  2. On another thread, a few people seemed interested in talking again about the Partial Rapture Theory. (I say again, because we did a thread on this about 1.5 years ago that got to over 90 pages before George closed it!) Here's a few of the comments I thought to bring over from that other (current) thread: Below posted by me (as a response to @AnOrangeCat on that other current thread: We had quite the thread going on this over a year ago (actually may have been a couple threads) - I can see if I find them if you'd like. But the basics are this: many argue incessantly for either pre or post trib rapture, and some also for mid trib. I subscribe to the notion that there are some merits for all these in scripture, therefore multiple, partial raptures. There have been God's people who have been caught away at various points, so I don't understand why Christians insist on dogmatically staking claim to just one rapture at the end. To me, we are all saved equally, and He puts His Spirit of life into us to make us children. Therefore we are all on equal footing in that regards - saved by grace period. But then there is the matter of how we grow and what we do with this grace and life we've been given. The Bema Seat judgement will address this and differentiate between God's children. So why should the rapture idea be any different, that is, ones taken up according to how well they have allowed the seed of life in them to grow? Much more could be said, but after some digging I found this thread I started in December 2022. (FYI - there were over 90 pages to this thread and it was closed by George, but if you read a few of the beginning pages I think you'll get the idea.) Below posted by me responding to @Dennis1209 on that other current thread: I don't know much about what the anti-Nicene church fathers held regarding the rapture(s) . . . and I would defer to @AdHoc regarding any teachings from back then about multiple/partial reapings. And even if no church father source for the idea comes from that period, I would maintain that this, in and of itself, certainly does not negate the idea. I do agree that much of the partial rapture teaching did get promulgated by 19th century authors. Here's something from Wikipedia in an article on "Rapture" subsection "Partial pre-tribulation premillennialism": As stated by Ira David (a proponent of this view): “The saints will be raptured in groups during the tribulation as they are prepared to go.”[98] Some notable proponents of this theory are G. H. Lang, Robert Chapman, G. H. Pember, Robert Govett, D. M. Panton, Watchman Nee, Ira E. David, J. A. Seiss, Hudson Taylor, Anthony Norris Groves, John Wilkinson, G. Campbell Morgan, Otto Stockmayer and Rev. J. W. (Chip) White Jr. Found here - an interesting read on the whole matter of the rapture: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapture I am familiar with a number of these authors and many were in the 19th century. If anyone is interested, here is a website I found today that promotes Partial Rapture Theory (PRT): https://www.bible-prophecy.co/partial-rapture-theory/ I have just started to look through it, so I can't vouch for its veracity. UPDATE: Just realized this website is by an author whose book I have on my shelf: "The Partial Rapture and the Left Behind Church" by Paul Shoenbarger Below posted by @Dennis1209 as a response to me (on that other, current thread): To coin an old secular adage, “The closer to the bone, the sweeter the meat.” The closer we get to the source material and references, the more detail and accuracy. My point is: 1 Thes. 4: 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore lcomfort one another with these words. [emphasis mine] On scripture: I am not dogmatic, but I see nowhere in scripture that teaches a partial rapture. How could we comfort one another knowing some of our beloved brethren and loved ones missed the church age (age of Grace) Rapture and Resurrection? It seems the pronoun WE is all-encompassing and all-inclusive. I mentioned the early so-called church fathers. Polycarp was a personal friend and disciple of John the Revelator, studying under John, not to mention Irenaeus under Polycarp and all the other so-called Ante-Nicene fathers. None of them knew what is spouted today as partial raptures. Short of reverifying, I do not recall any Reformation leaders of the sixteenth century mentioning partial raptures. This doctrinal introduction is a product of the 19th century, which is very late in Biblical terms. It is not to say there will only be one rapture and one glorification. I believe those Tribulation martyrs (and ourselves) will return with Christ at His 2nd coming, then having their glorified bodies. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Revelation 6:11) The final resurrection is the Great White Throne judgment, where those not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are bodily resurrected, condemned, and join the Antichrist and False Prophet in the Lake of Fire. I also would like @AdHoc to chime in. I consistently learn from you both, getting alternate views and thoughts.

