  1. If American Muslims were to read forums like this, I can understand why they do not feel safe. Anyone that is told they are not wanted and should not be here would feel unsafe.

  2. It seems it never ends. These are some good tips on avoiding this scam. Best ide: if you don't recognize the number don't answer, let it go to voice mail. They won't leave a message most likely and you should then block the number. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/fcc-warns-consumers-yes-phone-scam-233916329--abc-news-topstories.html

  3. Once again, it's all about the muslims and against Christians. This professor teaches at a private college so maybe she can get away with teaching religious doctrine but, obviously, she is a liar and antiChristian. I hope the student is successful in his lawsuit. This is persecution, no doubt. https://www.thecollegefix.com/post/31853/

  4. Reminds me of the broadcasts by Joel Osteen, his wife, and that of TD Jakes. God gives his faithful the spirit of discernment and while we must have money in order to survive with a home, food, transportation of some sort , health, and on and on, God is not a wizard that repays allegiance with boons. I think if a pastor lives in a multi-million dollar compound and drives a high end luxury car, while the congregation struggles to survive , the congregation should pause and ask themselves, what are we paying for ?

  5. "You are misunderstanding this completely." That's a leap of faith:) I understand it fully. Sometimes clear action can't be taken, yet some can in the situations you described, and action should be taken. My original post was that I struggled with the imprecatory psalms vs Christ's call to forgive, because they are polarities, and I wondered if anyone else struggled with this. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who struggles with this. For instance, I could "pray for enemies" by wishing them blessings, or I could "pray for enemies that God takes them out of circulation so they can't hurt anyone else." I'm unsure which way God intends for us to pray - but I imagine that's something He'll reveal to me as He determines since it's something I've struggled with. There have been many times when I've lamented like Habakuk, seeing the wicked prosper, and times I've prayed Psalm 73. There were times I prayed the 35th Psalm.

  7. I use the recording that came with my IPhone and always have. It is a sad world indeed when you have to stay one step ahead of scammers. I would also suggest that, when you get a new debit card, you go to the bank and pick it up. My new one disappeared after it was mailed to me and I had to go in and cancel everything because the new card had been activated. They didn't get anything though.

  12. We are not even safe anymore just picking up the phone when it rings , Just this morning i got a call and was near to the phone so by reflex, I picked up the receiver with a pleasant hello. then there was a delay and then the young voice on the other line asked if I was so and so and then I asked them to whom am I speaking with, then they started speaking some kind of sales pitch... i just put down the receiver and said to myself, I will never again just pick up the phone receiver when it rings and just let my answering service pick up my calls from now on. Now we are not even free to say -yes- when we pick up the phone. We have to be careful of so much swindling possibilities, coming out from everywhere... There is now way to much fraud going on everywhere.

  18. To love someone who you feel has wronged you, you must first get over yourself, which we do be both forgiving them for what they did and forgiving us, for being taken advantage of. People talk all day long about forgiving the other persn and then continue to carry around the anger within ourselves for being, quote/unquote stupid. If you don't forgive yourself you will be constantly on guard and carry this baggage with you through life and treat others as a potential manipulator instead of a potential friend. That doesn't work out, since people will sense your reluctance and wonder why. It is beneficial to be cautious, but also to be measured in ones interactions with others. Loving them does not mean being a pawn or a mark. It is to show them kindness and consideration for who they are and their situation, in order for them to realize they are being acknowledged positively by you.

  22. I just now erased my very own voice mail message and now just have a pre recorded message from the answering service. I always was against pre-recorded messages, thinking they were way to cold and impersonal, but now with all the scams going on, it just doesn't seem safe anymore to have even your own voice recorded greeting on your own phone anymore. Sad indeed.

  26. When I was an atheist I was blind. I shudder and cringe to think of how blind I was. I'm still blind in some areas but so grateful God rescued me from the blindness I once had. It was terrible! Frightening! Jails, institutions, drugs, demonic activity, hatred, chronic fear, bitterness, an attempt to take another life (for which I'm still on probation), suicide attempt with a train... Lord have mercy, was I ever blind!! At least now I have the grace to pray all the time for enlightenment and guidance and know there's a God who loves and cares. That is a huge step in the right direction. No, I did not know that before. I was blind and deaf!

