  1. James 1:14 (NKJV) But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When a believer is tempted it is generally tempted with the desire towards the sin it has given way to before….. These are the strongest of temptations because the sinful flesh has chosen to lay hold of these for one reason or another in the past…. These are the sins that still dwell in one that one has to reckon themselves dead to, for these desires are real and very much still alive in one…. This is where the reckoning oneself dead to these desires comes in, for the believer has died and not the sinful desires that are still alive in one; for the believer has died when Christ died… It is believing and maintaining this faith that is the fight of faith, for as long and as painful as this fight is, if one maintains one’s faith in their death in Christ, victory is assured, and that believing one will reap the fruit of that victory which fruit is being set free from that particular desire towards that sin… For Jesus did die and took the believing one with Him to death thereby freeing that one that that one might be joined to another… It is faith that grabs onto this freedom, and the strength and the depths of one’s desire to be freed from their sin will be the measure of the freedom one experiences….. For all things have become new, blessed is the one that would have it so…. Be blessed in the freedom that being joined with Christ in His death brings to life in one….. A fellow reckoner, Not me

  2. We know that the Lord doesn't always heal or relieve us. It's true that I have been the recipient of the Lord's power on more than one occasion, but it's important to emphasize that this was according to His purpose and will. More than one individual was affected by His work, so what He did is properly understood as the Lord choosing to display His power in me. I never asked Him to do such things. I petitioned the Lord to remove the depression I have lived with for most of my life, but that is not according to His will. What did He say? It would change who I am and who He intends for me to be on this earth, so it remains. His grace and provision are sufficient for me. His grace: the depression comes and it's my place to fixate my heart and mind upon Him; His provision: I can overcome all things in Christ. Be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! As He has overcome, so do we. Overcoming is the problem all of us face, yes? In the Son of God, that problem flees. How do I overcome depression in Christ? First, I endure. I keep pressing on regardless of how depression affects me. Secondly, I do not capitulate nor seek to isolate myself; the work which the Lord gives me is a wonderful blessing in this regard. I'm given no choice but to interact with others and while I focus upon meeting their needs, I'm not held captive by the darkness of despair.

  3. Realistically though, problems are not solved on their own. It takes effort from both our human abilities and our spiritual journey . Does not matter if we focus on just the spiritual part of our life, the cows still have to be milked, the roof still has to be replaced and sometime, if not often ,the help of community relief those burdens. The spiritual supplication that is sent up, works in ways as each experience and accepts their answer. The main difference is that, the physical part of our life we can see before us and the spiritual is as to the testimony of the receiver. So, with his testimony, he shares of the wonder of the living God. Paul was called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of Christ. If a believer feels that conviction, then he has to emulate Paul's life, which is a task that you have to be prepared for. In our spiritual journey as a "born again" believer, we now have that built in conviction to share the gospel. Your question though, if one is not careful, can lead to neglect in family and other areas, so I think a balance has to be struck.

  4. It's true that sick were healed, etc. by the apostles. However, we know healing is not the final answer to the problems of life - Jesus is. I think what the author (quoted in the OP) is conveying is that Paul/apostles main purpose was always bringing people to Christ and showing them that the ongoing experience of Christ in their lives was what was needed . . . the "what" was actually a "Who." The miracles and other manifestations were a means to that end, that is, showing that Christ Himself is always the answer.

  5. Right! But if we focus on problems, we get maybe some solved problems . . . along with anxiety, and in the end little eternal profit. But a focus on knowing Christ and experiencing Him in the midst of our problems ("take problem to Jesus") results in eternal profit!

  6. I will venture there is an overlap. To continually experience Christ is to continually solve problems. I look for that in all things material and spiritual. For me it is a given that the apostles and saints are used of God to that end.

