It Has All Become Too Much

If your feeling down you probably shouldn't read this. Because I don't think it will help. This is what I want to say. Life and everything has all become too much. I am ready. Ready to go be with Jesus. I ask why am I stll here. Some say life is short. I think it is too long. It has been too long for me. I have come to understand that no matter how hard I try. I really have no control over what happens in my life. Anyway, I have had all I can take. Now I  need to just go be with Jesus. Maybe he will show mercy on me and see that it is all too much for me,and take me home. Maybe that will happen?

This may come as a shock, but you are in the worlds greatest place...When you see like a leopard, you, by your own strength can not change your spots... You see the only way to be free, is for you to die..Which is true...

But thank God, this is exactly what our salvation in Christ consists of... Our deaths in Him... Now for the remainder of your time in the body,  trust Him to live His life in and through you...You’ve already learned that your efforts are futile...So what have you got to lose??

Trust His love for you in all your goings in and goings out... Truly trust Him in all your actions and non-actions and in a very short order you will see His hand of love carrying you through things that would have stumbled you before. And this will be effortless on your part, if you will just maintain a trust in God’s love for you that will not waver to the left or right, just always looking heavenward for all things... and this newness of life you read about in scripture will be yours in such a way your heart will jump for joy at the freedom from you, you have found...

Forgive the boldness, will be standing before God in your behalf..

I agree. I feel the same way. Then I remember we are to be patient. We are strangers in a strange land. We are seated in heavenly places. We are overcomers. We are blessed. We receive and give Grace. We are holy and set apart. We are humbled.

Ladykay we are often on opposite points of view, but you are loved here. I know life can bite sometimes. Certainly the past 2 yrs for me have been rough. But you can get through this. Just cling to the Lord at this time. Remember the words of david in psalm 23:4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Been where you are before and probably will be there again. This life is not always roses and sunshine. Sometimes it’s enduring under a crushing weight of (insert your current struggles here) and just praying that today is the day He comes for you. I’ve been a Christ follower for 14 years and in that time I’ve only really learned a few things - that even in the darkest valleys He loves me with a love I can’t even begin to comprehend, He will NEVER leave me, and that as long as I don’t give up He won’t either (and even when I do give up He holds on tightly to me). Whatever you’re facing @LadyKay, He will bring you through it. I know it to be true. He doesn’t leave us in the valley. 
 

Like our brother Godismyloveforever said, sometimes we just have to commit to endure the day, with His help, and trust that tomorrow will be better. The wicked one likes to lie to us, and he is really good at it. His job is to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan knows now he can’t shake my faith so he comes after my joy/peace, before it was always my faith, Sounds like he’s learned just where to attack you also. I’m praying for you in the Name of Jesus, my sweet sister. The devil is a liar and whatever you’re enduring will soon be turned for your good!

It is wonderful to hear of your heart`s desire to be with Jesus. Too many have earthly entanglements, but you keep holding on to Him.

I have been watching this thread, and I am at a loss for words. I have been praying, and I am glad others have something to say. Me, I just have to let even most of my prayers be handled by the spirit:

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

It takes patience and faith and trust in God. God will take us home in His perfect timing.
