Hi, welcome to worthy. Congrats on getting saved and for wanting to live as He wants us to live. You are in a tough situation, but I think you already realize what you need to do. Perhaps you should sit down with your boyfriend and explain to him what your beliefs mean to you and how your life has changed. Explain to him that you feel you are outgrowing the relationship because of these changes. Explain how important the Lord is to you. Continue to pray for him. But it is clear that the relationship you have with your boyfriend needs to change. Its possible that the conversation you will have with him will show him Christ. Something similar happened to me.4 points

I know that I'm well over a year late responding to this topic but better late than never. I think what a lot of people fail to understand and why they are deceived by false teacher's is because they get filled with joy and peace during a sermon and lacking discernment automatically think those feelings came from God, not understanding that Satan and his demons can mimic all those feelings. Spiritual discernment is so important, we are in the end times. Most preacher's on tbn are infact false preachers. Always, always, always pray for discernment and ask God is this preacher or teacher from Him. Do not blindly watch every preacher you see on TV. That is a dangerous, dangerous game. I've learned discernment the hard way and it's a very serious thing God's people need more of. Please pray for it. 1 John 4:1 [1]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.3 points

Conversation about the Tribulation and God`s Wrath. I have put together a conversation between two people A & B, to explain what I believe about the Tribulation and God`s Wrath. A. I`ve been studying what the Lord says about the Tribulation to come and God`s Wrath. B. Oh, I thought we`ve always had `tribulation.` You know that word `thlipsis` is a Greek word meaning pressure, affliction, anguish, persecution and tribulation. A. Thanks for that bit of info. And yes `thlipsis,` pressure affliction etc has been throughout the centuries. However I have found out that this particular `thlipsis,` pressure, is special. Let me read what Jesus said - `For there will be great tribulation, (pressure, affliction, anguish, persecution) , such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.` (Matt. 24: 21) B . Wow, that sounds very bad, not a good place to be. So it will be the most difficult time that hasn`t been before and wont happen again. Mmmmm So is it caused by the so called Climate change we hear about, or just natural acceleration of man damaging the world? A. You might think that but actually God says that it is His vengeance to punish the people of the earth. The Greek word is `orge,` and means anger, vengeance, wrath with the connotations of punishment. Listen to this - `..For behold, the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;...` (Isa. 26: 21) B. So you are saying that it is actually God punishing the people of the world for their sins. I`m glad that there will come punishment, but oh, for those who are on the earth, such a terrible time. A. We can rest assured though that God`s hand of mercy will be still outstretched for those who repent of their sins and turn to Him. B. How merciful of God. So let me get this straight. There is coming on the world The Tribulation, with a capital `T` as it has never been like this or ever again, and the reason is - that God is punishing the people of the world for their wickedness. A. That`s right. That is what I believe God`s word says. The Tribulation is unique and the reason is God`s punishment, His wrath. B. Thanks `A` for this very interesting and informative discussion. A. Thanks `B` for sharing also.2 points

We are saved by grace alone through faith aloneand because we are righteous we will do good works. We have been justified apart from the works of the law of Moses. So, the big question is will not obeying the law make me unrighteous?I believe the answer is no, here's why. There is no doubt that sin is defined as breaking God's 10 Commandments. But we see David saying in Psalm 32, "Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity,"Then in Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.Then we have John the Baptist saying in John 1:29," Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."Also Hebrews 9:26 but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. So thanks to Jesus our sin is not an issue. In 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 we see that we are New Creations, and He does not impute our sinsto us, and He makes us righteous, even the righteousness of Christ, which is perfect.2 points

There are so many people lost in this world, and if many of them hear the Gospel for the first time, or just have a little more time, they will acknowledge their need to repent and come to the Lord Jesus. "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful." - Luke 6:36 We are told to wait for the Lord Jesus, to follow Him, and to preach the Gospel while we wait for His coming. "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." - Mark 16:15-16 What prepares our hearts is to have a fellowship with Him daily, by seeking what we need, praying, exhorting, and loving one another. "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." - Matthew 24:362 points