  7. Read this today and I'm considering it's validity. Is it true that Paul, and others, were really focused on other's knowing and experiencing Christ in their daily lives, instead of trying to solve their problems? And the author equates the knowing of Christ as "thinking the one thing" as mentioned in Philippians 2:2. So should we be all caught-up in trying to solve ours and other people's problems, or should our main focus be to facilitate "take problem to Jesus"? Solving Problems or Experiencing Christ? "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21 To understand the spiritual nature of the New Testament, we need to ask a question: Did Paul solve problems or did he lead people into experiencing Christ? Where in the New Testament letters did Paul solve problems? What problem did he solve as an end in itself? What issue did Paul get involved in to solve? Have you ever considered this question? We all should go back to reread the New Testament and ask, What problems did Peter, John, Paul, and the other apostles solve? Did they solve people's problems or lead people to experience Christ? Of course, we know there were many problems among the Corinthians, but when we investigate how Paul solved the problems, we discover that he did one thing--he led them to experience Christ. In our natural life we are prone to solve problems. We are looking for answers. We are seeking solutions. We want things to be cleared up and go away. We want to "right" what is "wrong." We are hoping for our environments to change for the better. We live in our imagined expectations. We want situations to be such that our soul would be at ease and find relief. Our souls are enmeshed in solving problems in many things in our daily life. In our natural life we are in the realm of solving problems. But with the supply of the Spirit in our spirit, we are in the realm of thinking the one thing--to experience Christ. Paul's burden with the Philippians was not merely to solve their problem of disharmony, but to lead them to be supplied to think the one thing, Christ. To think the one thing is our greatest need. The way we can tell we are a supplied person is that we relate to matters and environments not by merely solving problems, but by experiencing a deeper, richer Christ. From The Supplied Life by B. Freeman

  9. I am glad to see you acknowledge that events following Revelation chapter 4:1 are future events, and therefore the birth of the man child in Revelation 12 is not about Jesus' birth. I have said the same in many other posts here over the years, which many people on this forum seem to ignore, and continue to assert being Jesus.

  11. In the vein of "science is about how and religion is about why", and understanding from where we get our book of Genesis, I'm pretty unprejudiced about how old the earth is, how Adam and Eve actually came about, the creation of the "heavens and earth", and tend to trust actual scientific discovery. After all, we're looking at pretty old translations from very old translations of mostly, if not literally, dead language. I personally interpret the phrase "the earth" as "the surface of the earth". Or even "the age of man". And I find it interesting that scientific discovery has convinced most of us that we are on a sphere orbiting the sun, which is travelling at a high rate of speed through a galaxy of quite a few other disparate "suns", yet many of us try to literally interpret the translated words of these ancient texts and therefore refuse to accept equally compelling evidence that the earth is a heck of a lot older than 6,000 years. But I'm not saying it is or isn't 6,000 years old. I'm saying the bible leaves room for both opinions and neither prevents me from living under the Grace of God and the salvation and atonement brought through Jesus death and resurrection. One might as well get wrapped around the axle about this age old question: Which is better - Ford or Chevy. So, the bottom line, at least for me, is that I am fascinated by science and it's fun to discover how creation works. But WHY we are here is the higher pursuit. And in that one word is the entire message of Christ and the history of mankind as presented in the library of books and letters spanning many centuries, languages and many diverse authors that we call "the Bible". It's a great teaching tool. But regarding the secondary* issues, it leaves room for all sorts of interpretation, even among experts in the ancient and not-so-ancient languages from which it comes. So by all means, study it, but as one scholar told me, the more a person knows and understands about the bible's message on secondary subjects, the less confident they are in their opinion on such subjects. It could be racked up as a Dunning Kruger thing. *secondary issues, from here: Primary and Secondary Issues The primary purpose of scripture is to make clear the way of salvation, therefore I believe primary beliefs are those vital to the doctrine of salvation – they are gospel issues. Gospel issues include: credal beliefs (covering the nature of God, the person and work of Christ etc.); the normative divine inspiration of Scripture without which we would not know of salvation; the explicit moral law taught in Scripture (Jesus upheld the ten commandments and their implications. The Pauline epistles and others specify sins which will, if persisted in, prevent a person entering the kingdom). I would also include clear issues of justice. I define a secondary issue as one on which numerous Christians, with an equally high view of Scripture, interpret the Bible differently, giving full weight to the traditional interpretation and using sound hermeneutical (interpretative) principles. I believe it is sinful to divide the church, or divide from the church, over secondary issues. We need to be objective about secondary issues. Any of us can subjectively elevate our favourite secondary issue into a primary issue or a shibboleth by which we judge other people’s orthodoxy. But, as we have seen, the purpose of scripture is salvation and primary beliefs are those vital to the doctrine of salvation – they are gospel issues. I am not saying these secondary issues are unimportant, but I am saying that because they are not gospel issues they are not primary.

