very easy to do... Gen 1:1 states 'In the beginning' within that boundary God states Genesis 2:1 (KJV) [2:1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. [2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. the hermeneutical confinement is that which began -being all that has beginning/by God's making leaving only the exclusion God Himself ->thus upon the Word itself all the host of them (heavens plural) and earth includes angels 'Heavens' and all that was made on 'earth'. There was nothing before Gen 1:1 but God Himself according to the Scriptures context here in Genesis. This is how you stand upon what is written and not adding to or take away correctly presenting thus sayeth The Lord or letting the Scriptures speak for themselves...

The waters have been trickling in , but soon a wave of monster size in a grandest of delusion will strike the hearts and minds of those who rejected the love of truth and they will believe the world peace lie and the king who comes in by peace , THEN begins a world wide scourge of all it deems as haters and dangerous. folks that us they will be after. for those of us who wont conform to the lie that God is in all religons , that wont stop calling sin , sin , we will be seen as monsters by all other relgions , non religious and even many who claimed to be christain. ITS On the way ,GET OUT , get out of the churches , if your church is not focusing on HOLINESS , godliness but just on good works and peace ,GET OUT OF IT , its in the early stages of this deception , GET OUT , COME OUT from them fast , or go under the delusion they will speak.

If you really want help, find some way to get yourself a bible, go out over a weekend someplace quite so you can be by yourself and just open up to God and tell him you are in over your head and ask him for his help... Sooner or later if you survive you will have to give yourself over to Jesus for him to save you from what you have wandered into.... I've been close to where you are and it's for sure that you make the wrong choice.... but it's not too late to recover from it.... and don't let Satan tell you that you've gone too far...... with Jesus there is not too far if you really want to change.

Alright. I feel like I made a grave mistake. Heres my background story. I guess you could say I am in the occult. I worship Lucifer as my God, and talk to demons to help me out with my wishes. Great. The problem is, I don't know if I made the right choice. I feel I didn't, but any step towards god and I cringe. I can't even think about god without a severe headache. I mean, Im happy as a clam, but I cannot stand god anymore. I will save my choice words, but I don't know where I went wrong. This step just kind of happened for me. Any advice on what to do would be appreciated. Thanks. Oh, please don't freak out at me. I didn't do anything to you. Ive had plenty of that. Im just looking for help so I came here.

If you are sincere, and the Lord God will know that, then ask for Him to send someone to come and minister to you. You probably cannot do very much as you are being driven in the wrong direction at present by the wrong spirit. I have also seen this. A sincere prayer to the Lord God who Made The Heavens and The Earth for help will start you on the journey of the rest of your life.

I still haven't found any scriptural support for this idea of a "great revival" where a great multitude of unbelievers beyond number come to a martyr's faith during the great tribulation. On the contrary: Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 If you can support the notion of a great multitude of unbelievers who shake off the strong delusion that God sends and attain a martyr's faith in such a short time, please post the scriptures. If there is no scriptural support, why believe it? Why put it forth as truth? The above passage runs contrary to what you're teaching.

A couple possible thoughts, but don't take either as definitive. 1. Not sure how accurate this is, but part of it was possibly simply a cultural "bargaining" type of thing as to how things were transacted. No, no sir, I couldn't possibly ask you for money in this time of grief, just bury your dead... No, no, I insist on paying... No, No, I cannot accept, but here's what's it's worth, but you really don't have to pay.... No, No, I insist on paying... I read something to this extent in a book somewhere, but cannot remember the details. The bottom line is that each side was "giving" something to the other instead of "buying and selling" but there was an expectation that the "gift" was to be given on both sides. 2. Another possibility is that Abraham refused to accept any financial gain from the peoples of the area much like he also didn't accept anything from the king of Sodom when Abraham, his household, and his allies went to rescue Lot.

