:D

I graduated High School in Japan. Dad was in the Military. I was going to college at Auburn University. Got bumped from a commercial passenger jet and was put on a cargo flight to Seattle. 12 hour flight. I spent half of the flight in the cockpit with the Co-Pilot. Landed in Seattle and had to get a ride with an Airman in a jeep to the passenger terminal. I saw a bank of TV's, coin operated, with a connected chair. Dropped about 4 quarters in the slot and watched for about ten minutes. Got my book, went and found a place to hide for my flight six hours later. TV was as boring to me then as it is now.

Nothing but meaningless background noise.

Honestly, I would continue to watch as I like to know what is happening around me.

Then pray for the deceived and to provide strength for the brethren.

The big issue should be if all the loved ones went missing and I was left behind... Then, if Jesus showed up it would be too late to say, "Forgive me for my sins."  Otherwise these are false Christs.

With all my ❤️ I believe rapture is a false doctrine.

headline story was, “Jesus has returned!

Jesus's return will be momentous. The bible says ' every eye will see him' He will return with the host of heaven and while people debate about whether people will rise up prior to his return or durring or what ever. We are also told that those who are not his will be terrerfied, calling on the rocks to hide them!

So I doubt whether the news media etc will be very effective in reporting his return.

Which means any news program that is pontificating about his return is reporting false news.

I would listen/watch for the entertainment.

I hope you will carefully consider the Word of God, David.

2 Thes. 2:1
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him

(2) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Now, has the second advent of Jesus Christ already come to pass?  No, it has not come to pass.

Just a little more information regarding the "man of sin," who is the "son of perdition” that must first be revealed. Who is this "son of perdition," this "man of sin?”  It is Satan.

“A derivative of the Greek term "apollumi," which means to completely demolish, die, or perish, is "perdition”

Apollumi, pronounced ap-ol-loo-mee, is a Greek word that means "to completely destroy," either literally or figuratively. It is derived from the Greek letters apo (575) and olethros (3639);

In Rev. 9:11, Satan is referred to as "Appollyon," the active participle of the Greek word "apollumi."

Rev. 9:11

And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

The great apostasy IS the falling away.  When the antichrist appears here on earth, many people will be deceived.  They will worship this antichrist as the true Christ (again, this is the great falling away).

Selah

I agree with some of this.

I agree that the second advent of the Lord has definitely not yet come to pass!

I also agree that the "falling away" is "the great apostasy".

I agree that the anti-Christ deceives many people, who worship him as if he were the true Christ.

--------------

I don't agree that the "son of perdition", or the "man of sin" is Satan, although he is probably possessed by Satan.  The term "son of perdition" is applied to two people, in the Bible:

1) Judas Iscariot (the anti-apostle, who was a greedy thief, liar and traitor to the Lord).  The Bible says that Satan entered him, before he betrayed the Lord.

2) The anti-Christ, who is also a man, not only opposing the Lord, but also taking his place (which the Pope does).  One of the Pope's titles of blasphemy is Vicar of Christ, which means "Instead of Christ" (i.e. anti-Christ).

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
