Yesterday I got to the market....full of people, shelves nearly empty, many in check-out lines.   No toilet paper and paper products.

I managed to find one can of pineapple.   Did find a supply of crackers, popcorn and cookies.   Got cream cheese and almond milk, cat food.

However, the market wouldn't let me buy the frozen meals I needed at checkout!   They only let me buy six.....which won't last long for two people!

So last night I went to the Asian restaurant a half block away.     Got 3 dinners, take out, (eating in is now banned here).   The Asian food will last  only couple of days.    But I'm trying to stretch the frozen dinners.

After yesterday at the crazy market, I'm resting today.   But must get to the bank for cash soon.    A couple of neighbors offer to get something for us sometimes....but I need cash for them.

Our mayor told seniors to stay inside!!!   But I have to go out to get food and cash.

My mom gets Meals on Wheels (lunch) five days a week.   I tried to get on them this morning....but the lady says they are being bombarded.   They need to review all requests.   So for now, only my mom has a guaranteed lunch for five days a week.

My neighbor, Will, stopped to check on us.   He walked to Subway Sandwich for us.   So that footlong will last mom for dinner tonight and tomorrow.    Thank God for a few neighbors that care....we have no family here.

Threads like this are more destructive than instructive despite the statement of being well intentioned.  Bad news spreads faster and easier than good news which is human nature.  God asks us to NOT give in to our nature and instead show the power of God.  Instead of a thread about shortages, there should be threads about giving, resourcefulness, sharing, self denial, confidence while looking at the future instead of today.  Instead of highlighting the shortage of hand sanitizer in the stores, there should be home recipes for making your own:

  • 2/3 cup 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol
  • 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
  • 8-10 drops essential oil, optional (such as lavender, vanilla, peppermint or grapefruit)
  • Bowl and spoon
  • Funnel
  • Recycled liquid soap or hand sanitizer bottle

Directions:

Mix the ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon. Use the funnel to pour the liquid into the empty bottle.

Instead of a thread about shelves being empty, create a thread on how my cup is full and over flowing.

You are free to start a thread of your own and place whatever your views are.  I did what I think is important for people around the world to know what is actually happening in their own community and share it with us.  Things are moving at a very fast pace and it is good to know how others are managing to keep safe and stay healthy .

It has nothing to do with bad news good news, but the truth of what is actually happening.  Mainstream media would show very little of what is taking place in communities and as we have brothers and sisters here who actually are real witness, then we can see how people are managing with their shopping and what is actually taking place.  This is worldwide and people here are real witness to tell them as it is.

Hope you not thinking like the communist and withhold information from the people.  It must me shared and truthfully.

I was on Amazon today thinking about purchasing a few items. Until I seen the inflated cost, and especially shipping; the shipping was as much or more than the items. In stock items shipped only one way; arrival between the middle of April or May. Go figure...

Here in Toronto, our government is doing as they said they would in terms of the availability of goods and services.   Though last week was like a mad rush for mainly dry goods, the grocery today was restocked with most items, not all of the same brands, but enough that there is no lineup and it's like normal shopping.  This is the update from my area, hope it is not destructive information.

Amen.  The lover of truth (and loving the truth is THE vaccination against deception in this hour), will strive to understand the facts.  If the facts alarm someone, the problem is not with the facts.  I would also argue that looking forward and beginning to discern what the facts are telling us about our future is going to become very, very important.....it already is.

It's been interesting to observe how many are resisting any attempt to look at the facts, not only refusing to do so themselves, but trying to keep others from doing so?    There is a necessity for some very deep emotional adjustment and many are struggling with that....I get it.  That's human, but we who are exhorted to LOVE the truth, should get through that phase rather expeditiously.

When we can begin to get past that fear of change, and get well established in a profound "situational awareness" (which requires searching out the facts, understanding the new reality unfolding around us) we will be ready to begin asking  "What is the LORD'S purpose in allowing this to come on us?"

And there is where we need to focus, and soon.  And all the while keeping abreast of unfolding reality....so we can understand the context, the battlefield we are called to fight on, and the enemy trying to resist His will and plans.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