  3. I can see why they say mid trib when I read revelation, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's pretrib and midtrib. At least there are 2 raptures, because the 2 witnesses get raptured as a seperate event.

  6. THREE FROGS........... "Ribbit" Rev 16:13-14: " I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty" Why does Satan (the dragon) need something extra to fight against Jesus? The Antichrist (the beast) is not enough. Apparent immortality is not enough. Satan and the Antichrist need demon spirits to deceive the kings of the world. And what does the symbol of a frog mean? They, frogs, come out of the "mouths" of the dragon, the antichrist and the false prophet. They issue forth from these three. Might they have something to do with "words".... as they "come out of their mouths"? .... maybe. Frogs are also amphibians. Might that have something to do with "fallen angels"?....... reptilian fallen angels....... maybe angels posing as reptilian aliens??? ..... again, maybe. Frogs are a strange symbol in Scripture. The only other place in the bible where frogs are mentioned to any extent is in the Exodus Saga. Frogs were one of the plagues.... they came out of the river and annoyed, aggravated, infuriated, and exasperated the Egyptians ...... in their houses, their beds, during their meals, etc. Are the frogs then a symbol of constant wearing on the nerves by persistent aggravation? ......Maybe. Why do the dragon, beast and false prophet send out these frog demon entities? Has their power somehow diminished? If the antichrist is in command of most of the nations of the earth, in charge of everyone whose names are not written in the Book of Life, and they worship him (AC), then why can't he order the kings of the earth to do what he wants them to? Why does he have to use deceptive spirits? After Jesus appears in the sky at the 6th seal, it is at that point the antichrist's power is greatly diminished. There are two things that Jesus does to the antichrist, and they are mentioned in 2 Thes 2:8: "And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and will bring to an end with the brightness of His coming" Jesus brings him, the antichrist, to nothing or to an end, and then afterwards He will slay him at Armageddon. That's why the antichrist has to send evil spirits..... to convince the kings of the world to come to Armageddon. His power is mostly gone.... he can't order them anymore.... he has to deceive them. So deception be the three spirit-like-frogs is what finally gets the world to Armageddon. Once the armies get there......... their fate is sealed, as described in Zechariah 14:12: "Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth" Deception got them to Armageddon. But...... it's really their refusal to repent that ultimately causes them to experience the last and final plague. Jesus speaks the Words....and pronounces His final judgment over them.... and they rot while still standing. " And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and they did not repent" Rev 16:11

  7. In my opinion: First, let's not confuse the Kingdom of Heaven with the Kingdom of God; I do not think they are synonymous. Without side-tracking to detail them, Matthew differentiates them by the Kingdom of Heaven 30 times and the Kingdom of God 5 times. Your question pertained to the Kingdom of God: And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:15) [emphasis added] Your allusion omitted the keyword, answering the question, the gospel. The Kingdom of God, as portrayed in the synoptic Gospel of Mark 1:15, highlights how Jesus is seen as the Messiah King who has come to restore God's intention for humanity and creation. The Kingdom of God is depicted as the antidote to the fall, bringing salvation and wholeness to the world. Jesus is presented as the inaugurator of this new kingdom, with his ministry focused on calling people to repent and believe in the good news. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16) What prophetic time in scripture is it? All the OT promises of the coming Messiah have arrived. "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed." Out with the old, and in with the new: The last OT prophet John the Baptist and the Law are being replaced by Grace and the Lord's sacrificial death for our justification, sanctification, and atonement. It was offered to the Jews first, and as a nation, they rejected their Messiah and unjustly murdered Him. Fortunately for us Gentiles, we were grafted into the vine. On Dominica Palmarum, Jesus made His triumphal entry to Jerusalem atop of an ass. To present Himself as the Jews Messiah, AND to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven. Because of that rejection, the Kingdom of Heaven has been postponed for two millennia now. Thus: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. (Daniel 9:24) This now takes place starting at the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation, concluding with the second advent of our Lord at the close of the Tribulation. Right or wrong, I hope my explanation clarifies my thoughts. Quid pro quo: What are your thoughts, and where do we differ?

