  1. Well respect? To find out a meaning behind words, before you judge? Not to prejudge? Be kind and loving. Forgiving. Fair. Slow to anger. Helpful. Thoughtful. Sharing. All that.

  2. Late term abortions are now legal and are done up to full term. I have heard of them being done during normal delivery but I don't know if that is true. Acid is used to cauterize the womb when bleeding can't be stopped. I have witnessed this. So use on a baby does not seem unreasonable. It is also what was presented in detailed stages in college anatomy and physiology classes. The "morning after pill" acts in the way you said. But beyond the embryo stage the baby very soon develops a heart and brain, spinal cord and nervous system. It expands as the baby grows. When only an inch or so in size you can see where its eyes will be, its nose, mouth, hands and legs and you can watch it sucking on its thumb. I have seen these babies preserved in jars as well as ultrasounds of them fully alive. While this was in the 80s, I remember it vividly. It is tragic that you have been so misinformed. http://nursingcrib.com/nursing-notes-reviewer/maternal-child-health/stages-of-fetal-development/

  7. Dear friends , do we realize we're living in these last days? Purpose of This Letter 1This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles. The Coming Day of the Lord 3Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 5For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. A New Heaven and Earth 10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. 11Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! 13But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 14Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, 15and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, 18but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

  11. I am glad for you as well, Yowm, especially since God adopted you as His own son. But I am even more glad that Mary chose to keep Jesus. She had all the excuses of being an unwed mother, and all the scorn of those who accused her of fornication. But God had a better idea that she bear the Son of God and the Son of Man who was conceived of the Holy Spirit.

  13. People make mistakes every day. YHWH (GOD) never makes a mistake. People don't know very much. YHWH (GOD) knows everything there is to know - way beyond what all people together can even begin to imagine. So, as Y'SHUA MESSIAH SAVIOR lived, and told HIS disciples to live, listen to the FATHER all the time, staying in prayer, and DO what HE says to do. (instead of what men say, or even one's own heart or mind). i.e. in other words , also, do not judge by what can be seen and heard physically, but judge rightouesly - whatever the FATHER determines, DO as HE says.

  14. My Bible Study was going through Romans 12 this week, and something came up that I've been seriously meditating on. As I was teaching through verses 9-21, verse 10 really stood out to me. In the ESV it says "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." Now since then I've been thinking about honoring others and what that looks like. I understand honoring God, the 5th Commandment says to honor our parents, or 1 Timothy when it tells us to honor elders; but I find myself thinking "how am I showing honor"? Am I honoring others with the same ferver that I seek to honor God or my parents? What about the way I am honoring civilian authorities? Does the way I show honor to others give glory to God? Does the way I show honor reap an eternal reward? What kind of ways do you show honor to others?

  15. My in laws were abusive and hateful. I finally concluded that they were doing the best they knew how to do. They did not have the Holy Spirit. They lived as the world lives and did what was right in their own eyes. But through Christ I learned to respect them and have pity on them, in spite of the fact that they had hardened their hearts to the Gospel and used us for their own gain. We had learned to stand up to them and not be doormats, and to endure their scorn. It really hurts when these are people, who are supposed to be the ones we can trust, betray us time and time again. But perhaps we learned a little of what Christ endured on earth when He was rejected and scorned by men, the very people He came to die for and save. It is hard to watch what it has done to my husband. But God's love does heal and He shows Himself to be the perfect Father that we can trust. He is faithful when no man is faithful. So I have rejoiced in God's promises to heal the broken hearted, to bind up our wounds, and to make something beautiful of us. And I rejoice even more to have seen the fruit of those promises. So for those who are able to keep distance from your abusers, I applaud you for your stand. And I applaud you for continuing to send gifts and cards. You will never earn their love when they have none to give. Instead, bask in God's unearned love. I love the phrase of the Rabbi in Fiddler on the Roof. God bless and keep the czar--far away from here!

