  1. Blessings Worthy Family! I am deeply saddened this evening by the news that a dear friend no longer wishes to participate as a member of our community, our family, here at Worthy...why?Well,my dear friend is hurt partly by not receiving points from other members,of course that is a very small part of it but it made a big impression with me.......now,please...consider this from anothers point of view, okay? This person had many issues concerning very bad behavior displayed by Christians, that I don't see anything I could do about that except pray for them...but perhaps we could do something about the little things? Hopefully ,when we reply,we pray & are lead with wisdom & understanding by the power of the Holy Spirit and not of our own unreliable hearts & minds....our intent should always be to encourage one another & help one another and let the result give glory to God....we are not here seeking mans approval. We try our best not to take it personally when others opinions differ from our own but not everyone is alike & some people do take things very personally. I have not started this topic so that anyone should criticize people that take what others say personally or to criticize them about being offended by getting "points''or not getting them.My purpose is to just make others aware of these things that may not even know what the little number in the bottom right hand corner of our posts may be.......that is a little "vote" to say that you liked their post......I like seeing that others liked what I have posted but I am not here to receive votes or points ,I wish to serve the Lord & it does not matter to me if I don't get any votes...but I do click on when I like what I have read.My friend was not here for points either but its funny how the same people do get votes & the same people dont...perhaps new members are unaware of it entirely? Perhaps some of you will consider this when reading what others have posted, maybe your vote may be just the little vote of confidence that person needed....I tried to tell my friend to reconsider but my friend has concluded that most here are very "clickish":and they feel very attacked by most responses..I do hope we can all learn to be very considerate of one another in the future, realizing that a harsh word can do alot of damage I would also like to ask all of you to say a special prayer for this member of our family that they will come back to the fold to feel loved and appreciated With love,in Christ-Kwik

  2. Blessings Sister Zion! What beautiful words you have spoken,& yes-lets just love them all,in spite of themselves(lol)I just came off a thread where I almost just logged off...Ah,Sis-I had to pray-you just ponder some thoughts & every sentence is picked apart(for what reason?)We know they know they have read the Bible & know the Scriptures, and so do we.... Oh dear,1xs1is1...please do not mistake a little venting for anything more than just that....Worthy is a Blessing from God and 95% of the people here are Spirit filled ,loving, wonderful, children of God....I could not love them more! Some people just take everything personally like I think my friend does(though my friend disagrees)s what we all must do is exactly what Zion said & just love one another, pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit, encourage one another & pray for one another...We are truly Bothers & Sisters in Christ....Glory to God! When you liked what you have read you see that little green box with the arrow & click on it...it will show a number next to it,thats how many people voted positive! And it should not be about that but it does show positive reactions......that what that is-lol With love ,in Christ-Kwik

  3. I'm sorry about your friend. It really shouldn't be about points, but it is a good thing to encourage one another that we are in agreement together. On the harsh words, I think that it's generally a bad testimony, but maybe there have been instances when I myself have sounded harsh and not realised? Hope not. Unfortunately, I have seen quite a few repeat offenders without mercy; I sometimes wonder if they care that they're pushing people away, like I've seen it happen and have indeed experienced for myself. But you can't paint everyone over with the same brush, we are each individuals, none perfect (though we are being changed from glory to glory) and we are called to love. You shall know them by their fruits, yes; but by this they shall know that we are Christ's disciples, in that we love one another. So, whether people allow us to or not, let's just do it. Blessings, Z

  4. I wondered what that Reputation box was all about. I still don't know how it works. I can see here that it evidently runs deep on some minds. Good or bad I can't say, but I am too new in here to have observed any clicks. Now that it has been mentioned I will keep my eyes open.

  5. If Hinn and others are doing these things, and I believe they are, they will have to account for their actions when they stand before the Lord. Wouldn't want to be in their number. Using Jesus to promote yourself and raise money is unbelievably appalling.

  6. I can't let this go...the reason Israel did not go into the Land was because of disobedience primarily. Most of the Old Testament is about Israel's disobedience. God's conditional Covenant had nothing to do with whether the Israelites believed hard enough or not...the condition was obedience. Also, it amazes me how some claim to be healers yet they steer clear of hospitals and poverty stricken places. The majority of the alleged healings seem to take place in particular churches that over-emphasize the Holy Spirit. If Jesus is not the focus of a church, things are not right.