  8. In doing a little reading about the spiritual meaning of a frog in contemporary 'spiritual' culture, the frog is a symbol of transformation, purity and prosperity, among other ideas. It's possible the kings of the earth that are deceived are steeped in the esoteric new age occultism that sees frogs this way; spiritual signs of wealth, prosperity, transformation, purity, etc. It's said in Rev 16 these demons are 'like' frogs. The idea being a resemblance to a frog whether that's a marsh leaper or an actual frog. I would think they aren't 'frogs' but bear enough of a likeness that to the kings about to be deceived, it's a frog. That semblance would have a message for the soon to be deceived kings that positive change is on the way and with it, wealth, health and prosperity, before the frog said a word, if they speak. I would think in order to complete the deception the frogs would speak, but who knows? The deception is the frog brings the message of transformation[of the good kind], wealth and prosperity, when in fact the joining together to battle at Armageddon is their doom. Maybe it isn't so much the beast has had his power diminished, as it is the need for messengers to preach their gospel, enticing the kings through the weakness of the flesh and the promise of the multitude of merchandise. But idk. I'm just speculating. :)

Even in the face of common sense, many will vote for their party no matter what. I like the idea of a 3rd party but I didn't think it's very realistic.

  12. The whole chapter is full of symbolisms, we have in the first paragraph of chapter 13 a beast with seven heads and ten horns with 10 crowns on the horns, but instead of going through all the symbolism in this chapter, lets just look at the mark. Verse 17 tells us. no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of the beast. Is the beast literal or symbolic? Are people going to have his name tattooed to their right hand or their forehead? or the number 666? So, you see the mark is symbolic, unless you think people are going to walk around with the number 666 on their forehead. look at Revelation 22, verse 4 They will see his face and his name will be on their foreheads. This is talking about God almighty, we will have his name, Look at the contrast, Gods people have his name written on their forehead and the beast has the rest. You belong to Gods kingdom or the enemies There is only one unpardonable sin, yet we see the mark of the beast is unpardonable, unless its the same sin, rejection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. You either belong to God and have his mark or you belong to the enemy and have the mark of the beast