  27. We don't know the age gap between Shelah and Tamar. Was it 5 years? 15 years? Besides, Judah never intended to give Shelah to her. The only reason she dressed as a Temple prostitute to bear children for that family is that she saw that "he was grown and not given to her." Would a marriage work with an older woman and a younger man? I have no idea.

  28. I have seen successful marriages where the girl is slightly older than boy. Me and my wife are almost same age. She is just few weeks younger than me. It has been working out pretty good for us. I think it does not matter who is older. I think 5 to 10 years is the max. Otherwise, the difference is more than a decade and we know how things get so different in few years. It would feel like people from 2 generations are living together

  29. Your idea that "Many Atheist are not guilty of sin" is very wrong. I am afraid you are not understanding this scripture and applying what you think incorrectly. First, Jesus was addressing the Pharisees, a group of religious people who rejected Christ Jesus. Because they thought they were right and true and Jesus was wrong and false, they were said to be blind, and because they claimed to have the truth, they were guilty of their sin. Atheist are a group of people who also refuse to accept there is a God. In order to be an atheist, one had to of been told about God, so their rejection of God is also held against them, and they do willfully sin. Like the Pharisees, their sin will be held against them.

  33. just because the government says its ok, doesnt make it ok. And going after a private company for enforcing the right of babies to be born and not murdered, well, thats quite frankly, not "free choice" thats giving in to the whims of the world. The blaze did the right thing, regardless of what the government-or the world, has to say about it.

  34. Big Brother already legislates our choices in life, including but not limited to murder. How can murder be allowed just because the kid isn't born yet? It doesn't make it any less than murder just because someone says you can't legislate my morals, and some court agreed with them.

  35. She is not pro-abortion. She is anti-government interference. I don't believe conservatives should burn their own at the stake, if they dare to differ in any way, like the leftists do. GWB's wife and daughters came out for pro-choice too and I never heard ONE snippet of criticism from conservatives.

  36. The point I a pro-life person made was, suspending this woman for her pro-choice personal opinion when she hits all the markers otherwise for appeasing the conservative demographic is inconsistent.

  37. Suspended for a week. With pay no doubt and for saying on The View that she's pro-choice. But meanwhile, she's known for being Beck's cup of tea. She regularly bashes the feminist movement, Trump's critics, and the Liberals. Too bad Blaze just proved they're all for bashing free speech and free opinion.

  38. She says that she doesn't support anyone making choices for other people when it comes to personal issues. I wouldn't take her position because I believe abortion is legalized murder. But I understand what she's saying. Tomi is one of the most conservative voices out there and, hopefully, she will find her way. She's only 24 and her views will probably change just as all of ours did. I will not stop watching her and listening to her because she doesn't agree with me on ONE issue. Condemning her for differing on one issue would make ME no better than the dark left that allows no dissent from their radical agenda.

  43. Hi Pamelasv, Here`s an interesting scripture concerning king David & his son to Bathsheba. `Then on the seventh day it came to pass that the child died.......So David arose from the ground, washed & anointed himself, & changed his clothes; & he went into the house of the Lord & worshipped....Then his servants said to him, What is this you have done?....So he said "While the child was still alive, I fasted & wept....but now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.` (2Sam. 12: 19 - 23) As far as the Body of Christ `escaping,` rather it shall be the judgment court that will rule & reign with Christ bringing judgment upon the ungodly & their demonic global government. It is will herald the start of the restoring of order under the rulership of the Lord Jesus Christ. Marilyn.

