  1. This is going to be short and sweet. Don't take my word for it, go look this up yourself. Netflix decided to post a movie made in France, that is basically soft-core porn with 11-year-old girls. It is absolutely disgusting. Purely and entirely disgusting at many levels. It involves underage girls dressing in street-walker outfits, doing sexualized dance moves like twerking (not going to explain that, you can look it up on your own), and being ridiculous. This apparently was *not* considered controversial in France, which tells you how very very far France has fallen morally. The bottom line is, Netflix has decided that this Pro-pedophilia film is perfectly fine, and has even been so bold as to tell critics "Go watch the film." Now I have to tell you, that I am generally against boycotts and complaining about what the pagans do, because it is foolish to expect people who don't know or believe in Christianity, to follow Christian belief. But this is too far. This is not just pagans having pagan views, this direct support of pedophilia.... and then DEFENDING the pedophilia. There is no other way to view this. They are directly defending and supporting the hyper sexualizing of underage girls. This isn't even sweet 16, where in history past, 16 year olds were expected to grow up, and move towards finding a husband. We're talking about 11 to 14 year olds, dressed like they are working in a strip club. Skin tight, highly revealing, extremely sexual. Bottom line is.... My advice to all of you, if any of this matters to you, you should cancel your Netflix account. No christian should be directly or indirectly supporting this, by giving your G-d given money to a company that supports pedophilia. So I'll say it bluntly. Cancel your Netflix. If we allow support of Pedophilia to go without opposition, then we are not the salt of the Earth anymore. We are accomplices in evil.

  2. Amen Brother. Preach on. I don't know how anyone can sit there and say "Well this is just a matter of personal conviction". To me, that's almost like "sponsoring sex trafficking is a matter of personal conviction"... this is insane. We have a company saying that having 11-year-old girls twerking in prostitute outfits, is perfectly fine and good... and people who say they are Christian saying this should be a matter of personal conviction? I don't know how you can have that position. Honestly, this entire thread was in my opinion just supposed to be an FYI, because I couldn't imagine anyone anywhere even attempting a defense of this. Luke 16:8 Reminds of Jesus saying the children of the world will be wiser than the children of the light. I think we are there now.

  3. I haven't watched the movie so I really don't qualify to judge it.... but I do agree with the supreme court.... we don't live in a theocracy. If they can't show this movie, for the same reasons we can't show the Jesus Film... and I'm sure I would hate this film as much as they do the Jesus Film... and just for the record I have no intention right now of ever watching the thing.. You can't have freedom of speech without all having freedom of speech; and sometimes that sucks... but it is what it is.

  4. Hi DeighAnn You are welcome. I forgot to mention, not only did I receive confirmation of this topic we are discussing with the 'sons of God' that I already understood from the Canon, but most importantly, I found my scripture that I could not find in the Canon; Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, And with that I was very glad! Because that was my mission in the first place. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

  5. A roadblock to understanding is dispensationalism. It's not real. We become Israel or we have no inheritance. Context is king. Dispensationalism is black stain on interpretation and understanding. Israel of God is the context, eternity is the focus, Life in Christ is the truth, death in Christ is life eternal. Physical death is not the end. Therefore the end of the AGE is the context. It's a fact. We have no clue about the passage of time between Jesus' egress from the Temple to when the Olivet discourse was given. It's purely speculation to make up a story based on wishes and hope. Was the private meeting after the Sermon on the Mount? When did Jesus exit the Temple and give the 70 AD prophecy? Who knew what and when and why? These questions must be answered by evidence, not hopeless guesses. True, and I have argued for the relative nature of time in certain context. The problem is no such separation as you suggest can be seen here: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Immediately. And then. And then. And they will see... "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." All of it takes place right then.

