  1. I have been quite disturbed by this thread and most of the comments here. I see that people genuinely want to help however wrong attitudes have upset this. As those who desire to help, we need to know HOW to help not just have the desire. This I see is the problem, people think they are helping but they are coming across `self-righteous.` I did not see the problem addressed, only side issues - are you a Christian? Seer/prophet, medicine, family/marriage problems, own testimony etc. eventually things got so misunderstood and the `helpers` retreated into self-righteousness. May I suggest some basic steps to help others. 1. LISTEN, feed back the main points, have EMPATHY. 2. Address the PROBLEM. The ANSWER is nearly always ATTITUDE.` In this case it was feelings of rejection. The person was looking to circumstances or people or the past as the reason for her rejection feelings. She needed to be helped to see that while those may be hurtful and could cause feelings of rejection we can by an act of our will not take on rejection. Use the word `we` as we are all to use our will but can easily be tricked by hurtful people or circumstances. 3. OUR ATTITUDE. As comments can be misunderstood we need to be HUMBLE, (yes as the Lord was humble) and NOT resort to being self-righteous, (Pharisees). Instead feel for the one who is hurt by the misunderstanding. For example - `I`m so sorry that came over that way, it was not how I intended. Please forgive me, as I do not want to cause you more hurt. See if I can say it a better way.` The main focus is on the person and their problem. As they hear us sit with them looking at the problem, (and not from a self-righteous position), then they will be more likely to hear other points. May we continue to seek the Lord for His compassion PLUS HIS way of treating the person. Marilyn.

  2. In the USA, merely possessing guns stops violence without the guns even being drawn or pointed. Sometimes they are drawn, but not fired and that action prevented violence. This happens all over the USA every day but the media does not rush to tell you about it. Sometimes guns are drawn and fired, and that prevented a mass shooting or someone from being hurt or robbed or their home invaded whether or not the shots fired actually hit anyone. When bad people hear the firepower around them, they most often change their plans and run away. I live in a Constitutional Carry state in which anyone could be armed to the teeth and can carry a gun concealed, but you never know who might be carrying. When you enter a peaceful restaurant setting and get a nice meal around this state, it's safe to assume half the people are armed. Yet, no violence. You finish your meal, and go home. It's not the old west and, in fact, crimes drop because bad people realize that a lot of people are armed, but they are not sure who. It's the 'no gun zones' that are raided by bad people. Bad people know most are unarmed in those places, and that's where they target people. Coincidentally, the most violent people seem to be some type of Democrats. They are your ANTIFAs, BLMs, street gangs, mafias, dictators who kill millions, street robbers, burglars, the majority of your mass shooters, and so on, but they are collectively the ones who whine the most about lawful people having guns. It seems a win/win to disarm Democrats since they are in agreement that they should be disarmed, and that they are also the ones most likely to be a part of very violent groups. Everyone else should be allowed to lawfully carry guns.

  6. @George Thank you for the work you do in fulfillment of your calling. May the fruit of it be a blessing to many if not all. Isa 51:3 For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Spamming is flooding the forums, mass PMs or emailing multiple members of this forum with unsolicited messages. It also includes links in posts or Sigs to sites that sell or solicits funds. No solicitation of any form will be allowed. https://www.worthychristianforums.com/terms/ Just so you know, I generally remove all spam or solicitation type of posts whenever they are reported. I do not have the ability to verify or not verify any request and I certainly don't want to spend my time doing so. My time is already limited. Just so you know this was my weekend ... Friday ... went to NY ... spoke at Jonathan Cahns' ... left late last night returned home at 2 AM ... Saturday ... spoke this morning Tomorrow off and running to speak on the Eastern Shore of Maryland then I'm driving to Florida Sunday night to get to Daytona Beach by Tuesday. That's my typical type of schedule .. it's just that crazy ... so I certainly don't have the time to chase down legitimate or illegitimate claims. Be blessed, George

