In first time I prayed, I felt something good in my heart but next times, something prevented the same feelings, and when I was active in reading Gospel, something prevented me for that I take 2 days or three days until I decide to read Gospel again.

When u feel prevention, you attack my brother, and you now will read 3Xs as much as before the prevention. How big is your spiritual appetite? Bc you will be fed till you are full, but for me I was like you, except much worse indulging fully in a sinful life, then temporarily run Back to our Father, He chastised me for 3 years AFTER He truly immersed me in His Ruach haKodesh, the 4th year I was so sick of myself and scared of losing my life to prison for 20 years, and even attempted to Kill another man during the years of chasteneth! Oh I was sooo much a slave to Egypt. So in that 4th year I was left with a destroyed soul, and I soo wanted righteousness in my life! But I knew I was sooo unworthy, but It came to me to start searching for all His ultimate truths, and things started being revealed to me like never before, and became addicted to learning His ways, then in the 5th year before I knew it, I was truly changed from the inside out! I gained a serious Love for Muslims, and would cry when I seen people coming To Elohim thru the Messiah! This is a man who can not cry! Doing these things, and then I Started WANTING to keep all His ways and Laws and Rejoice in His Kingdom! PRAISE YHWH YAHUDAH, I AM SAVED FROM EGYPT(SIN)!

But before I got to this point the devil would attack me, and I would be soo depressed bc I had fallen into sin again as I was trying to live correct, then I GOT MAD.AT haSatan! And I said you wanna fight me! U think this stupid drug or one night of drinking will stop me! Watch me pray 50xs more watch me read 100xs more of His word haSatan are you a fool,,I wiil CRUSH YOU WITH HIS WORD. And it worked my brother.

May u be blessed brother!

I prayed to Jesus and reading Gospel, I found difficulties that someone prevents me, but you see no body, it's not devil, from my background in Islam I know how demons work.

Just trust Jesus only, the enemy will come to try you a different gospel ,don't listen to that voice,Jesus Christ is Lord and there is nobody like Him! Put your trust in Jesus only ! :) Not in Allah or anybody else ...

John 14:6

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Many of us 'Christians' have more in common than we realize or want to admit; I fall into the same boat so to speak.

God's children are commanded to spread the good news of the Gospel and not be timid. I have failed miserably. A brief personal testimony if I may:

I'm not ashamed to know and admit Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and He is the power of my Salvation. I believe every jot, tittle and word of the Bible. I can't recall the number of times I was given the privilege and opportunity to share the Gospel with family, friends and strangers. I was scared and concerned of what they would think of me, drive a wedge in our relationship or run them off. I'm not well spoken verbally, and that's no excuse whatsoever. I am still learning my Bible and growing bolder by the day now, but that's sill no excuse for not sharing the Gospel message of Jesus. One day soon I'll be standing before Jesus and giving an account of my inaction's, and more or less being a 'closet Christian'. Can you imagine the shame and embarrassment I'll be facing? And what of those lost souls I was given the opportunity to witness to???

When I write my children and family now, I now share my faith and how Jesus has changed me and my life, and slip in a Bible Salvation tract in the letter also. When they visit, I'm hopeful they see what a change Jesus made in me. No more cursing, watching inappropriate TV, getting drunk every or every other day, going to church every time the church doors are open, trying to give the Lord preeminence in everything I do. Maybe by example they will see the power and love of Jesus in my new life?

It makes me sick to my stomach and my soul, how many unsaved family members, close friends and acquaintances have passed away; and I didn't even share or mention the Gospel to them, having the opportunity to do so, and their now eternal fate. It hurts deeply and I'm so ashamed. In the not to distant past, I've heard a little voice in my head saying, "go over to someones house and visit with them, and take your Bible and share the Gospel with them". These were friends and acquaintances of mine with terminal illnesses on their death beds. I thought to myself, I will, tomorrow or the next day. Shortly thereafter they passed away and I never got around to going over and sharing the Gospel with them. Yeah, some loving and caring Christian I am...

The beginning of the end? Hmm Been that way since Christ went up. :)

I truly wonder if we.. ME really truly know Christ is the only way. If we really truly know all are lost if they never hear about Christ. I pass people ever day. I KNOW that moment could be their list time on earth. School, work, store you name it. Graham.. no matter what you think. what I just LOVE is no matter what that guy goes.. no matter what show.. YOU WILL HEAR Jesus came died for you..loves you.

There really is so much more to this "salvation" then we know. Well Christ rose... AMEN!! WOOT! yet He walked this earth for 40 days. Not in the streets.. not talking to thousands. Were not ALL those around Him and in those others cities and nations going to be LOST forever? I truly believe its far easier to be saved than lost. Why? Its man thats telling me this not God.  God left heaven.. became His creation.. took ALL the sin past now future.. I really think He cares more then ANY one. See there is no LUCK in heaven. I do not believe any one will stand before God saying "a no one told me. SO and SO over there.. never told me". No.. those that (for give me Father) are lost made the choice.  What Gods going to tell them... "you should have know "THAT GROUP" had the REAL TRUTH!". And what GOD only shows Muslims a dream a vision of Him ?