I was on vacation so I missed some reading (ok so I missed a lot). Catching up now. So far in genesis 13:14, a jewish woman once told me that whenever you see the phrase lifted their eyes, it refers to looking at things on a spiritual level as well. I dont know how true that is, but certainly in this verse, as in genesis 22:4, there is a spiritual aspect to those verses. Gen 13:14 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; Gen 13:15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. Compare to Gen 22:4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. Gen 22:5 And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”

I notice Genesis 18 includes the same phrase and spiritual connotation. 1 Then the Lord appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground,

Someone mentioned that we can be "too Holy Their is no such thing indeed. an appearance of being holy is not the same thing as BEING HOLY. one is appearance only , meant for the eyes of men to see. THE OTHER one is LIVING HOLY not for the praise of men , but just by his power and it pleases GOD . BE YE HOLY for HE IS HOLY. that you would walk WORTHY of HIM who has called you. I disagree with the bolded statement "Deception is the single greatest threat to Christians". In my opinion, the single greatest threat to Christians is not consistently walking with God themselves. It is the time we spend in prayer, Bible reading, meditation, study, being with other Christians, and other such spiritual exercises that causes us to grow strong and mature. It is when we neglect those things that we become weak spiritually. Being deceived is one symptom of many of not walking closely with God. It is not so much a cause of spiritual weakness as one result of being spiritually weak. We do not avoid deception by spending our time looking for it to identify it. We avoid deception by knowing God so well that anything not from Him becomes obvious to us. This is a result of growing spiritually and walking closely with God. Another symptom of not walking closely with God is turning holiness and righteousness into a series of litmus tests we apply to our brothers and sisters. Instead of looking to actual fruit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, self-control and similar things as listed in Gal 5) and changes in people's lives, we look at particular behaviors. Chew gum in church? They obviously are not serious about God. Clap in church? They are completely irreverent and lack respect for God. Read the wrong version of the Bible? They're on the road to serving Satan. Not go to church enough services per week? Falling away or not saved. The bottom line is that many Christians and churches create a man-made system of rules of so-called holiness that really amounts to "this is the way we do it and thanks be to God we're the only ones who do it right." If you don't sing the right songs in the right way with the right musical instruments, read the right version of the Bible, pray just the right way (no too loud and exuberantly nor too soft or timidly), act just right in church (not too dead and frozen but not too loud and emotional), avoid particular worldly influences, vote for the right political party, etc., then you are failing as a Christian, or most likely, you are not even a real Christian but just deceived that you are a Christian. Anyone disagree with that? They are obviously a wolf, false prophet, or completely sin-filled and deceived. I'll be completely blunt. Some Christians waste time on spiritual witch hunts focusing on seeking out every possible Satanic influence in the world and the church. Many of them seem to take the approach of, "when in doubt, throw it out" with regard to anything and everything that offends them. Time (that in my opinion) would be better spent learning more about God, how to walk with Him, and doing what He wants us to do is being wasted on reading newspapers to see how they correlate with Bible prophecy, internet conspiracy sites, and books that are obsessed with pointing out and cataloging every possible error and sin the authors can imagine. Opportunities that could be taken to learn from other Christians are instead viewed as opportunities to correct them and argue with them about how they are wrong. Frankly, these Christians are very much like Peter walking on the water (Matt 14:22-33). At first, he was focused on Jesus and became the only person other than Jesus to walk on water. Then he started to look around at the wind, waves, and sea and started to fear and sink. Some Christians seem to want to put their attention onto the wind, waves, and sea and worry about everything around them. At some point, if you are spending more time focusing on the wind, waves, and sea than focusing on Jesus, you will start to sink. Time that would be better spent advancing the Kingdom of God is instead spent on arguing who is greatest and most correct. To be blunt, the OP is completely focused on avoidance, not advancement. You can flee a thousand directions from a thousand bad things. However, you can only advance in one direction toward Jesus. Put your eyes on Jesus and look to follow Him. Of course, there will be trouble, sins, persecution, and testing around us in the world. However, we need to keep our focus on Him and help encourage our brothers and sisters to do the same. The more we focus and talk about the wind, waves, and sea around us, the more we draw our attention and their attention away from Jesus as well.