Note that the verse in Luke 22 occurs on the night of the last supper just before Jesus is betrayed in the garden. It does not describe the typical ministry that went on in the years before nor does it describe the ministry of the apostles in the book of Acts. It likely describes a lesson Jesus was teaching His disciples (who were probably expecting the Kingdom of God to be a political and social kingdom where the Romans were expelled and Jesus was set up as king) rather than a command about future ministry. Luke 12 starts out with Jesus speaking to the multitudes and the beginning of chapter 13 is to a crowd as well. It's not clear if verses 27-53 are only to the twelve or a larger group referred to as disciples. Luke uses the term disciples to refer to both the twelve and the larger group of all of His followers. Given that He says similar things in the sermon on the mound to the crowds, I'd lean toward Luke 12:27-40 being more of a statement about life in general than about ministry in particular. Also note that in Luke 10 tells about Jesus sending out the many disciples in addition to the twelve. I'd assume that Luke 22:35 is referring back to the Luke 10 time of ministry. When I read Luke 22:36, my memory of scripture is that Jesus and His disciples (not just the 12 but the wider group of them) did not appear to be walking around armed. Other than Peter taking a hack at someone in the garden during the betrayal, there is no record I can recall in the NT describing believers using a sword. Other than Jesus driving out the moneychangers and their animals in the Temple (using a whip he braided), I cannot recall any other use of force or violence. This suggests to me that Luke 22:36 was probably part of some lesson He was trying to teach or emphasize to the twelve and not a general command. Other than some converts whose occupation included weaponry (the jailer, Cornelius the centurion and any of the crowd in his household that were soldiers), I cannot think of examples of the disciples being armed. (Now, I do not take this as "proof" that all Christians should be pacifists and unarmed nor do I take Luke 22:36 as proof that all Christians should be armed. I think each individual needs to carefully weigh what God would have them do in various situations.) Stepping back to the big picture, over the years I've come to see the main point of reading and studying scripture as learning more about God. When I was a younger Christian, my study of the Bible was focused on learning more about what I was supposed to believe, answering questions, and figuring out what God's commands were for me (and everyone else). I was also really into prophecy because I was worried about what was going to happen. The bottom line is that I was looking to learn everything I could about God and what He had done and would do rather than looking to get to know Him better. Over time, I've found that my focus has become more on learning more about Who God is. In the process of that, I've become much more familiar with individual books of the Bible, the history, culture, geography, politics, etc. surrounding the various books as well as the various ways different Christian sects view different books and passages. As one knows God more and more, the Bible simply becomes easier to understand. It's ironic. When I started out, I took Proverbs 25:2 (It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings) as the primary way of how to approach studying the Bible. That somehow God had concealed hidden truths, patterns, symbols, and facts within the very words of the Bible and that being a diligent student of scripture meant that I should seek those things out. I now approach things from a diametrically opposite point of view. Instead of focusing on finding those things that everyone else has missed or argues about, I focus on better understanding those things that God has clearly and plainly put in scripture.2 points

Alcohol is a mocker and strong drink will cause the strongest of people to fall and commit awful sins. It may seem innocent at the start, but one will turn into two and so on. In the end, the person will be merry... then they will take it too far and get drunk. The next thing you know, they commit adultery, fight, make themselves look like a fool by acting and talking like one. Lusts and covetous acts will also arise as a result and this is not something God wants us to get involved with. Proverbs 23:29-35 KJV 29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. 33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. 34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. 35 They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. Isaiah 28:7-8 KJV 7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. Leviticus 10:9 KJV Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations Proverbs 20:1 KJV Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise Proverbs 31:6 KJV Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Isaiah 5:11 KJV Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! Isaiah 56:12 KJV Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant. Isaiah 24:9 KJV They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.2 points

Why don't you cut out your arguing when you are trying to do so with an empty wagon. Do you see the Church/Bride in heaven for the marriage to the Lamb/Jesus, in Rev.19:7-8? How do you think they got into heaven, as Jesus said in Jn.14:2-3 and 28, and Paul, in 1 Thess.4:17 and 2 Thess.2:3 and 7-8? With Jesus returning in His second coming, WITH HIS CHURCH following him, riding white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven, in verse 14. Case closed! By Gipsy Smith If there is a man or woman who has been trying to live a Christian life and has no joy in it, and no victory in it, and no song in it – I know the reason. It is that they have never repented. They have started wrong. Repentance is the most neglected doctrine in the New Testament and the most unpopular. People do not like to be called to repentance and you do not often hear it preached. And yet the Bible is a handbook of repentance. It enforces it, commands it, and so demands it that no substitute can be accepted for it. Over sixty times the Scriptures enforce it, and all the Epistles are written to show men how to repent, so that no one need be in a fog as to what repentance means, yet multitudes of people are. A spurious repentance means a spurious Christian life, and the reason many church-goers have no joy and peace in the Holy Ghost is because they do not obey the Scripture – “Repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). You ask, “What is repentance?” It is not conviction of sin. Conviction is an element of repentance but you can be convicted without repenting. No one repents until he is convicted, but not all who are convicted do repent. Conviction is not enough. It is not repentance. And, “except ye repent, ye shall…perish” (Luke 13:3). Is sorrow repentance? No, it is not enough to be sorry for your sins. Something more than tears is needed. If repentance is not conviction, and not sorrow, what is it? Is it promising to do better? No. Some of you have been doing that for years and you are further from God than ever. What is repentance? Repentance is turning from sin to God. Repentance is getting hold of that which is your curse by the hair of its head and tearing it out by the roots. Pride is one of them. Pride can be as damning as drunkenness – and is. There is pride of face, pride of place, pride of grace, and pride of race. We need saving from our good self, our religious self, our spiritual self – as much as from our bad self. Satan is very subtle and if he cannot hinder by our badness, he will hinder by our goodness. If he cannot hinder us by our depths, he will hinder by our heights. If he cannot alienate us from God, he will hinder us by our self-righteousness, and if we are not careful he will come to us as an angel of light. Pride, self-righteousness, sham, fraud, hypocrisy, lust, duplicity – the sin in your life which enslaves you, let it go. Kill it – and all other things in your life that are wrong will slink away like so many whipped curs. What is repentance then? It is the moral response of the awakened soul to the call of God, the home of the soul. Have you repented? Have you turned from sin unto God? “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent…As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent” (Rev. 3:2-3, 19).1 point

