If it's in the Lord's plan, purpose and will:

James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Do you believe faith healing is real?

considering the world these days that is a good question Frank....      I was a Television Director for 8 or 9 years before I got hungry and found a good Job with Xerox.....     I've witnessed extreme fraud taping some of those healing shows and I have witnessed some real actual healings though I would consider them rare.     I personally would believe that the healings that I have seen came from the faith of the person being healed and not from the so called healer....

That is my personal experience from looking from behind the curtains back in the 60's and 70's when I was in the TV business.

The Lord can do anything he wants. One thing, though, is this: A Christian lifestyle promotes good health.

In Christ Jesus, we can walk in divine health, and also experience divine healing. Some of the most dedicated followers of the Lord can and do have misfortunate infirmities that occur. At some point in our lives, these bodies of clay will fail us. At that time God calls us home.

As has been said, the Bible instructs us to always pray for healing, with or without, the laying on of hands. But in 1 Cor. 12 Paul delineates several very specific spiritual gifts, one of which is healing. Let me say that I don't think even Bro. Hagin understood exactly how all this works although he tried to. One thing he talked of is God giving him an anointing when he was going to be asked to pray for healing. He has said, that when praying for many people he can feel it when the anointing wears off. So it seems that for those few people who had the gift of healing that they needed God to give them an extra anointing of the Holy Spirit which Hagin seemed to think was necessary to get better-than-average results.

Since there are so many phonies trying to exploit this we mustn't believe just anyone who claims he has this gift. Case-in-point, several yrs ago I received a pm from a man who said he had a healing ministry and he offered to pray for me. I replied with, fine, thank you. But then a 2nd pm told me this man could only do if I called him on the phone. That made a warning flag go up but I called him anyway. I was on the phone with the would-be healer 30 - 45 minutes and nothing happened. I can't say I know why but I soon realized the would-be healer was looking for recognition & glory. This could be why nothing happened. In my case I lost nothing other than 1 hour of 1 day.

Hey Frank. Yes. Well I know He can't lie. He said.. these signs fallow them that believe. Cast out demons, lay hands on the sick... Peter and John at the gate beautiful said to a man look at us... we don't any silver or gold but what I do have give I unto you in Jesus name. So what did they have that you or I do not? More of Jesus? :) Did you notice they never had to pray OH JESUS if it be your will, Father ...you name it. What did they tell people there that thought THEY healed that man? "Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?" They said "its FAITH in His name"

Isa 53 5 by His strips you are healed. I peter 2 24 by His strips you were healed. I don't look at others to see of GODS word works. It always works. Seen a blind woman get prayed for.. to then jump scream shout cry.. yeah.. she could see. Seen 1st hand what doubt does. Where we all saw a man full of faith always had the bible never doubted that had cancer. One day driving with him. He stops the car...starts to cry and cry. Didn't believe he would be healed. Never told anyone this. Gods mercy and grace and compassion is beyond ours. But doubt.. He said if you doubt let not that man think he will receive anything from God.

We know Jesus went into a town and all He could do was lay hands on a few and teach. See we need to KNOW God can't lie. But we look as Peter did at the things around us and then? We sink. That wall so to speak hits all of us. We need to stand and now bow but have faith that HE CAN'T LIE! "same power Jeremy Camp".

And we don't work our faith. So many wait till something bad happens GOD FORBID and they try to believe and fall :( " but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. " "glow in the dark Jason Gray".

Faith.. it comes from HIS WORD! Think on things He has done in your life. Keep the word in you heart about ALL THINGS. Pray about all things. Pray in the spirit. KNOW He hears you. If you KNOW He hears you.. what did HE say about that? Not what I SAY or ANY MAN..what does HE say? You stand on that.. but everyone everything around me is falling.. KEEP STANDING! He can't lie. Always repent of any sin. And KNOW He is for you not against you. He can't lie..but I saw.. HE can't lie...but so and said...He can't lie. Ask Him. It is so sorry shocking to me that we say Jesus is real and is in us. But.. why can't we just talk to Him? We know the holy spirit talks. Does not He lead and guide us into ALL truth?

:) kind of got carried away here. Yes I believe Jesus still heals. We have His name. And that NAME will always do what He said it would.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