  8. Sure Patriot, but from what and to what? Or are you just for anarchy in general? Not necessarily a violent one, but our government does need revamping. Perhaps as far as 1776 standards, but I think our current party system needs done with, probably 95% of those in office fired, and new people drawn from the working ranks put in their place.

  9. The fact that a woman is mentioned should be a red flag, and should take us back to the prophecy of Zechariah which calls the woman "Wickedness" (Zech 5:5-11) and also mentions Shinar (Babylon). The fact that leaven represents corruption (sin and evil) in the Bible should be a red flag. Check out the other references to leaven in the Bible, and what unleavened bread represents. And if you believe that the Kingdom of Heaven (Christendom) has not been corrupted by the leaven of false doctrine and apostasy, then that is called burying your head in the sand. The Lord and His apostles already warned us that this would happen, and that is what this parable is about, and that is what we see all around us. Please note in the other parables that there are wheat (good) and tares (bad), good fish and bad fish, and that it was the Enemy who sowed the tares into the wheat. Who is this Enemy? So to claim that the Kingdom of Heaven is free from evil influences (seducing spirits and doctrines of devils) is to simply deceive ourselves. Mystery Babylon is the worldwide apostate system of religions which began in Babel, which is presently growing by leaps and bounds, and will end in the reign of the Beast, whose image will be worshipped in a time to come. A large part of "Christendom" is included here, and discerning Christians will understand this.

  10. The simplest way to understand this is that when Jesus of Nazareth came to Israel, He came as their Messiah-King. Therefore as long as He was on earth, it was "the Gospel of the Kingdom", and even there this phrase occurs only in Matthew and Mark. After the King was rejected and crucified, it was no longer the Gospel of the Kingdom. But at its core it was the Gospel of Salvation by grace through faith in the Person and finished work of Christ, which is the Everlasting Gospel. At the same time, Jesus said that "the Kingdom of God is within you", and therefore you will find "the Kingdom of God" (the rule of Christ over the Church) mentioned over and over again in the epistles. This Kingdom is presently invisible ("my Kingdom is not of this world"), but will be established as a visible Kingdom at the beginning of the Millennium, and will remain for eternity.

  13. Blessings Everyone, I certainly agree with Walla *& man....it only takes one little moment to give a thumbs up or an encouraging word(you are both so kind)....And WIP,of course you would understand that people are different & get offended by things perhaps you & I would not(you are always considerate from what I have read.....otherone,I would think it safe to say alot of people don't even realize what its there for, someone began to explain about it having no bearing on the color of screen names(not sure why they thought anyone did think it was relative?) but anyway,Pat thank you,I was sorry too Fez-you must of been a bad boy(you 2 are so funny-lol).....Lady Kay,that was a good suggestion & you and the others that have expressed their concern & compassion will be happy to know that my friend kicked the dust off his/her feet & have returned...... Personally I do not have much experience on computers so I don't know how it is on other sites,I only know Worthy and I have no desire to go anywhere else....but I do know that in the world there will always be people that like us & people that don't...people that are kind ,people that are harsh.....know it alls & those with a teachable spirit...those that have the love of Christ & those that are full of contempt........and one kind word can go a real long way!Praise & Glory to God,Peace & Love Worthy Family! 14. The purpose of “like” and “dislike” rating buttons is to give users an alternative way to say they agree or disagree with the content in a post, rather than spend time typing out a response. Saves time that way. It was never intended to be used as a status symbol. If every person on this site agreed on every post and issue, it would be very boring. Even folks who have been married more than 20 yrs do not agree on every issue with their spouse. Your friend needs to realize that what goes on here, happens on every message board. Whether the site has reputations points enabled or not enabled. It is just the nature of message boards and being human. The “reputation” point button down in the lower right hand side of every post does has no baring on the color of screen names. Purple or gray colored screen names indicate that the person is part of the ministry here. (moderators and prayer team) Two of the three shades of red, indicate whether a member is a non-believer or a seeker. The rest just indicate the number of posts we have.

  15. Its sad that one the reason would leave the forum over the "point issue" because thats not the reason we participate here. On most forums there is some sort of "scoring" what others post and there is always those who are offended in one way or another. I've never liked this because of the hurt it causes to some, and for that reason would like to see it gone..the "like" button which some forums use seems kinder as no score is kept.