The Scriptures are crystal clear where Jesus will meet His Church, in 1 Thess.4:17: "After that, we who are still alive and are left, WILL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR. And so we will be with the Lord forever." In the FIRST of His TWO comings, recorded in 1 Thess.4:16, yet to take place, confirming Jn.14:2-3, 28! From where the Church is seen in heaven BEFORE the tribulation begins, in Rev.4:1-2. Where Jesus used John to symbolically represent the Church. Confirming 2 Thess.2:3 and 7-8! Where the Church is seen in heaven later, at the marriage of the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus. While the tribulation is taking place on earth, recorded in Rev.19:7-8. From where Jesus will return to the earth in the SECOND, of His TWO comings, yet to take place, WITH HIS CHURCH, riding white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven, recorded in 19:14, confirming Zech.14:4-5 and Acts 1:6; 1:11; 2:29-30 and 15:16! From which the above Scriptures leave no other options! The difference between the pre-trib rapture of the Church, as delineated above, and the SECOND coming of Jesus are the following facts: 1. Jesus returns to the earth in His second coming, recorded in Zech.14:4-5 and in Acts 1:11. 2. No one meets Jesus in the sky when He returns in His second coming, recorded in Rev.19:14, as they will when He returns for the first time, recorded in 1 Thess.4:16!. 3. Jesus will return from the marriage of the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus, in heaven, in His second coming, to the earth, with His Church, recorded in Rev.19:14, He came for in His first coming, in the clouds of the sky, seven years before, recorded in Jn.14:2-3, 28, 1 Thess.4:16-17 and 2 Thess.2:3 and 7-8. 4. No one returns to the present heaven at Jesus second coming to the earth, because He has come to establish His 1,000 year reign on the throne of David, in the restored kingdom of Israel, as recorded in Acts 1:6; 2:29-30; 15:16; Zech.6:12-13 described in Ez.40-47 and Rev.20:6. In addition to the present heaven and earth being destroyed and will pass away, as recorded in 2 Pet.3:7 and in Rev.21:1. Quasar931 point

In my past life I have been a sinner and not caring what I did and thats how It was when I met my current boyfriend. Three months ago I have been saved by my savior and I take it VERY seriously. But my boyfriend seems as if he is still "lost" and "unsaved". I take in account that I am elected by the Lord and he sees a big change in me, but I do not see one in him. He continues to live his life in Sin and believes "God will understand". He continues to smoke marijuana, drink alcohol where the holy spirit is no longer in control, uses profanity, and Gods name in vain. I am honestly out growing this relationship because he has yet to try to change for the Lord. He comes to church with me, but I feel hes not there for the right reasons. He also believes he doesnt always have to go to church. I want advice on what I should do and how I should come about this. I no longer have pre marital sex, and I have changed my life around because I WANT to live for GOD, not myself. Should I continue to pray for him? Someone please help. God does not approve of someone dating or marrying an unsaved person. Please what should I do?1 point

Quote from Church Father Anatolius: • Anatolius - (Third Century)- Ante Nicene Fathers - Book 6 - Section 5 But I shall pass on without demanding such copious demonstrations (on subjects ) from which the veil of the Mosaic law has been removed; for now it remains for us with unveiled face to behold ever as in a glass Christ Himself and the doctrines and sufferings of Christ. Church Father Origen talking about The Book of Enoch: • Origen - de Principiis - Book 1 - Chapter 3 - Section 3 (185-254 A.D.) That all things were created by God, and that there is no creature which exists but has derived from Him its being, is established from many declarations of Scripture; those assertions being refuted and rejected which are falsely alleged by some respecting the existence either of a matter co-eternal with God, or of unbegotten souls, in which they would have it that God implanted not so much the power of existence, as equality and order. For even in that little treatise called The Pastor or Angel of Repentance, composed by Hennas, we have the following: "First of all, believe that there is one God who created and arranged all things; who, when nothing formerly existed, caused all things to be; who Himself contains all things, but Himself is contained by none." And In The Book Of Enoch Also We Have Similar Descriptions. http://ecmarsh.com/fathers/anf/ANF-04/anf04-45.htm#P6244_11010101 point

A review of verse 14 reveals the Church following Jesus, in His second coming, from their marriage in heaven, in verses 7-8, riding white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven. In verses 17 tyrough 21, Jesus is fighting the battle of Armageddon with His armies from heaven, against the two beasts,i.e., the Antichrist nd False Prophet, and the ten horns/nations allied to them. The two beasts re thrown into the lake of fire and the armies of the ten horns/nations are destroyed...ending the seven year tribulation. Quasar931 point

When you asked Jesus Christ into your life you became a child of God. That means that all relationships can not be unevenly yoked. If you stay with this guy it would not be a good thing. You need to sit down with this guy and have a talk. Tell him that Jesus Christ is number one in your life and if he will not except Jesus as His Lord and Savior you will no longer be in a relationship. Then you need to give your life including your future relationships to God. Ask Him if He has a person who loves the Lord in His plan for you. Sit back and see what He does in your life.1 point

Let me just clarify this a little better. This is who Jesus is coming for in Revelation 19. Revelation 19:13-21New King James Version (NKJV) 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” 19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.1 point

