Its symbolic. The Seals are not God's Wrath, the 7th Seal opens the Scroll which is where God's Wrath is pronounced so to speak. This is very, very important. Remember when God had to flood the whole world and only 8 (New Beginnings) people were saved? Well, it repented God that he flooded the world so He swore He would never do that again. But, God was grieving and sorry He had to flood the world. Likewise, this silence in Heaven by the hosts of heavenly beings is them not being joyous at the judgment that has to be brought against mankind, where billions of humans will be killed. They are in a somber mood, like going to a funeral, they are not happy that they have to judge these human beings because God loves every man, but alas a righteous Judge has to mete out righteous judgment. The 7th Seal BRINGS Gods Judgment and Wrath via an Asteroid Impact.

Rev. 10 matches this when one realizes there are only 7 (Divine Completion) Judgments (the 7 Trumps) not 21. The Seals are not Judgments, then we see the first Four Trumps which are just One Asteroid Impact in Four different Phases, and then we get the Three Woes (Rev. 8:13 says so) which is the last Three Trumps Sounding. The 7th Trump thus is the 3rd Woe, and the 3rd Woe is made up of 7 Vials that finish off God's Judgments or is the last portion of the 7 Trumps.

Now back to Rev. 10.

The 7 THUNDERS are the 7 Trumps. When the 7th Thunder is sounded, time will be no more [as we have known it under Satan] the earth at that point will be under Jesus Christs 1000 year rule on earth. John was told to eat this little book, he did so, and it was SWEET in his mouth (God's Judgment that brings us into Jesus' rule and into God's everlasting Kingdom) but very, very BITTER in his stomach (John saw billions of human beings being  judged and killed, that was bitter unto John). So, likewise, the humans being judged and killed was not a joyous occasion in heaven, once the 7th Seal was opened they knew Judgment was at hand, thus the silence in heaven was meant to show this as a sad sort of sorrows, but alas, God has to judge the wicked.

Yes, I agree when Satan is thrown from heaven with his fallen angels
Contrary to what people say, I believe this has not happened yet

it is future

Woe to the Earth!

30 minutes is an expression of time, not literal

Finally, heaven does not have to hear Satan gripe anymore, how peaceful it will be and quiet in heaven

In heaven which is Spiritual, time is different than how the physical realm sees time. The thirty minutes of silence in heaven following the opening of the seventh seal, is the significantly greater than 30 minutes physical time, that will be allotted mankind to acknowledge the truth about the cause for the calamitous events seen in preceding chapters of Revelation, that without mankind repenting from continuing, result in the plagues described in Revelation 8 & 9.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Just curious… is there any relationship between the 30 minutes of silence that will take place in heaven at that time with any of the steps / events that are found on earth during the annual Day of Atonement (Yom Kipper)?

Is there any kind of pause the high priest might have to do before or after he enters the Holy of Holies?

Does he spend any “purposeful” time with the “scapegoat” before he sends it out into the wilderness?

I do not believe it has any direct correlation with Yom Kipper. The direct relationship is with the things mankind makes with his hands which he loves, which the Lord is giving mankind time to repent of doing, but doesn't.

Hi Charlie,

It could be:

Jesus has left the building, so to speak, at the end of the sixth seal. When the seventh is open, heaven is awaiting the arrival of the Lord Jesus and the great multitude which no one could count (Rev 7:9). These are the resurrection and raptured of all who have put their faith in Jesus, all the way back to Adam.

"There will be silence before You, and praise in Zion, O God"....... Ps 65:1

The silence is before God the Father..... and praise in Zion as they see the Lord Jesus.

Or:

The seventh seal is broken and Jesus reads the judgments that are going to be poured out on the earth dwellers.

That is a symbolic `half an hour, revealing the heart of the matter - when the 7th seal is opened. That signals when the Lord leaves heaven and comes in power and great glory to bring vengeance upon the rebellious and deliverance for Israel. (Rev. 19: 11_

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
