Sin is the obstacle which interferes with the search for truth. Just as we are always searching to learn more, to grow closer, so too do obstacles still spring up and so too do they present an issue. It is not possible for us to be completely without sin on this Earth; never a day goes by where a guy doesn't sin in this way or that way, perhaps even unknowingly.
