Has anyone read the book, "23 Minutes in HELL" by Bill Wiese?

If so, did you find it credible?

My husband and I read it. There are quite a few questions that come up....why would God allow a Christian to enter Hell? The author seems very sure of what he saw and felt. I know for a fact that I don't want to go there!

I have a friend who was a non-believer. One day he had a vision of Hell and after that gave himself to the Lord. He is very strong in his faith now. We never have sat down and talked about what he saw, but it sure changed his life. I gave him this book to read but I haven't heard back from him as to whether or not it was like what he saw. I'll have to contact him to see if he read it.

I haven't read it but I have the CD of him talking about it. I also happen to have a CD about the hole in Russia that was dug in the late 70's...

For those who haven't heard about it, the Russians in the late 70's were digging what they thought was a new oil well....and they went down several thousand feet and heard something strange. They dropped a microphone down the well, and what they heard chilled them to the bone....they heard screaming, in several languages. What some believe, is that they managed somehow to pierce Hell.

I have this particular piece of soundtrack on my computer, and can burn a CD out of it. It was given to me by a friend who's pastor played it in his church, and thousands of people came to Christ afterward. The first part of the track is all in Spanish, and I don't know Spanish but it's obvious from the tone of the man's voice that he was quite upset (to say the least) when he heard this.

If anyone wants this I can send it to you. Just email me and let me know. It's quite terrifying. At one point I was trying to figure out if someone had made this up, so I went to the sound experts at our church. They said that there's no possible way to make this stuff up, not even with backward masking. My Pastor has a copy of the CD. It is quite terrifying.

The person that gave it to me said that he wants to use it to bring his fellow Hispanics to the Lord. I agree, but it should be used for everyone. Hell IS real. There have been several people who have gone to Hell and came back in time to accept Jesus. I know of at least 3 firsthand accounts.

I read it and, yes, I did find it credible. I've also seen a t.v. interview on CNN, Fox, or one of those, and his account seemed very genuine. I have never forgotten his description of utter despair. It made a lasting impression on me.

no i had not heard of this book or this person but i am joting this down and wil be geting it for my self threw our christian book shop

yet i can only share why i am so open and why i take this so seriouse as when i was shaken up in 2001 i had a dream of what hell looked like if i was to continue on the path i was as i got to a point in my life after every one turning their back on me in my old church to wear i hated every single person that i new i even got to the point wear i got rid of every thing i had that was my bible my christian cds and worship songs and folders and threw this al in the tip

i even said out loud i would rather go to hell than have me saying you are lord over my life

the dream i had realy scared me at first i could not stop thinking about the dream for over say a month before i decided to walk back and re comitt my life to god

and i hope no one who reads what kari left goes on the same path as i was on to wear i was openly mocking everything christ did for me on the cross

i was shakking very bad i was even crying as i do not do this with the normal dreams i have i wake up feeling very good

yet this dream and what i saw i new it was god also i learnt a lot of people wear praying for me as wel in my old church

so please if i ever respond to a post i am only sharing from the heart as i care for the lost souls that do slip like i did

and i hope i was able to share hear in this post to what happend to me

I read about the well being dug in Time Magazine when it came out years ago. I went back to find it later, but never could.

I'm not good on micro fish files.

There are many documented cases of people seeing, hearing, visiting hell, in one form or another. It can't be ignored. It is sad that

it is the evil that can chase us to God, but, it is better to get to Him that way than no way at all. Too many don't experience the goodness of Him

that would lead them to repentance as mentioned in Romans.

And, whoa.. thank God for the dream of hell that brought damo1 back. Praise the Lord
