  1. Thousands turn to the Lord amid the `Lockdown.` People have had the distractions of life taking away and now have time to reflect on what is important in life. A poll by the Joshua Fund found that over 40% of all respondents replied `yes,` we are experiencing a `wake up call` from God. 1 in 5 non Christians polled said that they were starting to read the Bible and Christian sermons on line to learn more about Bible prophecy and God`s plan for the future of mankind. They also are having more spiritual conversations with family and friends. Over 40% of Christians said that they were reading the Bible more and watching/listening to more teaching on Bible prophecy. Many evangelistic events have had amazing results. Over 100, 000 people from across the world indicated that they wanted to put their faith in Jesus after hearing the gospel message. Ever since the `shutdown,` viewership among the millennials has increased over 200%. I believe God I doing a work in our day amid earth`s horrors, and man`s plans. Let us continue to focus on the Lord, Who He is and what He is doing, and not on the virus.

  2. Another thing that is very interesting....this crisis has actually helped families to spend time together and do family activities. Also, people are being more appreciative and kind to others.... helping senior citizens to get groceries in, etc. Even government here in L.A. has gotten alot of homeless individuals that are ill or susceptible to the virus off of the streets.... getting them into motels or hotels. Things which should have been done before.

  6. Mark 5:18-20 parallel with Matthew 28:19-20 and Matthew 24:14 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

  7. I cannot BELIEVE I was a member on here when I was just a KID, got so many kind and uplifting responses, and then have never came back on until now. I haven't been on here in 15 years, because Ive mainly been on CF and been on and off forums through my life. But listen. This is what God did in my life. He delivered me from depression, anxiety, and self injury. I have been able to forgive my dad for the sexual abuse I endured. I am way closer to God then I was back then. And the more I leaned on Him through those difficult years, the closer I got to Him. I am completely free from self injury. I went into a Christian based program called Teen Challenge and graduated there after a year and a half. Then got some extra support from another program in Indiana. I havent self injured in over ten years now and am completely delivered from this and the shame attached from it. June I will be married for 5 years to a Christian man of God. I have a two year old daughter and am having a son due in July. I am on fire for God and so grateful for what He has done in my life. And the best part? He is still leading and guiding my path. A friend invited me on here. I forgot I joined way back, but knowing how I was searching in my teen years, I tried my old username first. And sure enough. Yep. Gave my life story on a forum of people I don't know. But I guess I am still pretty much an open person. But God bless ya'll and thank you for being such a support at that time. I was really searching for answers and freedom from childhood demons. And I am definitely grateful for where I am now. I hope to stick around some now! I really love the format and kindness from the people on here. And some pretty interesting threads.

  9. Proverbs 15: 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17-18, 28-29, 31-32, 33 The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping his eye on both the evil and the good. Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise. The lips of the wise give good advice; the heart of a fool has none to give. Whoever abandons the right path will be severely disciplined; whoever hates correction will die. Mockers hate to be corrected, so they stay away from the wise. A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash. A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better than steak with someone you hate. A hot-tempered person starts fights; a cool-tempered person stops them. The path of life leads upward for the wise; they leave the grave behind. The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking; the mouth of the wicked overflows with evil words. The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous. If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding. Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor.

  13. Pre existence of our souls is associated with Mormon beliefs and those whose who hold to reincarnation. There is no biblical support for this. No mention of the pre existence of souls can be found in the Bible. It is not taught in Scripture. The idea of this originates outside of the bible. To say otherwise, is to say that men are God's equal. What a ghastly thought !! We are NOT divine, nor were we ever divine.

  15. Yes and unless you know the other books you will miss very much of what the apostles refer back to and when they quote those other books. Some scholar (who I forget) has compiled a list of over three thousand references in the new testament to much of which is lost to us from the LXX and ancient (not rewritten) Hebrew texts. So if we do not see the seeds of references back to the Qumran scholarships and those earlier texts we are not well informed. Modern theology is sadly lacking. And to make sure this travesty stays in place, believers are frowned upon for reading extra canonical books. And so the charade continues. For sure, the Bereans and Yeshua and the apostles read it all. Example: "Long ago and in many ways..." says the apostle. From The wisdom of Solomon verbatim.

  16. As someone has said, find where they are 'at' and their current belief system and go from there. They are humans, so we must treat them as God's 'imagers' with kindness and compassion. Some we may come across have been marginalised by the 'church' or have been hurt deeply by a 'christian'. They know that people do 'stuff' to people, so we have to see it like the Lord would. Use an example of the woman at the well as a starter... Yeshua used stories to get truth across, who knows but this may be the ONLY chance for conversion this person has left - so use it wisely.

  17. Help them to understand that the grave is not their end, that its just the door to where they are going. Help them to understand that "God" wants them to be a part of his loving family, and sent Jesus for them to bring them Home. Ineedhugs, unbelievers have the idea that God is angry with them and wants to stop them from having any fun, any life... They see God as a heavenly Tyrant , harsh, who wants to sort of put them in a straightjacket and "make them behave".....this kind of Idea. So, when we help them see that God is a helper, a giver of a better life, .. that He actually LOVES THEM so much that Jesus has already died for them to not only forgive them, but to prove God's love for them......when you help them SEE that God is for them and....wants them.....wants them to be a part of His family,..then by showing them this you are showing them God's love for them, and that is what they need to SEE = and once they see God's LOVE, then they will often respond.