  17. This is not a difficult thing to understand when the entire Word of God is brought to view... we gave the world to satan when we sinned in the garden and now we are born sinners predisposed to sin. God when He brought redemption to the world made moot this world and the bodies we are in... In the sanctification process we learn to cling to that which is eternal and let go of that which passes away- after all everlasting is key to a Godly value system of true worth! There are a great many people out there that are operating upon this world and the structures born out from it and have ignored this understanding found in God's Word here 2 Peter 3:10 (KJV) [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. [11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, [12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? [13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. What manner of people indeed! God will move His children into a place where sin has never been nor entered into the mind; this the eternal state... here we are called to live in the light of His Word and reckon as He has written it down all things unimagined 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. There exist only three types of people who study the Scriptures: those who pervert it on purpose, those who in their own power determine what is said and those who in contrite and brokenness of heart & s/Spirit look to God The Holy Spirit to lead them in the unified meaning of God's Holy Word... When we go to the place where Jesus met us at the cross and from there build out, using only The Word of God in the power of The Holy Spirit, our understanding-> we find that we are being fitted for a new body and new place and we no longer fit in this one but have become alien to its direction and ways... we no longer have death as a terrible thing but an actual desire for in it's arrival we will finally look upon The Face of Jesus Who made us, delivered us and eternally keeps us ... this is a game changer and radically changes everything from a false importance to a true and everlasting importance. Powers here and demons no longer have place... fulfilling this obedience 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) [9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. [11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. [13] Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. [14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. give no place to evil/devil/demons reckon them of the death and what part has death with life? The Obedience Ephesians 4:27 (KJV) [27] Neither give place to the devil. This means I don't want to know their names nor anything else but reckon them of the death from which I no longer have part with... Love, Steven

  18. As christians, we should lay off all immaturity and strive for maturity. How do we do that? by not prejudge not judge falsely judge actions, not person follow the word do what the word say clear out all worldliness not go up in the same as the world be kind, loving, patient be fair be honest clean living and in marriage/non marriage not fill the mind with negativity about others ungodly actions, watching or speech banned etc etc you see God wants a clear vessel that his power can run through. So you can with him do his bidding.

  29. Welcome to Worthy, Your not married to your in laws. The Bible is clear that the only grounds for a divorce is if infidelity has occurred. When you say he behaves inappropriately what does that mean, in what manner? My question is do you love him and did you not see any of this when you were dating. I would suggest you speak to your pastor. Do you go to church? are you a born again believer in Christ. If not you need to commit your life to Jesus, get involved with a good Bible believing church and go from there. Start praying for your husband too. Blessings, RustyAngeL

  31. Actually OneLight gave an excellent answer. Yes we can be friends and still not accept the lifestyle which God does call a sin. We are to love them but hate the sin. If friendship means to you that you accept them and they way they live then no you can't do that. You always have to put your relationship with God and His Word first.

  37. Well i can tell you and you are free to tell *others*, that before I delivered myself, with The Lord, I prayed to The Lord, asking what to do, how to and to lead me to any information I would need to be able to be free of anything oppressing me. So, the next thing I know, He lead me to John Todd, and another deliverance ministry called out of the darkness, talking about the controlling demons of this and that, and how christians prayed, and prayed, and prayed, some cases getting a little better, but back again, suffering. And suffering. As an illuminati deflector, council of 13, top tip top witch, he knew what he was on to. Same with the deliverance ministry, about going to THE ROOT to be free. How you get up the head of it all. And to do so, its very advantageous, to know the name, the purpose. Not to converse. No, but to throw out, in the name of Jesus! So he had the names. Believe me you i didnt search for todd before that, and it was riight there. I asked The Lord, and I got free. Thats the end of that. Ive just come out of a chest infection a very long one. Ive struggled with coughs, colds, etc and chest infections for YEARS. Yes WITH prayers. Now something LEFT me. Thats The Lords miracle. Sure I get where you come from.

  39. Hi Cletus, Yes the Greek word `hemera` refers to a 24 hour period, however....when used figuratively means - a period, always defined by the context - age, judgment, years. This is what we see in 2 Peter 3: 10 `the Day of the Lord .....in which the heavens will pass away...` That time period includes Israel`s final 7 year chastisement, Jacob`s trouble, Jesus` deliverance of Israel, earthly judgment of the nations, & on through the Millennium till the Great White Throne with the heavens & earth being burnt up. `And I saw a great white throne & Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth & the heaven fled away.` (Rev. 20: 11) As to `the heavens and earth do not pass away until Jesus returns and the earth and the works that are in it will not be burned up until Jesus returns. ` as you said, scripture does not say that I believe. Can you give specific scriptures to show your point? Marilyn.