  6. Do not get a semi automatic pistol. Too hard for most women to rack the slide quickly. A double action 'wheel gun' or revolver in no less than 38 caliber. Double action because a child cannot have the strength to shoot it. Practise until your arms ache and your hands are sore. Practise with targets no further than 9 feet away and shoot with both hands; single and double hand grip. There are statistics for all this. Do not let anyone get close enough to use pepper spray and only use a taser as a very last resort. Put the taser in an ankle strap, so if you are ever subdued you can reach it easily. Bad guys high on crack laugh at pepper spray. This is hard to say, but if you EVER draw you firearm, make sure your intent is center of body mass and aim to kill. When you are confident enough, do a 'ride along' with a local sheriff or policeman and ask questions, questions, questions. I have had a carry permits and been an FFL in the past. Check on your actual state laws regarding firearm legalities and carry restrictions. The carry permit seminar should explain this well. Beware of 'no guns allowed' on store front doors. The bad guys know these places well. The 'no guns allowed' sign is an open invitation to them!!

  7. This is a direct correlation with Enoch, who was asked by the Watchers to intercede for them with God. He did this and God did not relent. Yeshua visited the same fallen Holy ones to show them that while He was temporarily dead, He would again rise and they would still be there. And the other corrupt holy ones that are addressed in Psalm 82 will also 'die like men'. These are responsible for the pantheons after Babel. The apostle to the gentiles told them God wanted them back now since the scattering was a punishment. 'rise up oh God and take back the nations' (Psalm 82). The word 'rise' is the same as used in 'resurrection'. God plays the long game, but always gets it right and on time!!

  9. You have a good point about some very public scandals in the RCC and in evangelical churches. The Church as a whole has lost the moral "high ground" in a lot of things, especially when you consider the divorce rate in many churches is the same as or worse than the world. Something we all need to reminded of though: The President is a fallen human being no matter who is in office at the time. That mean he's not perfect. Because we're all fallen human beings and that includes everyone from the current president on down. We're all sinners in the end and the only answer for that is Jesus Christ. Not interested in turning this political. That is a subject for another thread.

  10. I've been known to give to people who are asking on the street if I have cash. I'll also sometimes carry gift cards to various fast food places to hand out. I try to ask the Lord for direction and guidance, sometimes I feel Him tell me no and I don't give in those instances. I used to carry plastic bags with clean socks, bottled water, and some snacks in it but I fail to remember to restock those sadly and go months without having it handy. I always try to keep in mind that I'm just a couple pay checks away from being in their shoes. I'm blessed and feel like I should try to share in what the Lord has given to me, whether they're lying or not doesn't take away from that fact that it's "more blessed to give".

  11. Just wanted to remember/memorialize the brave passengers and what happened 19 years ago. Do you remember where you were or what you were doing when the planes flew into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center? I heard about the first plane, and so immediately started to watch TV, so I saw the subsequent tragedies in NYC, Pennsylvania and the Pentagon in DC. I remember the brave passengers of Flight 93 who fought against the terrorists, so the plane would crash in the Pennsylvania countryside....rather than in Washington DC. Flight 93 crashed near Pittsburgh where I was raised. There is a beautiful mural in a little chapel at the crash site. The mural shows the planes crashing and the hands of God reaching out to them from the clouds. Couldn't find a photo of the mural to post. My friend sent me photographs of it and the Flight 93 Memorial. She cried upon seeing the mural.

