can you prove that he doesn't?

Historically, medieval kings had absolute rights over their subjects; doesn't the POTUS only have legal rights?

actually the constitution and the laws we have made through the constitution does give him absolute authority to declassify secret material.....

The only absolute authority I know of is God.

Governing authorities is the scripture. A President meets that standard. And the law gives a President the right to declassify classified documents at their discretion....

The legal right, or as Trump claimed the "absolute right" to declassify at their discretion?

there is a huge difference in having absolute rights to declassify something and having absolute rights over the US citizens....   good grief....

he has the legal right to declassify any secret that he chooses to do so.....    and that is an absolute right...       I don't get your thinking here.

“The classification system is not based on a law,” said Steven Aftergood, a government secrecy specialist with the Federation of American Scientists. “It is an expression of presidential authority, and that means that the president and his designees decide what is classified, and they have the essentially unlimited authority to declassify at will. The president defines the terms of the security clearance system and the parameters that determine who may be given access to classified information.”

Isn't the "unlimited authority" of the executive branch limited by the other two branches of government?

What would be better is if you stopped trying to assign false values to things other people say and misrepresent them just so you have something to knock down.

I don't recall any "absolute" rights in the Constitution, although the Declaration of Independence mentions inalienable rights, i.e., "freedoms that each individual in the United States have which cannot be transferred to another person or surrendered except by the individual having those rights."