  8. [David] Psalm 119:120 My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. It is time to take this admonition more seriously. [Paul] Philippians 2: 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Will we allow God to work into us what He Wills, and do what is well pleasing in His sight? Our doctrine cannot be our own. John 7:17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or I speak on My own. Isaiah 1: 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

  9. Lollysd said; "I was told by a seer, that I know is truly gifted" (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, let us go to the seer,” for today’s “prophet” was formerly called a seer [H7200].) 1 Samuel 9:9 "And God saw H7200 the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." H7200; : see (879x), look (104x), behold (83x), shew (68x), appear (66x), consider (22x), seer (12x), spy (6x), respect (5x), perceive (5x), provide (4x), regard (4x), enjoy (4x), lo (3x), foreseeth (2x), heed (2x), miscellaneous (74x). This term/word seems to be the catalyst for discord concerning our replies to Lollysd. I was not fluent/learned regarding seers. Since this discussion I felt it wise to find out the truth or better understanding, and maybe understand better why Lollysd was so hurt. I acted upon my understanding/ignorance. NOT to be confused with; Soothsayer; one who pretends to prognosticate future events. Baalam is so called ( Joshua 13:22 ; Heb. kosem, a "diviner," as rendered 1 Samuel 6:2 ; rendered "prudent," Isaiah 3:2 ) etc etc. Got Questions Ministries What was a seer in the Bible? A seer is a person who “sees.” In the Bible, a seer is another name for a prophet (see 1 Samuel 9:9). But, more specifically, a seer was a prophet who saw visions—pictures or scenes seen in the mind’s eye, in dreams, or even with one’s natural eye. God spoke to His people through prophets in different ways, and one way was through visions. Accompanying the ability to see visions, a seer was given insight into what God was saying by these visions. There are a few different Hebrew words translated “seer.” Roeh (1 Samuel 9:11) and chozeh (2 Samuel 24:11) are the two most common. Second Chronicles 9:29 might differentiate between prophet and seer: “Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, from first to last, are they not written in the records of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam the son of Nebat?” The distinction is probably that Nathan was God’s spokesman in the world (whether or not he had visions), while Iddo was specifically associated with “visions.” Another prophet, Jeremiah, also operated as a seer (see Jeremiah 1:11–13). Notice that God doesn’t ask Jeremiah what he “feels” or “thinks,” but rather what he “sees.” After Jeremiah sees the vision, God gives him insight into what the vision meant (Jeremiah 1:14–18). The term seer isn’t used in the New Testament, but there were still prophets who had visions. Paul had a vision of heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2), as did Stephen (Acts 7:55–56) and John (Revelation 1:12–16). Seers in the Bible possessed a unique gift as God vividly communicated with and through them. Their faithfulness in writing down what they saw helped to complete the Word of God as we have it today. EndoftheMatter.com What is the difference between a seer and a prophet? We have sometimes read or heard the term “seer” in the Bible and know the more popular term “prophet.” So, what is the difference between a seer and a prophet, and are these gifts still active today? The Easton’s Bible Dictionary describes a Seer this way: “a name sometimes applied to the prophets because of the visions granted to them. It is first found in 1 Samuel 9:9. It is afterward applied to Zadok, Gad, etc. (2 Samuel 15:27; 24:11; 1 Chronicles 9:22; 25:5; Amos 7:12; Micah 3:7).” As we read through the Old Testament, we see the term “seer” referenced many times. Whereas the New Testament does not use the term seer, we still see people who had visions. In 2 Corinthians 12:2, Paul had a vision of heaven; in Acts 7:55-56, Stephen had a vision of the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God, etc. So a Seer was another name for a prophet because a seer was a prophet through whom God spoke with visions or pictures. The prophet and the seer are one in the same. These visions could be in the form of a dream, in the mind’s eyes, or even in the natural. The seer would receive insight from God about their meaning and what God wants to speak to the people about. In 1 Samuel 9:11, the prophet Samuel is called a seer; in 2 Samuel 24:11, the prophet Gad is called a seer, In 2 Chronicles 9:29 Iddo the seer is mentioned, and in Jeremiah 1:11-18, we see the prophet Jeremiah receiving visions and insight of those visions from God. The Bible describes a prophet as a spokesman for God. Their task was to speak in God’s name and authority (Exodus 7:1), and whatever they said was not of man but God. 2 Peter 1:20-21 says, “knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” Prophets would teach and reveal God’s truth about current issues and the future. For example, prophets had the crucial task of guiding Israel and establishing the church. When Israel’s priests (who had the more extensive duty to teach God’s law) became corrupt and turned away from God, prophets arose to teach God’s law to the people, kings, and judges when they failed to rule justly and follows God’s law. An example is the prophet Isaiah who preached against the evil and corruption of the day and similarly spoke of the future (Isaiah 1:4; 25:8). So, the question is, do seers/prophets exist today in the church setting? If the primary purpose is to reveal God’s truth, then there is no longer a need for prophets because we have the complete revelation of God in the Bible. The Bible tells us that the church’s foundation was laid by the Apostles and the Prophets. Ephesians 2:20 says, “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone,” If so, then there is no prophet required in this capacity, otherwise are we still building the foundation? God has now finally spoken through His Son, and there is no more divine revelation until the return of Christ (Hebrews 1:1-2). That is why the Apostle Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:10-17 to hold fast to what has already been delivered. We now have the infallible Word and do not need prophets in this capacity because we already have the foundation. On the other hand, God can still give a message to deliver to someone else in supernatural ways, but whatever word is spoken, it must be in total agreement with the word of God. That is why Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 says “Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good.” Again in 1 John 4:1 says, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Whatever message is spoken, we are to be discerning about any word spoken and align it with the word of God. If there is anything contrary to God’s word, then do not receive that word. If the word aligns to scripture, then seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to apply the word to your life. Jesus warned to watch out for false prophets. Matthew 7:15 says, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” False prophets lead people astray by deceiving them, spreading false teachings and messages claiming that they are from God. Deuteronomy 13:1-3 “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams.” In other words, if a self-proclaiming prophet comes to you and says anything contrary to the word of God, then do not listen to them. Also, in Deuteronomy 18:22, it says, “when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.” There are many self-proclaimed prophets and seers today. First and foremost, God has given us all we need in the word of God, for every area in our life and for every decision. If you do hear someone speak a word to you, then test it against the infallible word of God. So be it... ** Maybe this understanding now of what a seer was in scripture will give us an appreciation of Lollysd's frustration, feeling attacked by our forum. I did not know what a seer was, only heard from others also ignorant like myself. This does not negate the possibility of false seers, nor the interpretation thereof. I was wrong about seers. I have learned as God has moved me. Why I'm here. The price on this learning was too high. As I see it. We all should pray fervently for Lollysd and her many trials. Wherever she is. "I was told by a seer, that I know is truly gifted, that she saw my family restored and my marriage as well. I’m trying to hold onto that but it’s tough when everyone around me seems miserable. I feel so broken"

