This opinion of Yeshua`, the Messiah of God, is INCORRECT! This stance on Yeshua` is NOT based on a true interpretation of the Scriptures; it is based upon a THEOLOGICAL BELIEF SYSTEM that is built upon FAULTY ASSUMPTIONS!

Look, you're starting with some faulty assumptions:

1. There are "lower heavens" and an "upper/higher/highest heaven."
2. "Glory" is referring to a PLACE, instead of a CONDITION!
3. Yeshua` is "the Maker of the Universe and the angelic realm!"

These are ALL based upon THEOLOGICAL RHETORIC, NOT upon the Scriptures! GET BACK TO THE BIBLE as your ONLY truth! SOLA SCRIPTURA!!!

Wow Retro, that is about the shortest post I`ve ever seen you do. :o

Anyway, joking aside I am glad you want scriptural proof.

Jesus is King of glory. (Ps. 24: 7 -10)

Jesus is King of Heaven. (Dan. 4: 37)

Jesus is King of the Ages. (1 Tim. 1: 17)

Jesus is the Kingpriest over other kingpriests, (The Body of Christ) (the highest realm) (Heb. 6: 20,  7: 1 - 3,  Rev. 1: 6,  3: 21)

Jesus is King over the New Jerusalem. (the lower heavens) (Rev.22: 1)

Jesus is King over Israel. (on earth) (Rev. 5: 5)

Jesus is King over Judah. (Rev. 5: 5)

Jesus is King over the nations. (Rev. 15: 3 & 4)

Yeah, I was tired and didn't have much time left for all that was in my heart bursting to flow.

Jesus is King of glory. (Ps. 24: 7 -10)

Psalm 24:1-10 (KJV)

1 {A Psalm of David.}

The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

There are two things you must understand about this psalm. First is this: While the psalm IS Messianic, the Messiah shall be LEADING the King of glory to come in, that is, as His Anointed, He shall PRECEDE AS HERALD to INTRODUCE the King! "Who shall ascend into the hill of YHWH? or who shall stand in His Temple? He who has clean hands and a pure heart..." That's the Messiah here! David is contrasting Him (the Messiah) against himself! David did NOT have clean hands nor a pure heart, as we read in Scriptures. That's why he couldn't build the Temple for YHWH. (See 2 Samuel 7.)

The second thing is the term itself: "King of glory" is the Hebrew phrase "Melekh hakaaVowd," which literally means "King of the weight" or "King of the wealth"; it would normally be translated as "wealthy King." Remember: wealth was measured in WEIGHT of gold, silver, and so on.

The Restrainer talk about in scripture, in my understanding the is Holy Spirit as it works through God's People until it is removed. This is the power of the Word as God's people use their given authority correctly. As the Word (God"s People) becomes infected with corruption, more and more of the Spirit is removed and babble is replacing it causing division and isolation requiring many to use the internet for companionship staying more digital then physical as time unfurls. Now many Christians they will battle anyone to justify their use of their Crystal balls that are now just square and flat for this age in it's different forms.

I find your writings on a weaving road a bit instead of a straighter, truer Message. If you make your message clearer to yourself first, pray for the proper understanding then put your Message through the Flames of trial and burn away the Words and meanings that don't belong, find the right ones.

Try is a word that can never be beaten unless you don't, and you did try!!!! God Bless You. Keep Trying.

Jesus is King of Heaven. (Dan. 4: 37)

Shalom, again, Marilyn C.

Let's look at the WHOLE passage:

Daniel 4:1-37 (KJV)

1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 2 I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me.

3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

4 I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace: 5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6 Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. 7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. 8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,

9 "O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. 11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: 12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. 13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; 14 He cried aloud, and said thus,

'Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: 15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: 16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him. 17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.'

18 This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee."

19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said,

"Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee."

Belteshazzar answered and said,

"My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies. 20 The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth; 21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation: 22 It is thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth. 23 And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying,

'Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him';

24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: 25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 26 And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule. 27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity."

28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. 30 The king spake, and said,

"Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?"

31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying,

"O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. 32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will."

33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

34 "And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him,

'What doest thou?'

36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellers and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. 37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase."

Actually, the PERSON that Yeshua` called His FATHER is the ONE who is the "King of heaven" or "King of the skies!" N'vukhadnetsar ("Nebuchadnezzar"), who had his own god, "Marduk," didn't know this "King of heaven" by name and called him "the most High" (when compared to his own pantheon of gods), but His Name is "YHWH," as revealed to Mosheh ("Moses") at the burning bush, the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD!

Now, before I continue, ....

Hi Retro,

Yes, ... and no. It's true that you have given me references from the Scriptures - from the Bible - and for that I do apologize (apologise); you DID give me verses for each point you made.

However, your understanding of Scripture is incomplete, and you've filled in the details with theological rhetoric, as I said. But, that's not your fault. People learn different things as they mature, and certain fundamental assumptions become inadvertant building blocks upon which the framework of their belief system are built.