Scriptures show that originally, Long before Adam and Eve were created, God created the Earth and placed Lucifer as ruler of the society there. God gave Lucifer control of the Earth kingdom (Rev. 12:12; Ezek. 28:11-18; Isa. 14:12-14). Lucifer obeyed God and ruled for an unknown time before "Iniquity was found in him. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" (Ezek. 28:13-15). Before Adam Lucifer was the ruler of the Earth. God is taking about Lucifer in these Scriptures. He was a perfectly created arc angel; "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" (Ezek. 28:13-15). He over a long period of time convinced one third of God's angels to rebell with him and they rebelled against God and His universal rule, and invaded heaven to try and de-throne God Himself. (Ezek 28:11-18; Isa. 14:12-14). Naturally Lucifer was defeated, and his kingdom on the earth was totally destroyed by a flood and by the fierce anger of God (Gen. 1;2; Jer. 4:23-26; Ps. 104:5-9; 2 Pet. 3:5-6), hence the severe geological contortions of the earth's crust, vast deposits of bones in various places world wide, fossiles thousands or millions of years old etc. The earth was turned upside down in this process, ever wondered why the moon is poc marked by countless craters, and yet we never see anything plowing into it these days causing such destruction. What about the other dead planets in our immediate solar system? The flood God caused to cover the earth remained for an unknown period of time, and then God, in six days restored the earth to a habitable state and made Adam and his creation to carry out the original plan of God concerning the Earth (Gen. 1:3-2:25). Lucifer and his spirit rebels caused man to fall and by this regained dominion of the earth through Adams submission (2 Cor. 11:3; Eph. 2:1-3; 6:10-18; Rom. 5:12-21). Lucifer has been in control ever since and he will remain in control untill the second coming of Jesus Christ who will put down all rebellion in the Millennium. God will then finally make a New heavens and a New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness forever (1 Cor. 15:24-28; Rev. 19:11-22:5). This doctrine is so simple for most men to understand, so they reject it. Especially many churches for some reason. 2 Peter 3:5-7 expresses this clearly in plain human language, "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing (emerging) out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world THAT THEN WAS, being overflowed with water, PERISHED: But the heavens and the Earth, WHICH ARE NOW, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." This is where people become confused and say the world "that then was," was the world before Noah's flood, but this cannot be because: If the world that THAT THEN WAS" is that between Adam and the flood of Noah, then God created The heavens and the Earth WHICH ARE NOW" since the flood of Noah. Noah and his family lived prior to his flood and after it. The world "THAT THEN WAS PERISHED" and everything in it also perished. What change could Noah's flood make to the heavens? None, for floods on Earth can never cover the heavens. The earth, vegetation, the heavens, all remained the same after Noah's flood. Peter, in (2 Peter 3:3-7) taught that scoffers were totally ignorant of the flood that destroyed the social system and the earth "that then was" (lucifers flood). These scoffers all knew of Noah's flood and still know today. This proves that the truth of the flood that destroyed the original creation was hidden from them, while they knew about Noah's flood. What was it that the scoffers were ignorant of unless it was the destruction of the social system before Adam? This is the doctrin of which men are still ignorant of, which they call "the gap theory." Peter said that the scoffers were willingly ignorant of this truth showing that it is a clear doctrin of Scripture if men would stop being ignorant of it. There are many Scriptures that make this doctrin clear; so "If any man wants to be ignorant, let him be ignorant," as Paul expressed in (1 Cor. 14:38). Peter said these scoffers of the last days, the days we are in now, since Noah, would be ignorant of the fact that the heavens were of old; that the social system ruled by Lucifer on the old Earth perished by water; that the heavens and the Earth since the six days of restoration are kept in store to be purified again- the next time by fire; that the Lord is not slack concerning His promises of final restoration of the earth to its third perfect state; and that God was longsuffering to all men, not willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance. In Isa. 14:12-14 we have statements which cannot possibly of an earthly King. The passage is universally refering to the fall of Satan. We can quote it and note the facts. "How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which dist weaken the nations! For thou art hast said in thine heart, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE above the stars of God: I WILL sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I WILL ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL BE like the most High," Now note the following facts this passage proves of Satan: 1. That his name is Lucifer. 2. That he was a son of the morning, and therefore, no earthly man. 3. That he fell from Heaven. This could never be spoken of a man. Satan is the only person in all Scripture who is spoken of as falling from Heaven (Luke 10:18). 4. That he was cut down to the ground in his fall. 5. That he weakened the nations on Earth. 6. That he was exalted in his heart. 7. That he invaded hHeaven where God rules. 8. That he was a KING, for he had a Throne and SUBJECTS over whom he ruled. 9. That he wanted to exalt his kingdom above the clouds, stars, and into Heaven itself to dethrone God. 10. That he wanted to be worshiped in the congregation of God (Ps. 72:2; 82:1; Isa. 6:1). 11. That he led a rebellion against God but was defeated. 12. That his kingdom was on Earth, or he never could have tried to ascend above the clouds, stars, and into Heaven. When a kingdom is located under the clouds it has to be on the Earth. 13. That the ground, clouds, stars, and Heaven were already created. 14. That it had to be before Adam, for this was not the position of Lucifer when he was in Adam's Eden. Adam had dominion at that time. Lucifer had no kingdom on the Earth at the time of Adam and he has not had one since in the sense of a visible personal rule on Earth. He has only ruled through others since Adam's day; so this must refer to a time before Adam. 15. That he was not in Heaven when he rebelled, else he could not have desired to ascend into Heaven. He was under the stars, or he could not have desired to be exalted above the stars. He was under the clouds, or he could not have desired to ascend above them. 16. That God's throne is located in the north part of the universe (Psalms 75:6-7). Thus, this passage proves the location of Satan's original kingdom and the time of his fall. It was located on Earth, and his fall was before Adam, for he was all ready a fallen creature when he entered Adam' Eden. In Coll. 1:15-18 we read of Christ creating thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers in Heaven and on Earth. They were located somewhere in the heavens and on the Earth. Lucifer was given a kingdom here on Earth, as proved by the passages cited above. His own subjects were earthly creatures of various kinds which were destroyed when the flood of Gen. 1:2 came upon the Earth. God created the Earth to be inhabited by earthly creatures (Isa. 45:18). They are called "nations" in the above passages. The demons who are now Satans emissaries could well be the spirits of the pre-Adamites. At any rate they are not part of the creation at the time of Adam. Thus Isaiah teaches the the Earth was inhabited before Adam and was ruled by Lucifer, whos' kingdom was overthrown when he rebelled. There is so, so much more found in Scripture regarding this doctrin, many dozens of Scriptures support this. If this is false teaching, it amuses me that no one comes up with nothing more than Noah's flood, which occured much later, did not compleatly destroy the Earth, shake mountains, turn them upside down, turned off the stars and the sun so that there was no light. God had already created the Heavens, they were in existence as well as the Earth only their lights were withheld from shining on the Earth thus causing darkness Gen. 1:2. There was no darkness during Noah's flood? There were men and animals on the earth before Noah's flood, and Noah and his family and the animals survived the flood and were on the Eart after it? That the Earth ONLY was (became) without form and void (Hebrew tohu vabobu, litterally wast and ruin or desolate and empty), as in Gen. 1:2. That there were mountains of Earth that were shaken and turned upside down by an earthquake so severe, which no doubt caused the remains of animals to be deposited in the very depths of the Earth beneath many layers of solid rock, such as are now been found. Noah's flood never buried animals hundreds of meters beneath solid rock. Many other scriptures apart from those above can be presented to prove the doctrin of a pre-Adamite world. To try and put this in a nutshell, God created the heavens first, then the Earth, all in the beginning or in the dateless past (Gen. 1:1; Job 38:4-7). This doctrin is too simple for most men to understand, so they reject it. Now, 2 Peter 3:5-7 expresses this clearly in plain human language, "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing (emerging) out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world THAT THEN WAS, being overflowed with water, PERISHED: But the heavens and the Earth, WHICH ARE NOW, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." This is where people become confused and say the world "that then was," was the world before Noah's flood, but this cannot be because: If the world that THAT THEN WAS" is that between Adam and the flood of Noah, then God created The heavens and the Earth WHICH ARE NOW" since the flood of Noah. Noah and his family lived prior to his flood and after it. The world "THAT THEN WAS PERISHED" and everything in it also perished. What change could Noah's flood make to the heavens? None, for floods on Earth can never cover the heavens. The earth, vegetation, the heavens, all remained the same after Noah's flood. Peter, in (2 Peter 3:3-7) taught that scoffers were totally ignorant of the flood that destroyed the social system and the earth "that then was" (lucifers flood). These scoffers all knew of Noah's flood and still know today. This proves that the truth of the flood that destroyed the original creation was hidden from them, while they knew about Noah's flood. What was it that the scoffers were ignorant of unless it was the destruction of the social system before Adam? This is the doctrin of which men are still ignorant of, which they call "the gap theory." Peter said that the scoffers were willingly ignorant of this truth showing that it is a clear doctrin of Scripture if men would stop being ignorant of it. There are many Scriptures that make this doctrin clear; so "If any man wants to be ignorant, let him be ignorant," as Paul expressed in (1 Cor. 14:38). All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Just as God told Adam and Eve to do when He restored the Earth to a habitable state and He created them, Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”

