1 hour ago, WilliamL said:

You seem to miss that there will be a judgment at the Parousia of Christ, and another judgment at the end of the Millennium.

Just as there were a number of previous judgments, such as at the Flood and the Exodus, so will there be more that one future judgment. And just as there has been/will be more that one resurrection from the dead.

I don't believe I missed it.  Where is it? I know of

The HARVEST of the wheat and the tares but that is 'those who took the mark' FROM 'those who didn't'.

There is the feast for the birds 'of all the flesh of men from Kings on down to the slaves', the remnant slain by the sword.

There are the grapes gathered with a sickle and put in the wine press with the blood up to the bridles.

The sheep and goat, nations on the left and right,

but there don't seem to be any 'books opened' or 'receiving' of things done in the body at those separations.  Maybe you could expand upon your thoughts here.

I only know of the two 'resurrections' OF THE DEAD that are left, the one when Christ comes/returns/2nd Advent when both the just and unjust DEAD are resurrected out from the dead (who stand in judgment in 1000 years at the GWTJ judged by works and not faith) and after that when the sea, death and hell give up the dead.

Is there another resurrection out from the DEAD I am missing?

Do you believe there is anything in this chapter that has to do with that day of vengeance when the 'angels' are gathering all from one end of heaven to the other...and if so, could you point them out for me?

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body*** according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Do you see this as taking place before His feet touch the Mount of Olives or after?

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

*** Do you see that in any way relating to

37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
