  1. Even if this were true, which it is not, it has no bearing on the markets, they do not rely on any government analyses or formulas. They are private entities that do their own calculations. I do not rely on the media for tracking the markets, I rely on the markets themselves. The numbers I gave you come from them, not from the media, not from some conspiracy theory site that you seem to be fond of. No, we are not a Christian nation, never have been, never will be. We are nation that has Christians in it, that is all.

  2. Look up Regans US Treasure assistant or deputy. He has a website and posts the calculations using the economy analysis formulas we used for 100 years before obama administration changed the variables and formulas. Most of the media is not using true tracking of markets, recession, unemplyment, average american household health ect, ect. Our country and its people are in huge debt and we are in a bad recession close to a horrible depression. Wages are way under cost of living and government mandated purchasing is a larger part of household income them housing.. The Nafta trade kill is doing its work. Comment from another claim. American is and was a christian nation. Isreal was still the nation of israel whether it resided under Rome or Babylon governments. American people other then the huge gathering of other religions and planting them in our country by multinational globalists like Clinton and Obama, live under one God and one Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 119:160 (King James Bible) The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. 6. What do you think sin is? Transgression is another word for sin. Sin is the act whether knowingly or unknowingly of going against a law, rule, or code of conduct. It is an offense. The word “guilty” means that a person who violates, breaks, or goes against a law, rule or code of conduct whether they are violating man's laws, rules, code of conduct or God's rules, laws, or code of conduct are culpable or responsible for doing so. Doesn't matter if a person simply dislikes someone else, that person has still committed an offense (sin). For in God's code of conduct, he tells us to not do that, right? So when a person does it anyway, that person is guilty of committing sin. For he dislikes his fellow man. God has written his laws, rules, and codes of conduct in every person's heart. Every person knows right from wrong. People know that they are doing wrong, because their consciences tell them when they did wrong. You have been told repeatedly that the bible says ALL have sinned. To say only some, and not everyone is to call God a liar, because it is HE who says that ALL have sinned. All have fallen short the glory of God. There is NOT one human on this earth that has not sinned. We are all guilty and held accountable unless we except his gift of forgiveness.

  8. Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. We are told by God that they are without excuse.

  10. They should be fired up about radicals hijacking their "peaceful" religion - if in fact it really is peaceful. Having read the Koran, I don't think so. Actually the Koran, and other Islamic literature tell them they are not "good" Muslims unless they either take part in jihad, or support those who do. I doubt we'll see any of them protesting against ISIS, etc. due to the fact people who do so have a habit of dying.

  16. Unless they know that they sin, they are not guilty. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but Scripture says if you are blind you are not guilty of sin. All have sinned, but some are not guilty of sin. John 9 Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. 39 Jesus said,“For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” 40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?” 41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin" Also, don't forget that Jesus forgave those who crucified him, saying from the cross "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do". Many people wouldn't do what they do if they knew the truth.

  17. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. Luke 12:48 I've been given this prophecy and word of knowledge many times as a Christian. The first time I was a baby Christian, having just given my life to the Lord. My friend said to me that I had been given much and much would be required of me. Not to be bragging, but my friend knew I had many abilities and talents and then God gave me many spiritual gifts. I've always felt this huge burden over my life since my friend quoted this scripture and told me God would expect much from me. Recently I finished writing a huge novel, nearly 1000 pages, and people said they were moved by it and that the novel changed their lives. It was not one I'd publish for the general public as it contained many of the memories of the horrid things I witnessed and what was done to me. Not long after I posted the final chapter, I repented for not using my writing gift to glorify God and further His Kingdom, and asked Him how He wanted me to use my talent for writing. I felt that this kind of story was leading me astray so maybe it was doing the same for those who read it (???). I know for years the Lord wanted me to use writing novels for healing from my abuse. Though now I don't believe that's true any more. I wanted to add that I wanted to continue on down the path of writing more novels like this huge one. However God gave me a repetitive dream. I had it three nights in a row before I knew something had to change. I needed to repent and go another direction in my writing. I dreamt that there was an earthquake in my house (not outside of it). The only place where there was destruction was my office I use for writing. The wall to my left was crumbling, huge bricks falling away. I knew exactly what the dream meant: I was sinning and needed to repent and change my ways. Is this supposed to be a huge burden hanging over me? Do I strive to use all of my gifts, talents, and abilities for God's glory and to further His Kingdom and stop worrying whether I'm doing enough or the right thing or going the right direction? Or always be in prayer for His guidance in the direction I've undertaken? Can I really use all of these abilities, talents, and spiritual gifts? Seems as if I'd need to discern which ones could be used in concert with each other and use those rather than all that has been given me. Seems overwhelming to me is what I'm trying to say. Something which goes with this.... When I attended a church for the first time (moved many times so not church shopping) I used to dive in head long and used as many of my abilities, talents, and spiritual gifts as possible. Then I felt used as I watched others just sit around not participating in their church. As I grew as a Christian, I started to take a different stance. I held back and discerned which ministry God could use me the most. So would that be going against that scripture Luke 12:48 because I'm not using all that has been given to me?

