care to remember. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know, like when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.

Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said,

Im with sheya. I thought you meant firefox tabs too lol.

I knew about these tabs, but I cant get them to work right lol. I still end up yanking the roll out of the box or worse completely messing up my roll of saran wrap. Technology is good as long as you are smart enough to figure out how to use it I guess lol.