  13. Sheep, Shepherds and Wolves ----------------------- The flock was about its usual business: laughing, joking, discussing this and that, when, suddenly, an old ram charged, as fast as his legs would carry him. He ran past the little groups, chatting and chewing, past the shepherds, lounging and watching, then, with steely determination and every ounce of his strength, he rammed the wolf with his broken horns. The wolf reeled backwards; but, being ferocious, and with that hideous strength that is part of his nature, he snarled and bit and clawed the ram. The ram kept butting, and the wolf retreated, bruised, to get more of his pack. Exhausted, bloody and alone, the ram returned to the flock. The reclining shepherds watched him limp past and said, "We did advise the wolf that he was in the wrong; but you really need to step back and calm down.". The numerous little chat-groups muttered to each other that the ram was too aggressive and they quite liked the wolves anyway. The ram made it to his spot in the grass and slumped down, to recover. A few other rams and ewes joined him, fresh from their own clashes with wolves and they strengthened each other. ----------------------------------------------------------------- We are in a war, whether we like it or not. The Lord commands us to contend earnestly for the faith, once for all delivered to the saints. This should not be left to a faithful few, who are then rebuked or ostracized for doing what they are supposed to do. When Legalists, Universalists, anti-Trinitarians, Kenosis heretics (who deny that Jesus had all the attributes of God, during his earthly ministry), Evolutionists, those who cast doubt on the Bible, etc. attack the flock with their vile false teachings, don't just sit around, join in and drive them away, if they won't repent. It's all well and good to encourage each other and discuss interesting matters; but don't leave the unpleasant tasks to a tiny minority. Do you think they want to spend much of their time fighting off wolves, with almost no help? No, of course they don't; but, someone HAS to do it, so, when duty calls, the faithful few will carry on, as long as they are able. The ones who are new to the faith can watch, learn and pray, but the mature ones should know better. Limp-wristed advice, a couldn't-care-less attitude, sticking your head in the sand, rebuking the ones who should be supported, or ignoring them, are NOT godly approaches! Jude 3 (VW) Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Acts 20:28-31 (EMTV) 28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of the Lord, and of God, which He purchased with His own blood. 29 For I know this, that savage wolves will come in after my departure, not sparing the flock. 30 Also from among you yourselves will arise men speaking things having been distorted, in order to draw away the disciples after them. 31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years, night and day I did not cease, with tears, exhorting each one.

