Hello Spiderman...they might have lots of power but from God or Satan?dont they worship mary or something like that?
  3. Hello.yes that common thing today...with everything at our finger tips...ive battled with the same things.or should i say battle with out the ed on the end...i mean lust is lust. What helps me is the Word of God...once you see how your getting played(myself also) you will not go down so easy...The Bible says it is with the mind that we Serve the Lord(Romans 7:25) the mind is the first thing to go...like if someone says,im going back to school to get a masters degree....they havnt got any books yet....havnt called the school yet....but the mind is the first thing to go... When John the Baptist came he had a simple message...Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. I heard a Preacher say one time...if you put something in front of you that is bigger then whats behind you... There was a Dog named pup....Pup grow up big and strong....they had to buy a big big chain to keep him chained to a big post... Pup would run out when he saw something growling and standing on his back legs and the chain pulling him back every time... but one day......Pup saw something in front of him that was bigger then what was behind him...this time he leaned his neck forward and took off and broke that chain... now the thing about it was Pup always had that power...but it wasnt until there was something in front of him that was bigger then what was behind him that he broke free. The Bible says ...Where there is no vision the people perish ect...Proverbs 29:18KJV Hope this helps Agape
  4. Hello, sorry to hear of the troubles latly....as i read your post i see where i was before...but i need to tell you something...When you learn the truth you will not have a lot of these problems. ive been just looking at this screen for along time trying to figure out how to tell you the good news...but its hard without scripture...but i do understand what you mean...when i was having trouble before people did that to me and i didnt like it sometimes...depending on how they did it...ive been through many big storms in life and like trying to help others...leave me a message if you would like(i most likly will reply in 24 hours or less).Praying now Agape
  5. Hello,i would say just keep strenghening your self with the Word...The Bible says many take the wide road,i know some people that are looked at as very good people...lots of money, work hard ect.and can even come off as very charming but....have very little if any "fruit"and have to much of a im better than you type thing going on...once you learn how to put on the armor of God and other wisdoms in the Word things get better.I think alot of times people thinking they dont fit in with most people is a good thing.
  6. Well if you havnt already. You simply believe that Jesus the son of God was sent to die on the cross as our savior for sin.Do this in Prayer. For more clarity read Romans 10:9 and Romans 10:10. Well let me get them for you one second. Romans 10:9-10King James Version (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. if you have already said or say this prayer with an open heart. Congratulations you are a child of God.(your not going to hell). now if you ask me it's very important to read the word of God and keep seeking widom. Some will say you can't back slide but I disagree. Because I myself back slid big time under very heavy oppression. hope this helps some.Agape
  7. Well one question is do you have to be around him? do you live with him? If you don't have to be around him I would get my mind right with the Lord( put on all the armor of the Lord) and take a break from being around him until your strong in the Lord and all his might. But if you have to be around him like living with him then it gets a little more difficult. In that case I would try to stay away from him by staying in different areas of the house or whatever until you know you can withstand all of the Fury darts easyly. Just build up on God's love, understanding, wisdom. The Spirit of the most high will show you how to deal with him.Agape and Praying now
  8. Pro 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
  9. it is important that we try to keep our mind on the Word of God and look to the Word for all Wisdom(not saying God wont or cant send his Word through people)...very strange Spirts out there now days...I myself at times would hang around so many People i would kinda forget who i was. When Jesus was in Gethsemane he asked his top disciples to keep watch while he went to Pray...What did they do? fall asleep. How to change your mind? well ,if you put something in front of you that is bigger and more important than whats behind you ...When John the Baptist came he had a simple message basicly...repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. The Bible says in(KJV) Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Now that you are Born again God wants to use you as a light .Sorry if this is not that much help.im very tired, just wanted to try and push out one last post for the night.God Bless You
  10. Hello cheng. Sorry to hear of the hard times latly. But let's look at the good side you found Worthy! The Bible tells us that Faith cometh by the hearing of the word of God. I myself love to lay back and listen to Bible Gateway audio.(free) or read e-Sword(free). I think you will very much like this site. I understand feeling alone but once we start to understand God's word we realize we're not. The Bible tells us to lean not on our thine own understanding. And don't worry about being lucky or unlucky the Bible says that Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Hope to see you around soon! And im going to Pray now that God Bless you with comfort.Agape.
  11. Hello I understand what you're saying. But you're not alone you have the good Lord (all powerful friend)and you have me and other believers as friends.even if we are not face to face.i have to remind myself of that from time to time. Praying now

  13. Gen 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
  14. Hello,o ok...i think i understand a little more now...Take what i say with a grain of salt because i dont think i know much about relationships.I myself would feel guilty for not telling about my sin, especially after 6 months. from reading your first post on this in the welcome area i would slow it way down with him at the least...I just dont want you to be with someone that God doesnt want you with. i understand people have issues but to hide that for so long seems so wrong to me...And not only that, what i get from the welcome post is that he takes what you say lightly( im guessing Spiritaul stuff) and thats real bummer. i mean if i were you i would slow it way down and test the Spirit... 1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 1Jn 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1Jn 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1Jn 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1Jn 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. 1Jn 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1Jn 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. if not back all the way out...but like i said i dont consider myself knowing much about relationships...im just commenting to try and help anyway. I just think there are so many red flags even in this short part of what you said earlyer about this " He's very laid back about it or makes lite of things that I feel strongly about. Its clear that he isn't as strong in his faith as I am and I feel like I may be choosing him because I want to instead of because God wants me to. He is 28 and isn't a virgin but at this stage in my life I've resigned myself to the fact that unless I meet a monk I'm not going to find a guy who is. If you want Prayer on this i will no problem...take care God Bless
  15. Hello, the thing that makes me think this might be a red flag is that you have been dating him for 6 months and him never bringing this up...especially after words like this"all we said about our faith and living as god wants us too." you say"Now I've had weak moments myself on occasion but I can't believe he has this sort of addiction" does that mean you have done this same thing while dating him without telling him?

    Prayer

Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Jas 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Jas 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Jas 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (KJV)Praying now Allroses48 God Bless
  17. Some one already said this but if it keeps being very tite and you dont get someone else to do it...you can turn the whole neck(counter clockwise i believe) and unscrew it from outlet inside the wall...and then you can work on getting it apart easyer because you will have it in your hand...BUT you will need to put pipe dope (or white teflon tape)on the threads before twisting the neck back into wall outlet...I said pipe dope or tape for this but i would go with pipe dope for neck to wall threads and tape for shower head to neck threads.I know this because i just turned a old regular tub/shower into a double walk in shower last year .i will try and post a pic...o and if you do take out the neck be sure you are putting it back in the way you want it...both ways work but one way seem better...lol and like the other poster said check for leaks where the neck scrrews into the wall if you do take the neck off and replace it..like if you dont screw it in tite enough.
  18. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. And Welcome to Worthy
  19. i dont get on the forums much but i hope People dont rush to make bad judgements on your post.GB
  20. Hello Eileenhat Shalom,I was thinking...Didnt Eve sin first? (KJV) Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Gen 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. im not saying Adam would not have fallin for what the serpent said but its looks to me like the Women(first) did and then give to the man.
