From Daily Blessings....by J. C. Philpot “You will subdue our iniquities; and will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” - Mic 7:19 Sin subdued is the next greatest blessing to sin pardoned; and wherever God pardons sin, he subdues sin; for the same grace which saves sanctifies; the same grace which casts sin behind God’s back, puts its foot upon the corruptions of the believer, and prevents iniquity from having dominion over him. The Scripture is very plain and express upon this point. “Sin shall not have dominion over you.” Why? “Because you are not under the law,” which gives sin its strength and power, “but under grace,” which is able to subdue its dominion. Nor do I believe that any child of God can ever rest satisfied except by the subduing of his sins as well as the pardoning of them. To have his unbelief, infidelity, worldly-mindedness, pride, and covetousness subdued by the grace of God, its power taken out of it, its dominion dethroned, its authority destroyed, and its strength weakened and diminished, that he may not be under the dominion of any lust, or carried away by the strength of any secret or open sin, but may walk before God in the light of his countenance, as desirous to know his will and do it—this is the desire and breathing of every one that knows sin in its guilt, filth, and power. How gracious, then, is the promise, how sweet the favor, that the Lord has promised to subdue our iniquities by the same grace as that whereby he pardons them; that, as we receive the blood of Christ to sprinkle the conscience, so we receive the grace of Christ to sanctify and renew the soul, and the strength of Christ to overcome all our inward and outward foes.2 points

Andy Atheist Wrote: "If God is all knowing (Omniscient} then it logically follows that if God knows today, what choices I will make tomorrow, then I have no choice tomorrow to do anything other than to make the choice that God knew I would choose."___Andy Atheist JAG Replies: Yes it is true that since God is Omniscient and knows the future and knows what you will choose to do, then you will do that which He knows that you will do. But , , , that does NOT mean that you did not freely choose to do that which He knew you would do. Here we need to understand what Free Will means. Free Will means there is no Force external to you, that forces you to do, that which you do not want to do. God merely knowing what you will choose to do, does not mean that God forces you to do, that which He knew you would choose to do. Nor does it mean that you did not want to do it. You did want to do it. Your Free Will freely chose to do whatever you did. It Is Vital To Remember That , , , Free Will means that there is no Force outside of you, that is forcing or coercing you into choosing to do that which is against what you want to do. The fact that God knows what you will choose to do, does not mean that there was any Force-Outside-Of-You coercing you to do that which God knew you would choose to do. __________ Secular Laws , , , Free Will is a secular truth, and not only a religious truth; How so? Because all of Civilized Humanity recognizes the legitimacy of the institution of Free Will and has legislated human Free Will into law. the Law says humans are responsible for their choices. The Law recognizes the legitimacy of the Institution of human Free Will. Keeping in mind what Andy Atheist said, read this dialogue between Henry and The Judge. Henry: Your Honor, yes it is true that I robbed that bank and in the process I killed three bank tellers, but Your Honor, God is Omniscient and God knew I would rob the bank and kill those three tellers, so Your Honor its not my fault that I committed this crime, I merely did what God knew I would do. The Judge: Oh okay, Henry. I understand. Thanks for explaining. Case dismissed. So? So humans Are Responsible For Their Free Will Choices. So all this talk about Free Will NOT being a true, valid, and legitimate explanation of why humans are personally responsible before God for the evil choices they make is irrational and belongs in the basement below the basement where unproductive totally-useless abstract philosophical academic speculations blathers on and on and on. Nothing said by humans can invalidate this truth: Humans Are Responsible For Their Free Will Choices. _________ Many Atheists blame God , , , However my view is that the air-tight solid truth demonstrated in the conversation between Henry and The Judge, will be dismissed as nonsense by most atheists and the irrational assault on the institution of human Free Will as a legitimate and valid explanation of human evil and sin will continue as if Henry and The Judge had never been presented. Why? Because atheists who remain atheists are not going to ever give up blaming God for the evil in the world -- and thereby excusing themselves for their own Free Will evil choices to do evil. What does Henry and The Judge demonstrate? That Humans Are Responsible For Their Free Will Choices. -- and to say otherwise reduces to absurd-nonsense. The Coming Judgment , , , One last point: Not only does all of Civilized Law recognize Free Will as a legitimate explanation for human evil choices, but so does God and the Bible and God's laws regarding Free Will will be applied at The Judgment just as man's laws regarding Free Will are applied in Human Courts. What does that mean? It means that human Free Will choices will determine human Eternal destiny. John 3:16 asks humans to make a choice. Joshua 24:15 asks humans to make a choice. "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." ___Joshua 24:152 points

