First I LOVE the song playing "His Name" I am not sure what your asking.. I don't think the world will see the Church go up. I listen and try to look at how others believe and always wonder..when do I get to see the place He made me IN His Fathers house..you know where He is.  Yet no matter what.. if HE said it.. no matter what that will happen.

The apostles watched and witnessed Jesus’ ascension to be at the Father's right hand.

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

The enemies of God will see and watch the Two Witnesses ascend upward to Heaven.

Will the enemies of God watch and witness the ascension of the true church?

Hi Dennis,

I see your reasoning. Now I have some thoughts. Those who ascended were seen because God had a purpose for those looking. However I do not see that happening when we, the Body of Christ will be caught away.

We need to remember that some believers will be asleep in bed while others are awake during the daylight. Thus I know that when we are changed we will go through walls, roofs etc as Jesus` body was able to. So I see that we will be changed and go immediately to the Lord together.

Now here is an except from a prophecy at a church convention many, many year ago. I pray that it is encouraging to us all.

In Christ Alone.

 

The Lord says -

`It is not the towering ability of individual men that will bring the close of this dispensation to an end, but it will be the ripening, the moulding, the perfecting of a Body of People that will be peculiarly Mine.

There will be no possibility for `flesh` to glory, for all will be interwoven one into the other, and in the centre of them will be the fires of Divine Affection, in the centre of them will be the seeds of Divine Love, in the centre of them will be the deposit of the eternal Purpose of God;

Howdy Marilyn,

Hermeneutics is what it is, one person’s interpretation, reasoning, and thoughts. I formed my idea of what is said and not said in scripture. Thinking transformation of our bodies to glorification, being snatched up all at the same twinkling of an eye is also speculation and an assumption. We all picture things differently.

I do not overlook your and others’ thoughts, and I favored that view also for the longest time. I am not saying I am right, just what the Bible says and does not say about the Harpazo events. As with many, I sometimes take liberties in my way of thinking and interpretation of scripture. Sometimes, it is difficult to strictly stick with what the Bible says without inserting my preconceived notions.

I based this “thought” on precedent, biblical patterns, and examples. The biblical narrative does not say that we will be snatched up instantaneously in the twinkling of an eye, only our transformation from corruption to incorruption.

Yes, half the planet will be daylight and the other half nighttime, which indicates everything happens simultaneously.

I also cannot help but wonder if the verse about the coming of the son of man being like the lightning that shines from the east to the west means anything, or if that loud command at his coming, lasts for hours, of just briefly. However, I am one who believes that the harpazo is virtually simultaneous with his return at the second coming.

Have you ever seen a cemetery headstone not facing East? It is a very long tradition. Something else many do not consider when visiting a cemetery and looking at the headstones. Most have two dates, but it is not the dates that are important. It is that dash (-) between those dates. It represents our entire lives, what and who we believed in, how we lived our lives, did we produce any fruit?

We are now seeing official government soft disclosure, UAPs are real and pose an aviation and national security threat. Governments around the world have been investigating this for a very long time now, spending millions of dollars. 

As I mentioned before, the government created a 1,000-page report on cow flatulence and a whole nine pages on their UFO report. I think full disclosure is on its way, one way or another before long. We shall see?

Now you have me curious, makes me want to go to a few cemeteries. The only three which I have been to, where I recall the direction they were facing, they faced west in one, and toward the road in the center for the another cemetery and the third one they faced in every direction, they were arranged in rows of circular rings.