Blessings Heavenunlimited I'm sorry to say & perhaps burst your bubble but God is the same yesterday, today& forevermore...I would every careful to test the spirits when you are engaged in these conversations you are having with Almighty God........... Jesus simply told demons to "Be quiet" & to 'get out" ....the only time Jesus said"What is your name"? was with legion, because there were many(a legion)....Jesus did not entertain conversation with demons,He commanded & they obeyed These hideous entities do not deserve to be called by any name, that is not their name anyway......bacchus was the roman name for the greek god dionysis(god of wine)......this screams "occult" has no Biblical support Highly unlikely that God would glorify any demon by using greek mythological names of false gods or the names the romans gave them Agreed 100%.,seems tome you are headed for trouble......get into the Word of God ,YOU do not cast anything out & demons love to make you believe you do-itb is by Holy Spirit Power & AUTHORITY You better believe a Christian can be oppressed, can be bound & have many strong holds With love-in Christ,Kwik

  42. To make it clear, I wasn't "flaunting" anything, just simply making an observation about a site function I was unaware of. See folks, here's the thing: last April I attempted suicide. The reasons are personal, but since then I've been making a conscious effort to remove as much stress as I can from my life. I was enjoying the political forum here, right up until the President took office on 20 January. I thought things were going to calm down then (naive, I know), only to find a small handful of posters doubling down on their slamming. So, as I said, with the ignore button I can silence those who are causing me to stumble. If that makes me a bad Christian, so be it. And, apropos of nothing, my wife (who's my co-writer) and I are putting the finishing touches on our new novel before sending it off to our agent. Prayers appreciated. Thanks!

  43. I find it quite difficult at times to be confronted with all the adversarial stuff too. Why don't I hit ignore? I don't want God to hit the ignore button on me. "Forgive us our trespasses AS (in like manner) we forgive those who trespass against us." Every morning I begin my day in prayer. "God, please direct my thinking. I ask that it bee divorced from selfishness, self seeking, dishonesty and fear. I ask to know the knowledge of your will for me today and that you supply me with what I need to carry it out. Please live through me today and seek to reconcile others unto yourself. Your will not mine be done." When I find myself offended throughout the day, I pause when agitated and seek God again asking God to save me from self-righteous anger and to help me realize in my heart that the offender is lost, sick and dying. Especially those who claim to know Christ. John, I know I have left many a place filled with contempt for those who I needed to minister unto. I have had more success than ever since I began praying these simple prayers for help and strength. God bless you brother!

  44. Exactly! I encourage you to do so, and any others that placed His will before their flesh! We are called to be one body, not to be divisive. In fact, we see instruction about this in Romans 16:17-18, and especially in Titus 3:9-11. Those whom I encourage to leave the forum are those who has a desire to participate, but are easy targets because they are humble. Due to their humility in Him, they have a hard time with those claiming to be a follower of the Lord, but their fruit proves otherwise, causing them pain but the attacks on them and their stance. I find this on both side of the aisle, not just one. Thanks for checking to see what platform they use.!

  45. I think it would be a good idea if we all encouraged the violators to stop by not rising to the invitation to meet them on their level. Reminding one another that we are members of the body of Christ. And that we shouldn't act that way defending a president, a party, a political ideology, whatever the matter, when it comes to degrading ourselves or eroding our own community into a written version of fisticuffs. Typing words meaning to hurt someone with them isn't making a point for an issue we're defending. It's making a point that we're able to be led from the peace in the grace of God and into the chaos of the world and its lord instead. P.S I'll see if I can find out what format they use at the other site.

  46. No, disagreeing with someone and if they do not have the same interpretation of Scripture is not a good reason to ignore someone but if after repeated incidents of haughty, bullying and harassing behavior then that is a good reason to not want to communicate with that person again. We are not door mats for toxic behavior.
    1 point
  47. I don't think I would put someone on ignore for disagreeing with me. Or if I disagree with them. I would do it if they called me names and made me cry. But I can take a disagreement. If I put everyone on ignore here who disagreed with me I would talking to myself.

  48. I am all for putting someone on ignore especially if a member has been bullied and harassed by another member. But I am not for someone making a public announcement " I am putting you on ignore". It is just not called for and it is a threatening move. If a person feels that they need to put someone on ignore just do it.
