What makes you think your faith is right and others aren't when there are thousands of beliefs just in this country alone who all believe differently and God says there is only one faith?? Which faith out of thosands is the ONE ???

I say question your own faith before you question others.

Christianity is different from ALL religions......you can’t “ decide”  to become a Christian  like you could decide to become a Buddhist or a Moslem....

Nobody  comes to the God Of Our Christianity unless he has been “ Drawn” by the Spirit Of our God.The initiative starts with God- NOT you! The Best and Only thing that YOU can do is Turn to God and ask Him to send the Holy Spirit your way and open your eyes.....you can't do it on your own.Presently, It appears that you are a part of that crowd that will “perish” because the Gospel of God is “ Foolishness to those that perish.”

If you continue to be God’s Critic and reject Christianity.....at least get your facts straight.... Christianity is NOT a religion to be chosen among many......Religions are just a bunch of rules to be followed.....Christianity has only two Rules— Believe and Love, and to even have the ability to do THAT is a Gift from God....try to muster up a little prayer ( make sure it is sincere) to let God give you the Faith to receive a Free Gift.....That is all Christianity is in the end.....does that sound like any other “ religion” you know about? You will be in my prayers....

If you believe that you have been “ misunderstood, why not try to change that misunderstanding and make yourself clear.....try to change some minds using Scripture if you really think you are correct and others are wrong .....fight for what you believe in....

Jesus is telling us that he and he alone decides who does and who does not enter the kingdom of heaven....

Romans 8 is so packed with the triumphant information about th eGlory of The Triune God that I do not think it wise  to simply except from it, instead I do think it best to post in it's entirety.

I do think it is the triune God, the fullness of the Trinity, that  is involved and solely responsible for enabling any of humanity to be saved out from destruction to then be with God eternally. It has  already been decided. God the Father God the Holy Spirit and God the Son Jesus who came in flesh to serve His Father have made it so. That is the way I read it within the entirety  of Paul's explanation within the Letter to the church at Rome as has been separated out to be titled Romans 8 in most Bibles of today.

Romans 8 English Standard Version (ESV) Bible Gateway

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.  For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,  in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.  For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.  For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.  For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.  Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.  For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.  For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.  For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”  The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,  and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.  For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope  that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.  And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.  For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?  But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.  For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.  And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?  Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.  Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So, what will be the punishment for those who genuinely never heard the gospel or never had a chance to hear?  Eternal flame?  Eternal death?  Second chance purgatory?  I personally do not believe in literal eternal hell fire.  I believe as the Bible says that hell will produce eternal destruction of sin and then hell itself will be cast into hell.  No sin or sinners will be left in the universe.

The bible tells us in Romans that God has made Himself and His righteousness known to ALL. He has also made known to all humans of how we are to conduct ourselves. We all have within us, the knowledge of right and wrong. Because God has put this knowledge in EVERY individual's heart. Sin/evil is NOT a person, it is a wrong deed, action or thought that goes against Gods laws and character. People will not be sent to hell for what they do not know, but because of disobedience to God's will which tells us to not sin. God also has given ALL mankind the knowledge that they will one day be judged. So that no one is without excuse.

Matthew 25 : 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Mathew 13 : 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.  They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13 : 49, 50 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous  and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Romans 6 : 23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Thessalonians 1 : 8, 9  He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.  They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might

Revelation 21 : 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Revelation 20 : 12 - 15  And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.  The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.  Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.  Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

That's okay.

Someone said Jesus decides who goes to  heaven. I think it was other one, maybe not. I simply disagree and posted the reason why from Romans 8. That someone doesn't see it is okay by me. I offer it for consideration to anyone that may read what Romans 8 states.

Do you think people of other faiths will be in heaven

On 1/28/2020 at 5:07 AM, Amigo42 said:

Do you all think people who were good people in life and lived up the knowledge of God they had will be heaven even if they didn't explicitly accept Jesus?  For example, Muslims, Hindus, etc.  Of course, I believe that all people must have Jesus, but others believe that God will give some sort of second chance.

No. Here's why.

John 3:16 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Matthew 7:21 21Not every ONE that saith unto me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

John 14:6 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Any further questions?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