  14. by Karen Faulkner, Worthy News Correspondent (Worthy News) – Islamic extremists destroyed homes and property belonging to a Christian community in Minya Province, Egypt, earlier this week after hearing rumors about plans to build a church in the area, Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) reports. The Christian village of Al-Fawakher in Minya Province was raided by extremists on April 23, CSW said. According to CSW sources, local police and firefighters were called, and they acted fast to bring the situation under control. A police investigation has been launched to arrest the perpetrators, including those who incited the violence by spreading a false rumor about the church building, CSW said. Commending the authorities for their quick intervention, CSW President Mervyn Thomas added in a statement: “An unacceptable culture of intimidation and discrimination is still far too prevalent in this region despite positive steps taken by the Egyptian authorities in recent years, and the personal commitment of President Sisi to fight sectarian extremism and promote equality of citizenship. Egyptian citizens should all be free to practice any religion or belief of their choosing without fear of threats or physical violence.” In a website statement about the situation facing Christians in Egypt, the Open Doors international Christian advocacy organization noted: “President al-Sisi and his government regularly speak positively about Egypt’s Christian community—which, through the Coptic church, is long and historic. He purposely includes both Muslims and Christians in Egypt’s identity. However, this stance does not always extend to areas outside of major urban centers—authorities are known to ignore or downplay the concerns of Egyptian believers.” Muslim-majority Egypt ranks 38 on the Open Doors World Watch List 2024 of the top 50 countries where Christians are persecuted. 18. My mistake: I misinterpreted the thread's title and assumed it was a question for clarification. Exegesis is the critical interpretation (opinion) of a religious text, while hermeneutics is the method of my interpretation (opinion). Any subject discussed or scriptural evidence submitted is subject to opposing opinions and disagreement. The context of Daniel chapter nine is seventy weeks of years broken down and explained. I am a simpleton, so to be simple: And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:27) He (man of sin, lawless one, Antichrist) and the verse above is where we derive a seven-year Tribulation. Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14 are the parallel passages (mid-tribulation). The seven-year Tribulation is also called “the Day of the Lord” in other prophetic passages that are too numerous to document. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21) The time of Jacob's trouble (3.5 years), mentioned in Jeremiah 30:7, refers to a period of great distress for Judah and Israel but with the promise of salvation. This time is believed to be the Tribulation, a period of unparalleled suffering before Christ's return. The purpose is to bring Israel back to the Lord and fulfill His promises. Trying to describe the final week without mentioning the preceding 69 weeks, the present gap between the 69th and 70th week (church age—age of Grace), and the time of Jacob’s trouble would not mean much. My view of Daniel’s 70th-week sides with the premillennialist literal view, another meaningless opinion. Amillennialists have certain common features in their interpretation of Daniel 9:24–27. These include (a) the beginning of the seventy weeks was in 536 b.c. in the time of Cyrus, not (as premillennialists say) in 445 b.c. under Artaxerxes. This has the effect of allowing the seventy-sevens to be imprecise in duration. (b) The seventieth week is the entire Church Age, not a future seven-year period of Tribulation. These characteristic interpretations of amillennialism stem from not consistently practicing literal interpretation.[1] [1] Ryrie, Charles Caldwell. Basic Theology: A Popular Systematic Guide to Understanding Biblical Truth. Moody Press, 1999, p. 519.

  20. It's worth sharing how I learned to "speak in turn." How? I lost the ability to speak and had to learn how to do it all over again. That was the first step along the way to be sure. The second step ---and arguably the most important lesson that the Lord delivered to me in this regard after He taught me how to speak again --- was remaining silent while my adopted mother did her very best to drive me away. How I did I know when I should say nothing? The Spirit commanded me to say nothing. He made it all too easy to do the "right thing" at the right time, for this is precisely what He promises to do for us all. When the Lord told me that I was to honor her as if she was my mother, this included bearing whatever she threw my way in silence. Did I ever want to pack my duffel bag and take off? Yes indeed, and on more than one occasion. The Lord intervened, saying that I was going nowhere. I didn't realize that I was facing dementia until the Spirit said as much one day when I cried out to Him to reveal why saying nothing --- and ignoring her bizarre demands that I leave --- pleased Him. She was suffering from dementia and I was the one whom He chose to be a son until her time was finished. The one who waits upon the Lord speaks in turn, my friends. There are times when we say nothing at all.

  21. Yes, of course. The one involving sight was the one that happened in one of the churches i go to. I saw a white light which looked like an angel to me. It had human shape but no face, and it had wings. It appeared in front of me and i got very scared at first but i didn't have fear because i knew immediately that this was a response to some of the prayers i was doing for months, in regards to a health-related situation. So it was more of a shock-scare, like when someone yells behind you to scare you but you know they don't mean any harm. The angel stayed in front of me for about 10 seconds and then it flew away on the top of the church and went through the roof of the church. My wife was also present who saw this. It was only me and her in the church on a Wednesday afternoon, and the priest opened the door for us so we can pray. So i also have her as a witness to "comfort" me that i wasn't crazy. But even if she wasn't there, i wouldn't care if people believe me or not. Because miracles are personal, unless God wants them public like the Fatima miracle or other miracles throughout history. The one involving smell is related to an icon in Pennsylvania which releases an oil which smells like roses. This is also a miracle onto itself on how this icon releases oil but i was lucky to be anointed with this oil. So, 3 months after, when i was praying, i smelt this scent as a response to my prayer and the issue which was health-related, was resolved. GLORY TO GOD!