  20. I try to stay away from the term 'antichrist' as no prophecy I have read refers to this person as 'the antichrist'. But yes, the little horn is the same as what people like to call 'antichrist'. When he comes on the scene is ripe for speculation. Quite a few factors are associated with his rise to power and authority, none of which seem to be happening now, or have happened in the past. Some say he is alive and kicking now, but people have said this for centuries so it's of no real value in interpretation of the fulfillment of the prophecies. The Dispensationalists say he will rise when a 'covenant with many is strengthened with great strength. I tend to see evidence to support that.

  21. Seems the depised Kings men tax collectors are still around today; and in the USA ever more so by going after the lower level earners of income! Why? Do the lower level earners have to pay any taxes at all? Seems according to the Wall Street Journal report the 87,000 ruler's tax collectors of the IRS, some complete with guns, are out to get those earning under $200,000 a year for they do not tend to have the resources to fight off the increase assessment of taxes an IRS auditor might demand is due to the US Treasury. While I feel it right for everyone to have to pay a share of taxes, without exception, I do find it interesting that the push to gain additional staff for IRS is not resulting in audit of major earners as was billed to be the purpose, but instead is resulting in more lower hanging fruit being squashed. One might look up the Wall Street Journal Article on "The $200,000 man" for details. Just as the poor will always be with us, I guess so will the king's tax collectors of rather despicable reputations. Sure makes a flat tax or a consumption only tax instead of income tax seem appealing. None the less pay to Caesar what is due Caesar, and to God give deep thanks for what is of God.

  27. Regardless of what we see or don't see in our earthly circumstances, we can be encouraged by four things from Jesus in His teachings on prayer (Luke 11:1–13; 18:1–8): 1. Our prayers will be answered. "'So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you'" (Luke 11:9). 2. God will always answer our prayers with good things (even if they aren't in the form we expect). "'Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!'" (Luke 11:11–13). 3. God isn't responsible for unnecessary delay. "And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?" (Luke 18:7). 4. Be persistent. If Jesus stressed the importance of persistence in prayer, we can know that our consistent prayers are doing something. "Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up" (Luke 18:1). "I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need" (Luke 11:8). 28. For the most part I agree. But in regard to prophetic significance for the last days, I see it as the religious mother of harlots which has sat upon all seven mountains and seen to be riding the beast (IMHO, the 8th and last prophetic great empire) in chapter 18. I feel that this union is prophetically significant of an unholy matrimony between the apostate religious system (whore) and the civil empire (beast). I do not see them being separated in judgment or destruction. I believe the ten other nations deceitfully agree to a new economic system which might be a gold back cryptocurrency, perhaps to counter what the economic collaboration called BRICS. I believe it will be a reaping of what has been sown, taking others into captivity, going into captivity, gaining power by the sword (weapon of war), and dying by the sword. WW2 brought about the decline of the British Empire, who controlled Palestine under its Commonwealth, which led to the rebirth of Israel, and the use of atomic weapons catapulted America into global supremacy. For funsies, here’s an interesting quote from “The Franck Report” that was signed by the top scientists who worked on the Manhattan Project. “All of us, familiar with the present state of nucleonics, live with the vision before our eyes of sudden destruction visited on our own country, of a Pearl Harbor disaster repeated in thousand-fold magnification in every one of our major cities.” A thorough reading of the Franck Report will show just how President Truman and other government leaders rejected the counsel of the wise, just like Rehoboam rejected the wisdom of his father’s counsellors when he was asked by Jeroboam to lower the taxes. After the scientists realized their letter had not been delivered, they wrote a second petition to President Truman, from which the following excerpt was taken. “The war has to be brought speedily to a successful conclusion and attacks by atomic bombs may very well be an effective method of warfare. We feel, however, that such attacks on Japan could not be justified, at least not unless the terms which will be imposed after the war on Japan were made public in detail and Japan were given an opportunity to surrender.” “If such public announcement gave assurance to the Japanese that they could look forward to a life devoted to peaceful pursuits in their homeland and if Japan still refused to surrender, our nation might then, in certain circumstances, find itself forced to resort to the use of atomic bombs. Such a step, however, ought not to be made at any time without seriously considering the moral responsibilities which are involved.” “The development of atomic power will provide the nations with new means of destruction. The atomic bombs at our disposal represent only the first step in this direction, and there is almost no limit to the destructive power which will become available in the course of their future development. Thus, a nation which sets the precedent of using these newly liberated forces of nature for purposes of destruction may have to bear the responsibility of opening the door to an era of devastation on an unimaginable scale.” It almost sounds prophetic, doesn't it?