  14. Our God and Father declared in Isaiah that only a remnant of physical Israel will be saved when He is about to finish His Word upon the earth: Romans 9:27-28 And Isaiah crieth concerning Israel, If the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that shall be saved: (28) for the Lord will execute his word upon the earth, finishing it and cutting it short. But two chapters later our God and Father is declaring “all Israel” shall be saved: Romans 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The only way for this to be true is if our God and Father declared from the beginning that the commonwealth of Israel will be made up of many Jews and Gentiles grafted into ONE olive tree through the “election of grace”. Some description was added in parenthesizes within Romans chapter 11 to help demonstrate that the ONE olive tree is made made up of both Jew and Gentile believers who will be called “all Israel“: Romans 11:1-32 I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I (Paul) also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (2) God did not cast off his people(Jews) which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel: (3) Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. (4) But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men(Jews), who have not bowed the knee to Baal. (5) Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant(of Jews) according to the election of grace. (6) But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. (7) What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he(Israel) obtained not; but the election(a chosen remnant of Jews) obtained it, and the rest(the majority of the Jews) were hardened: (8) according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day. (9) And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, And a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them(the majority of the Jews): (10) Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, And bow thou down their back always. (11) I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their(the majority of the Jews) fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. (12) Now if their(the majority of the Jews) fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? (13) But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I (Paul) am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry; (14) if by any means I may provoke to jealousy them that are my flesh, and may save some of them(a chosen remnant of Jews). (15) For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? (16) And if the firstfruit(Jesus) is holy, so is the lump(Israel): and if the root(Jesus) is holy, so are the branches(individual believing Jews). (17) But if some of the branches(unbelieving Jews) were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive(believing Gentiles), wast grafted in among them(believing Jews), and didst become partaker with them(believing Jews) of the root(Jesus) of the fatness of the olive tree(Israel); (18) glory not over the branches(believing Jews): but if thou(believing Gentiles) gloriest, it is not thou(believing Gentiles) that bearest the root(Jesus), but the root thee(believing Gentiles). (19) Thou wilt say then, branches(unbelieving Jews) were broken off, that I (believing Gentiles) might be grafted in. (20) Well; by their(unbelieving Jews) unbelief they were broken off, and thou(believing Gentiles) standest by thy faith. Be not highminded, but fear: (21) for if God spared not the natural branches(Jews), neither will he spare thee(Gentiles). (22) Behold then the goodness and severity of God: toward them(unbelieving Jews) that fell, severity; but toward thee(believing Gentiles), God’s goodness, if thou(believing Gentiles) continue in his goodness: otherwise thou(believing Gentiles that fall) also shalt be cut off. (23) And they also, if they(unbelieving Jews) continue not in their unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them(believing Jews) in again. (24) For if thou(believing Gentiles) wast cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree(all Gentiles), and wast grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree(Israel); how much more shall these(Jews), which are the natural branches(Jews), be grafted into their own olive tree(Israel)? (25) For I would not, brethren(believing Jews and believing Gentiles), have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel(the majority of the Jews), until the fulness of the Gentiles(all the believing Gentiles) be come in; (26) and so all Israel(all the believing Jews and believing Gentiles elected by grace from the foundation of the world) shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness(all the unbelieving Jews cut off their olive tree) from Jacob: (27) And this is my covenant unto them(Jews), When I shall take away their sins. (28) As touching the gospel, they(unbelieving Jews) are enemies for your(believing Gentiles) sake: but as touching the election, they(believing Jews) are beloved for the fathers’ sake. (29) For the gifts and the calling of God are not repented of. (30) For as ye(believing Gentiles) in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their(unbelieving Jews) disobedience, (31) even so have these(unbelieving Jews) also now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you(believing Gentiles) they(believing Jews) also may now obtain mercy. So the mystery is the commonwealth of Israel is made up of only those believing Jews and believing Gentiles who are not broken off of that ONE olive tree called “all Israel”! Some try to accuse this inclusion of the Gentile church into the commonwealth of Israel as replacement theology but Paul made it very clear that God always intended on making both believing Jews and believing Gentiles one people: Romans 9:22-26 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction: (23) and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory, (24) even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? (25) As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved. (26) And it shall be, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, There shall they be called sons of the living God. The new covenant was made through Jesus’ blood and includes the salvation of souls from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation including physical Israel who all become one holy nation in Christ: Revelation 5:9-10 And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, (10) and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth 1 Peter 2:9-10 But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Jesus declared that both the flock of believing physical Israel and the flock of believing Gentiles will become ONE flock with ONE shepherd: John 10:16 And other sheep(Gentiles) I have, which are not of this fold(Jews): them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and they shall become one flock, one shepherd. 18. I encountered the Book of Enoch for the first time in 1997 while I was staying with a community of believers in the countryside. The elder who preached the Gospel to me had a wonderful library our brother @Justin Adams would likely approve of: interlinear bibles... the only English LXX (Septuagint) in print I've come across... a complete set of the "Ante-Nicene Fathers" being writings attributed to early Christians from the time of the apostles until the 4th century (300 AD)... and much more. I was his student and so our brother's library was open to me. I would sit "indian style" and read for hours on end forgetting about the passage of time. I had to pull myself upright because my legs were locked in position! As a result I'm familiar with apocryphal books which many have never heard of and are denounced by some who adhere to the reformed canon. We've lost much over the past 1900 years, a temporal line of demarcation I recognize as the time when the falling away started in earnest. Hatred of Jews starts cropping up among Christians after John, the last surviving apostle, disappears from the record. What were the "Scriptures" to the Lord and the apostles? The LXX. The Book of Enoch was also widely known during their time.

  20. Can a man save himself? Once saved, what can a man do to stay saved? Does he somehow have an ability to undo what God has done? This sets up an absurdity...Eternal Life is a Gift and a very real thing. To be 'In Christ' is a work only God can do and a man has no more power to get into Christ than he does to get out of Christ. You have to understand the work of the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension...it is a matter of history. Your history, if you are 'In Christ'. It is all about the work of Christ according to the Father's will. Not by your will, the flesh or effort of any kind. Grace via the Gift of Faith. While you were a sinner--He did this for you. He made you 'Alive'. These things are not some mythical semantic, but rather actual events in time. Your life is hidden with Christ in God.

  23. A few are homeless by choice but NOT “all” homeless are homeless by choice. Many are homeless because of circumstances that they had no control over. Those that are homeless by choice may feel a deep sense of hopelessness and feel valueless. And no wonder that they do, given the attitude of many passersby who would rather pretend the homeless don't exist. Or make false assumptions about them. Such negative attitudes dehumanize the homeless. How we think, and speak of and treat others says more about ourselves than those around us. To say that every homeless person abuses drugs or alcohol is false. There are plenty of people that have well paying jobs and homes, plus cars, etc.… And yet abuse drugs or alcohol. How different they are treated and thought of than the homeless. This is shameful and sinful. Even if a homeless person has a drug addiction, or mental illness; he or she deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion. NOT our scorn. It's good to fill a homeless person's belly with food, but society expects their clothes and hair to be clean and pressed, and their hair combed. It takes cash to purchase laundry soap and operate a washing machine and drier at a laundry mat. It takes cash to obtain body soap and shampoo. It takes cash for many other small and simple things that most of us take for granted, because we have the financial means to get these things for ourselves.