The linked site does not like my ad-blocker, so it will not let me in unless I disable it. Would you be so kind as to copy the article in a post so I can read it? Thanks. As for the lunacy of the far right and left goes, it is only going to get a lot crazier due to the politicians refuse to stop them. They are too worried they will not get re-elected if they step in to cease the destruction. How's that for craziness!2 points

I thought I would open this post on the "crazy leftists" and what they are doing as a place to share similar articles. I Am not doing this to make a political point, But just to show the lack of common sense in these young people, (and some older ones too)…. Then I thought why not make this an equal opportunity post and include both lunacy on the left and the right, and then we can compare the two... NO POLITICAL FIGHTING HERE>>> Just expressing a lack of common sense.... Just post lunacy of the left or right and the article. Have fun with this. My first contribution is the lunacy of the left.... Since I am a conservative, my articles will lean this way.... But I do know many right wing people who lack common sense as well. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/06/ignorant-leftists-tear-statute-behead-throw-wisconsin-lake-statue-civil-war-abolitionist-hero-died-effort-end-slavery/1 point

There is no bride mentioned in these two chapters. The word "white" is not even in ch. 5. Chapter 19 is mostly about Jesus conquering His enemies. The bride is in 3 verses. Nowhere in ch. 4 or 5 is any mention of Jesus and His army slaying anyone. NO time marker for 7 years in those chapters OR ch. 14........ , just like Rev. 14 does, which is Te Harvest Chapter. Rev. chapter 11 is the Two-Witnesses Ministry Chapter. Rev. 12 is the Woman Fleeing Chapter, Rev. 13 is the Beast Arising Chapter, Rev. 18 is the Harlot Chapter, Rev. 18 is the world {Babylon} being judged Chapter. They are all Parenthetical Citation Chapters. Rev. 8,9, 15&16 are the only Judgment Chapters, they cover the true 42 moths of Gods Wrath. Why go on? Let's stick to what the bible SAYS............1 point

Well speaking for myself.. I DON'T like being told where to sit (left/right) haha. When we think about news and truth. I think a show on TV said it best "the truth is out there" lol Thank you but I will pass. I can also see this going one way. I will say its so shocking to me that every show, late night show on those networks are against Trump. So if you want to see all the errors and goof ups you watch the left. If you want to see only good you watch the ONE on the right. Even there its not balanced. You have to go out side of both to get true news. But to simple show the silly stuff. na1 point