For instance, you have been taught that the "third heaven" is "God's abode." However, this is NEVER said to be true in the Scriptures! It's a theological, rhetorical piece of information supplied by ... someone in the past ... to try making sense of the phrase. To the contrary, Peter tells us that the "third heaven" is the sky around the FUTURE earth.

2 Peter 3:3-13 (KJV)

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they werefrom the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old (the first heaven), and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water (the Flood), perished: 7 But the heavens (the second heaven) and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire (the Fire) against (prior to) the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (the Fire).

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved (the Fire), what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (the Fire) 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens (the third heaven) and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

But, look at how entrenched this spatial view of the "third heaven" is! It's in EVERYTHING! And yet, there is absolutely NO Scriptural proof that such a place "beyond the heaven of clouds and the heaven of stars" even exists!

That was just the FIRST of the three assumptions that are commonly made that have no place in the Scriptures! And, there are FAR, FAR, FAR MORE assumptions than these that people commonly make that should have no place in our belief structure!

Quote

Jesus is King of the Ages. (1 Tim. 1: 17)

Jesus is the Kingpriest over other kingpriests, (The Body of Christ) (the highest realm) (Heb. 6: 20,  7: 1 - 3,  Rev. 1: 6,  3: 21)

Jesus is King over the New Jerusalem. (the lower heavens) (Rev.22: 1)

Jesus is King over Israel. (on earth) (Rev. 5: 5)

Jesus is King over Judah. (Rev. 5: 5)

Jesus is King over the nations. (Rev. 15: 3 & 4)

These, again, will have to wait.

King of Glory.

`Lift up your heads, O you gates! And lift them up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.` (Ps. 24: 9 & 10)

Ps. 22 - 24 is a trilogy.

Ps. 22 pictures the sacrificial substitute for salvation.

Ps. 23 portrays the spiritual Shepherd for sustentation, who leads in paths of righteousness.

Ps. 24 presents the priestly ruler for sanctification and righteousness and the name, King of Glory.  This completes the portraiture.

The substitute Substitute becomes the Shepherd in resurrection sufficiency, and the Shepherd ascends to the throne of sovereignty and assures satisfaction forevermore.

Ps. 24 deals first with the habitable world and its fullness. Here we see the first exhibition of glory in creation. (1 Cor. 15: 40  & 41)

Then the psalm moves to the moral glory, the hill of the Lord and the holy place and the qualifications for entrance - heart pure and hands not defiled.

Then we read of the celestial glory. And in Ps. 68: 17 we read of the escort associated with that triumphant entry. There are many at this celebration and in the centre enthroned in majesty is the King of Glory.

Glory is the crowning diadem of all the attributes of deity. God`s word teaches that holiness, righteousness, faithfulness, goodness, graciousness, loving-kindness and all such virtues are glory crowned.

Presiding in kingly dignity over the total aggregate of the entire range is the King of Glory.

Hi Mychael. I like the way you phrased that. "in my understanding" suggests that it is possible that your understanding is just that, an understanding. Our understandings may be wrong. In fact, I used to have a video series on YouTube that listed a number of understandings (I think I gave five understandings that had been promoted) that have been given to the identity of the restrainer of 2 Thess 2:6. Only one of them was the Holy Spirit.

Just so people understand why the Holy Spirit is a topic in this thread, the thread is about things the Bible does not say. Item 3 in the original post was:

"It does not say that the Holy Spirit is removed from the Earth at any time during the Great Tribulation."

That was the only reference to the Holy Spirit given. I an not (by the way) arguing with what you said in your quote above. I was just looking through the thread and happened to notice your post. I wanted to clarify to the readers of the thread (in case they have not read if from the beginning) how the Holy Spirit enters into our topic.

The other thing I wanted to say, is minor nit picking to some, but I tend to sort of protective about the point, that the Holy Spirit is not an "it", the Holy Spirit is a person, a He!

Thanks

Shalom, Marilyn.

Okay, so now we know one source of your confusion, Charles J. Rolls, "Missionary in India for ten years, Dean of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute, Auckland, N. Z., Dean of Education, The Kansas City Bible College, Missouri, U.S.A., Dean of the Missionary and Bible College, Sydney, was the author of several helpful books, many of which are still in print." Just the same, he is too free with the word "glory," and he doesn't know what the word means.

While God's Sacrifice IS the Messiah Yeshua` and the King's Representative Head (the "Messiah to be King" or the "Anointed to be King") is Yeshua`, it is God the FATHER of Yeshua` who is "the King of Glory," "Melekh hakaaVowd," "King of the weight" or "King of the wealth" or the "Wealthiest King!"

While "glory" has been used as a descriptive word for "Heaven," that's NOT what it means nor does it have anything to do with it. (Furthermore, the place people call "Heaven" doesn't exist!)