I have a problem with my church, Im not sure whether Im overreacting or not. We started awana club recently and I was really excited to be a cubbies leader. I still am. But our youth pastor and his wife have been allowing worldliness into the ministry. For example they had a superhero themed night last week where they dressed as super heroes, and all the games were superhero themed, and all the food. It was so over the top. I saw this on Facebook and was thinking "where is the Gospel?". And coming up they are doing a Disney Frozen night and a football team night where you wear your favorite team gear. I feel like our church is trying to lure kids in by trying to fit in with the world. And anyone who says anything negative gets made fun of behind their backs. I've seen this before. Several families have left our church because of our youth pastor's immaturity. And he has been confronted several times. I think we are changing churches. But Im not sure what else to do. I feel like I need to stay in awana this year because they might not be able to find a replacement for me, and I really care about these kids. Should I confront the youth pastor and his wife and just say I don't think we should be mixing wordliness with ministry? Am I overreacting? There are way way more examples. During youth camp last summer the youth pastor went out for a drink for lunch and then came back to teach camp some more and he boasted about this on Facebook. He also takes selfies of himself because hes getting into shape. How can a youth pastor be so worldly? I haven't been a Christian for very long so I don't know how else they should be. I understand they should be able to relate to the kids etc. But it seems like he wants to be their buddy too much. I don't want to just gossip about him, but I don't know how to voice my concern without seeming like a gossip. What should I do? How can we help him?

