The US under Trump would most certainly attempt to intervene.  But will it be able to?  If New York (Babylon?) is taken out (dirty bomb or something similar) then that would mean chaos here. For quite a while anyway.  Or, it could be a nuclear attack from NK or even China.  It is public knowledge now that our own nuclear capabilities are quite diminished as is our nuclear defense system.  Heck, some of the systems depend on floppy disk!!! 

Exacatly!  The US has to be removed as a world power before the rest will happen. Prophecy will come true, the exact order I am shaky on as far as civil war, nuclear options, and so on but this country will go down, it has to and then there is the judgement that is upon this nation because of great sins

The real issue, Netanyahu argued, is “the collapse of whole nations, of whole states in civil wars, and in the wars of radical Islam over the future of the Arab and Muslim world.”

“In just a few months in Syria, in Yemen and in [South] Sudan, more people were killed than in a hundred years of conflict [with] the Palestinians…[and these killings] have nothing to do with us,” he said, adding that “our hearts are with the innocent civilians suffering the evils of war.”

Without the State of Israel, Netanyahu said, developments in the Arab world over the past several years — revolutions and coups and violence — would have “swept through this land” too, and the Palestinians would have been affected.

“Israel is not a source of instability in the region,” the prime minister charged. “Israel is an anchor of stability and security in the region, it is a force preventing a further avalanche, and many in the world — and of course in the United States — understand this.”

In the same speech, Netanyahu also adopted a softer tone vis-a-vis the United States, however, touting the “strong” relationship between Israel and the US despite their differences of opinion. This came after nearly a week of lashing out daily at the Obama administration in the wake of its abstention on Friday’s anti-settlements resolution at the Security Council.

While i do agree with you here, but it is critical that we are not on the wrong side of the problem for our own sakes.

Hi mabel,

I don`t want to go too far off the topic here so will give a short answer. (turned into a long one.  As Kwik has said the `unity of faith is by the Spirit,` giving us `our faith in the knowledge of who Jesus is.`

Firstly we are placed in the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit - members of His Body. (1 Cor. 12: 18) then as we grow we individually come to know more of Christ & His purposes. We can receive this revelation (bit by bit) or reject it & thus will not be `in unity in the faith` (what we believe) with the rest of the Body.

So..... - Salvation by faith in Christ`s finished work is the basis of our faith with baptism in water as `dying with Christ, then rising, to live with Christ.` Then comes the receiving of the infilling of the Holy Spirit, (to guide & nurture us in our life); we then understand that the Holy Spirit has different giftings & distributes them through out the Body of Christ for its growth, (1 Cor. 12: 7 - 11   Eph. 4: 16); later we realise that Jesus Christ the Head of the Body is ministering through people to equip them to help others, (Eph. 4: 11 - 13); & finally by the Holy Spirit we receive the understanding of God`s eternal purposes through Christ to rule in every realm & bring harmony in every sphere. (Eph. 1: 9 - 11)

It is important to note that the Apostle Paul gave his disciples the whole counsel of God & then told them that `savage wolves` would come in and scatter them. (Acts 20: 27 - 30) That is why we have had such different beliefs over the centuries & so many different denominations. Some would get a truth & then build a denomination of it, (think of all the main denoms & you`ll see in their name the truth they stood for - Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals etc etc) Now we need to realise that people died for those beliefs, & we don`t have to, (in our countries).

Then amazingly throughout last century the Holy Spirit swept across all denominations (Protestants & Catholics), & people received further understanding of Christ, His giftings, ministries, till finally we are at the stage of really understanding His purposes for  - the Body of Christ, for Israel & for the nations. Once that has gone main stream, then I believe we, the Body of Christ has grown to full maturity by the Holy Spirit, to understand all concerning Christ, that we are to know to reach the `Unity of the Faith,` what we believe of Christ, His purposes.  

1. The Body of Christ - a spiritual body made up of us all individually, is `set,` by the Holy Spirit - (the Unity of the Spirit - the basis).

2. The Body of Christ - grows by the Spirit, (individually & corporately) by what it believes, by what it receives of the revelation of Christ. (Unity of Faith/belief).

Both `unity`s are necessary & are being brought about by the Holy Spirit.