  22. I certainly agree. You will find when you unpack Daniel that this is indeed prophesied in 2:43. After the cross, the Jews who would accept Jesus as their Messiah (pottery clay) would go out into the world preaching the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus. This would begin His church which would quickly become dominated by the Gentiles who accepted Jesus and followers of Christ. It would not take very long when the Gentiles would develop a pagan Roman type hierarchy in the church. They would take over the power of the church, and bring in pagan practices, idols, change God’s laws and commands. This is what 2:43 is telling us - the Jews would “mingle” with them but would not / could no longer accept the changes brought into this now Gentile / Christian church.

  23. An example would be the Halls of Congress in the USA. Lots of Jews, many others have dual citizenship with Israel. And right now the fight is on as many on the Right are more aware than ever of the evils of deep corruption in DC. Congress is encroaching daily on the freedom of US citizens. I suspect this is out of desperation as politicians are losing the grip on the narrative. Probably there will be a very desperate act on the horizon as the election is just 7 months away, an election they are convinced they would lose if it was fair and free. And remember, Jews don't like the rest of the world. World domination is part of their manifesto. Jews are the religious zealots. The seed of Abraham, Israel, are the people of God.

  24. The following by Clarence Larkin is well explained, as well as how I interpret Daniel. The scope: Daniel 9:24 490 years The 483 years: Daniel 9:25 The church age: Daniel 9:26 The last 7 years: Daniels 70th week - Time of Jacob’s trouble (3.5 years) As the events recorded in Rev. 6:1 to Rev. 19:21, are connected with the last, or “Seventieth Week,” of Daniel’s “SEVENTY WEEKS,” it is necessary that we stop here and explain what is meant by Daniel’s “Seventieth Week.” The Prophet Daniel had been 68 years (B.C. 538) in Babylon, and by a study of the Prophecy of Jeremiah (Jer. 25:11), he discovered that the “Seventy Years” Captivity of his people was nearing its end, and so he set his face unto the Lord, to seek by prayer and supplication (Dan. 9:3) to know the exact time of its ending, and while he was praying the Angel Gabriel appeared to enlighten him. (Dan. 9:20–23.) Daniel was concerned about the expiration of the “Seventy Years” of the Captivity, and the restoration of his people to Palestine, and the rebuilding of the City of Jerusalem and of the Temple. But the Angel Gabriel came to disclose to him something more important than that. While he doubtless informed Daniel that God would fulfill His promise as to the “Seventy Years” of the Captivity, which, as we know, He did, he also made known to Daniel that that would not end the troubles of Israel. That while the Jews were to return to Jerusalem at the end of the “Seventy Years” of Captivity, there was a longer period to elapse before the Kingdom would be restored to them, a period of “SEVENTY WEEKS.” “SEVENTY WEEKS are determined upon Thy People (Daniel’s people the Jews) and upon the Holy City (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the ‘MESSIAH THE PRINCE’ shall be SEVEN WEEKS, and THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS shall MESSIAH BE CUT OFF, but not for Himself: and the people (Roman) of the PRINCE THAT SHALL COME (Antichrist) shall destroy the City and the Sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he (Antichrist) shall confirm the Covenant with many for ONE WEEK (the last or Seventieth Week): and in the midst of THE WEEK he (Antichrist) shall cause the Sacrifice and the oblations to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations (the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Christ, Matt. 24:15) he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Dan. 9:24–27. This Vision of the “SEVENTY WEEKS” is the most important revelation, in many ways, made in the Scriptures. We are here told that this Period of “SEVENTY WEEKS” was determined upon Daniel’s PEOPLE (the Jews), and upon the HOLY CITY (Jerusalem). This is very important. It discloses the fact that the “SEVENTY WEEKS” have nothing to do with the Gentiles, or the Church, but only with the JEWS and JERUSALEM. It also discloses another important fact that the “SEVENTY WEEKS” only cover the period when the Jews are DWELLING IN THEIR OWN LAND, and does not cover the present period of their Dispersion. We are told in verse 24 that these “SEVENTY WEEKS” were determined for a SIX-FOLD purpose. 