2 people on the same day asked me about microchips inserted in their pets in case they get lost so they can track their location. seems like this is a prelude to the possible mark of the beast. how do I prevent my own pet from getting chipped? she needs to get neutered by a vet. and why has the Lord brought this to my attention? Anyone experience anything similar- or have friends or family that have gone thru this? do pets that get chipped still go to heaven?

Texas is a might huge place for sure. I can't imagine that within it there are no good bodies of Christ to attend and to fellowship and worship and learn. There must be I would think hundreds if not a few thousand. Some of it doesn't sound so bad. Dress up in your favorite team's gear? I mean, that's pretty harmless and fun. But there's such a thing as too far and too much, and it sounds like he's probably crossed the line. The real problem is that it sounds like he's just trying to get people to show up. If people are there and having a good time, he feels like he's done his job. But youth ministry today has become a joke. Kids are going off to college utterly unprepared and falling away from the faith in droves because they aren't prepared to have their faith challenged. They don't know why they believe what they believe. Sometimes they don't even believe anything, having just shown up to church for years because their parents made them. The only truly effective youth ministries have a strong focus on apologetics and creation science. They have to, or liberal, atheist college professors will shred their paper-thin "faith" within the first semester.

The Law of Moses was given to exhibit the utter futility of man's attempt to live righteously or to redeem himself. It was also to reveal to man his utter depravity. Most people forget this one. Or they lie to themselves. We like to think of ourselves as free moral agents with a miniature angel of our self on one shoulder and a miniature devil of our self on the other. We being the free moral agent between the two trying to choose what to do in a given situation or temptation. Actually we are only the miniature devil by nature. We have occasional tendencies to be good when it pleases or suits us. Or if we can benefit from it somehow. But the real change in us is when we believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit takes up residence in us. Now we still have every opportunity to choose the old devil nature. But we have for the first time in our lives the opportunity to choose actual good.

I also find certain ones who claim sexual harassment (especially in Hollywood types) who were grateful for the opportunity to cut in line / take a short cut through the casting couch or nude scene in a movie. They took full advantage of it. Keeping the vile thing going. Keeping it alive to victimize other men and women. Only to one day jump on the band wagon to pay back the individuals that did this to them. Long after the victims benefited from the practice. Um. If a fire fighter did the same thing, we'd jail them for arson.

I know there are real predatory beasts out there. I was the teenage victim of a homosexual one. I have had to deal with men who tried to come onto my wife... most of them are still breathing. Unfortunately. So I am not victimizing the victims in this thread. But I am saying there are several contributing factors to the pervasive frequency of it all (and it will continue to get worse, unless we all change). For all of us either tolerate or participate in the problem. Bring back chivalry and etiquette and propriety and accountability.

