  1. Hebrews 5:14 (NLT) Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. Hebrews 5:14 (NASB) But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. As we read in scripture this learning of right and wrong, good or evil, is a thing that needs to be practiced and learned. If we do not learn it as the thing that needs to be learned, we don’t know, or can not tell, right from wrong according to scripture. For according to scripture, distinguishing between the two does not come naturally, our minds and intellect can not distinguish between the definition of good and evil, right and wrong. It does, as we are told in scripture, take training and practice to have our senses trained to discern good and evil. This is the seeing or understanding of right and wrong from God’s eye sight, by His definition. Which is seeing right and wrong from their eternal ground, that which good and evil are in themselves. So this training we have been offered, if we are willing, is to be a learning and growing with a clearer and clearer understanding of right and wrong. As with all God’s training that would become life in the believer, it takes a commitment and a willingness to be taught. For as with all training, to be a good student and learn that which is being taught, it takes the acknowledgement that one does not know the thing which they are being taught. Therefore it takes an acknowledgment that we don’t know, we don’t see, we don’t understand, that which is right from wrong, good or evil. To see and acknowledge that we need this training, that we might learn to distinguish between right and wrong is the first step toward this learning. This humility of heart, is necessary, if this training would be learned in the heart. For it has to be entered into voluntarily for God will not force this training on us. To enter into this school of Christ is a choice. This is where one’s personal, one and one relationship with Christ grows, for to the degree of learning will be the degree of growth. There is no substitute for this relationship, for this is the cause of Christ being seen in a believer, it is their witness to all that would have eyes to see. For God has promised in scripture, those that are of God, will hear His voice. This hearing of His voice is the instruction of right and wrong. As with all growth it comes only through God Himself. For the hand of God to each individual believer is different but the goal is the same. That the believer would be able to distinguish between right and wrong. For right and wrong are that which God can bless and that which He can not bless. For God who is far more willing to bless than we can possibly imagine has but one requirement. You must do that which is right to get blessed. For righteousness He can bless, unrighteousness He can not. For having our senses trained to discern right and wrong is a hallmark of our walks with God. For until we have our senses trained to discern right from wrong we will be doing what is right in our own eyes. Or as scripture calls it a establishing a righteousness of one’s own. For God is the ever teaching one, let us be the ever learning one’s. Blessings Much love in Christ, Not me

  2. Heb 2:14 NKJV Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, Heb 2:15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. Jesus conquered death which had been in the power of satan. Therefore we are no longer intimidated by it but look forward to being eternally with Jesus. We are set free from the power of satan in every way. He has no hold over us. We have been ransomed by Christ's blood. And the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us! Rom 8:11 NKJV But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

  3. Hi watchman, The resurrection means, (to me) that those who died, (outside of the Body of Christ and the OT saints) will either be raised to life or to condemnation. `...all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth - those have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.` (John 5: 28 & 29) The Old Testament saints who are in the General Assembly (Heb. 12: 23) will have new bodies and go to the city they were promised, while the Body of Christ will be in the third heaven with Christ on His own throne, as promised. Note these two groups are NOT IN THE GRAVES, but in the general Assembly in heaven. I personally am not looking to die and be resurrected but looking to the Lord, for a new body, like His, immortal and incorruptible. (1 Cor. 15: 53 & 54) That is the blessed hope I am looking for. 4. Brother, the enemy of our souls has fed that lie to many of God's children, ...truth is, if we had committed the unpardonable sin Paul tells we would have been given over to what is called a reprobate mind Rom 1:28, ...literally if we had committed the unpardonable sin that means we wouldn't even be worried if we had or hadn't, ...if anyone is worried they have committed the unpardonable sin is the very proof they haven't! 5. Diaste, As I see it, believers are here in the entire tribulation. In Rev 16 Jesus says He is coming like a thief (hasn't come yet) on the very brink of Armageddon! The wrath we are not appointed to is that of the judgment.

  8. I'm in a relationship with a man for many years who is an atheist. I am new in my Christian faith. I am torn about this and I've been praying about this, but your help would really be appreciated too, since I'm new in it all. I know they are parts in the Bible that says couples should not be Unequally joked. Does that mean we should break up? I don't want that. I want to do what the God wants me to do, but what is that? I also know there are parts that says to love one another unconditionally. So, I am supposed to pray for him to come to Jesus eventually too? I am confused what should we do? Should I stay with him no matter what? We truly love each other and have a nice relationship. It is just that this huge difference in what we believe in is a huge burden to me. We used to be on the same boat about that, but now we are not. I've changed, and he didn't. Faith is the most important part of my life now. I do not get the support from him on that at all. He doesn't want to listen to me when I mention Bible or anything related with faith. He makes fun of it in a mean way, so I change the subject because it hurts me when he is like that. It feels then like we are under completely different spirits. So, faith has become a taboo as I can't find another way to deal with it. I am enduring this, because he has a right to think what he wants, I can't convert him. I have no clue what do to about this situation. Any advice please?