  24. When we talk about 'the canon' we are normally only talking about the Reformed Canon. There are many other books referred to in the NT. Yes even Enoch. There are over 300 allusions and re-quotes from 1st Enoch in the NT. Most are ignored except the Peter and Jude passages about the 'angels that sinned'. Then in true 'Sethite' misinformation manner these passages are disavowed. Funny that isn't it?? Check out the earlier versions of the Geneva, Tyndale and KJV scriptures. Also read what the second temple rabbis were writing and the church fathers. Some of the early writings were platonic and Greek-Roman influenced of course. Even the apostles referred to this as well in their epistles. It was their worldview and their time and place and contexts.

  25. Hi DeighAnn From all the information shown in the Canon, I had already understood about these 'sons of God' and what they did, the same as you are perceiving from what little information we have been given. I had received that foundation for many years already understanding what it was speaking about exactly, and all those verses I understood, I have posted on here during my conversations with others. So when I went back to this verse in the New Testament reading it again for the zillionth time; Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. I got interested, thinking that maybe I better go back one day and read the Old Testament again, because I couldn't remember what Enoch's testimony was? Then when coming to this scripture; Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, I thought, now I am definitately going to find where Enoch said this. So I searched and searched the OT, and couldn't find. This got me stumped? Seeing as I was not a member of any church, nor had ever had ever been, but only had my two brethren to discuss the scriptures with, I asked them both. The one brethren who had been teaching me since I was a young girl started searching the OT and couldn't find. The other brother told me he had heard there was a book of Enoch floating about there somewhere which he today regrets telling me. So, even being new to the internet in those days, the next day I looked it up online at work, and found this book of Enoch there. I printed the whole thing out right there and then (3 copies), not realising how big this book was. I rushed it over to my brethren and the three of us started reading together. I couldn't understand it at first, the bits we were going through, and was suspicious because the writing style seemed different. It was old and the words they used were not part of my vocabulary, or the same of that in the OT. I was a little deflated to tell you the truth, then the eldest brethren the next day called me and said that he had been reading the copy I gave to him and I'd better come over quick. He acted like he had just found gold, so I went and we started to read together, and he explained things to me. It's there in this book that started off like below, and I too realised that we had found gold, and this book was truly indeed the testimony of Enoch, written before the flood for a testimony, and it was Enoch's testimony - preserved through Noah to pass on to us today as a witness. Too large to be included in the Canon, and too complicated for those who fight against the truth to receive, It has been kept back from the gentiles, and to not all Hebrews was this passed on to, but only to the elect of God has this been received - Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the prophets. So in the end times, has been given and made available to those like me that question everything, and seek more of an explanation of things not spoken about much - but to the others, it is rubbish, and they trample it, like they have trampled the scriptures from the Canon. So to them it is given to not receive nor understand, but to rebuke. And I didn't want to go here again, because I have been here before, and the Canon lays the foundation and is proof of itself that this happened, and that is all I give them, but now you have asked and I have to give to you and watch this get rubbished again and torn to pieces like they did in the past. [Chapter 6] 1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. [Chapter 7] 1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed 4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against 5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and 6 fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

However, you are right in that we are naturally corrupt and WILL make mistakes. If you make a mistake and sin, then just say 'God, today i did this and i'm sorry, please forgive me and i'll repent of it'. Done. Then Jesus blood washes you clean. However, we must do our best to avoid sinning.

