Can you please tell me who the 24 elders are who sit on thrones in Rev 4:10 if there has been no rapture and all the redeemed are still on earth or dead? Who is this group?

Paul, as well as the other apostles, went "to be with the Lord" upon his death. In heaven.

2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

You are giving Daniel 9:24-27 your own translation. Not what God has intended.

You are ignorant of the Hebrew language and grammar. And you set yourself up as an authority?

I always wondered about  how lost confused all the believers where before the NT was here. They didn't have us to tell them the real truth huh :)  Just playing. Yet there is truth.

All  one has to do is picture you back there and this son of God that everything He did and say came to pass. As oh wonderful awesome by the sweet holy Spirit our brother Peter said..  "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life". So He tells us He is going back to His Fathers house to make us a home/place so where He is we will be and will come back for us and if it was not so He would tell us. So where I am He said we will be also. Now back then they would fully understand this just look into a old Jewish wedding.

So then we are all standing and He goes up. So can I have a raise of hands (all the ones standing watching) who here believes knows He will be coming back any moment to get us? He just told us the other day He is going back where and how we know and that He will come back to get us. He never said at the end or any moment. I would have great joy knowing Hes coming back!

Remember this is all they had. What some heard Him say or someone that heard tell them what He said. I don't think most maybe any had a copy of the Torah with them :) So they  were all wrong because they didn't have 1st Thess or Col or Corth or Rev to back up what they believed? So they were what wrong off but we today .. duh we know the real truth. Before Christ came they knew the Torah inside and out yet were blind. But not us.

I just try to toss out what anyone says then look at whats written. Knowing its written to me but also to whom. Then I was not promised tomorrow but was promised 70 years (not the same thing). I can see post and per and mid yet I can't find it clearly written. So what do I do then? Follow some group of people? No.. He is coming.. Caught up will happen. So I am ready now. Going all the way back.. I know He's going to keep His word so WHERE He is I will be not where I am He will be.

Ch 1-3 of Revelation is speaking of Churches in existence at the time of John the Revelator. They existed at that time and at those locations and known to John. They are not churches currently. Ch 4 -22 are future events.

But, where and when do the 24 elders some to be dressed in White and sitting on the thrones around God the Father and Jesus in Ch 4?  It is one of the first events that we see in Heaven. White is the clothing of righteousness given to the Bride. How do they end up on the 24 thrones?

Answered already in the scriptures given.

They cannot be in heaven because all sleep waiting the rapture. Only those who in the OT kept the commandments or after Jesus’ death accepted/accept  Him as their redeemer will be resurrected/caught up to be part of the Bride. Only one man was taken to heaven and that is Enoch. Until the Jesus comes for us, all OT saints and those who accepted Jesus sleep/wait for the shout or trumpet sound to call us to meet Jesus in the air and go with Him. THAT trumpet is not one of the trumpets of Revelation.

Well perhaps it would be best if we agreed to disagree because we can't seem to reach an agreement.  God's blessings.

It will not be a physical sighting, but a "eye of the Spirit" sighting. Because, for example, the dead will see Him too; as well as living miners and submariners and supermax prisoners etc.

I found your posting very interesting.

I want to hear more.

Would you please.

But, there has been no resurrection of the patriarchs of the 12 tribes of Israel nor have the 12 apostles been resurrected. They are all, the 24, still asleep in the graves. So when dies their resurrection occur?

Perhaps in Eternity ,where there is no boundaries of time these are things far beyond our comprehension..... No past,no present,no future,I can't imagine living in an infinite real....... We might be the only ones existing with the restraints of " time"

Jesus Did Say to the Apostles He Couldn't possibly explain the Heavenly things because they don't even understand this world...... a day is like a thousand to the Lord& a thousand like one day

We are waiting in " time", don't think me crazy but I've often considered in the Heavenly Realm is might already BE.     Glory to God,His Ways are not our ways ❤️

Amen, Kwik. I cannot prove it exactly by scripture, so I am not dogmatic about it, but when I think of where Paul wrote "to be absent from the body is to be present with the LOrd"--this is what he meant. We sleep and as scripture says, the dead know nothing, at the resurrection, it is as if no time has passed.

The amazing thing about our Heavenly Father is that, as His name speaks of Him, I Am,  He is in the past, in the present and in the future. A concept we will only understand when we get to heaven. The comforting thing is that He is in our past and yet loves us and forgives us if we ask regardless of how undeserving we are. He is in our present and understand our circumstances and failures and loves us. He is in our future and will guide us safely and continue to walk with us if we trust our future to Him. Just trust each day to Him. Remember, as a born again Christian, nothing  happens without His permission.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