  16. Please pray for Christians in Belarus! They can't evangelize openly; world famous preachers cannot visit Belarus for crusades. Bible studies at home and home griups are officially banned, it is allowed for Christians to gather only in church buildings. Pastors have to become really creative in order to spread the word of God! Please watch and share this video, so more people could pray for Belarus! Be blessed!

  21. The bottom line is not everyone is healed. I don't understand why some are and why some are not. But being sarcastic about it I think is uncalled for. My friend Katie who passed away from breast cancer believed she could be healed, if that is what God chose to do. The way she looked at it was this. "If God heals me I win, if He doesn't I still win" I would say being with the Lord is winning.

  22. Will you Stop keeping in your mind all those WOF teachers. This prejudice Hinders talking with you. It started with me saying God is limited by unbelief. You stated God is not limited by unbelief. There is a big disconnect here with post after post before being able to get a connection with you. Nobody said God if He wanted could stick his head through the clouds and say "Everyone bow" and every knee on the planet would hit the ground. No question in my mind, and that would be despite those that did not believe in him. Then you say because of unbelief, God did not give them the things God had planned for them. Certainly God said I am giving you the promise land, then in Numbers 14 God said I am breaching my promise to you. Why? Those people did not trust God in anything, despite God showing himself strong. Had God just taken them to the promise land anyway, it would not have been long they would have lost it all again. So, if God set the system by where Unbelief in Him, makes him say that man will receive nothing of me, then for the person who did not trust God or believe what He had said has limited God by their actions toward God. So, by your last statement (Finally) I agree. You get this idea that by some will of our own we make God do this or that. We limit God through our own ability. That is what appears you think some believe. Faith, does what God says do, not what we want to do. It's only though obedience of faith in What God wanted and said do we see miracles. Not of ourselves, or some force of faith we have. Faith does it God's way, though it may not look like it will work. That is faith, and to think you can march around a city and have it just fall would take that faith. Blessing Shiloh.

  23. 58And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief. Perhaps it is not that He is limited - perhaps it is just His policy or choice! There are divine set spiritual laws God set in place, and won't break despite wanting to help us. Jesus was stopped because of their unbelief, but most important their total lack of respect for him while he was there put them in a position to not receive from him what He had to offer. Let's face it, if you think I am dumb, and can't do things right, the despite me knowing how to paint, may stop you from asking me to be the one to pain your house, even for free. So you would not receive what I was offering you, even for free based on what you thought of me. They Saw Jesus no better than they where........ "Is this not Joseph boy who we grew up with? Who is he coming in here with all this revelation?" Satan, the other factor: For some odd reason, by what the Lord and Satan worked out long ago, the devil has rights. Even the devils accused Jesus and rebuked him in the name of God for coming to torment them the before it was time. They felt Jesus has no legal ground to operate on earth in the Power of the Son of God. Jesus has a flesh body though, and was born of a women which gave him the right. unbelief, sides with the devil who tells you that your not going to make it. Unbelief sides with God not supplying all your needs, and fear things are not going to turn out well. We can't pick and side with one Kingdom, and expect the other Kingdom to just over run who we take sides with. The Kingdom we take sides with, is the one that will rule over us. So, it's not that God could not just squash the devil and do what God really wants to do. However, If God did that, He would have to violate his own Word, and eternal spiritual laws He set fourth. Those Laws work for people, or they work against, everything is being upheld by the Word of his power, and God is not changing what is already been declared. Some think Sovereign means God is an outlaw, and does what He wants, when He wants. Sovereign to God is that He had it all planed out perfectly the first time, spoke, and the right thing stood fast and correct though eternity. I already told you that you would say the scripture does not mean that. Tavah -scraping the pieces together through confusion and grief was translated limited in the YLT (Youngs litteral) the KJV the Web Bible NLT translates it into frustrated. You can' work with someone who constantly frustrates you. NIV says vexed, something they did. The whole descriptor of the Word and the way it was translated is in line with Hebrews. They did not enter in because of unbelief, and unbelief limits what God can do for someone not in agreement with him. Why???? Let your Sovereign God Doctrine shut your understanding. Sovereign is not even in scriptures, You cling to something not even mentioned, and allow it to shut off understanding.