Small Dawsonville, Georgia (population 619 according to the 2000 census) can have a Chick-fil-A; of course, the city is 97 percent white and zero percent Black. Georgia’s population breakdown is 55.9 percent white and 30.5 percent Black. 137 restaurants were located in majority-white areas. 16 restaurants were located in majority-Black areas, with 75 percent of those in cities that were majority white when the restaurant was constructed. Despite the famed Historically Black Colleges and Universites (HBCU) located in Atlanta, only one Georgia HBCU has a Chick-fil-A –- Albany State. Georgia Tech (62 percent white, 6 percent Black); UGA (80 percent white, 8 percent Black); West Georgia (78 percent white, 20 percent Black); Valdosta State (76 percent white, 20 percent Black; Berry College (92 percent white, 1 percent Black); Kennesaw State (69 percent white, 13 percent Black); and Mercer University in Macon (72 percent white, 17 percent Black). Hiram, Georgia, a town that is 60 percent white and 40 percent Black, has a Chick-fil-A location opened in zip code 30141 – which is 91 percent white and 7 percent Black. A Chick-fil-A location opened in zip code 30341 (which is 85 percent white and .84 Black), is located in Clayton County… a county that is roughly 70 percent Black. The majority of the Fulton County Chick-fil-A’s (outside of hospital or one at Georgia State University) are in North Fulton; an area that is overwhelmingly white. Chick-fil-A locations thrive in Alpharetta (72 percent white, 11 percent Black), with four separate locations; Peachtree City (87 percent white, 6 percent Black) with three locations; McDonough (76 percent white, 19 percent Black) with three locations; Roswell (81 percent white, 9 percent Black) with two locations; Kennesaw (64 percent white, 22 percent Black) with three locations; Flowery Branch (80 percent white, 10 percent Black) with two locations; Fayetteville (77 percent white, 20 percent Black) with two locations; Snellville (89 percent white, 5 percent Black) with two locations; Suwanne (84 percent white, 6 percent Black); and Newnan (84 percent white, 12 percent Black) with two locations. The Chick-fil-A in majority Black Madison, Georgia is located in a zip code (30650) that is 64 percent white and 34 percent Black). Strangely, few majority Black areas (virtually none in South Fulton County, and only one – Lithonia – in a majority Black zip code in DeKalb County) have Chick-fil-A’s. The question has to be asked now, based on the empirical evidence we have garnered from a look at the 196 Chick-fil-A locations in Georgia (wait, we forgot the one at Greenbriar Mall in DeKalb County, one of the oldest Chick-fil-A locations that closed — because the mall went all-Black. When it opened in the late 1970s, the county was roughly 75 percent white… now it’s only 35 percent white): Is the business model of Chick-fil-A…. racist? Does it conform to the methodology that Steve Sailer laid out in his concept of the Affordable Family Formation (cities with Chick-fil-A’s tend to actually have thriving communities)? Should the Department of Justice look into the locations of Chick-fil-A’s because of some sort of disparate impact in where they open, considering that the clientele that Owners/Operators tend to cater too is overwhelmingly white? Chick-fil-A is reliant on strong communities (which, coincidentally, means white communities) to exist and prosper. Outside of Chick-fil-A’s in areas that went from majority white to majority Black (thus, grandfathered in), the company has a business model that can be accurately described as “racist” – using modern parlance –and shouldn’t just be under assault because of the companies stance on homosexual marriage.1 point

Ephesians 6 tells us "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." continuation of a thesis started in "Pre-Trib, Post Wrath Position." C. We are the High Priest (as one with Christ) and priests (as members of the body) on the order of Melchizedek. Since we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, we ought to be descended of a priestly line, yet we are not of the tribe of Levi. On the other hand we are priests of the order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek was a minister in Salem (which became Jerusalem) having no genealogy, as it is stated in Hebrews 7:1-3:1 point

The rest of my thesis: IV. The Bride One needs to understand the Bride to understand who we are as the Church and part of the Bridegroom. The Bride is Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a word which encompasses the 12 tribes of Israel before the coming of Jeshua the Messiah. Jerusalem has a mother, and the mother is Zion, the Holy Mountain of the Lord. Zion is sometimes substituted for Jerusalem as a name, and this can result in some confusion if the bulk of the evidence is not weighed versus those incidents. To establish that Jerusalem encompasses the tribes of Israel is given by Psalm 116:18-191 point