In addition the bible consistently refers to the " Day Of The Lord " as the day the Lord , in person, proactively executes judgement & destruction upon all His enemies on earth . That would most definitely include Satan's antichrist , his minions , and all other tribulation personal There would be no tribulation going on . Not for even single day , post Day of The Lord , let alone for years since all Satan's people will have been vanquished . There will be no enemies of the Lord around to run a tribulation when they Day of the Lord destroys them . " Behold , the DAY OF THE LORD cometh cruel both with wrath and fierce anger to lay the land desolate, and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it . " ( Isaiah 13 : 9 )1 point

A Collective Post of 1 Enoch Scriptures that Glorify Yeshua Messiah: And at that hour that Son of Man was named In the presence of the Lord of Spirits, And His Name before the Head of Days. Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, Before the stars of the heaven were made, His Name was named before the Lord of Spirits. He shall be a staff to the righteous whereon to stay themselves and not fall, And He Shall Be The Light Of The Gentiles, And The Hope Of Those Who Are Troubled Of Heart. All Who Dwell On Earth Shall Fall Down And Worship Before Him, And will praise and bless and celebrate with song the Lord of Spirits. And for this reason hath He been chosen and hidden before Him, Before the creation of the world and for evermore. • 1 Enoch 48:2-6 And from henceforth there shall be nothing corruptible; For That Son of Man has appeared, And Has Seated Himself On The Throne Of His Glory, And all evil shall pass away before His Face, And the word of that Son of Man shall go forth And be strong before the Lord of Spirits. • 1 Enoch 69:29 And there was great joy amongst them, And they blessed and glorified and extolled Because the name of that Son of Man had been revealed unto them. And He Sat On The Throne Of His Glory, And The Sum of Judgement Was Given Unto The Son Of Man, And He caused the sinners to pass away and be destroyed from off the face of the earth, And those who have led the world astray. • 1 Enoch 69:26-27 On that day Mine Elect One shall sit on the throne of glory And shall try their works, And their places of rest shall be innumerable. And their souls shall grow strong within them when they see Mine Elect Ones, And those who have called upon My glorious name: Then will I cause Mine Elect One to dwell among them. And I will transform the heaven and make it an eternal blessing and light • 1 Enoch 45:3-4 And there I saw One who had a head of days, And His head was white like wool, And with Him was another being whose countenance had the appearance of a man, And his face was full of graciousness, like one of the holy angels. And I asked the angel who went with me and showed me all the hidden things, concerning that Son of Man, who He was, and whence He was, (and) why He went with the Head of Days? And he answered and said unto me: This is The Son Of Man who hath righteousness, With whom dwelleth righteousness, And who revealeth all the treasures of that which is hidden, Because the Lord of Spirits hath chosen him, And whose lot hath the pre-eminence before the Lord of Spirits in uprightness for ever. And this Son of Man whom thou hast seen Shall raise up the kings and the mighty from their seats, [And the strong from their thrones] And shall loosen the reins of the strong, And break the teeth of the sinners. [And he shall put down the kings from their thrones and kingdoms] Because they do not extol and praise Him, Nor humbly acknowledge whence the kingdom was bestowed upon them. And he shall put down the countenance of the strong, And shall fill them with shame. And darkness shall be their dwelling, And worms shall be their bed, And they shall have no hope of rising from their beds, Because they do not extol the name of the Lord of Spirits. And these are they who judge the stars of heaven, [And raise their hands against the Most High], And tread upon the earth and dwell upon it. And all their deeds manifest unrighteousness, And their power rests upon their riches, And their faith is in the gods which they have made with their hands, And they deny the name of the Lord of Spirits, And they persecute the houses of His congregations, And the faithful who hang upon the name of the Lord of Spirits. • 1 Enoch 46 For wisdom is poured out like water, And glory faileth not before him for evermore. For He is mighty in all the secrets of righteousness, And unrighteousness shall disappear as a shadow, And have no continuance; Because The Elect One standeth before the Lord of Spirits, And His Glory Is For Ever And Ever, And His Might Unto All Generations. And In Him dwells the spirit of wisdom, And the spirit which gives insight, And the spirit of understanding and of might, And the spirit of those who have fallen asleep in righteousness. And He shall judge the secret things, And none shall be able to utter a lying word before Him; For He Is The Elect One before the Lord of Spirits according to His good pleasure. • 1 Enoch 49 When the congregation of the righteous shall appear, And sinners shall be judged for their sins, And shall be driven from the face of the earth: And when the Righteous One shall appear before the eyes of the righteous, Whose elect works hang upon the Lord of Spirits, And light shall appear to the righteous and the elect who dwell on the earth, • 1 Enoch 38:1-2 And in those days shall the earth also give back that which has been entrusted to it, And Sheol also shall give back that which it has received, And hell shall give back that which it owes. For in those days The Elect One Shall Arise, And He shall choose the righteous and holy from among them: For the day has drawn nigh That They Should Be Saved. And The Elect One shall In Those Days Sit On My Throne, And His mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel: For the Lord of Spirits hath given (them) to Him and hath Glorified Him. • 1 Enoch 51:1-3 “Behold! I always defended also that we are not to take out or add as if we do the bible says it will be to our disadvantage to do so. Just keeping with the bible , there is evidence of the fallen angels and the watchers... This topic about the aliens I believe O.o is correct , that if the time comes when it will be quite in the open this alien phenomena, then will all should be prepared to know that these will be fallen angels and not aliens. Just checking what is out there, there are some very serious concerns of people claiming aliens abductions. I have listened to a few testimonies, and the reports started coming in around the year 1942 and up. Around that time a lot of evil people were also crawking up, out of the woodwork. People the likes of Mme Blavatsky, Aleistor Crowley and such who found some interest in eastern mysticism and embarked on such practices. Hitler and his circle of people around him also employed people and things concerning the occult. These times where times where also the first alien sightings began to appear. some say that the aliens-grays- (or fallen angels) gave the nazis a lot of knowledge in exchange for being able to experiment on people... I listened just reverently to a fellow ( who appears to balso be homosexual) by the name of Philip Kinsella testimony of being abducted. this man claims to also be a twin and a medium and of having been abducted by aliens who did experiments on him including placing instruments into his place where the sun don't shine. For sure this man has a demonic force following him. From what he says he must have been molested early on in life, and by his trauma has attracted evil around him and from this his curiosity into dark practices resulted. For sure there is a big interest in ET these days and almost like we are being prepared to receive something in the near future. Even this twisted fellow Mr, Philip Kinsella admitted in his testimony that these -alien grays are more likely to be fallen angels. You see, even the devil and from the people he is deceiving , can speak a certain amounts of truth. I was very surprised to hear this man Kinsella mention that he believes the grays are the fallen angels... then there is M Paul Hellyer a former a Canadian engineer, politician, writer, and commentator who has had a long and varied career. He is the longest serving current member of the Privy Council of Canada, just ahead of Prince Philip. Even this man is talking about ALIENS. then there is M. Robert Dean, retired NATO intelligence who also speaks about aliens... so whoever says they don't understand this -ALIEN_ topic. well please research it. Its in the news. we most definitely are being prepared for something ...1 point