The FIRST thing one should understand is that Yeshua` is NEVER called "God!" He is the "SON of God!" What's beautiful about the term is that it not only refers to the Davidic Covenant in 2 Samuel 7:14 and 1 Chronicles 17:13, but it also refers to the Messiah's TRUE SOURCE, as is mentioned in John 1:14-18.

See, Yeshua` is not the Word; He is the Word-Made-Flesh! Yeshua`s name was prophesied by Gavri'eel, but He was not so named until 8 days AFTER He was born when He was circumcised (Luke 2:21)! Furthermore, Psalm 2 shows that Yeshua`, the Word-Made-Flesh, did indeed have a beginning!

Psalm 2:1-12 (KJV)

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD (YHWH, God the FATHER), and against his anointed (His Messiah), saying,

3 "Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us!"

4 He that sitteth in the heavens (in the skies) shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion! 7 I will declare the decree:

'the LORD (YHWH) hath said unto me (the Messiah),

"Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."

'

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little! Blessed are all they that put their trust in him!"

Now, we KNOW what Yeshua` said in John 5:

John 5:19-23 (KJV)

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them,

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him."

And, we know what Yeshua` said His enemies would say:

Luke 19:11-14 (KJV)

11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh (near) to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12 He said therefore,

"A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them,

'Occupy till I come.'

14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying,

'We will not have this man to reign over us!' "

This is how the Messiah Yeshua` left this earth. However, He SHALL return! He's not going to "reign in Heaven"; He going to reign UPON THE EARTH, SPECIFICALLY IN JERUSALEM, ISRAEL, fulfilling the prophecies of the Davidic Covenant and Kingdom to Israel!

Acts 1:6-11 (KJV)

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying,

"Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?"

7 And he said unto them,

"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven (toward the sky) as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said,

"Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven (into the sky)? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven (into the sky), shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven (into the sky)."

Then He said through the parable,

Luke 19:15-27 (KJV)

15 "And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying,

'Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.'

17 And he said unto him,

'Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.'

18 And the second came, saying,

'Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.'

19 And he said likewise to him,

'Be thou also over five cities.'

20 And another came, saying,

'Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.'

22 And he saith unto him,

'Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?'

24 And he said unto them that stood by,

'Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.'

25 (And they said unto him,

'Lord, he hath ten pounds!'

26 'For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me!'"

But, we also must understand how this will play out as Paul noted in 1 Corinthians 15:

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 (KJV)

20 But now is Christ (the Messiah) risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ (in the Messiah) shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order:

(0) Christ (the Messiah) the firstfruits;
(1) afterward they that are Christ's (those who belong to the Messiah) at his (the Messiah's) coming.
24 (2) Then cometh the end, when he (the Messiah) shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25 For he (the Messiah) must reign (during the Millennium), till he (God the Father) hath put all enemies under his (the Messiah's) feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (at the end of the Millennium). 27 For he (God the Father) hath put all things under his (the Messiah's) feet.

[But when he saith, 'all things are put under him (the Messiah),' it is manifest that he (God the Father) is excepted, which (who) did put all things under him (the Messiah).]

28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him (the Messiah, the Son), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him (God, the Father) that put all things under him, that God (the Father) may be all in all.

Think hierarchy. After the Millennium and into the New Earth, God the Father is over the Son, and the Son shall be over the lesser kings under Him, who in turn will be over the rest of the population. The Son of God, the Messiah Yeshua`, will be a "King of kings"; that is, He'll be a World Emperor who shall reign over other kings.

Looking back a little (which is still in our future), during the Millennium, the Son of God will be the King of kings, working as He sees His Father working, but will apparently be ruling Israel as the King of Israel, working toward being a King over other kings as He builds that World Empire for His Father.

Remember how Moses was taught by his father-in-law, Yitro ("Jethro"), to judge the children of Israel?

Exodus 18:13-26 (KJV)

13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening. 14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said,

"What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?"

15 And Moses said unto his father in law,

"Because the people come unto me to inquire of God: 16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws."

17 And Moses' father in law said unto him,

"The thing that thou doest is not good. 18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone. 19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God: 20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do. 21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: 22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee. 23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace."

24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said. 25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

KINGS ARE JUDGES! That's one of the jobs a king, especially a king of Israel, performs! So, that's why His servants are given rule over 10 cities or 5 cities! They (WE) shall become kings and judges over His people under Him! And, because through Him, we introduce the people to God the Father, we are also performing the jobs of priests!

Therefore, we should be considering ourselves to be "kings-in-training," learning how to be the under-kings for God's Anointed King, Yeshua`.

Shalom, Marilyn.

Hi Retro,

Now I have told you before bro, I DO NOT read your long posts, as you go off into your vain imagination.

``In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God. He was in the beginning with God.`(John 1: 1 & 2)

We need to believe what God`s word says and NOT man`s vain thoughts.