  10. Those going through the Great White Throne judgment should have a lot of fear. Those believers who go through the Bema seat judgment or the Judgment Seat of Christ are all saved and will be going to heaven. They may lose rewards for the things they did or didn't do while on the earth. There are many rewards and many benefits.

  11. I think the trip word here was "seer" which is mostly seen in believer's circles as "fortune teller" which is clearly not of God. I didn't feel in the original post this was what she intended as a meaning though. VERY likely a simple misunderstanding of terms. OTOH dreams and visions are a thing. Even if your theology thinks these things were eliminated, maybe an explanation was in order? Acts 2:17 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. While I haven't had someone claiming any particular gift, I have had persons "prophesy" things over me which later became true. But really this wasn't the 'meat and taters' of the post. This person clearly feels weak and needs some spiritual support. There are some bad trials happening. She needs our prayers. I don't like that she felt there was an "us" and a "them" here. It should be a "we". If she is a believer she is one of US. Please please please, take your finger off the trigger and evaluate before you jump in with the wrong kind of 'help'. Why is everyone's problem of their own making all the time? This simply isn't true.

  12. Plavious, make sure the doctors know what drugs you are taking. Those symptoms could possibly be withdrawal symptoms. I read in another topic of yours that you are taking opioid type drugs for pain.....these are very addictive and will cause withdrawal symptoms. So you might not have an illness at all....so please inform your doctors about all of those medications in order to get a correct diagnosis.

  13. I hear you, brother. My own church has disappointed me from time to time, but everytime - I have to remind myself that I am there to serve the Lord. No one is perfect and no church is perfect. When we look for and expect perfection - we will always be disappointed. I also tell myself that when I look in the mirror and see perfection, then I can expect it from others. That will never happen.

  17. I suggest you teach your son to believe in the LORD Jesus Christ. He does not have to expose it to the world (nor do you). Christianity was underground in hiding for many decades during Roman rule (circa 1st through 3rd centuries C.E.). The Christian "fish" symbol was a secret symbol to identify ones self as a believer without alerting the public, guards, etc. One believer would make a half circle in the dirt with their toe and another facing the first would make the other half circle completing the "fish" symbol. So don't feel obligated to make a public profession to the point your son is hauled away from you. That you both believe in Jesus is most important. Next important is that you and your son remain together. Then that you are free from your ex. God knows and understands far more than most people give him credit for. Hope this helps!

  18. Wow! No spirit of discord from me. I’m a strong believer since I was 9. We have trials right now. That’s what this is. As I said before I didn’t consult my friend as a seer. We were just talking as friends. She told me she saw my husband and I in the future and we were healed. That’s it. I know about seers I know about prophets. I am not ignorant in these things. But to have a poster tell me that a seer and prophet speaking to me is a problem, we’ll that’s not ok. You don’t tell someone that there’s something wrong with someone being a seer when you don’t know the story. And you are also now judging me. For what? I simply mentioned that it’s wrong to make assumptions about something if you don’t know what it’s about. Please don’t start sowing discord and strife. I love the Lord with all my heart and came on here seeking encouragement, not to be judged because my friend is a seer. My friend encouraged me to stay close to God and told me I’m under attack because God wants to use me. You are sounding so much like Jobs “friends”. They implied he must be sinning…You truly don’t know me. I’m definitely saved and am well aware of all the false teachings even in most basic Christian churches. I’m also well qualified to share scripture. I have friends come to me for help. I’m also always open to godly people sharing their thoughts, but I can’t listen when someone is judgey and telling me to lighten up. That’s insensitive. But I also didn’t see encouragement from you, just judgement, which is unfortunate as we are all Christians here…there should not be a spirit of disunity.

