Do you think people of other faiths will be in heaven

Do you all think people who were good people in life and lived up the knowledge of God they had will be heaven even if they didn't explicitly accept Jesus?  For example, Muslims, Hindus, etc.  Of course, I believe that all people must have Jesus, but others believe that God will give some sort of second chance.

Hi, I do not see where my Bible nor the Holy Spirit indwelling within me leads me to understand that my goodness makes me  acceptable to God.

I am condemned, as all are condemned, by God. None are perfect, which is the standard of God. So all have fallen short of  the glory of God and are unworthy on their own merits.

God is perfect. He will not, cannot, look upon nor tolerate sin. Doesn't matter what faith, nor how much faith, a person has. So it is not faith of a person that saves, but Jesus alone, His faith and His shed blood alone. Without the Shed blood sacrifice made by Jesus all will die condemned to separation and destruction  by God.

Jesus  is the way, the truth, and the life. It is by the sacrifice made by Jesus alone that anyone is saved from the just  wrath and punishment of sin against God by Adam. Every person is born into the consequence of that sin, long before they know of religion, any religion.

It is by Jesus alone that anyone is to be saved out from the consequence of God's just wrath against this fallen creation.  Condemnation is not earned it is inherited! Salvation is not earned, it is given by God alone through Jesus alone! And by no other way.

Those that deny Jesus is Lord, God, and their personal savior, are not saved out from destruction under the wrath of God upon his fallen creation. Even that calling out is by God alone, for it is God the Holy Spirit that first convicts each individual of their sin and calls each to turn about to Jesus as Lord and savior.

There is no other way to salvation. No merit badges, no alternative thinking nor reasoning. It is by God alone through Christ alone when called by the Holy Spirit alone. Each person merely accepts or denies God's call. There is no merit in that, but there is salvation in accepting God's love extended through God the Holy Spirit.  It is a gift from God.

That's the way I see it.

For some strange reason, I couldn't give you a well said check, so I will do it in a post.  There is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved besides Jesus Christ.

Here is what Jesus says about this.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Jesus told us that no one comes to the father except through him.....      that is not some ritualistic thing that he gives us to have to be saved although the Bible does tell us of things to do to be sure you are saved.....

However, Jesus is telling us that he and he alone decides who does and who does not enter the kingdom of heaven....   and I would wager that none of us should be telling him how to do that or to limit who he wants to be there....   Since he knows our hearts and how we will fit in with the Kingdom, I think we should leave that up to him.

I can only tell you what I know to be true.

God IS giving "other people" [Muslims, etc] a FIRST chance right now.  There are many reports flooding in that can be and have been verified of Muslims being drawn by God in dreams and miraculous events.  There are Muslims right now, in Iran, being saved by the scores and scores.  It's like nothing I've heard of in the U.S.

Let's don't discount God's tremendous love for all people and his ways, which are not our ways, of reaching all people.

Our Bible is crystal clear to the way of Salvation as described and quoted in posts above. Faith, belief and trust in Jesus Christ alone. What He alone did for us, whom He says He is, and what He is going to do for us.

Hi, Might it be comforting to think upon God knowing all along? He knew that each He has given to His son will be called by the Holy Spirit, turn about from sin against Him and bow before Jesus  His Son as their Lord and savior. For as we each know it is Jesus' shed blood that has saved, -His work alone.

The wonder for me is to kinda see that God knew, He foreknew and He also predestined. It has all been known to God from before the beginning. It has been known to God before the beginning of me. How awesome, how secure are those whose names were given to Jesus by His Father. And Jesus loses not a one of us. He is the good shepherd that gives His life for the sheep of His fold.

Many, many people are born, live and die, never hearing the name Jesus, Emmanuel, Christ, Yeshua, etc.
What does God say about those people. Verses below we might consider.

 For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.  For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified.  For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.  They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them  on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.   Romans 2, 12-16
I'll let Jesus do the judging........God's ways are not mans ways.