This is HIS creation. I was like 15 or so when I asked.. it hurt to think all those people..how can you send all those people to hell? This and GOD as my witness is what He said "For God so loved the world. Everyone gets a choice". Think.. HE will make sure you KNOW which way.. and ALL will make a choice. We know how many .. millions of millions are blind. Did He not say.."if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains".

Just repent and do the best you can. Let HIM guide you.. ask HIM to speak through you. Let HIM lead guide you.. for He NOT US . not anything we say.. its HIM that draws them So let HIM lead you to those that want to hear. I remember at like 17 I think.. talking to this young kid in my house.. he said at 1st  what I was saying was really boring lol. but then he said.. he really wanted to listen..the holy oh the HOLY SPIRIT drew him.. lead Him to Christ.. not me. Its always HIM! I wish cry I had tons of those stories.. I don't.

The way to help a person come to want God, is by you realizing that all people want to be helped,  feel loved, feel appreciated, and they want to feel they have a home.

"For God so LOVED, that He Gave His Son", = to all who need help,  want to be loved, appreciated, and who want to have a home.

That's everyone.

Salvation is the universal offer of help, hope, love, and home., that also pays for their SIN.

Everyone wants all that who is SANE, and when you present God's love, as those things, you are telling the truth that everyone will want to hear.

The Gospel is Good News.   Its the good news that God has come to us as Jesus, to give us help, hope, love, and a home.....and eternal forgiveness.

A spirit of evangelism, that is to say.., to reach the world with God's love, is not about beating them with a bible, or trying to shame them into a guilt trip conversion.

Sometimes, its just as easy as asking someone if they have anything in their life that is a real issue, and then they tell you they do, and you say, "can i pray for you"..

They dont even have to share it.

Then say a simple prayer,  "Father, thank you for helping ....jim, pam, don, larry, paul, steve, george, etc... with this issue so that it is resolved quickly and perfectly.... and thank you for LOVING THEM, in Jesus's name i pray, amen".

Just like that...   You can do it anywhere you have a moment of someone's time., that does not embarrass them.   As we are not to reach them so that we can feel self righteous about it.......this is not a "look at me", type of connection.

This person will probably say.....>"wow, most people that tried to talk to me about God, told me i needed to REPENT.....TURN OR BURN"......., BUT YOU DIDNT.   Why is that?

See what has happened to their previously closed HEART?   That is God.  That is God's love doing what it does....It warms hearts.....

Then you say....."well, its because God is love, and He wants us to be a part of his family, so much, that He sent JESUS"................ then you share what God means to you and what He has done for you., as that is WITNESSING.

See that?

Work on that..

I am awful talking, writing..should never say sorry haha. I guess its just I always wondered about this. You grow up in the Church and then  Radio/TV.. then its TV/Internet and your told or at least I always heard "you could be the only Christ they will see".  Like "if you don't say something they are lost forever".  So maybe I just don't see something with Jesus during that 40 days. Never was in a rush.. never "turn or burn (forgive me Father)".

"A Child can understand".. so true huh. We get to say 70+ years old and..duh I know it all know. Know the bible Hebrew /Greek pray fast. WOOT I wonder if God just laughs and says "how cute". Its so easy a child can understand.. amen

Hi Ahmed,

The Holy Ghost coming upon you when you are saved is the peace that comes knowing the burden of your sin is lifted off of your shoulders and forgiven by the Blood of Jesus at the Cross. This is why the Dove is associated with the Holy Ghost, and with peace in our world. Have You felt this Peace, when you were saved? If Yes, then the Holy Ghost is in you.

As You walk in faith He will guide you and convict you and sanctify you, cleanse you from the inside out, Not just forced obedience to a law but obedience that springs from the heart. He enables us to love as Christ Loved us, and that is with Agape Love, as opposed to the love that needs something in return.

After You have been saved for some time, the Holy Ghost will come upon you in Power and give you gifts that you can serve God. For some Christians this comes at Baptism, for some it is seen as a separate baptism of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is just an outward sign of an inner conviction, a time when you are pronouncing to others your faith In the death burial and resurrection of Christ. Coming from a Muslim background this may be a hard thing for you to do, I do not know your situation per se, But do not think you do not have the Holy Ghost if you have not been baptized, or that you must be baptized to go to heaven.

God Bless

“No man can say Jesus is Lord without having the Holy Spirit in Him”

“ If you will confess me before men, I will confess you before My Father”

I hope that you can Take comfort in these verses.....God bless...

Yes it is, and the Lord intended it that way. In fact:

Matthew 18:3 (KJV) And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

In part, I believe what Jesus is referring to here. Little children normally completely trust and depend on their father. They believe every word of what their father tells them and normally obey. I don't know about other generations, because I've only lived in this one, but... Many little children today seem to question their parents judgment and rebel, throwing tantrums and fits to get their way? If that's true, it seems to be unique to this generation?  < question mark.

Hi mabel,

That is wonderful to come to that realisation of true repentance and be confident of your salvation. May I suggest that we are a `body` and as such each has different parts to do. I see you as one that alerts the other members of the Body to false teachings. You also don`t spout religious jargon. I know personally how helpful you have been to me in regards to my blogs. You ask such great questions and thus the topic is opened up further.

So just know the God is working through you and that you are effective in the Body.

your friend, Marilyn.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