  25. Heb_4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Psa 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. Here is your scripture Shiloh, why do I even have to post it? You can't connect dot 1 to dot 2, on and on about what Shiloh believes despite the scriptures I give. They limited God because of unbelief!!!!! Now go tell me the scripture does not really say that. Go ahead. Believe what you want, I have wasted enough of my time. I have been trying to get you to see something, and the eyes stay closed. Mike

  26. I would like to know who we are to judge whether these people are healed or not. God still is in the healing business. So I'm not going to judge anyone or anything. To say God has nothing to do with it is just not a fair statement. And in my book a tad bit on the cynical side.

  27. Heb_3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Heb_4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Heb_4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Naaman had faith, He said just pray and he would be healed. His issue was not wanting to wash in the river He was told to wash in. The Disciples faith had nothing to do with the Storm, it was Jesus who spoke to the Storm and His faith. God worked Miracles on the behalf of Moses who God was working with, God also listened to Moses the times God wanted to be done with Israel. Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Mal_3:13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? Amo_3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? ------------------------------------------------ So all these scriptures must be wrong, Shiloh knows best, Unbelief does not limit God. Unbelief and doubt did not cause Peter to sink and Unbelief was not the reason Israel did not enter into the promise land. We can speak what we want, believe what we want and it don't mean a thing. God does what God wants to do. Got it, I guess those scriptures and many more had me a bit confused, thank you for clearing that up Shiloh. Jesus saying all things are possible to them that believe and James warning that someone that waivers will not receive anything from the Lord must have just been fairy tales added to the Word by some fiction writer. Makes sense to me, glad that is sorted.

  29. Prosperity Gospel? Hahahaha! This lady heard that Mozambique was the poorest, war torn, nation in the world so she rushed there with nothing in her pockets but a plain ticked. The Lord started a mighty revival, and millions are coming to Him. She lives with the poor and her life is wrapped up in bringing the Gospel to the poorest of the poor. To say she teaches the prosperity Gospel, you would have to twist her words and teachings. I've heard a sermon where she was cracking jokes against the prosperity Gospel. Investigate before you accuse. I have a close friend who have gone on mission trips in Mozambique with the Bakers, and know a handful that have ministered with them. https://www.irisglobal.org/about/history "Iris Global currently feeds well over 10,000 children a day, as well as various members of many other communities, currently including 4,000 families in Malawi. Its network of churches also numbers more than 10,000, including some 2,000 churches among the Makua people of northern Mozambique. Iris operates five Bible schools, in addition to its three primary schools and its school of missions in Pemba. Current major projects include continuing outreaches to very remote coastal regions via Iris’s recently acquired boat, expansion of Iris’s air transport abilities, investment in a range of cottage industries, and a special well-drilling initiative. Iris, having recently acquired a drilling rig by generous funding from several U.S. churches, intends to transform life in desperately dry villages everywhere possible."

I am not used in healing miracles sitting at home and going to church every Sunday. If you have stepped out and laid hands on one in Jesus name and they were healed of something, then stories like this are not hard at all to believe. Mike.

  32. Many of your cons seem valid. I surely can't tell you what to do or give you professional advice, but I can tell you about my daughter's circumstance. Lindsay had a best friend from the 7th grade, his name was Zach and they both were friends with another boy Aaron. The three were all only children, played in the band, top of their class... so the friendship only increased as they went into high school. In their senior year Lindsay and Zach started to see each other more than buddies. They did not want to ruin their friendship, but as Zach said to Lindsay "If we don't at least try, we may never know. Perhaps we will regret this for a lifetime." They dated and tried to make it work but they both realized they would rather be friends. It was difficult, a short period of awkwardness happened. The three are still best friends.. they were in each others weddings, their spouses are now part of the group, they vacation together and are so glad that they did try and that the small period of awkwardness didn't turn into a lifetime of avoiding each other or creating scenarios in their heads each time they ran into each other. Whichever decision you make... pray first... then proceed.

I can fake it and kid myself, but underneath I am always sold to self. But occasionally I get a dim glimpse of Jesus Christ, and then I hunger for the day that I will actually appreciate Him for who He is, and I say "Bless you Lord, bless you a million times."

  35. Yes he is. But he wasn't asked that. He was asked if he had a personal animosity against gays. Many of these spiteful Liberals believe that if you are against gay marriage then you must hate gays. They try to twist these things by claiming that those who are against the homosexual agenda are people who are full of hate. It's disgusting and it's deceitful. Ted Cruz was fed up of being asked the same questions over and over and asked why the Left are obsessed by sex.