This is how I see the seals lining up with the timeline, along with a brief explanation of why and what takes place during each seal. The first seal was opened after the gospel was preached to all the nations completing the times of the nations, or gentiles. When it was opened, the evil angel beast was released from the abyss and began implementing the plan that would lead to the man of sin’s rise to become world dictator. The conditions we see around us in the world today haven’t come about by happenstance. They have come about over the past several decades through the influence of spiritual wickedness in high places. The reason I place it circa 1900 is that about that time, we saw the emergence of things that today have matured into things of prophetic significance. These things include the apparition of Fatima (UFO sightings), the roots of globalism (League of Nations), and the increase of knowledge in many areas. Most importantly I think is the assault on truth that has taken place through the emphasis of evolution, humanism, etc. that has led to the godless world view that’s prominent today. When these things have sufficiently matured, the man of sin will be revealed, something that begins in earnest with the second seal. The second seal begins a time of war. This is what Jesus refers to as the time of wars and rumors of war. Included in these wars is the destruction of the world’s capital by the ten leaders, and the subsequent destruction of three of those leaders by the man of sin. People will think that it’s the end of the world, but Jesus says that the end is not at this time. The third seal describes a time of severe food shortage. This is typical during war time but is exacerbated by the heavy concentration of population in the cities. Perhaps God made a special mention of this condition so that we might be prepared ahead of time and use this inevitability as an opportunity for ministry. The fourth seal describes the end of the wars, and their consequences. One-quarter of the world’s population, or roughly 2 billion people at this point, will have died because of the wars and their resulting effects. The wars are brought to an end by the man of sin through his displays of supernatural power. No one can wage war against him. After deceiving the world by the signs and wonders he performs, he declares himself to be God. That event is the abomination that leads to desolation and begins the 1335 day time segment. The fifth seal describes a time of martyrdom, a time when many believers refuse to worship the man of sin and are killed. After the abomination of declaring himself to be deity, he calls on the deceived people of the world to affirm his declaration. Having been to the edge of global destruction, they are only too willing to do so. They perceive him as a savior and collaborate on a code of conduct that affirms his deity and requires compliance with its terms. This is known as the image of the beast. The behind-the-scenes activities of the evil angel beast led to the man of sin’s dominion which is likewise revealed and affirmed in this code of conduct. The man of sin gives life to this image by making it law and those who don’t comply with its terms are to be killed. This begins the time of great tribulation. The great tribulation starts at the beginning of the man of sin’s 1260 days, when he declares the image to be law. He expedites compliance with the image through the commerce system that he hijacked from the ten leaders by requiring that everyone receive his mark in order to buy or sell anything. The thirty days from the time of his abomination until the beginning of the great tribulation is when people are receiving his mark and collaborating on the image. It’s a grace period of sorts until compliance becomes mandatory under the penalty of death. The time of great tribulation continues until the sixth seal is opened. No time duration is given for it but if it were allowed to continue for the full 1260 days, no flesh would be saved. The opening of the sixth seal, when the sign of the Son of Man appears in the sky, does something to inhibit the man of sin’s ability to enforce the “worship or die” ultimatum. The 1260 days are not shortened. It’s the intensity of his persecution that is cut short, effectively ending the time of great tribulation, and changing it to tribulation for the remainder of the 1260 days. Estimates of the duration of the great tribulation range from 40 days to six months, sufficient time for everyone to have decided whether they will accept the mark of the beast and worship his image or not. We simply don’t know how many days it will last. When the seventh seal is opened, the time of the seven plagues begins and fills out the remainder of the 1335 days.1 point