  20. Did you all know that the rustling of divorce papers occurs prior to marriage, within an prenuptial agreement? ( I didn't )- Hard way to start a union. But, with the older couple a bit of a necessity for all the family's concerns - and the couple's too. Of course a young marriage couple burn inside of desire! They have no experience of love as a couple that has built life together grows to know. And seldom does the young couple have assets at hand more than a couple of nickels each to rub together. Yet physical emotions grow and grow deep with the scars of life shared in a union. Divorce is always an option, and sometimes a need because of the hardness of us. It is very difficult to surrender to make marriage survive through the hardest of times together. But the memories are worth the pains, even the final pains of death separating bride from groom. It all serves to reveal our Lord to us in our daily life's experiences. It is grand, the adventure we are given by God.

    1 point
  25. Your idea that "Many Atheist are not guilty of sin" is very wrong. I am afraid you are not understanding this scripture and applying what you think incorrectly. First, Jesus was addressing the Pharisees, a group of religious people who rejected Christ Jesus. Because they thought they were right and true and Jesus was wrong and false, they were said to be blind, and because they claimed to have the truth, they were guilty of their sin. Atheist are a group of people who also refuse to accept there is a God. In order to be an atheist, one had to of been told about God, so their rejection of God is also held against them, and they do willfully sin. Like the Pharisees, their sin will be held against them.

  26. Romans 5:14 "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come." John 1:17 "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." So since the time from Adam to Moses, there was no repentance of sin or the knowledge of repentance. After Moses, following the Law began and the Law prescribed what was and what was not acceptable to God. And after Christ, came the grace and truth to add to The Law.. which means that grace and Truth was offered. There were now forgiveness without formal sacrifices and there were explanations (truths) so that we could understand The Holy Bible.

  28. It is important to know that there are no originals in the Greek translations. The codexes used have already been mentioned here and so I won't repeat. The KJV was translated from different texts than the new modern bibles. Also the KJV has been translated literally (word for word)where the modern bibles use what is called "Dynamic Equivalence". This means that the translator attempts to bring out the meaning of the text in an easier to read format. By doing that, his thoughts are able to enter in and the translation can become biased to that person's doctrine. NIV is dynamic equivalent in it's translation. In many NKJV bibles this process is explained very well. Great thread, usually swords have been drawn by this time. KJV is really under attack and I have become quite self conscious in using it. Will continue though.

  30. Have you ever had the Holy Spirit take over your church service? This happens a lot in my church. There have been times when the pastor has a sermon all ready to go, then like a wave people start coming up to the alter for payer or start popping up all over giving testimonies about this or that. Then the whole order of the service changes. The pastor at times has put away his sermon and just let the Spirit flow. Praises to God break out all over. Or there have been times when the service takes a direction that the pastor says "well I was going to preach on this topic, but I am being lead to put that away and talk about something else." I just wonder if anyone else has experience this?

  31. It might not be so much a sin, in my opinion. but you should keep in mind their condition and circumstances. Since Christ calls us to love one another and to be concerned for one another, seeing such a person who might be breaking the law to help keep himself/herself afloat and not 'reporting' it might not be 'sin'. But if you see someone who is being daily neglected by a service or such and the person's well being is being jeapordized, then it might be sin to look the other way and show no concern for the person but keep to the service's rules and policies. Christ is more about helping individuals than keeping book records. A person in need of food is a person that concern can be shown to. A person who is cheating on taxes can be a person that concern can be shown to since if Government found out, he/she might be put into jail. Each person has to be concerned and know if the law which is being broken is for survival or for self profits, etc....

So are those laws: The legal, ceremonial, moral, or general standards of God? Asking questions as to if God can change is to err. Seeking to change God is seeking to change God's Word. 47. Hi eileenhat, Great post. Thank you. I came to writing through the Lord giving me the ministry. I did not ask for it. Before that I was in music ministry, playing the flute on worship teams. At the church I was attending at the time, the pastor asked if there was anything we wanted to let go of and to stand. I did. I had no idea what the prayer was about. He asked us to close our eyes and extend our arms palms up and imagine that what we were letting go of was in them. The first thing which came to me was letting my music ministry go. I was shocked that thought would come to me. I imagined my flute lying on my hands, and I offered it to God to do with as He pleased (as instructed by the pastor). I felt lighter as the music ministry was lifted from me. Then the pastor said, "Now receive what the Lord has for you." A heavy weight fell onto both of my hands. It weighed so much that I had to sit in order to hold it on my lap. The Lord showed me it was a huge book filled with many books. As given to me in several dreams, I got the message that I'd be able to read between the lines and derive deeper meaning from that. I heard Him say again and again, "Write." I remember one woman at the church being shocked that had laid down the music ministry. She said that must not be from God what you're hearing. She loved my flute playing. And that is how I came into the ministry of writing. For the first twelve years of writing, I had not sought to publish anything nor had I felt the nudging of the Holy Spirit to go that direction. All of my writing was used for healing from my dysfunctional family of origin and my father's abuse. In 2015, I sensed a change in the direction of my writing through the Holy Spirit. Still I hadn't made the move to publish. I am just now turning that corner.