  26. Okay. I read through your posting above three times. I must admit that I'm not sure what your argument is. I don't want to guess and then write a page on the wrong thing. May I ask you to just write why you think the Man-Child is Christ. As I pointed out, BOTH Christ AND the Overcomers are promised to "Shepherd" the Nations. This "Shepherding" is not gentle, for the carnal mind is at enmity with God and His commands. A "rod" is for chastisement (Ps.89:32) and iron is, as I explained, unbending. These are symbols of a Government that deals harshly, quickly and commensurately with criminals. Our Lord Jesus will rule like that and require that His co-kings do too. But the question is; What is the evidence surrounding the Man-Child of Revelation 12? You will see from my postings that I considered BOTH Christ and the Overcomers of the Church. Overwhelmingly the evidence points to the Overcomers. These arguments of mine must be dismantled, and your new and (up to now) unconsidered arguments must be shown. I admit I could be wrong, but you must annul my arguments and establish yours. The Book is called Apocalypse - the Revealing. Its events surround the Second Coming. The Man-Child is not the firstborn. The Woman is a "sign". the Woman is in heaven, but delivers on earth. She already had two other seeds. Thus, she is a Mother. But her seed encompass both Christian and Israelite. The Man-Child comes from a "sign". There is a Dragon that has little more than 3 ½ years left to operate. He has been an accuser of the Brethren. The Woman delivers and immediately flees to the wilderness. The Man-Child escapes the Dragon. The Man-Child displaces the Dragon. the woman must face its wrath for 1260 days. God does not help - the earth does. the Beast sends his army after the Woman. If the Man-Child was Jesus it would cause the following difficulties. They are the same if you use Israel instead of Mary: Mary was never in heaven, especially when pregnant Mary is not a "sign". She is real Mary did not have other seed before Jesus Mary did not have seed who made up the Church Mary did not bring forth Israel, or its Remnant Mary did not face the Dragon Mary did not flee to the wilderness Mary did not live in the wilderness for 1260 days Mary was not nourished by God Jesus was not raptured to the throne directly after His birth Jesus did not escape the Dragon ... and there are more. If the argument is made that the Woman is the same as Joseph's dream of Genesis 37, we must refuse that. The "sign" of Revelation 12 is different to the dream in every detail except maybe the number 12 Thanks for your understanding brother.

  27. Saturday 11-26-22 7th. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Kislev 1, 5783 66th. Fall Day Read: Hosea 14:1–4 | Bible in a Year: Ezekiel 27–29; 1 Peter 3 Download MP3 Subscribe to iTunes Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously. Hosea 14:2 “BROKE” was the street name Grady answered to and those five letters were proudly emblazoned on his license plates. Though not intended in a spiritual sense, the moniker fit the middle-aged gambler, adulterer, and deceiver. He was broken, bankrupt, and far from God. However, all that changed one evening when he was convicted by God’s Spirit in a hotel room. He told his wife, “I think I’m getting saved!” That evening he confessed sins he thought he’d take with him to the grave and came to Jesus for forgiveness. For the next thirty years, the man who didn’t think he’d live to see forty lived and served God as a changed believer in Jesus. His license plates changed too—from “BROKE” to “REPENT.” Repent. That’s what Grady did and that’s what God called Israel to do in Hosea 14:1–2. “Return, Israel, to the Lord your God. . . . Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him: ‘Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously.’ ” Big or small, few or many, our sins separate us from God. But the gap can be closed by turning from sin to God and receiving the forgiveness He’s graciously provided through the death of Jesus. Whether you’re a struggling believer in Christ or one whose life looks like Grady’s did, your forgiveness is only a prayer away. What sins separate you from God? Are you ready to confess your need for Him and receive the forgiveness that He’s provided through His Son, Jesus? Father, search my heart for anything that may contribute to my downfall and distance from you. Cleanse me, forgive me, and use me for Your honor. INSIGHT Hosea 1:1 provides the reader with something of a time stamp that opens the so-called Minor Prophets (not minor in significance or value, but books that tend to be smaller in size than the major—larger—prophetic books like Isaiah and Jeremiah). Hosea began his prophetic role during the reign of King Uzziah and continued even into the reign of King Hezekiah. This lets us know that Hosea served during the years prior to Israel’s exile to Assyria and Judah being taken into Babylonian captivity. The prophet’s primary message was to call the people of Israel back to covenant faithfulness and to remember the Deuteronomic laws that were given to guide them in walking with God. Nevertheless, the seeds of spiritual rebellion that would provoke Israel’s captivity are found throughout Hosea’s writings. In fact, the verses in today’s reading (Hosea 14:1–4) are the prophet’s recommended prayer of repentance for Israel’s repeated idolatry, which constituted spiritual adultery against God. By Arthur Jackson|November 26th, 2022 Sin Hosea Fourteen:1-4 1 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. 3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. 4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. 28. The short answer; 1. The Magog of Revelation is the same as the Magog of Ezekiel 38-39 2. The prize for all men is Jerusalem. It will reach its peak of glory as both political and religious Capital of the world during Christ's reign (the greater Solomon) 3. If you study the whole Bible you will see that God never leaves anything untested. The Nations who survive the Great Tribulation are still in the flesh. They can reproduce. Due to big harvests, long life and God's "regeneration" of the earth during Christ's righteous Millennial rule, the earth's population will literally explode. 4. A large percentage of the earth's population will disagree with the rule of the rod of iron. The carnal mind is at enmity with God. After 1,000 years, those who never knew life under Satan's rule will e ripe for rebellion. 5. Satan is let loose to test the Nations. He raises a huge army to attack Jerusalem - world political and religious center. Note the differences between the attack on Jerusalem at the end of this age and the end of the Millennium. Ezekiel 38-39 shows a city unprotected. Primitive weapons are used. 6. At Armageddon Christ is the General and sheds blood. At Hamon-Gog God is the General. It is His Kingdom that is called into question. The dead reach shocking proportions. Jerusalem is untouched except for the bloodbath. God gives permission for the burial of men on Israeli territory. This is because soon the general resurrection of the White Throne will solve the problem of the unclean (the dead) polluting the Good Land, AND, God is about to usher in the New Earth (lit. the earth made pristine). I see it just like Revelation 20 tells it. Ezekiel is a Book about God's testimony on earth. In the early Chapters He must vacate the Holy of Holies to allow Nebuchadnezzar to enter Jerusalem without being struck dead. Although His withdrawal is expedient for Israel's chastisement as per Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, God's honor is at stake. During the following 70 years He is only called the God of heaven (Book of Daniel). 500 years later, Messiah Emmanuel must suffer humiliation to achieve salvation. For the Church age both Jehovah and Jesus must suffer reproach as they forego judgment for the gospel's sake. It ends with an imposter in the place made for God. So there comes a day when the Creator, Master and General of the universe will not be retiring. Woe to those who test Him! Ezekiel ends with Emmanuel in a fitting Temple/Palace. Woe to anyone who now tries to displace Him.

Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

  31. John 8:58–59 (KJV) 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. If Jesus was making an innocuous statement (even if claiming to simply exist before Abraham did), why are the Jewish people in company so worked up about it? His claim is to be the I AM of Exodus 3:13-15. Exodus 3:13–15 (KJV) 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. This text also establishes the LORD (YHVH) as the I AM. And the Jews in company with Jesus when he claimed to be the I AM knew exactly what he meant. Sadly, they did not believe it. Hence the attempt to stone him. But God uses even their hostile testimony as to who and what Jesus is. Jesus is Lord (title of the thread) in the Greek "kurios" which can mean either lord or LORD. Several New Testament Greek texts (using kurios) quote Old Testament Hebrew texts that sate YHVH. Further evidence that Jesus is Yahweh (the LORD) is the accounts of him as Creator (John 1:3 / Colossians 1:16 / Hebrews 1:2) cross referenced with Isaiah 44:24 indicating the preincarnate Jesus created all things created in the beginning ALONE BY HIMSELF: Isaiah 44:24 (KJV) 24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; You will notice the text also declared twice that it is referring to THE LORD / YHVH. Extra point... it also states his is YHVH our REDEEMER. The Father is the one to whom the redemption price is paid (Isaiah 53:10) ← the debt is satisfied is the gist of the text The SON is the redeemer. Jesus Christ IS YHVH (LORD).