  27. Wow. Ok. I don't have a problem with it. I want women to be as armed and able to defend themselves, as much as they can. Now of course ultimately your help is the Lord. I would make that your prayer every day. Doesn't have to be a half our speech... just pray "I have this gun, but you are my protector Lord." Easy enough. And by the way, if at all possible, go learn some self defense. Basic moves to stop someone that is holding you. Plus it's gives you an excuse to do a little work out. But, no this doesn't bother me at all.

  28. Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it. Daniel 1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god. Daniel 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes; Daniel 1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. Syriac - Aramaic - The language that will be used from Chapter 2:4 - Chapter 7 Daniel 1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. Daniel 1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah Daniel 1:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abed-nego. Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. Daniel 1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. Daniel 1:11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Daniel 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. Daniel 1:13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. Daniel 1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Daniel 1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Just as those who after their 10 day trial whom the Holy Spirit will have spoken through will be in better shape than they went in. WATCH GODS ACTIONS THROUGH OUT THESE CHAPTERS AS THEY TELL OF THE PROTECTION WE WILL HAVE DURING THE TRIBULATION Daniel 1:16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Daniel 1:18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel 1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah therefore stood they before the king. Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. Daniel 1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus. ONE of the few people named by God Daniel 2:1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. Daniel 2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. Daniel 2:3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. Daniel 2:4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. Daniel 2:5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. Daniel 2:6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. Daniel 2:7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it. Daniel 2:8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me. Daniel 2:9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. Daniel 2:10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. Daniel 2:11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. Daniel 2:12 For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. Daniel 2:13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. Daniel 2:14 Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: Daniel 2:15 He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. Daniel 2:16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Daniel 2:17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: looking to find truth? commune with other Christians Daniel 2:18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Daniel 2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever for wisdom and might are His Daniel 2:21 And He changeth the times and the seasons He removeth kings, and setteth up kings He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him. Daniel 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. Who will we be given up TO in the end times? How does GOD PROTECT? GOD GIVES US WHAT WE NEED Daniel 2:24 Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. Daniel 2:25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. Daniel 2:26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel 2:27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; Daniel 2:29 As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter and He that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. Daniel 2:30 But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. Daniel 2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. Daniel 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. The wind-Holy Spirit became - CHRIST MOUNTAIN - KINGDOM Daniel 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. Daniel 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath He given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. Daniel 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. Daniel 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. Daniel 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. Daniel 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, THEY shall mingle themselves with the seed of men but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. LIKE IN THE DAYS OF NOAH, TAKING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE. MIGHTY The 10 leaders that Satan brings with him THEY shall mingle with the seed of men 1 Corinthians 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 1 Corinthians 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head BECAUSE OF THE ANGELS Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Last kingdom is a mix of those before it AND shall be destroyed WHEN Gods kingdom set for ever Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. Bringing all those kingdoms together as one time, the end time. Daniel 2:46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. Daniel 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Daniel 2:48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Daniel 2:49 Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. This image is JUST GOLD. So this image is just a TYPE of what will be in that last kingdom. All the other kingdoms must come to pass before the "image" spoken of in Rev is set up. BUT WHAT ARE WE REALLY BEING TAUGHT ABOUT THE END TIMES? HOW GOD PROTECTS. AND THAT IS WHERE OUR EYES SHOULD FOCUS. THAT IS WHAT OUR GOSPEL ARMOR GIVES US. PROTECTION 60, 6 Daniel 3:2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Daniel 3:3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Daniel 3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, Daniel 3:5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet 1, flute 2, harp 3, sackbut 4, psaltery 5, dulcimer 6, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up 6 Daniel 3:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 6 Daniel 3:8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. Daniel 3:9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. Daniel 3:10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image 6 Daniel 3:11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king. Daniel 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? Daniel 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. Daniel 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. Daniel 3:20 And he commanded the most MIGHTY men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. SLEW WHO? THEM. NOT US Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Yes, Tribulation is coming. BUT WE have GODS PROTECTION. AND CHRIST WITH US. Daniel 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire. Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, UPON WHOSE BODIES THE FIRE HAD NO POWER, NOR WAS AN HAIR ON THEIR HEAD SINGED,, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Luke 21:18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. Daniel 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent His angel, and DELIVERED HIS SERVANTS THAT TRUSED IN HIM, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. YIELDED THEIR BODIES. THAT IS HOW GOD OPERATES. WE GO THROUGH UNDER HIS PROTECTION. Daniel 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon. Maybe explains why chart doesn't work for me

  29. How sad for you to believe this. Yes, there are some fakers. There are also fake Christians, fake preachers, fake doctors, and fake everything. I've seen street people in New Orleans - drugged out of their minds or else mentally ill - sometimes both. These poor souls, ignored by everyone stepping over them, are NOT faking their plight. My own town has people living under the bridges, under interstate ramps, and in abandoned homes. They are starving, sick, and most mentally ill. I buy them food sometimes if they come up to the street levels. To be this callous to the homeless is sad for me to read.

  31. You know LadyKay you hit this right on the nail. Wrong or right.. being told what to do.. well praise GOD still haha working on that. Much of it is faith based. The other.. since I was so little my mom said my dad told me "don't try to pick up that cinderblock" My mom said I got mad went over and picked it up haha. That part of me? Its still there. LonerAndy thank you for what your saying I truly as all of us here do understand you conviction. But "My point here is that Christians.... not the pagans. Ignore the pagans.... Christian have no business supporting this disgusting crap." <---- in that sentence you used a word..that believers should never use. To make your point this does not help it. The problem you face here is.. your not Christ and you have no right, that means no authority what so ever to tell any other follow of Christ what to do. Now Christ did give you all power over the enemy but not man. As David said "against thee and only thee do I sin and do this evil in your sight". The word says we are not here to please man. And truth? Never seen this once on Netflix that means the tiny movie picture to click and watch. I first heard about this from Fox and thought it was gone until Fox talked about it again. Hey if you need to stop paying for it.. praise God do so.

  33. I was gone from Netflix along time ago. On another note, why would Netflix believe this is inappropriate when they witness scandal after scandal going on in the church? I mean, look at the passionate Christian support for a highly immoral president; thousands of predators abusing kids in the Catholic Church, among other things. It’s hard for Christians with a platform to speak out against this stuff nowadays. But I guess we can warn one another on smaller scales such as this forum or in individual churches. I’m embarrassed to say this, but I snapped last year when I saw my thirteen year old daughter leaving out with a “trendy” outfit on. I didn’t even say anything(was too shocked), I just wrestled it off of her and left out of her room. She laughed later and said she didn’t know I was that strong. Glad she wasn’t traumatized by it. I asked the Lord for forgiveness for losing my temper. Parents need to step up though. Where are these girls parents who are featured in the Netflix series?

  37. No. I am not that easily offended. I just don't have the time now to search through information on 9/11 "what some people think happen" that sort of thing. So you can post what you think happen and who did it. But I don't have the energy right now to debate against that. So I would just sit it out. Though I always seem to find the time for goofy comments.

  43. I believe the answer to this question is maybe. God is a living Person and in the end He will judge each soul individually according to the counsel of His knowledge, wisdom and will. But sin can harden the heart and sear the conscience and lead to falling away from the faith. So why would we play Russian roulette with something so precious as our salvation and do despite to the Spirit of grace....if we know we have sinned or are still sinning in some area we need to stop it. If we find we are stuck and unable to stop, we MUST seek the Lord for His help. He will provide the way out and that way is to yield to His Spirit and follow it. Sometimes we may need to undergo chastisements for a season, but whatever the case may be, the Lord is looking for those whose hearts are perfect towards Him, and that means whole-hearted sincerity in how we treat Him and the salvation that cost Jesus so dearly. If anyone is in a sin and doesn't care, that is a soul in danger.

  44. Sometimes giving is not always what someone must do for those without. A young sister from church was in a grocery store at the checkout counter. She asked the cashier how she was doing. The cashier unloaded, telling her she was struggling, just wanted to get home and put her feet up and eat an ice cream cone. After the young sister left, she saw an ice cream parlor a few stores down. She purchased a $5.00 voucher and went back to the store to give it to the young cashier. All those who witnessed such generosity were overwhelmed, and the cashier had tears in her eyes. A very simple thought can turn into a very beautiful experience.

  46. Actually he doesn't. You do, but he doesn't. He's saying we are of the spiritual seed of Abraham. It's that spiritual seed that inherits the kingdom. We are grafted into that natural olive that is true Israel. Anyone who would deny this or create another group distinct from the natural olive tree; a group blessed by God over the Israel of God engages in replacement theology. The standard definition: "Supersessionism, also called replacement theology, is a Christian doctrine which asserts that the New Covenant through Jesus Christ supersedes the Old Covenant, which was made exclusively with the Jewish people. In Christianity, supersessionism is a theological view on the current status of the church in relation to the Jewish people and Judaism. It holds that the Christian Church has succeeded the Israelites as the definitive people of God or that the New Covenant has replaced or superseded the Mosaic covenant. From a supersessionist's "point of view, just by continuing to exist , the Jews dissent". Never mind the fact scripture says "if you are in Christ you are the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise." which shows modern Christianity has it backwards. The Jews don't become Christian, believers become the seed of Abraham.

  47. It's funny, those are the exact same things I get accused of when I try to share my bread with others. When I try to share what I have seen in the scriptures, to warn and encourage others of the urgency of the need to grow and serve in the new way of the Spirit not the old way of the letter etc, I am accused of superiority, and of insulting and accusing others. That is due to not understanding what is being said......because only the Holy Spirit can give us understanding of His word. And the bible also says that truth is only revealed to little children, but HID from the wise and learned. The carnal mind cannot perceive the things of the Spirit and that is why Jesus was always being misunderstood and misconstrued and wrongly accused too. But the bible says we are to PROVOKE one another unto good works, so we try not to get discouraged.

  48. Jesus didn't die on a cross to forgive some sins. He died on a cross to forgive all sins, past, present and future. 1 Jno 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Where are all these perfect sinless people? I have never met one. Only Jesus was perfect, which is precisely why his substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind was efficacious. He was the only one who could take away the sins of the world, because he had no sins to die for. Don't forget what sin is. It is not just breaking the ten commandents. It is anything displeasing to God. It is every idle word and thought before it even becomes action. It is anything that falls short of the perfect will of God. In other words it is anything that falls short of the perfect man, Jesus. I am a sinner. I am forgiven. I am because of I AM. I am because Jesus was, is, and ever shall be.

  49. If that were the case, and there is no need for watchmen, then why have preachers and teachers? They have the Holy Spirit inside them, leading them to all truth, right? God has ordained men to lead the saints to walking in the FREE INDEED Jesus promised us. But those men themselves must first be walking there, with lives lived as examples to the flock demonstrating how sure and rich His promises are. Do you think it is just the lost deceived religious tares and not Christians in the church who are doing "that wicked stuff"? The word given to Laodecia was given to the church, not to those outside of it. We so want to squirm out of any conviction of wrongdoing, thinking that because we have grace, we have need of nothing. This is the very sin laid at the feet of Laodecia. But true grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. It's purpose is to lead us..... to cause us... to live lives worthy of our calling, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives. Is it only unsaved deceived people in church who are living materialistic lives or who are bound by secret sexual lusts driven by one click of a button on our computers? The sin, dear brother, is in the church, in His children. Multitudes of saved people are 'healed, but only slightly', with no hunger for heart purity or holiness. Most do not even think it possible, so why sweat it? We cannot put off the shallowness of the church on lost people who have infiltrated our ranks. We should be lifting them up to our standard, but instead, they have brought us down to theirs. It is time we took the conviction of God to heart, and admitted our shallowness and secret little sins, sins we have no desire to part with. God can and will heal us, but we must want it more than our next breath. Self must climb off the throne of our lives. In these upcoming final days, each one of us will make our choice.... THE choice.... as to who we will serve. Obedience to self and sin or obedience to righteousness. No, we cannot do it. BUT.... we can want it. So..... do we? God is fully able to deliver us from the power of sin and from the grip of our old nature, but until we long for it, until we see ourselves as wretched men, bringing shame to the name of our God by our compromise and lack of hunger for more, we will continue to draw near Him with our lips, but with our hearts far from Him. blessings, Gids
