What happens when you fail to keep the Law of which you speak?

Everyone sins.. each day, each hour and the wages of sin is death.

ALL are guilty which should also confirm, whether before or after the Cross, sin exists and was not taken away (10 commandments), so EVERYONE will die UNLESS they place their trust and faith in Jesus- and He will pay the price for our sins. If one does not believe in the Messiah he / she will soon learn how the law will be applied to them (applied to ALL), but they will have to pay their own price for their sins- eternal death.

Well said

thats why in Galatians it says the law was a curse to us

we can’t keep all the laws there are over 300 laws yes 10 were singled out, but it goes on to say Christ is the curse breaker through him we gain forgiveness for sinning

The very word "sabbath" pronounced reminds me of a woman waxing her lips red inorder to hide the drought in her soul.

I'll rebuke that in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach and just let it sit... YeHoVah states the Sabbath is a delight.

You make a great point and all 300 laws were not meant for us. Most are for the Temple and the Priest. The ones that always applied to us are still in effect. The ones that used to apply to the temple now are Yeshua's. For He is our high priest. And if we don't obey even the few we were instructed to, how are we to be HIS priests in His Kingdom where we are called Priests and Kings?

There is another idea, that the law has not been done away, but it is no longer for the purpose of righteousness. If that were the case, however, then it would seem that the next question would be, "If the law is not for righteousness, then what is its purpose"? Would it not seem that the next logical step would be, that if the law is not for righteousness, then it is now "okay to sin"?

I guess this is what happens when you have Christians that are not born from above and have not experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit - doctrine without understanding that the gospel and New Testament discipleship are of the Holy Spirit.

The Law continues but is now written in our hearts and we fulfill the Law through our love of God and his righteousness.

And there is still no need to do the ordinances of the Law such as not eating "unclean" foods and observing Saturdays as a sabbath.

For in the Spirit Christ Jesus is our sabbath.

Praise God we talk about believe in Jesus Christ.. amen!  The ops post for me something is missing and with out it it fall flat.  For Paul or really the sweet holy Spirit made all this pretty clear. The Law..now unless I am wrong and I can be when Christ walked this earth they ALL were under the law. Christ had not died and rose.  He told them didn't come to get rid of it.. key words.. fulfil it. "We were held in custody under the Law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the Law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian". If its still binding then Jesus failed to fulfill it.

"yet we know that a man is not justified [and placed in right standing with God] by works of the Law, but [only] through faith in [God’s beloved Son,] Christ Jesus. And even we [as Jews] have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law. By observing the Law no one will ever be justified [declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty]."

Forgive me but this is not true "People who try to refute the Sabbath, in order to justify their disobedience, will say things like," Refute means "prove (a statement or theory) to be wrong or false; disprove.". Lol sorry.. I disagree with you and.. my Father knows its not disobedience.. thats what matters to me :) Maybe back it down a bit and remember its HIS word not ours..we don't tell HIS kids what HE really said. Oh we LOVE TO haha.. I do at times. I know I am not here to please man.  Praise GOD for this.. really nice reading.. I didn't read every page.

Also worth noting is that Moses did not enter the Promised Land but the children of Israel crossed the Jordan under the leadership of Joshua.

Luke 1:31  And lo, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bear a Son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

G2424  Ἰησοῦς  Iēsous
Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: - Jesus.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
