To all my brothers and sister and members ,

I'm a member for many years and got to know some of you very good and we have some very good conversations with each other over the past years.

When I signed up for Worthy there was a different spirit and do I dare to say that we could see the Holy Spirit working in Worthy in a powerful way?

The owner George was very involved with what was posted and helped people understand the truth wherever he could,I don't know what happened but we see him only very little anymore on the forum.

We used to have a forum which was a pleasure to be on and a pleasure to communicate with fellow brothers and sisters.

I would like your honest opinion ,what do you think happened over the years?

How could we make this forum again as it ones was?

Or is this a signs of the times that love grows colder?

Please let us know how we can all help to revive this forum with Gods help.

My hope is in the Lord alone.

God Bless ,Angels

I have only been active for the past year or two.  I have no point of comparison for what it used to be like.  But, I will say so much has changed in the world.  George is still here in Prayer, new membership, Daily Briefs and Devotions.  Remember that he and his family lived in Israel.  Look at Israel now with all of its turmoil.  And, because of that the Whitten family is now in the States spreading the Word.  He asks if there are churches and groups that would invite him to come and speak.  That's up close and personal.

As members we can support him and fellow members with prayer and love.  We can spread the Good News.  We can be more respectful of each other in our gathering here.

Please do not be discouraged.  There is much that binds us and moves us onward and upward.

With Love Your SIC,

ITC

The more things change the more they stay the same implies that while the surface of life may change, what this site was founded on is still here :)

On my Israel trip I spoke at length with George. His vision for Worthy is still hot. But he has done a wise thing. He has stepped back a bit to cause the regulars to contribute. This is the principle of Ephesians 4. The new, the unschooled and the not-so-eloquent must share their walk with the Lord. Only in this way can we grow.

You are one of the experienced ones. Your school days wit George are over. You are a maturing worker now, and the responsibility (and the sweat that goes with it) has passed to you. We all need you and your experience gained over the years. And you have left childhood in spirit. Things look different, but all that has happened is that you now use, as tools, the things that excited you before. It's a good sign.

We all remember the thrill of our honeymoon with the Lord. But our walk with Him has earned us some scars. The Levite's duty was over at 50, but not the soldier. Joshua and Caleb were old men when they got covered in blood. But they were doing the Lord's great work. The Lord needs you now, and so do we.

We have to remind ourselves that there is no place that satan refuses to engage his warfare and uses all the tools to break and tear down walls and attacks the saints.  We cannot be ignorant of his devices and recognize his stratagems and stand firm in the word and be humble too.  Patience has to be worn as satan comes to wear down the saints.    If you think of despair, then you are giving in to his schemes and wiles.    Iron shapens iron and if the saints stand in the word and rebuke with the word instead of quick reaction of carnal ways, then divide and the rest would follow.

The world and all that goes on today, would have effect on people lives and some would bring it on the forum.   As long as the TOS is observed, then you the saint have to show your maturity with answers that reflects that.  If one does not have a contribution, then he has to stay afar until he is comfortable that he can contribute meaningful.

We have to always be reminded in a ever  changing world , that we still have this flesh that can make errors and find the place to say sorry where it is due and accept apologies ect.

This is what I think.

Right now we're in a particularly turbulent time due to politics. It's honestly kind of wild right now, and with that comes some very polarizing feelings. There's definitely been an unfortunate rise in the amount of trolls as well. There's a certain inevitability to that. As more and more people get internet access there's bound to be more people who are opposed to Christianity or are just bored and empty enough that stirring up trouble registers as a fun and worthwhile way to spend time.

I can't really speak for George, but he's always responded to private messages. I know from one such message that he's still paying attention. Something to keep in mind is that Worthy is more than just a forum. It's only one part of a larger ministry. At some point there's a need to delegate, which comes in the form of the oversight team, mods, and admins.

While the trolling and surge in divisive topics is certainly tiresome Worthy is still personally my primary go to place for Christian discussion and prayer. I hope it stays that way. I couldn't really say what happened. Decline tends to be gradual and stem from a variety of factors. To everything there is a season, though, so if there's a general consensus on the issues then maybe it's time to institute some seasonal policies.

In my own case I'd say the abundance of trolls and divisive topics in General Discussion, where I spend most of my time here, is the main killer of my enjoyment and desire to see what's going on. Just looking at the first page of General there's a whole lot that's political and/or seems like baiting. The threads in question span multiple pages, representing a lot of collective time and energy spent on them. Maybe it's time to more tightly moderate topics of a divisive and/or political nature. Make sure they stay out of General, put a temporary ban on them, less tolerance for trollish behavior. There's a variety of ways it could be handled.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
