I enjoy the company of others; however there are times I prefer my own company to be with my thoughts. I especially enjoy the solitude in my mornin's after chores. I can sit down with my coffee, breakfast n my bible; to ruminate n reflect.

Does paint a picture don't it. -
I truly do not appreciate the hateful speech against our President! Look at recent history, no President has made more positve advances since President Reagan. In all my life I have never seen the hatred and attacks upon a president. What exactly is ya'lls problem? The good book clearly states that we submit to our leaders! A country divided cannot stand!

I tend to agree. Civilization today throws the "carnal" in our faces, further strengthening desires of the flesh. This is merely another ongoing test from God ( the devil plays a major role however ), to separate the wheat from the chaf. How strong are you? This is the question above all. i struggle with life's challenges as all do, in my mind it becomes a matter of will.......God or temptation? Which will it be?

Since we are nt held accountable for old testament dietary laws, I eat whatever my doctor says I can eat...... high blood pressure n diabetes aside....LOL

Notre Dame is just a structure. It kills me that they saved a bunch of artifacts ( which mostly I think are fakes) yet they do not account for those who died buildin' that place. Once again folks, a church is a body of believers, not a building!

I enjoy fellowship in a few ways. Of course in my church with my church family learning more of God's word. I also enjoy our potlucks where we can share our lives together. Odd as it may seem to some of you I also enjoy time with non-believers discussing/debating my Christian faith, after all they are God's children as well.

Just be easy with her and introduce her to excerpts from the first five of the new testament. Try to answer her questions in an easy to understand manner, an give her a copy of the bible. This may peek her interest/ curiosity even further. Good luck n God bless!

Question about Homosexuality
BorderCowboy replied to Leyla's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
The good book clearly says homosexuality is a no no. Enough said. -
What do you guys think of the heartbeat bill?

I am glad of it. These abortion laws of late appear as genocide to me. It isn't our place, outside of criminal justice, to take the life of a human bein"...that is our good Lord's department. Just my thoughts. -
Very interesting article my friend, I enjoyed reading it. Thankya kindly for sharing.

I would say He has. I was on a self-destructive sinful and path wanted my life to end. The Lord filled me with the Holy Spirit which led me to the good book. Upon reading I became aware of God's law and how I was expected to live as a believer.

Mornin' Folks, So last night I was in chat and the topic of atheists came up. I was surprised by the number of people that stated that they "hated" them some stating they "had no souls". Atheists are folks with hardened hearts, eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear. Basically they are folks who have not been sent the Holy Spirit and and brought into the light by our Lord. We, as believers, are disciples of God and it is our mission to help bring the word to people like these. So, I say we should not turn our faces away from atheists, but stand our ground and share the Lord's word with them. Be vigilant After all we are soldiers of God! Your thoughts? JJ

I may have the ability to write well ( typing not so much ) but when it comes to computers a first grader makes me look like a technological neanderthal!

Miss Melinda, it's always good to spread the good news: however, the good Lord gave all of us free will and that will allow a variety of view points and interpretations on faith. Say what you will and stand strong in your belief and don't get discouraged if your view doesn't get accepted. God bless!

You said it brother, we mustn't forget the true meaning of Easter. God bless you and all Christians world wide!

I agree with you sister. Opinions vary with man, who is fallible,so interpretation will vary as well. And we have a tendency to bend interpretation to fit our desires. The words of our Lord states "eyes that see and ears that hear" and w need that open mindedness to truly understand.