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. When Jesus Died on the cross for our sins, the kingdom of God was taken from the Jews and given to all those who accepted Christ as their savior. Before Jesus died the high priest would go into the temple and make a blood offering for the sins of the people. He would go through the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; Which had the golden censer, and the Ark of the Covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: When Christ died on the cross and the veil of the temple was rent, the Ark of the Covenant was taken by God. The covenant with the Jews was fulfilled! Jesus was The Lamb of God! No more animal-sacrifices. God gave the last blood sacrifice that God will accept, CHRIST! The veil of the temple was rent signifying that the only way to get to the Holiest of all is through CHRIST! But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. The fleshly children of Israel are not the Spiritual children of Israel. Only those who accept their saviour Jesus Christ! Accept no substitute! God is gathering the Spiritual Children of Israel through Faith in Christ! God has turned the stony heart of the gentiles into children of Abraham. Hallelujah! Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Mat3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to [our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these {stones} to raise up children unto Abraham. 2 Cor:3 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.1 point

Greetings All, Well, I agree Romans makes it plain that God is NOT finished with Israel. Let me first give a very brief outline: Romans 9 Paul laments that Israel rejected their Messiah. Romans 10 Paul goes on to speak of how THEY (in fact anyone) is saved... "How can they hear unless someone is sent. Romans 11 culminates with "has God forsaken Israel (Jacob)?" "God Forbid", they too will be grafted back in when their hearts are changed and the "fulness of the Gentiles be come in (to the kingdom)". Now look at these verses: Deut 4:26-31 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. 28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Now consider thse verses: Romans 11:30-31 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. In the end (latter) days, during the tribulation spoken of by Daniel, the Jews were to be scattered among the nations. And if they were to repent and seek God with all their heart, God would hear their cry and remember the covenant made with them for their "Father's sake". Guess HOW they will hear? Romans 11:31 tells us plainly that it is Christians (primarily gentiles) that will take the message to the Jews, thus showing them mercy, even as we have been shown mercy by God. By the way, Roman 11:15 is very interesting. What do you think "life from the dead" means? How about the "resurrection"? It isn't too long after the Jews are "grafted back in" is the time of the "resurrection". Blessings, Dad Ernie1 point

Paul was afraid Gentiles might eventually feel this way, that they would become wise in their own conceits. So he revealed a mystery: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." Your first post is a very good depiction of hermeneutics into the mystery, but I believe there are 10 distinct mysteries in the Bible. 1. Mystery of the relationship between Christ and the church compared to the husband and wife. Ephesians 5:21-33. 2. Mystery of why blindness has happened come to Israel in part, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. Romans 11 3. Mystery of predestination. Romans 16:25;1 Cor 2:7;Ephesians 1:9;Ephesians 3:9 3. Mystery of the Gentiles entering into the kingdom. Ephesians 3:3-6; Colossians 1:26-27 4. Mystery of Salvation. Ephesians 6:19 5. Mystery of Inquity. 2 Thes 2:7 6. Mystery of Faith. Col 2:2;Col 4:3;1 Timothy 3:9 7. Mystery of Godliness. 1 Timothy 3:16 8. Mystery of Seven Stars and Seven Candlesticks. Rev 1:20 9. Mystery of Babylon. Rev 17 10. Mystery of Ressurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:51;Revelation 10:7;Revelation 11:11-15.1 point

We must remember that the Church already consists of both natural and wild grafted-in branches of the olive tree. In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, all are one. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Galations 3:28 We should pray that more branches be grafted in, both natural and wild. (Edited by mcfly1960 at 8:24 am on Mar. 14, 2002)1 point

We have a lot to learn from the story of Joseph and his 11 brothers as recorded at the end of Genesis. The 11 brothers in Canaan sold Joseph into slavery, who was carried away to Egypt. Later, Joseph by interpreting Pharaoh's dreams, saved Egypt from famine and was rewarded by Pharaoh, who made Joseph ruler over all Egypt. The story ends with Joseph coming to the rescue of his father Jacob and his 11 brothers, who all move to Egypt. Of course, the children of Israel in a later generation become slaves, are freed under Moses, and eventually cross the Jordan back into Canaan, the Promised Land, under the leadership of Joshua. Both Joseph and Joshua, I believe, are prophetic types of Christ. (Edited by mcfly1960 at 4:53 pm on Mar. 13, 2002)1 point
