And a part of that studying is to hear the word over and over time and again.... I am a auditory learner. I listen to the Bible about once a week and from those listenings make notes on things that I want to delve into later. You might try it for you process spoken words with a different part of the brain than written words and that process can bring out things that one doesn't get just from reading because you've read it already and placed it in the order that you first believed. I asked my family for bible on cd for Christmas, and most of the reason was from reading your posts talking about this! Thanks!