  44. John 10: 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John 10:27 “My sheep hear [listen to (NLT), recognize (TLB)] My voice” We are presented with 3 conditions for eternal life! HEARING -- hearing Jesus’ voice begins by God’s grace, but must be continued. KNOWING -- depends on Jesus and us wanting to “know” each other (PLUS see below). FOLLOWING -- depends on us (we have the free will to follow Him, or not follow Him). Who is hearing Jesus’ voice? Initially, this is hearing the prompting of the Holy Spirit that the Gospel message is true! (Many say it is possible for a recipient of this prompting to refuse to believe.) Then, those who accept God’s call must continue to hear and respond to God’s voice. “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23) They will come in the form of the Holy Spirit, who is another (Greek “allos’) of the same kind. “But if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.” (Romans 8:13, NLT) “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” (Rom 8:14, NASB) Yes, this is all about continuing to hear the Holy Spirit (and being obedient to His guidance)! Who does Jesus “know”? “The relationship between the sheep and their shepherd is intimate, like the relationship between God and Christ. Jesus knows and loves His sheep. … If we continue to knowingly commit some sin, we are not in Christ. We do not know Him, and He does not know us … Only those who obey Christ and are pure in heart will see Him and know Him (Matthew 5:8, 1 John 2:3-4).” (The Applied New Testament Commentary – Thomas Hale, 1996, ChariotVictor Publishing; Dr. Hale is a Spirit-filled believer who served as a medical missionary with Interserve in Nepal.) “… and I know (approve of) them” (John 10:27) Re: to know, “ginosko”, Strong’s #1097 >> “here the ‘knowing’ suggests approval and bears the meaning ‘to be approved’ in 2 Tim 2:19; cf. John 10:14, John 10:27” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words – W. E. Vine, 1984, Thomas Nelson, Inc.) Who is following Jesus? • Mark 8:34-36 (Matt 10:38-39, Matt 16:24-26), Luke 9:23-25 … “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul (is himself destroyed or lost, Luke 9:25)? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” You don’t carry your cross by having belief-faith through His grace, and then trusting Him to do the rest! You carry your cross by denying yourself (your fleshly desires, etc.) and following Jesus. You follow Jesus by believing in Him and His words, and obeying Him and His commands. The ones who follow Jesus are the obedient ones! • John 8:31 (TLB) “You are truly My disciples if you live as I tell you to …” • Matthew 19:17 “But if you want to enter into life, obey the commandments.” • John 8:51 “Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone obeys My word he shall never see death.” • Hebrews 5:9 “He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” • 1 John 2:17 “… but he who obeys the will of God abides forever.” • 1 Corinthians 7:19 “… obeying the commandments of God is what matters.” • James 1:22 “But be obeyers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” • 1 John 2:3-4 “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we obey His commandments. • He who says, “I know Him,” and does not obey His commandments, is a liar …” • Romans 6:16 “… you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether (slaves) of sin leading to death, OR (slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness” Disobedience proves Unbelief! • Hebrews 3:18-19 “And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”

  45. That's Isaiah 7:15,16. Since babies and young children cannot understand that they are sinners by birth and must repent, God has made full provision for their salvation in Christ. We should always remember that God was in Christ RECONCILING THE WORLD unto Himself, and that the Lamb of God took away the sin of the world. Those who are capable of repenting are commanded to repent (Acts 17:30). Those who are incapable of repenting are accepted through Christ, who said "suffer [allow] LITTLE CHILDREN, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven". As to speculation regarding children being conceived and born during the Great Tribulation, we really have no Scripture to confirm or deny this, so silence is the only option.

  46. There is some prophecy concerning Jesus somewhere 'before the child knows enough to choose between right and wrong...' I dont know where that is, but one cannot be guilty of anything if they do not know the difference. Of course babies go to heaven.

  47. I am sorry but I am confused.Babies will not go to heaven?Where do they go? Heaven if they would have accepted Christ as Savior had they grown up. Hell if they wouldn't. Same as any other unbeliever. It's really simple once you remember God has an omniscient mind. I disagree John. This sounds like a Calvinist approach. All babies go to heaven.I can not imagine anything else with Jesus's grace and mercy and His love for children. The age of accountability is when a child is old enough to know who Jesus Christ is and proclaim Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. They will then go to heaven.I am not certain about those older than that and the exact age of accountability.
