It is tough. No doubt about this. All kinds of well meaning folk sometimes (unwittingly) downplay this terrible feeling. Please, just come alongside us and comfort us.

I think of Yeshua in the garden.. nobody could even stay awake with Him and be 'good company'. Then He sweat blood and I can only surmise that His Character and perseverance went almost beyond a human's ability to withstand. Since He went thru all this and was then beaten, mocked and killed it boggles my small mind. He truly is WORTHY and He suffered with no sin for all of us. This never makes me 'feel good' but it does help me understand that He is well able to feel our pain and therefore we are not alone in our suffering.

Well soldier you are in the fight, the spiritual fight while in the body aren't you!  You are a soldier in the army of Jesus, you are at your post. And it is a tough one to stand at, really tough. When will help come? When will you see relief troops or support come?  What is your duty till relief does come? What are your orders, are they really to stand your post?

Hallelujah and amen, brother!

Brethren join up in prayer, fix bayonet giving praise to God and prayer for each other and for Lady Kay at her post. Pray for more angels to come to her post and overcome the enemy attacking there.

LORD I  do pray for Lady Kay to withstand the onslaught from our enemy. I do pray  for more angels to overcome resistance  of the fallen evil ones and to get there en mass to overcome the enemy Satan and his many minions and little antichrists that are among us even now. Make a great wall, a strong hedge, at the post that Lady Kay stands so that she may have rest and  gain revival of energy, so that she may be strengthened to a mighty strength for the battle knowing victory is won, even as we all fight against that which still hopes to take some down as they the enemy go down.

I do praise you Lord for your mercy and for your grace upon us.

If your feeling down you probably shouldn't read this. Because I don't think it will help. This is what I want to say. Life and everything has all become too much. I am ready. Ready to go be with Jesus. I ask why am I stll here. Some say life is short. I think it is too long. It has been too long for me. I have come to understand that no matter how hard I try. I really have no control over what happens in my life. Anyway, I have had all I can take. Now I  need to just go be with Jesus. Maybe he will show mercy on me and see that it is all too much for me,and take me home. Maybe that will happen?

Sometimes we focus only on the negative things rather than the good.  I'll bet if you made a list of things you are thankful for, you'd see you are really blessed.

I thought hard about responding to this, and please forgive me for my outright and brash feelings and thoughts. I'm probably going to regret this post. I was angry, I am angry, I will be angry to my last breath; at what happened in my life.

Are you a selfish self centered person only interested in your own feelings and well being? Are you a quitter? How do you want to be remembered by family, friends and loved ones? I hope you're reaching out for help, support and love.

Let me tell you a little condensed story of my only brother that I loved, whom probably had depression. I'm no doctor and I don't pretend to understand depression and the human mind, but I personally know someone who does. I don't know how far back it goes but, my father suffered severe depression and something else medically defined. Evidently such things may be hereditary, as my brother acted and exhibited the same traits. A number of years ago he too had enough and called me to say goodbye. I spent a few hours on the phone experiencing every emotion possible, and trying to talk him out of it. Fortunately I was successful that time. It was an emotional and physical drain dump on me.

A few years ago I got a call from my sister, saying my only younger brother Bob shot himself in the heart, he didn't even bother to call me, he's gone forever; we're all left with more questions than answers. He called my sister to let her know what he was about to do, to call to have his body removed so it wouldn't rot and decay; he lived alone by himself. He gave her some instructions and information on some things. He gave my sister a couple of reasons why he was doing it, a couple being loneliness and financial, I and we could have helped.

Apparently, he gave no thought or didn't care how he would effects his ex-wife, children, brother or sister. He didn't let us know of his thoughts, feelings and emotions so that we might be able to help somehow; he didn't reach out for help for anyone, he just gave up and quit.

I won't bother going into the lasting emotional pain, suffering and deep wounds and scares he left behind for his loved ones to try and deal with. Naturally I don't know any of your blood family or your situation, but you're a dear sister deeply loved and we are a very close knit family in Christ, and we care for and love you. I and we can only provide very limited emotional support, may be some comfort, uplifting, our prayers and encouragement here on Worthy. We are to have joy in our lives knowing we have eternal Salvation and a job entrusted to us serving the Lord and spreading His word. I too deal daily with an imperfect body, mind and thoughts; I try to remind myself of what the Lord told the Apostle Paul and his thorn; my Grace is sufficient for thee.

I have my pains, faults, trials, temptations and troubles as everyone else. I have a laundry list of things I'm going to have to answer for at the Bema Seat of Christ I'm so very ashamed of. I do my very best not to give up and quit, it would be another shameful blemish and failure I'll have to articulate to our Lord face to face. Fight it LadyKay and don't throw in the towel.

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I suppose there are things we need to learn before we can pass onto the resurrection. Hang in there.

LadyKay, be strengthened. Do you remember when God said "No Man Can See My Face and Live"? He was speaking to Moses. Yet, we have seen his face---and died. We saw Christ on that day he saved us, and we died with him on the Cross.

"I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith in the Son of God" (Gal. 2:20). We are praying for you dear sister.

LadyKay,

Praying for you Ladykay.   So sad to hear life has been so hard and you're feeling low.  Praying God will change it up today for you and that you will feel better.  I find reading Psalm 23 several times a day or every hour (if needed) with different emphasis on each Word is very encouraging.  Cling to God's promises and counting blessings helps, it's ok to feel sad and want to be with the Lord and continue to trust God during the storm.  Keep talking to him like David did.  Big hug to your sister.  Please let us hear from you and let us know how you are doing.

Love in Christ to you.

@LadyKay

I will pray for you and continue to do so.

You sound Homesick for Heaven. A few of us are, including me.

From experience, praying for Jesus to take you Home early doesn’t often get answered. I know many people throughout my life who have prayed that, and I think all of them are still here!

Howeverrrrrr, as someone who right now is also going through a tumultuous, horrible time, (me), and also Homesick for Heaven, let me reassure you that listening to praise music, writing a list of things to thank Him for, (if you can’t think of any, ask Jesus to help you). Also writing a list of your prayer needs to Jesus. And reading the bible will lift your spirit.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Focusing your thoughts on Jesus will take you away from this wretched world that we all live in, and you will soar up away from this world and spend some time in the glorious presence of Jesus. And He will refresh your soul.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Only Jesus can give us that perfect peace that our soul desperately needs. We will not get that peace from this world. Life is way too unstable, unfair, painful, antagonising, too many problems one on top of the other, etc.

Also, just take things one day at a time. His mercies are new every morning. So He only supplies sufficient grace for today. If you try and peer into tomorrow, you will only see darkness, because His grace for you won’t arrive until it is tomorrow.

Jesus can give you His peace now! And also His joy! You don’t have to wait till you physically get to Heaven to have this. And the reason why we can have joy in Him now, is because, in Jesus, we have that glorious hope and wonderful future, eternity with Jesus. Our only hope is Jesus. He is the anchor for our soul.

I know life can seem too long when we are going through it. I have said the same thing myself. But in reality it isn’t. You will be in Heaven with Jesus before you know it!

In the meantime, keep running the race down here whilst He keeps holding your hand. He is with you always, walking you Home. And keep your thoughts fixed on Jesus. And when you have persevered and endured this life, with Jesus by your side, what a glorious welcome Home into Heaven you will get after pushing through in this life till the finish line.

I will continue to pray for you. Don’t give up! Keep pressing in with Jesus! It’ll be worth it sister! X

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