Spring day Day 30 of the Omer, Gevurah of Hod: Discipline in Humility Psalm One Twenty Seven:1-5, Exodus Sixteen:7-10 Psalm One Twenty Seven:1-5 1Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. 2In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for he grants sleep to those he loves. 3Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. 4Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. 5Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?" 8Moses also said, "You will know that it was the LORD when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the LORD." 9Then Moses told Aaron, "Say to the entire Israelite community, 'Come before the LORD, for he has heard your grumbling.'" 10While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the LORD appearing in the cloud. Humility must be disciplined and focused. When should my humility cause me to compromise and when not? In the name of humility do I sometimes remain silent and neutral in the face of wickedness? Humility must also include respect and awe for the person or experience before whom you stand humble. If my humility is wanting, is it because I don't respect another? 21. The bible teaches that God creates each person, including each soul. This does not mean their souls pre-existed, but rather demonstrates God's involvement in the creation of each human life, His omniscience, and His sovereignty. As important, each person created will exist forever. We often need to read the bible as a whole to get clarity of what was meant. Genesis 2:7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. Zechariah 12:1 he oracle of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Psalms 139: 13 – 16 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Isaiah 44: 24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,

  23. Perhaps you should reread Genesis 1-3 again. The scripture below is before the fall. Genesis 2:21-25 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

  24. People will react in a variety of ways. Personally, I understand how you feel. As for me, I will hold off going back at the end of this month---for a variety of health issues that are compromising. I have shared nothing publicly about them, but they are certainly ones I want to be careful of. It is not so much fear, but simply, common sense and reasonable caution to avoid unnecessary risks. The church I attend fully plans on adhering to the guidelines, but each individual must make up his own mind---without reprisal---what he believes God would have him do. God bless you.

  25. Hi OneLight, I agree with you. The word `throne,` indicates power and authority. And we know from God`s word that the Lord`s `throne` (power and authority) will be ON the earth, (David`s throne), IN the New Jerusalem, and then also IN the highest realm of God`s great kingdom. Does that mean the Lord actually sits on a `chair` in all those realms? Of course it doesn`t, however we realise that His power and authority will be in those realms when He has put down all other (rebellious) power and authority. The question then arises WHO is ruling WHERE? And that is the final `HOME` when all the lines are drawn from each group to their final inheritance. (if you know what I mean.)

  26. Hi @Amore_Amibo, I just need to clarify a few things for you. You see, I'm currently in a nursing facility. Not forever, I'm leaving pretty soon or so I've been informed. We have the Covid-19 here and a newly developed wing for it. Yeah, pretty scary thought. I'm more than concerned - all of us are. We have death statistics. Sad. But, when the signal is finally clear, all the people, activities, and services will return back to normal. Just like before it came invasively so. And that means church groups will feel safe to come back. I'm looking forward to a couple in particular. It will be terrific! These are today's thoughts. God bless. Shalom, David/BeauJangles

  27. This is a repost I just submitted in Prayer Requests. I would like our brothers to read it and add their thoughts. I'd like to express some heartfelt gratitude to our Worthy Sisters out there. They have been such an outspoken spiritual embracement of strength and fortitude to me. They show such virtue here throughout the evidence of presence here in each and every thread I read and contemplate upon. Their deep thoughts and beautiful souls shine forth like a beacon of light and life. Sometimes I can scarcely take in what a wonderful work they do here. You've all been just tremendous. I can't even begin to adequately express my feelings about their tireless labor here. Building the faith, keeping the encouraging words from the Lord on high held banners, and holding up the brethren here in prayer and edifying support. My goodness, it's fantastic! What would we do without you? Keep on marching for Jesus! God bless each and everyone of you. And thank you all, from the depth of my inner most being. ~ Beau

This to me means the fulfillment of Christ Jesus. It was His commandment to love another. When this isn't possible to express face to face, it needs to be said. Here at Worthy "social distancing" doesn't apply. I never run out! Once again for everyone! I'm not shy when it comes down to it. God bless you! Yeah, you could say that.

  30. Cool tech talk. Very interesting also. During my career as an analog audio/visual technician and multi-media specialist, I managed to get a good Yamaha stereo system for the department. Stack tower speakers, double cassette deck, and a great turntable component set up. Cost a thousand bucks. I took all the vinyl I had and duped them by remastering them all on Scotch 3M master studio cassettes. Still major and in popular demand for copying. CDs didn't have that capability yet, so that worked out well. They still have great spark to them and captured the rich warm vinyl sound. Very close to the pressings of the originals.

  31. no matter what you do though just playing a record lightly damages it... and the more it's played the less true signals come off of it.... the more one plays a record the less responsive the high frequencies are.... With magnetic tape it's the low frequencies are affected. Lucky for me when I was 14, i used my lawn mowing business to buy me a good 10 inch ampex real to real recorder.... and every time I purchased a new album the very first time it was played got recorded..... Thus, I have every piece of music that I have bought on tape.... and about 12 years ago I bought a commercial quality recording program for my desk top computer and spent months transferring those tapes to digital MP3 files. I did have to boost the base frequencies to get some of the 55 year old tapes back to their normal sound.... but with my 73 year old ear drums, it's not going to make that much difference. I have bought some CD's in the last ten years, but very few for it seems to me that there isn't any decent music been recorded since the mid 1980's and the best from 1955 to 1980... as of now i just checked and there is 2,027 songs about 15 gig all together. Oddly enough though I do like Little Richards music, I never bought one of his records...

Upheld the lord and the Apostles. Without them they would have been far less blessed. Over the years I seen a lot of sisters leave worthy and stop participating. It's always a loss I think. Like morning glory she was a blessing. But so many. I guess people get busy in other things too. But we are still bless. Also turtle two was a blessing. Some time people dont know how much they contribute. But David said it best.

  33. Keywords: God is light - If we walk in the light as He is in the light. In connection on the above "RHEMA WORDS" >>> Galatians 5:16-25 "Walking in the Spirit" I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

  35. 1 John 1: 5-7, 9 (KJV) and 1 John 1:5-7, 9 (NLT) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. ... If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. ... But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