Thank you so much for posting some scripture, now, read carefully with understanding. We will see there were two laws given to Moses, they were the Ten commandments and the sacrificial law. Watch how they worked together. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: (Leviticus 4:1-2) The law in the scriptures above is the commandments. Notice something else very important in these two scriptures. It states, "if a soul shall sin through ignorance." Notice that the scripture did not says on purpose. Why? There is no sacrifice for a sin that is committed willfully. Let's find out what was to be done if a person committed a sin against the Lord unintentionally. Let's skip down to the 27th verse and take a look at the second law (which is the sacrificial law). And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty; Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned. And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. (Leviticus 4:27-30) When the common people sinned through ignorance and it came to their knowledge, what did they have to do? They brought an offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for their sin which they had committed, then the priest would offer the animal to the Lord. Think about this for a moment. If an animal was killed for a person that committed sin, what will happen to us today if we a trespass against the Lord? We will find that out later. Now we see how the sacrificial law was used when a person broke a commandment unintentionally. Let's go into Paul's writings and take another look at both of these laws. We will go into the Book of Galatians chapter 3. This is one of the chapters that the majority of Christian preachers use to do away with the Lord's commandments. Now, let's read carefully! Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. (Galatians 3:19) Take heed to what Paul's says above, "Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions." What is transgression? Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (I John 3:4) Transgression is braking of the commandments. What law was added because of the braking of the law? The sacrificial law! Paul is simply asking these Gentiles, "why perform the sacrificial law? It was added because of sin until the seed should come. Who is the seed? Let's back up in this chapter and find out. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ. (Galatians 3:16) Who is the SEED? CHRIST! So, this law was added (which is the sacrificial law) until Christ came. What was the sacrificial law used for until Christ came? Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24) The sacrificial law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. Before we continue, we must clear one thing up. Are we justified by faith alone? Let's see. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. (Romans 3:31) What law is established? Certainly not the sacrificial law, we have seen above that it was added because of transgression until the Seed came (which was Christ). The Royal law is to be established forever which are the Lord's Ten commandments! Now, let's back up in this chapter to the third verses and point out the two sets of laws. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? (Galatians 3:3) The spirit in this case is the word of God, but pay close attention to what Paul says at the end of the verse. "Are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Can we be made perfect by the flesh? What flesh is Paul talking about? Let's go to the book of Hebrews and find out. For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (Hebrews 10:1) The flesh Paul spoke of was the animal sacrifices. Notice what the verse says, "never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect." That's pretty clear don't you think? Let's go back to Galatians chapter 3 and take note how Paul uses the word "law" but does not say this is the sacrificial law or the Commandments. But as we read further in the chapter we will see the difference between the two. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (Galatians 3:10) We have both Laws with in this verse. In the first part of the verse where it states, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse:" This law is the sacrificial law, let's skip to the 13th verse and we will see this clearly. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13) Notice what's being said, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us." How was he made a curse for us? He took on our sins and redeemed us from the curse of the sacrificial law which could never take away sin. Now take a look at the next set of verses and we will see indeed that only the sacrificial law was nailed to the cross. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:13-14) Notice this, "He quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. Why was this law (which is the sacrificial law) contrary to us? Notice this in Hebrews the 10th chapter; For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (Hebrews 10:4) For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. That is why it was contrary to us. The sacrificial law simply could not make us perfect. Now let's look at the second half of the 13th verse in the book of Galatians chapter 3. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13) Paul is simply quoting Moses, take a look. His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. (Deuteronomy 21:23) Go into the Book of John chapter 19 verse 31 and you will see that Jesus was removed from the cross before sun down. Let's back up in Galatians chapter 3 to verses 10 and watch how we have a different law in the second half of the verse. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. (Galatians 3:10) This law is part of the commandments. Once again Paul, is quoting Moses, let's take a look. Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. (Deuteronomy 27:26) Let's take a look at some of these laws in Deuteronomy 27th chapter. Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen. Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. (Deuteronomy 27:19-26) After reading through some of these commandments ask yourself, what's wrong with these laws? If we say we are followers of the Lord shouldn't we keep ourselves from doing these things? Yes! If the sacrificial law was the only law taken away when Jesus was nailed to the cross, which would mean all the other laws are still intact. Commandments, High and Holy Sabbaths, weekly Sabbaths and the Dietary law .1 point

Amen! Soldiers of Christ, go out and spread the good news of the Kingdom! That the way of the King is prepared in his Glorious return! Wash your garments, polish your sword, and put on the Armor of God. "Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."1 point

It sounds as if your actions revealed how HUMAN you really are, not how evil, Becky. If you have asked for this person's forgiveness now it's time to ask the Lord for the same. Lay the problem at the foot of the Cross and ask Him to take the burden from you. I have had to do that very thing and the Lord relieved me of the guilt and turmoil I had created for myself.1 point