  29. So good VA, And the Lord Himself does this when addressing the 7 churches in Revelation. The Lord addresses each group particularly, giving words of commendation and encouragement or chastisement and warnings. Christ then counsels each group presenting Himself in clarity and truth. The response is but to repent and obey His Holy Spirit. For example - 7. Laodicea - Man`s Character and his Purposes. (Rev. 3: 14 – 19) Christ reveals Himself to this group as the Originator (Beginning) & the one who will Terminate all things, (Amen) plus the one who oversees all in between. It is His purposes that will prevail, not man`s. `These things says the Amen, ......the Beginning of the creation of God.` (Rev. 3: 14) This group believe that by partnering with the world system they can transform & change the world bringing peace, hope & justice, through man`s efforts. This is shown by their name, which reveals their character & motives. Laodicea - `Laos` - people, & `dike` - justice, meaning – the people`s justice. This is spiritual adultery, joining with the world & not relying on the Lord. `....friendship with the world is enmity with God.` (James 4: 4) Friendship – from the Gk word, `philia` friendship & `philos` friend, associate, partner This group also look to the world for leadership techniques & business strategies, measuring their success by worldly standards. `I am rich, have become wealthy, & have need of nothing.` (Rev. 3: 17) The Lord however chastises them quite severely saying that He sees them as - `wretched, miserable, poor, blind & naked -` (Rev. 3: 17) This group should have been a `Witness` to the world of the power of God to change people. They should have been `faithful` to show that it is by His Spirit people are changed, & not by man`s efforts – promotions of organisations, entertainment, or big events etc. They should have been `true` to God`s word declaring that He will judge the world, instead of saying that He is transforming it for the better. The Lord `the faithful & True Witness` then addresses their watered down witness or `lukewarmness.` He tells them quite strongly, that unless they repent He will `vomit ` them out of His mouth.(Rev. 3: 16) He then counsels them to know Him as their source - `buy from Me gold....white garments...& anoint your eyes...` (Rev. 3: 18) Gold - Faith in Christ & not in man. (1 Peter 1: 7) White Garments - Christ`s righteousness not man`s efforts. (Titus 3: 5 & 6) Anoint your eyes - Insight by the Holy Spirit into Christ`s purposes, & not man`s purposes. (John 16: 13)