1. TO FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION. It is the transgression of ISRAEL that is here referred to, and the finishing of it will be the turning away of UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB. Rom. 11:26–27. The transgression of Israel has not yet come to an end, and will not until they as a Nation shall be converted. 2.TO MAKE AN END OF SINS. The margin reads to “seal up” sins. The sins of ISRAEL. This may refer to the author of Israel’s sins—Satan, who shall at that time be “sealed up” in the Pit. Rev. 20:1–3. 3. TO MAKE RECONCILIATION FOR INIQUITY. This refers to ISRAEL’S iniquity in the rejection of their Messiah. While atonement was made for their sin on the Cross, its application to Israel as a Nation awaits the day when they shall look on Him whom they pierced (Zech. 12:10), and a fountain shall be opened to the “House of David,” and the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and uncleanliness, Zech. 13:1, and a nation, the Jewish Nation, shall be “born again” in a day. Isa. 66:8. 4. TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS. When the “Transgression of ISRAEL” has come to an end, and her sins are “sealed up,” then everlasting righteousness shall be brought in. The King will come, and the Kingdom be restored to Israel, and the Millennium will be here, and the “Knowledge of the Lord” shall cover the earth, as the waters cover the sea. Hab. 2:14. 5. TO SEAL UP THE VISION AND PROPHECY. When the “Transgression of ISRAEL” has ceased and they have uninterrupted communion with God, there will no longer be any need for “Vision” or “Prophet.” It is a noteworthy fact that “Vision” and “Prophecy” has been confined to the Jewish race. 6. TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY. This probably refers to the anointing of the “Most Holy Place,” or the “Holy of Holies” of the MILLENNIAL TEMPLE, described by Ezekiel. Ezek. 41. There is great significance in this announcement; for, although the Tabernacle of Moses was anointed (Lev. 8:10), there is no mention of such a ceremony in the Consecration of either Solomon’s Temple, or the Temple of Zerubbabel, for those buildings were considered merely as continuations of the Mosaic Tabernacle. But when the King comes back and sits upon the Throne of His father David, there is to be a magnificent Temple erected, the like of which has never as yet been seen on this planet of ours. There will be no “Ark of the Covenant” with its “Mercy Seat,” in the “Most Holy Place” of the Millennial Temple (Jer. 3:16), but in its place will stand the ROYAL THRONE on which the “BRANCH,” the Messiah shall sit as a KING-PRIEST (Zech. 6:12–13), and whose anointing is here referred to. Now as the fulfilment of this “Six-Fold” purpose of the “SEVENTY WEEKS” synchronizes with the things that shall happen at the close of this Dispensation, and that are described in Rev. 6:1; 19:21, it is clear that the last, or “SEVENTIETH WEEK” of Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks,” covers the “TIME PERIOD” of Rev. 6:1; 19:21, and confirms the claim that that “Period” is Jewish and has nothing to do with the Church. To prove this it is only necessary to outline Daniel’s “Seventy Weeks.” The “Seventy Weeks” are divided into “THREE PERIODS” of 7 Weeks, and 62 Weeks, and 1 Week. They cover the time from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem, which was the 14th day of the month Nisan (March) B. C. 445, to the Second Stage (The Revelation) of the Second Coming of Christ. The “First Period,” 7 WEEKS, refers to the time required to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, which was 49 years, thus giving us the “Key” to the meaning of the word “WEEK,” for if 7 WEEKS are equal to 49 YEARS, then 1 WEEK is equal to 7 YEARS. Now we are told that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (B. C. 445) unto the “MESSIAH THE PRINCE,” shall be 7 WEEKS, and THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS, or 69 WEEKS, or, if 1 WEEK is equal to 7 YEARS, 7 × 69 or 483 YEARS. Now Jesus, as “MESSIAH THE PRINCE,” rode in triumph into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, April 2, A. D. 30. The difference in time between