The Scriptural proof for the coming pre-trib rapture of the Church has been provided for you, as taught by Jesus, Matthew, Luke, John and Paul, you deny and as such, calling them all liars. The four post link in the following Thoroughly refutes your dogmatic opinion without a shred pf Scriptural support that has anything at all to do with it. The symbolic calling up of John, according to Jesus, into heaven, by the voice that sounds like a trumpet, represents the Church, CONFIRMING 2 Thess.2:3 and 7-8. As I told you before, you have no argument trying to refute Scripture. Provide a Scripture based argument for your views to refute any part of the four posts in the following, or your opinions have been soundly refuted. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/deeperwalk/the-biblical-teaching-of-the-pre-trib-rapture-of-t-t19401898.html FYI, After John/Church in Rev.4:1-2 is called up into heaven, John/Bride/Church marriage takes place, in heaven, according to Rev.19:7-8, As you were shown previously. Jesus returns, in His second coming to the earth, in Rev.19:14, with Johb/Church following Him, riding white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven. Case closed! I honestly wished this was the truth simple Jeff; As it is also written in holy scripture: 1 Timothy 3:1-13 1 Timothy 3:1-13New King James Version (NKJV) Qualifications of Overseers 3 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop,[a] he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money,[b] but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Qualifications of Deacons 8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I very much would like to believe Christ Jesus did not drink fermented drink or a least did not get drunk. As little as one sip in your mouth of alcoholic beverage can change a person. ask any recovering alcoholic. Also you don't need to have become an alcoholic to see changes in a persons behavior after just one sip, let alone on drink of alcohol. how i see it? with the eyes I already had as a child seeing my parents consume even just a little alcohol? and even gave my brother and me a sip to taste? sometimes even a little glass? I saw change in my parents and it was for a child = "scary to see." Also when i was given my first sip of alcohol., I immediately I instantly felt different and yes it was kind of pleasant, but it instantly also made me sneeze. I remember sometimes when my mother prepared super she had a glass of wine and always added a teaspoon of sugar to her wine. She sometimes gave me a sip to taste of it. Also I never liked to see my mothers mood change, from not having a drink to having a drink. She was like two different people. I remember that I always sneezed after taking a sip from my mothers wine or ay other alcoholic beverage. Maybe because of culture, it was not looked as a bad thing to have wine , champagne, bear and some nice liqueurs on special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, birthdays, special diners. However I would have much preferred had my family been a christian family that did not partake in alcohol at all. I have seen to much of the damage that alcohol does to ever endorse it as being ok , especially for a true seeker of the Lord to think that taking it occasionally is OK. Toward the end of my mothers life she drew closer and closer to christian life, yet my brother was a total atheist and that placed a big dent in much of our family life. But my mother even though she was like I said closer to living a christian life than ever before, was an elder in her church, she still took the occasional glass of wine. She was never an alcoholic, just like the occasional glass of wine. What confused me with that was , she was going to a Pentecostal church, where i knew alcohol was not permitted, and also she was a deacon, but yet she still took a glass or two of wine on the occasion. To me, just my thoughts, I feel that God allowed my mothers life to be shortened, because the day before she hemorrhaged- brain stroke- she took a glass of wine, Also she was taking medication of the like of: Celebrex/anti inflammatory, blood thinning -warfarin/ coumadin and even was taking some natural stiff. Little was she aware that these were a deadly combination=execively thining her blood, and at the time doctors did not know enough about certain medication and interactions with alcohol to give my mother any warnings. If you have a cold=this can thin the blood. If you take certain medications even like aspirin= this can thin the blood If you take certain herbal nutrients=they can thin the blood If you take certain pharmaceutical medications +they can thin the blood If you take alcohol-it thins the blood. also verathaning wood floors=is also a blood thiner (A combination of all these can be deadly) When having or taking any of these and even worse combining any of these, it can thin the blood so much that a person can have a hemorrhage aorta stroke . this type stroke, can Burst in the abdomen like it can burst in the brain. I write this hoping that people consider these factors seriously. At the time of my mothers death, she had a cold- my brother began verathaning the upstairs floors, this thins the blood, she was taking anti-inflammatories and blood thinner and natural products and had a glass of wine , the evening before her fatal morning stroke the next day. Had my mother been truly committed to living completely for the Lord and NOT taking ANY alcohol even a social drink, I believe my mother would have been still alive today. Being overweight, drinking, smoking, these all need to be brought into temperance, as we grow closer and closer to the Lord. It also will allow us to be healthier and more able to do Gods work here on earth. I left a church after I saw at a pastors home boxes of beer lines up against a wall in his home. That pastor was also a gossip. For those reasons i could not respect this pastor and left that church. this pastor had four children, the eldest announced to the family that he was gay a few years ago. I believe that lifestyle choices do make an impact on our lives and those surrounding our lives. I also have my own lifestyle choices (concerning, exercise and nutrition) also to improve in order to get closer and closer to Gods will for my life. If Christ Jesus was a man who drank and got drunk, I really would have not much respect for Him and would have to re-question a lot concerning the bible and my christian faith that is very much based on Gods Word found in the bible. But i must use Logic concerning whether Christ Jesus was an occasional alcoholic beverage drinker or not. It is written that Christ Jesus was innocent of sin. If not, His sinless blood would not have any impact on being able -like the bible states- salvage us, restore us and heal us and reunite us to God through Christs BLOOD covering over us and our sins. when alcohol is imbibed it changes us, as the alcohol works directly into the BLOOD SYSTEM. it thins the blood and goes directly into our nervous system. If I am to respect any person especially in the position of pastor or elder of a church they need to be SOBER, living an alcohol free lifestyle. And I would say, that for true followers of Christ Jesus, an alcohol free living is I would thing the aim we should desire to aspire to . there is so much hype on alcohol and why we need to drink it. Do we really need to drink it? No we don't. and it does not make life worse, it makes life better . more wholesome. I have not had alcohol in years and really don't miss it, I actually feel much better without it, and don't have any in my home to offer to others. I also do not allow smoking in my home or my outdoor surroundings if i can help it. Because I want my home to be a completely "wholesome" christian environment. Something, i had wished my childhood family home would have been but was not.1 point