And they took over the temple, it was soaked with blood of those these leaders killed JEW'S. But they also minted coins, boasting. Josephus also talks about the miraraculous events which supposedly appeared in the heavens... Simon ben Giora He startled the Roman soldiers as he arose out of the rubble of the temple, dressed as a Judean king. He had attempted to dig himself out from the underground tunnels of the temple.... Then later, the last revolt of Bar Kachba. His coins also having images and inscriptions. He showed himself as a star, sitting above the temple. you can see the ark of the covenant inside. Nu 24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. Mt 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. The temple does not need to be rebuilt to see that, his image sitting over the temple and ark of the covenant, inscribed with "for the redemption of Zion. 33. I have always been in favor of a national sales tax to replace the income tax. The IRS, like other government departments, is too easily weaponized for political purposes. Apart from political corruption, it makes no sense to punish people, or companies, for being productive, stimulating the economy, and providing jobs to others. But it is entirely reasonable to tax people for the goods and services they withdraw from society. Currently the states of Nevada, Florida, Texas, Wyoming, and Oregon, all follow this system successfully. And it would work at the federal level. Income tax also punishes savings, which hinders investment, and leads to a paycheck to paycheck subsistence society. I should not be punished for pragmatic saving for the future. All saving should be tax free. Only consumption should be taxed. Money saved also provides businesses with the capital necessary to grow the economy through increased equity from investment, as well as availability of funds from lenders.

  42. Let me pose a possible answer. I myself and many Christians who believe in OSAS would tell you that REPENT in scripture is NOT referring to repenting of sin ( although I believe that is also very important ) but that Jesus and scripture meant to repent from Unbelief. The word repentance means literally to Change your mind. It is not primarily a change in action but a change in belief. This is consistent with salvation by faith and not by trying to keep the law.

  43. You are a preacher of righteousness, the righteousness that comes by faith in Jesus Christ. Paul understood something and this is, what we owe to one another is Love, because he understood that Jesus does towards those who believe in him, He only can loved them and never judged them. He may disapprove many of the things we do or we ought to do and we do not do while we still live. But always we are his people because we have obeyed the Heavenly Father and we do not just believe in Him but we also believe in his Son Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins. We are not in the sin of unbelief in Jesus Christ. We believe both in God and the one he sent to die for the forgiveness of our sins, the heir of Heaven Jesus Christ. So we know where we will end up when we die, we will end up in Heaven to be together with Jesus Christ our Savior, the Savior of all the world. In Him (Jesus Christ) we are saved from the condemnation of our sins Amen.

  44. I'm not saved because I sin or never sin. I am saved because I believe He is who He said He was and where He came from John 3:16/Rom 10:9-10. Sin is fun for a season but what sin does is takes you away from God and then it will kill you. He loves us so much and He knows this is a fallen world. We come to Him as we are not only if we stop sinning first. For me 55y in the lord He has never once made me feel bad or guilty nor condemned me for any sin. The times I got stuck seeing just my sin wanting to walk away from all this.. all He did was tell my how righteous, in right standing with God. Its not how we see our selfs its how He sees us. Its already finished, Christ did it all not us. I don't have any right to sin but He already died for the sin of the world. So we are no longer slaves to sin but slaves to righteousness. Your looking at it wrong. Your "works" do not touch salvation. Some do tend to see sin as more powerful then Salvation. Stop sinning.. like He told the one "go and sin no more least a worse thing come on you". If we focus on the sin that's all we will see. Look at what He already did...focus on Him. This is not a race to see who is the best at not sinning for we all lost already. Who do we rely on, lean on when we fall is what matters. Never take your eyes off Him. Do not get stuck looking at self. Its all Him.. His joy, His strength, His peace, His armor, His might blah blah blah. My wife once said to me about 35y ago "if you love me you would not do that". Just knowing she was right was not good enough. I had to know I was wrong and want to change. I'm getting at .. I don't do good works because I was told to or thats what the bible says. Doing it that way.. well its not good works. It has to be from the heart.. its just in me.. I want to do good things yet there is the other side that loves so sin. Its a fight we do every moment of ever day no one is free YET from it. Its why in Eph we read "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind" and in Phil where we think on these "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" and "where we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”. We have to do these things 24/7 for sin is always as the door. So you are in right standing with God not because of good works but what Christ has already done.

  45. The initial sin that we have to repent of is our rebellion against God's authority. (All other sins are symptoms and consequences of that one). You can't trust in Jesus without that repentance - it would be a contradiction in terms. You can't have faith in Jesus without calling Him Lord. But then, if our faith (trust) and our confession are genuine, we will obey our Lord (Luke 6:46). As James puts it, faith that doesn't have some kind of practical outcome ("works") isn't a real living faith (James 2:14). So we are saved by faith - but works are the evidence of faith. No works, no faith.