Where I live, it is called seeker friendly. You see, most of those who attend are in the world, so they act like to world to get them to even enter a church. This draws them in so they can inject a little of scripture here and there, trying to get them to take in what they are being taught. This group believes that they have to spoon feed the people a little at a time or they will just spit out what they are giving them. TO me, that is not trusting in the power and working of the Holy Spirit to do His job. Does it work? Probably for a few, but for the most part, I doubt it. I follow after Romans 12:1-2 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For the most part, many do not follow verse 2, but are more then happy to show how they follow verse 1. From their lack of faith, they allow the world in as they do not believe fully in scripture. Cherry picking scripture is not something new. You can see it everywhere, and now, even in the churches that were designed to bring people from the world to God. Now, it bring the world to God.

Hi bornagain2011, I'm not a Pastor or qualified to give you spiritual advice, but I'd pray and ask the Lord what He would have you to do. With that said, and your description of what is going on, I'd say the world has entered your church, replacing Jesus and the Gospel of Christ with worldly and carnal entertainment (itching ears). I hesitate to offer any advice other than what the Bible says in Ephesians 6: 10 - 17, to put on the whole armor of God. If you'll read and notice in these verses, there's no protection for you back, we are to face and 'stand' in the face of adversity. I assume you have a born again qualified Godly Senior Pastor, clergy and deacons in your church? Your church / denomination is not the first to experience real or perceived apostasy, its become an epidemic of Biblical proportions in this day. Again, take it to the Lord in prayer and dig into His Word for answers. He will surely direct thy path. God Bless You.

You might ask them if they had ever repented and asked God to forgive them, and if they had surrendered to Jesus as Lord of their lives. Many pastors are searching for God as well.

Yes, we need to focus on Jesus. Walking on the water to him, we must look at the obstacles in our path. We must have faith and knowing where each step will be. We must look at the water, and have faith that we won't drown. Is there a wave coming from the side? Is the Jesus you are following a wolf dressed as a sheep? A poor metaphor, but I work with it. These are the reasons people fall away. They're not vigilant. They follow the herd and never question the shepherd out of fear. Everyone hates being deceived and some would rather not admit it, fearing losing security and dignity. Being a follower of Christ, we must question everything. Christianity is not easy and it's not meant to be. If you want to go to church once a week and feel nice and comfortable and spiritual. Then take heed. "ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake". Sadly, most would rather keep quiet, to appease others feelings. I would rather rebuke someones emotions, that they make keep their eternal soul. Beyond what our eyes see, the world is infested with evil spirits. The closer you come to Christ, the harder they work to deceive you. The less Christians there are, the more demons are available to destroy you. How few true Christians are left today? Jesus told us what will happen. But people simply can't acknowledge it. Times WILL be hard. We WILL have to endure. Some WILL be deceived. Narrow is the way and at this point, the way is a tightrope across a cliff. "For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror" Apply this same principal to the world you live in. You skip along to church, sing beautiful songs, listen to beautiful sermons. Meanwhile your spirit is trapped in the hands of evil. Judge everything from within and from without. Futile to say even that, considering the obliviousness of sin in the world. THESE ARE THE END TIMES! Someone mentioned that we can be "too Holy". There's no such thing! No matter how much you try to be Holy, it will never be enough to please God. This is the exact attitude the leads to deception. A perfect example of slowly turning the heat up. Let this little thing go, let that go, and you'll be dead before you know it.

Instead of wiping all your cookies, be selective with what you delete. Unless you have your usernames and passwords in a secure place or you have a memory of an elephant, if you delete cookies from your bank, credit-card companies, etc., you will be going through a lot of hassle getting into your accounts. And yet our truly WONDERFUL counselor still loves and keeps us. Yahweh has such patience! The 'church' that thinks it is holy is as you indicate, is quite nicely boiled already. Yet the Lord God still calls and some few manage to disentangle themselves from the mass corruption of the institutions. It is a real witness to the long-suffering of our Lord Yeshua. He just does not give up on us in our foolish sheep-like activities. And by the foolishness of preaching, still many are saved. He does not WANT any of us to perish. He will hold a feast for His people and boiled-frog is not on the menu!

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