The scholars at Qumran were extra conservative. They thought the pharisees had lost the plot. But even they quoted from Enoch 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YmGU9OG-h0 Dr. Heiser makes the point that the modern church hinders folk from reading these and other books like it and does them a considerable disservice by doing so. If you do get a chance, just listen to the above video of Heiser. It will NOT rob you of salvation and may open your eyes. It will give you a perspective of the theme that NT and OT writers all knew about and studied. It will bring alive so many references in the scriptures that you might not have otherwise thought about. Yeshua came to redeem the world from the occurrences of Gen. 6 and the subsequent turmoil that the world has been suffering from ever since and likewise the fall of man. If you cannot see these connections then you will not completely understand a great deal of what Yahweh is doing, both in the physical and the spiritual realms.1 point

The Church has departed before the seven year tribulation and the book of Revelation. I think those who go in the rapture of the Church will be blessed.1 point

Hello missmuffit, Thanks for your input. You are quite right. it is relevant to keep in mind, the Church will DEPART in 2 Thess.2:3 [According to the original historic translation] and TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY, in verse 7, BEFORE the man of lawlessness is revealed, in 2 Thess.2:3, 4 and 8, who triggers the seven year tribulation, recorded in Dan.9:27 and Rev.6:2. The Church is in heaven for the marriage: the Bride/Church to the Lamb/Jesus, while the tribulation takes place on earth, in Rev.19:7-8. Followed immediately after with the second coming of Jesus, with His Church: Riding on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, in His armies from heaven, in verse 14. Solid Scriptural proof of the coming pre-trib rapture of the Church. God Bless. Quasar931 point

I am a pretribulation believe because that is what the Bible tells me. But be prepared there are many on Worthy who are not and will debate it to the end The important differences between the rapture and second coming are as follows: 1) At the rapture, believers meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, believers return with the Lord to the earth (Revelation 19:14). 2) The second coming occurs after the great and terrible tribulation (Revelation chapters 6–19). The rapture occurs before the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 3) The rapture is the removal of believers from the earth as an act of deliverance (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, 5:9). The second coming includes the removal of unbelievers as an act of judgment (Matthew 24:40-41). 4) The rapture will be secret and instant (1 Corinthians 15:50-54). The second coming will be visible to all (Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:29-30). 5) The second coming of Christ will not occur until after certain other end-times events take place (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Matthew 24:15-30; Revelation chapters 6–18). The rapture is imminent; it could take place at any moment (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54). Why is it important to keep the rapture and the second coming distinct? 1) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, believers will have to go through the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). 2) If the rapture and the second coming are the same event, the return of Christ is not imminent—there are many things which must occur before He can return (Matthew 24:4-30). 3) In describing the tribulation period, Revelation chapters 6–19 nowhere mentions the church. During the tribulation—also called “the time of trouble for Jacob” (Jeremiah 30:7)—God will again turn His primary attention to Israel (Romans 11:17-31). The rapture and second coming are similar but separate events. Both involve Jesus returning. Both are end-times events. However, it is crucially important to recognize the differences. In summary, the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath. The second coming is the return of Christ to the earth to bring the tribulation to an end and to defeat the Antichrist and his evil world empire. https://www.gotquestions.org/difference-Rapture-Second-Coming.html1 point

Repentance is acknowledging one's own truth about what they have been in denial about. Repentance is facing judgment of God. It is the willingness, at all costs, to step in the Light to be exposed and vulnerable to judgment. Not only that, but prepared to take responsibility for it; even if it means rejection, segregation, abandonment, and annihilation. Repentance is an act of faith. It is worthy of God's forgiveness and love, though most don't understand this because they have not yet experienced unconditional love. Repentance is the gate which opens the door to the kingdom of God. Repentance is being True. Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life. Repentance on a daily basis is a way to live truthfully.1 point

Matthew 3:8-10 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 3:8-10 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 8 Change your hearts! And show by the way you live that you have changed. 9 I know what you are thinking. You want to say, ‘but Abraham is our father!’ That means nothing. I tell you, God could make children for Abraham from these rocks. 10 The ax is now ready to cut down the trees.Every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Luke 3:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV) 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 9 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Luke 3:8-9 Good News Translation (GNT) 8 Do those things that will show that you have turned from your sins. And don't start saying among yourselves that Abraham is your ancestor. I tell you that God can take these rocks and make descendants for Abraham! 9 The ax is ready to cut down the trees at the roots; every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire.”1 point

I just finished, almost, reading Jeremiah too, and I was thinking like your closestfriendnt recently said, and then noticed it sounded also like in Revelation as you posted above but didn't think much more of because I didn't think anything would really click. The more you read the more things seem to come together. It's a big book.1 point