  36. We do need to be wary of false teachers. But this man's statement here by itself is not true. We can be led astray by false teachers, true, but false teaching is not the only reason we may be unclear on things or hold to wrong understanding. For one example, Jesus said the truth has been hid from the wise and learned but revealed to little children, so it can be our own flesh and heart attitude that prevents us from understanding. Another reason is that understanding is something we grow in....things we didn't understand in the beginning we might have gleaned more light and understanding about years down the road. Another is that God Himself sometimes veils things in scripture...eg, to hide his strategy from the enemy, eg, where the bible says "if the devil had known, he wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory." Etc. The flesh of man likes everything to be cut and dried, wrapped up and tied with a bow, because that puts us in control, whereas the bible itself says we only see through a glass darkly. So we need the LORD at all times and to learn to depend on Him, His Spirit. He is the one who leads us and navigates us through the pitfalls of this life and opens His word to our understanding, and rescues us if we get lost or stuck in the mud at some points along the way, and that is one reason we will lay our crowns at His feet.

  37. An octopus is not more advanced than man. God said, "Let's make man in our image and likeness:" God neve said let's make man in the image and likeness of an octopus. Has an octopus ever built an airplane, a sky - Scraper, a hospital, a car, a bus, a school?

  38. @GerdaHannah I think it would be unwise to move back to India since the Indian courts would side with your ex-husband. You don't need any more stress. Remember, in Canada and the USA....you will be protected from your ex-husband by our laws. He cannot force you to withhold meat from your ill son. The Western courts would consider that as child abuse, especially if the meat is necessary for your son's health. If you feel your ex-husband could become dangerous, you should talk to the police department to see what your options are.

  39. Ok, I have prayed for you. You really need to speak to your attorney. Have you told the attorney about how your husband restricts your son's diet and have you gotten an opinion from your son's pediatrician? Have you spoken to social workers? I believe these are the types of discussions that you should be having. Write down and DOCUMENT everything. Good luck and God bless you and your son!

  40. Based on your earlier post, if you move to India and attempt to convert your son to Christianity, then your ex-husband will then be able to legally take custody of your son, correct? Are you sure about that? Have you consulted an attorney in India? I presume it would be no issue for you to teach your son the words of Christ in Canada. I obviously don't know the particulars to your situation but it seems unfortunate that you might take your son to India where the laws are (apparently) different and unfavorbable for raising your son to be a follower of Christ. I hope there is a way that you can help your son with his health IN CANADA so that you can also raise him up to be a follower of Christ.

  41. I did a very deep ten year long study of the occult including demonic powers, fallen angels and Satan himself. Unless the Holy Spirit is guiding you I would not recommend people do such a foolish thing. The more you learn about them, the more they will open up to you and in the end find ways to convince you to join them. They are very old and very smart and have dealt with humans for thousands of years, and they hate you with a passion that is hard to understand. One needs to understand that humans have no authority or power within the spiritual world, outside that given to us when we have the Holy Spirit within us.

He could have demonstrated legitimacy by providing the name of his hospital along with many other verifiable details, but he did not do so. To say that I am and was skeptical of everything that he stated would be a monolithic understatement. 44. Don't expect to receive help when you jump down on those who took the time, and shared with you what could be another source of your many problems, especially one who could really relate to you who and has been where you are. You said that your seer is "a fierce woman of God" and "She is filled with the Spirit, speaking in tongues." I don't understand why you haven't received your answers to your problems after you consulted her? You surely have talked to her, right? What did she recommend to do? Have you been following her 'spirit led' wisdom? If not, why not? People here do not reply to a post like yours with so many problems unless they believe they may help you. And it's possibly they may know a little more than you do about a seer and prophetess and the reasons to be careful consulting/listening to them. But you have to develop a spirit to listen, to learn. Unless you already know all the answers. I sense a spirit of discord here now and the best we can do is to allow God's spirit of peace to take over, trusting in his promises, and calm down. God is not the author of confusion. It is standard practice when we do not know you, a new poster, to ask if you have ever been saved, born again of the spirit. Because if you haven't, then your prayers are hindered. God almighty, our creator, is the Father only of born again believers. I thought I was saved for over thirty years in a religion till I heard I must be born again. And finally understood what that meant! Lighten up and listen. If you really want help. There are many women here very well qualified to share what God says in the scriptures that applies to your situation. Then Trust God's guidance.