  46. by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent (Worthy News) – Former President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) came together to support a bill for election integrity that would require all voters to provide proof of U.S. citizenship before voting in federal elections. At a joint press conference held at Mr. Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate, both speakers emphasized the need for measures to guarantee the integrity of national elections and to prevent illegal immigrants from casting votes that could potentially alter election outcomes. “What we’re going to do is introduce legislation to require that every single person who registers to vote in a federal election must prove that they are an American citizen first,” the speaker said. Johnson added, “You will see Republicans stand for election integrity. Democrats are going to have to go on the record.” While noncitizens are permitted to vote in some local elections, they are prohibited from participating in all state and federal elections. Nevertheless, the federal voter registration form in the United States does not mandate documentary proof of citizenship, and attempts by states to enforce such a requirement have faced opposition from the Biden administration. The speaker explained that the proposed legislation would implement new measures to guarantee that only citizens can vote. It would compel states to purge noncitizens from their voter rolls and grant them access to Department of Homeland Security and Social Security Administration databases to facilitate this process. “Congress has this responsibility. We cannot wait for widespread fraud to occur … especially when the threat of fraud is growing with every single illegal immigrant that crosses that border,” Johnson said. In a statement issued by the Biden campaign, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) criticized the announcement as a “sham.” He accused Mr. Trump of being unable to “admit the truth: that he lost the 2020 election.” “Donald Trump and Mike Johnson aren’t interested in election integrity,” stated Thompson. “Their only concern is aiding Trump’s campaign of revenge and retribution to reclaim power by any means necessary.” On Friday, Speaker Johnson played a pivotal role, casting the tie-breaking vote in a crucial decision that would have necessitated a warrant for any surveillance authorized by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) on American citizens. Despite Mr. Trump’s public appeal to lawmakers to “kill” the law, Johnson’s vote sided with the majority of his colleagues. His decision, however, did not sit well with one of Mr. Trump’s staunchest allies, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who criticized Johnson for his handling of Ukraine war aid and government spending, threatening to oust him from his speaker position. The tension escalated as Ms. Greene voiced her discontent to reporters, questioning, “What is the difference between Speaker Johnson and Speaker Nancy Pelosi?” She also targeted Johnson in a fundraising email, accusing him of aligning with “The Company” that represents the political establishment or “Swamp,” thereby betraying Republicans and the American people. Despite these accusations, Mr. Trump defended Johnson, acknowledging the complexity of his position and expressing his good relations with both the speaker and Ms. Greene. “I think he is doing a very good job,” Trump stated, highlighting his ongoing support for Johnson despite the internal party conflict. 47. By Worthy News’ George Whitten and Stefan J. Bos JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – Israel’s military said Sunday that Iran launched over 200 killer drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic rockets toward Israel, adding to fears the attacks would escalate into a regional Middle East war. https://www.worthynews.com/wordpressimages/2024/04/IranAttacksIsrael.mp4 Objects were seen illuminating the sky above Jerusalem, and there were reports of casualties. A seven-year-old girl from a Bedouin village near Arad was seriously wounded by the Iranian attack, according to Israel’s rescue service Magen David Adom. Her injuries came as witnesses spoke of “hundreds of drones and missiles,” though many were reportedly shot down by U.S., British, and Jordanian forces in the region. Tehran had threatened to retaliate against Israel after its consulate in Damascus, Syria, was hit by a suspected Israeli strike that killed several high-ranking Iranian officials. The Islamic Republic’s attack accused Israel of killing top Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Mohammad Reza Zahedi on April 1, among others. He had reportedly directed Iran’s indirect attacks on Israel in Lebanon and Syria and was a top coordinator with the Hezbollah militia. The strikes were reportedly backed by Tehran’s allies, including Yemen’s Houthi rebels, who launched multiple drones at Israel in coordination with Iran, security sources said. Britain-based security firm Ambrey suggested that the projectiles were likely timed to reach Israel simultaneously with Iran’s missiles and drones. MANY LAUNCHED “Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were reportedly launched by the Houthis toward Israel. The UAVs were launched in coordination with Iran,” the company says. “Israeli ports are assessed to be potential targets,” it adds and warns of “collateral damage” to shipping. Besides the Houthis, Lebanon-based Hezbollah said they fired dozens of Katyusha rockets from Lebanon towards the Golan Heights, setting off sirens in the Snir kibbutz, officials said. It added to military challenges as Iran already launched its weapons against Israel. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief Spokesman Daniel Hagari confirmed that Israel and its allies shot down several of the rockets and drones fired toward the Jewish nation. “Together [with our partners], we are operating at this very moment. So far, we have intercepted a vast majority of missiles, attack drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles outside of Israel’s border,” Hagari stressed. Hagari cautioned that the Iranian attack was not over yet. Almost all interceptions, the military said, have been by aircraft and military interception systems such as the David’s Sling. The Iron Dome, which defends well against Hamas and Hezbollah’s simple rockets, is “less relevant for drones and fancier long-range missiles,” according to experts. SHOOTING MISSILES However, besides Israel, Jordan, the United States, and Britain were involved in shooting down Iranian drones and missiles. Shortly after the Iranian strike began, Iraqi officials announced that Iraqi airspace was being closed. Lebanon and Jordan also decided to close their airspace on Saturday night. Several drones were seen flying from the direction of Iran over Iraq’s Sulaymaniya province, security sources said. Additional waves of drones and missiles were seen over other areas in Iraq and Jordan later in the night. Jordanian jets reportedly shot down dozens of Iranian drones. Egypt’s air defense was also on alert, with the Egyptian military and security sources saying they feared an Iranian drone attack aimed toward Israel. British Royal Air Force jets in the Middle East “will intercept any airborne attacks within range of our existing missions, as required” after Iran targeted Israel with drones and missiles, a spokesperson said. “In response to increased Iranian threats and the growing risk of escalation in the Middle East, the UK Government has been working with partners across the region to encourage de-escalation and prevent further attacks,” the statement added. Iraqi security sources told Arabic media that several Iranian missiles fell near Yusufiya, south of Baghdad, on Saturday night. An Iranian drone also fell in Shiraz in south-central Iran, Iranian sources said. SPARKING PANIC The Iranian attack against Israel sparked panic in Iran and Lebanon. Witnesses saw long lines in gas stations in Iran and Lebanon, where residents rushed to prepare for a feared escalation in the region after Iran attacked Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a video message before the attack, said that “in recent years, and even more so in recent weeks, Israel has been preparing for the possibility of a direct attack from Iran.” He warned Tehran that “whoever harms us, we will hurt them. We will protect ourselves from any threat, and we will do so with steadfastness and determination.” “Together we will overcome all our enemies,” he said as he urged Israelis to listen to the Home Front Command directives and thanked Israel’s allies, such as the US, France, and Britain, “for standing with the Jewish state.” “Our defense systems are deployed. We are prepared for any scenario, both in defense and attack,” Netanyahu pledged, adding that the IDF, the state, and the public “were strong.” Back in Washington D.C., the White House said that “US President Joe Biden is being regularly updated on the situation by his national security team and will meet with them this afternoon at the White House.” President Biden “has been clear: our support for Israel’s security is ironclad. The United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defense against these threats from Iran,” stressed the White House. Biden and Netanyahu spoke over the phone early Sunday morning for about half an hour, and the United Nations Security Council was to hold an emergency meeting on Sunday afternoon in light of the attack. As news spread about the attacks against Israel, a Christian in Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim nation, told Worthy News: “We need to pray for Israel.” The post Over 200 Iranian Drones, Missiles In Israel (Video) appeared first on Worthy Christian News. 48. You see no scriptural basis for Jerusalem to be Babylon? You must not be paying attention to the Lord. Mathew 23 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! If Jesus is correct and Jerusalem is responsible for ALL the righteous blood shed upon earth then what city is responsible for all the slain upon earth? Revelation 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth
