Now think about that MM. Is Jesus, maker of the Universe and the angelic realm, going to just be in a room? And then when Satan and his fallen angels come against Jerusalem, what does He do? Seemingly from your picture - nothing, for it is fire that comes down from heaven. Jesus is not just a man.

Let`s have a good look at the authority and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is King of glory.

Jesus is King of Heaven.

Jesus is King of the Ages.

Jesus is the Kingpriest over other kingpriests, (The Body of Christ) (the highest realm)

Jesus is King over the New Jerusalem. (the lower heavens)

Jesus is King over Israel. (on earth)

Jesus is King over Judah.

Jesus is King over the nations.

Now where did Jesus get all that authority and power? Did someone on earth appoint Him. of course not. We know that the Father has made His Son the supreme sovereign over all His great Kingdom. Jesus told Pilate, that His kingdom/His rulership is not from this world.

Remember the Father  -

`seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET.` (Eph. 1: 20 - 22)

Yes Scripture does reveal the Truth.

Ezk 43:6,7 - While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the Temple.  He said; Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet.  This is where I will live among the Israelites forever.  The house of Israel will never again defile my holy name..........

Zech 14:16,17 - Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.  If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain.

This King, the Lord Almighty is the same as the one whose soles of his feet walk in the Temple in Jerusalem.  The same who will live among the Israelites forever.  Yes Jesus Christ will rule the earth from Jerusalem for 1000 years.

In Christ

And...."

On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem," Jesus comes to the ground and rules from the City as you said.

And....

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,a for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them."

But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.

Hi MM,

So let`s look at what we can agree on. At the end of the Tribulation we know that the Lord Jesus comes physically back to earth with His angelic army. Then there is a series of events -

1.Jesus and His angelic army go over Jerusalem and defend it.

`the Lord of hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill. Like flying birds about, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it: passing over, He will preserve it.` (Isa. 31: 4 & 5)

`this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet…` (Zech. 14: 12)

2. Jesus then stands on the Mount of Olives that splits in two with fresh, living water coming forth.

`the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east.. And the Mount shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley.` (Zech. 14: 3 & 4)

The living waters flow into the valley of Jehoshaphat and mix with the blood of the armies, making the blood come up to the horses` bridles.

`the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses` bridles , for 1,600 furlongs. ` (Rev. 14: 20)

3. Jesus then crosses over to Jerusalem, entering by the Eastern gate. There He meets with the leaders of Israel.

`The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.

….then they will look on me whom they have pierced, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son…` (Zech. 12: 7 & 10)

4. Jesus then judges the nations. People all over the world are either left on earth to go through into the millennium, or they are taken away to final judgment.

`When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him……all the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another..` (Matt. 25: 31 & 32)

`Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.` (Matt. 24: 40)

5. Jesus sends His angels to the four corners of the earth to bring in the scattered Jews.

`And He will send His angels …and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.` (Matt. 24: 31)

`And they (Gentiles) shall bring all your brethren for an offering to the Lord out of all the nations…` (Isa. 66: 20)

6. Jesus then appoints a man called David to be king over Israel. He also appoints some Levities as Priests.

`…they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king whom I will raise up for them.` (Jer. 30: 9)

7. The Priests cleanse the Sanctuary.

`How long will the vision be….For 2,300 days then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.` (Dan. 8: 14)

8. There is great rejoicing at the Festival of Purim. This is the feast of Purim on the 15th of Adar 2. The Jews celebrate the fulfillment of this feast day, commemorating their National deliverance from their enemies.

`Blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1,335 days. ` (Dan. 12: 12)

9. It is now time for the Lord to return to Heaven, His seat of Power and Authority.

`Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. He will subdue the peoples under our feet. He will choose our inheritance or us…..

God has GONE UP WITH A SHOUT, the Lord with the sound of the trumpet….

God reign over the nations; God sits on His holy throne,…`  (Ps. 47)

`Heaven is My throne and earth My footstool.` (Isa. 66: 1)

10. It is now time for the Millennium. All the nations will come up to Jerusalem to worship and learn the ways of God.

`And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.` (Zech. 14: 16)

`Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord` s house … …shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it…He shall teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion the Law shall go forth,..` (Micah 4:  1 & 2)

Hello Marilyn,

Long time. Hope you are well......

In 1 Thes 4:17....." "Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord."

We know from several scriptures that the righteous will reign on earth......eg Rev 5:10. If we will "always be with the Lord", and if we are on the earth ruling, which scripture says we are, then the Lord also has to be here with us.

But...... you say that the Lord will not rule from earth but from heaven, because He goes back up.  Then we will also have to rule from heaven. So, if we come back to the earth after we are called up to heaven at the rapture......then where is the scripture that says that we again go back up? ......I don't know of any!

Hi Joe,

God`s word never says that we, the Body of Christ come back from heaven.

As to Rev. 5: 10, the Greek word is `epi,` meaning OVER or ON.

Thus we need more scriptures to find out which.

Our inheritance, our hope, our place, our citizenship, all of which are IN HEAVEN.

`...to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.` (1 Peter 1: 4 )

` ...because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of truth..`(Col. 1: 5)

` ...and raised us up together and made to sit in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.`(Eph. 2: 6)

` For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly await for the saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.` (Phil. 3: 20)

Shalom, Marilyn C.

This opinion of Yeshua`, the Messiah of God, is INCORRECT! This stance on Yeshua` is NOT based on a true interpretation of the Scriptures; it is based upon a THEOLOGICAL BELIEF SYSTEM that is built upon FAULTY ASSUMPTIONS!

Look, you're starting with some faulty assumptions:

1. There are "lower heavens" and an "upper/higher/highest heaven."
2. "Glory" is referring to a PLACE, instead of a CONDITION!
3. Yeshua` is "the Maker of the Universe and the angelic realm!"

These are ALL based upon THEOLOGICAL RHETORIC, NOT upon the Scriptures! GET BACK TO THE BIBLE as your ONLY truth! SOLA SCRIPTURA!!!
