Hi;

If your a Christian you have, you just don’t recognize it. For all Christians have and are.

scripture says;

Colossians 3:15 (NASB)
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

That word rule can also be translated as “arbitrate”. So it can be translated “Let the Peace of Christ arbitrate in your heart”

In other words, if something causes you to lose your peace and joy, do something else that doesn’t cost you your peace and joy. Doesn’t matter what it is, do something else.

For all Christians do listen and are listening to the peace of Christ in their hearts whether they realize it or not. For it is how God leads. Whether they are reading scripture and something jumps out at them and their heart rejoices at the new found light. Or if they are doing such and such and start to get convicted, they lose the peace they have before God and by it know that something is wrong somewhere.

Hope this helps. Take it to God and ask for a confirmation and see what He says.

Blessings as you search into Him with all your heart.

Much love in Christ, Not me

Basically, I read, ponder, and try to apply His written word into my daily life....through words and deeds primarily.

His Holy Spirit also I believe put thoughts into my mind for me to act upon, that must line up with a His word. If it doesn’t line up, it might not be from Him.

Ask (and seek) the Father,  Who gives to all men generously and without reproach,  and don't be double-minded.

Jesus says the Father GLADLY WITH GREAT PLEASURE

REVEALS SALVATION to little children,   (and hides it from the educated ones!) ......

And Jesus says trust and rely on the Father to accomplish your salvation,  do not rely on anyone else, not even yourself.

An uncountable number of poster/ people on earth are and have been deceived by feelings, emotions, and other things that they were 'convinced' were God leading them or being with them,  but it was the enemy and unbelievers who convinced them,  not God.

Many trusted such frauds as m.t. in the rcc   and b.g. in the usa,   and were led astray all the rest of their lives,  if not rescued by someone in truth in Jesus.

So even very popular followings can be  ,  and almost always are,   on the road to destruction, not the narrow painful road to life (in JESUS!) ...

You've already begun to engage the trek to daily discerning His will and guidance.  It begins with the Words of God, understanding those written Words (logos), reveal THE Word (rhema) to us and how to enter a RELATIONSHIP with Him.

As we believe  the  Words, we pray and learn to "connect" consciously  with Him in a dynamic, living growing  relationship with the  King.   We begin to hear His still small  voice in our reborn spirits now "one" with  His  Spirit:

Quote
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Our spiritual eyes get keener, our ears sharper, and we begin to discern more and more clearly  what the Word is saying to  us TODAY.   His indwelling Spirit is our Teacher, explaining His written Words to us, how they apply to us TODAY...in our personal needs and decision making.

He has many ways to communicate.  For me, I "hear" Him via His written Words more than any other way.  But He gives visual instruction as well, dreams, visions and such.  He will guide through "peace"....through circumstances....opening doors He wants us to walk into opportunities through and closing others that do not serve His plan for our lives.

He begins  to lead us into spiritual "disciplines" that serve to subdue the  old nature, prayer, reading, fasting.  And we grow.  The relationship is paramount to discerning  His  leading.  It is a process of growth you have well and truly begun.  Cling to Him in all things and He will continue to develop eyes that see and ears that hear  in you.  Be a "doer" of what He reveals, not a hearer only as best you are able, repent and ask forgiveness when you realized you've failed in any  point.  Trust Him to INSTANTLY forgive and cleanse when you seek forgiveness for any  trespass.

Quote
Quote
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When you stumble BELIEVE Him!  Confess, repent and GET UP.....BE CLEAN.  It is His power that cleanses us from every stain our trespasses try  to place on us.   It takes ten seconds to recover from a stumble.  What  God has called clean, let no man (especially yourself) call unclean.  Don't wallow in shame...that is pride and self-righteousness at work in us.

You will stumble less and less as He works in you  to transform your mind, will and emotions into His image.

And you will grow and mature.....into:

Quote
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.  For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.  But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

There is NOTHING wrong with  being and infant.  We all begin  in that place in Him.  There is a LOT wrong with being and infant at 30 years old!  Remember like a Good Father, He delights in  our  PROCESS of growing  into all He is calling us to be...mature sons and daughters  leaving  behind the needs and wants of  helpless infancy  as we grow into the ability to be about the Father's business with  Him.

He  HAS begun a good work in you and HE WILL FINISH IT.

Quote
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

It's not about  who we are, where we've been, our abilities (none of those  impress He  who created worlds).  It's not about our  gifts and talents and not even about  our sin.  He dealt with that if we will just believe and trust  and DO what  He  says  about sin.

It's about  Who HE is, and what HE has FINISHED.   GLORY!  :)

Engage His process....He  delights in you....and He will finish His work in you (and all of us).  amen

Sometimes it can be pretty subtle and you don't feel a thing, other than maybe impressed and thankful after you realize God had a hand on you. I firmly believe that all those coincidences great and small that keep us out of trouble are being led by God. If you check out I Kings 19:11-13 you find an instance of Elijah seeking God. He witnessed a lot of severe weather, fire, and so on but God wasn't in any of that. When he finally did hear from God it was in the form of a still, small voice.

It can be most uncomfortable! Don't expect bubble baths and lavender. Might not even know of it until after the fact. It might be seen only in the rear view mirror towards the end  of a long journey.

One of my own calls received came in the form of a telephone call telling me a family member had died. Happened the same day  business owners told me I was to be the new manager a position I had worked so very hard to gain. I had to say, sorry I am up and leaving to tend to family needs 2800 miles away. It took me almost seven years to see in the rear view mirror of my life's travels that  I had been called to go, and later after all that, I was called to return back where I had been with actual visions and dreams and almost depressions that dibilitated me, and that managers position. But it all worked out and in that same rear view mirror  I now see the why of it all.

So careful what you think you desire, for the real calling  can become a very different and most wild ride.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:12-16

  • but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

To be led by the Spirit of God refers to living our lives according to the righteous Life of Christ that dwells within spirit, rather than being led by the sinful and lustful desires of our flesh.

The key to this is having your mind set on godly things and to invest our time being filled with the Spirit, and God’s word.

Its a choice.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