B. C. 445 and A. D. 30 is 475 years, but, as we have seen, 69 WEEKS equal 483 years, a difference of 8 years. How are we to explain this difference? The 475 years between B. C. 445 and A. D. 30, are Julian or Astronomical years of 365¼ days each, but when we reduce them to Calendar years of 360 days each, the year used in the Scriptures, we find that we have exactly 483 years of 360 days each. This proves that there was no break between the “First” and “Second” Periods of the “Seventy Weeks,” and that the prophecy that there should be 69 WEEKS to the coming of “MESSIAH THE PRINCE” was literally fulfilled. Now as 69 WEEKS of Daniel’s “SEVENTY WEEKS” have already expired, and all that was prophesied to occur during those “SEVENTY WEEKS” has not yet been fulfilled, it stands to reason that the things unfulfilled are still future, and must be fulfilled in the remaining “ONE WEEK,” and that that “ONE WEEK” shall be “SEVEN YEARS” long, for it must be of the same length as the other “WEEKS.” This then gives us the length of time of the reign of the “PRINCE THAT SHALL COME” (Antichrist), who we are told in verse 27 (Dan. 9:27) shall make a Covenant with the Jews for “ONE WEEK” (7 years), the last or “SEVENTIETH WEEK,” and that in the “Middle” of the WEEK he shall break the Covenant and cause the “sacrifice and oblation” that the Jews will have restored, to cease, and then the “overspreading of abominations that maketh desolate,” shall continue until the end of the WEEK. As this is just what is foretold will occur during the reign of Antichrist (2. Thess. 2:3–4) we see that the “Period” between Rev. 6:1 and Rev. 19:21, that we are now about to study, is the “Third Period” of ONE WEEK, of Daniel’s “SEVENTY WEEKS” and that it is to last SEVEN YEARS. From this we see that while there was no “Time Space” between the “First” and “Second” Periods of the “Seventy Weeks,” there is a “Time Space” between the “Second” and “Third” Periods or the 69th and 70th Week, of already (A. D. 1919) 1889 years, or the present Church Age. This was hidden so the Church should not fail to watch. See the Chart, “Daniel’s Seventy Weeks.”1 1 Larkin, Clarence. 25. Where to find Christ Jesus: Romans ch 1 1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) 3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: 5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: 6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: 7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; 10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; 12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. 13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. 14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. 15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Jesus Christ came for the Jew, the Greek, the Muslim, the Buddhist, , all people , gentiles of the worldé Salvation in Christ Jesus is possible to ALL. Here is a testimony of this from a Muslim who finds Christ Jesus as his personal Savior. Let us remember we are ALL sinners falling short of HIs Grace. What Ge has done for others, he can do for you and you and you. Here is the title of the testimony that can be found on you tube A Muslim's Encounter with Jesus (Powerful Testimony)

  26. The uniqueness of the New Covenant of Jesus Blood: Having no idea of what it will be like or even idea to start ... I, as a little child, am His and I now desire the things of Him more than all else I began in... there is no law in this place of s/Spirit it is just serving Him while moving through the worthless...

  28. Where did that war get us? Perhaps a bit of serious debate born of protestations is a good thing. How many of our then 18 and 19 year old youth, and now 70 and 80 year olds at the USA were seriously adversely affected for their lifetime (Or died young very young), for what again defense of freedom? All while the leaders that thought warring to be good thing, for them anyway, sat rather comfortably at home, and now their sons and daughters of wealth in the USA are competing with China to be the biggest investors in Communist controlled Vietnam! Maybe a bit of protest, though inconvenient and maybe unpopular, is a good thing to have to face, for it does force some thinking, even some praying, and a lot of justifying of one's policies that affect so many to the core of their lives now and will for the remaining term of their individual and collective lives.