  9. PARASHOT: “Tazriah” (she bears seed) and “Metsora” (infected ones). Lev 12:1-13:59 Lev 14:1-15:33 Prophets: 2 Kings 4:42-5:19 Brit HaDashah: Luke 17:11-17 This week we have a double Torah portion; “Tazriah” which talks about when a woman gives childbirth, and “Metsora” which talks about “Tzara-at” which most Bibles interpret as “leprosy” but in actuality, the word "Leprosy"(Tzara-at) covers ALL skin afflictions and diseases, including the dreaded disease called leprosy, medically known as “Hanson’s disease. Go to google “images” and see it, but be sure you don’t eat anything beforehand, it is quite horrible. Leviticus Chapter 12 covers childbirth, and YHVH deems “unclean” a woman after giving birth, and she has to stay put in her tent, 7 days plus 33 days. Altogether, “40” days, “40” is the number for testings’ and trials. Why we might wonder, should a woman be rendered “Tamei” or “Unclean” because of giving birth? Only YHVH has a pure and true answer. It isn’t that she has sinned by giving birth, on the contrary, she has given life! Some rabbinical Midrashim (commentaries) state that there is both “death” and “life” during childhood. “Life” is the new baby, yet “death” because the woman loses fluids (blood) which symbolizes life. Not that the woman actually dies, but the “lost blood” however much or little, still symbolizes life. The child is in the womb for 9 months, this is a protected area, a world in itself. Then the child comes out into the world, a new world contrary to where it was. It has life both inside the womb and outside the womb, yet the child comes forth with the sin nature, and the sin nature brings death. For a female child, the purification time is longer, 2 weeks plus 66 days, altogether, “80” days, the number “8” is the number of “new beginning” If we remember when Yeshua was born, Miryam and Yosef brought two turtle doves to be sacrificed after she went through her ritual cleansing, Yosef brought Yeshua to be circumcised on the 8th day. On this 8th day, the mitzvah of “Brit Milah” (Circumcision) is performed in all males that are born. As we know, this was a sign of the covenant with Abraham. Some Jewish denominations still place a high priority on Brit Milah, yet how important is it really? Moshe stresses that which is most important, and that is the “circumcision of the heart” (Brit Milah b’lev). He does not, however, state that circumcision is no longer necessary nor important, only that the emphasis should be placed on the heart and not so much in the flesh. Removing the “foreskin” of the heart is surrendering our fleshly nature to Adonai, that we are to walk more in the spirit and less in the flesh. So, what is the importance today of circumcision? It does have health benefits, it keeps the male genital area cleaner and less prone to infections. Circumcision still joins us with the Abrahamic covenant, yet what joins us, even more, is our relationship with Messiah Yeshua. The brit which joins us with Yeshuah (Salvation) is our born-again experience with “Yeshua” (kind of play on words). Chapter 13 deals with two kinds of “Tzara-at” skin diseases (all kinds, both major and minor) and “mold & mildew on clothing. In ancient times, the person with a skin disease had to be isolated outside the camp until he or she got better, and was “healed” there were probably some ointments available then, probably primitive, the priests were not doctors, but acted as “judges” who would “judge” the person “healed” if the disease was temporary, today we have many kinds of skin ailments, Psoriasis, Eczema, simple rashes caused by allergies, scabies, ringworm, etc., were all based under the word “Tzara-at” when the person was well and the disease was no more, the person would offer a sacrifice and return to the camp. Here again, we see a form of “death” (cast out, rejected) and “rebirth” entering into the body of Israel once again after healing. But let’s take a look at this a step further. When talking about symbolism, one could symbolize the “Metsora” (the one infected) as “Yeshua” in the following manner; In the beginning of Chapter 13, “and YHVH spoke unto Moshe and Aaron saying; when a MAN shall have in the skin of his flesh…” Since every word in the Torah is put there for a purpose, the fact that the word “Adam” (man) is used is important. It could have been “Ish” or “Enosh” but it is “Adam”. This also has meaning. If we were to take the acronyms A.D.M (since that is how “Adam” is spelled in Hebrew) and apply a bit of meaning to the letters “Alef” “Dalet” and “Mem” we can see “Adam’ “David” and “Mashiach” two titles of “Mashiach” are “Mashiach HaAdam Sheni” (Messiah Yeshua, the Second Adam) and “Mashiach Ben David” (Messiah Yeshua, Son of David) Our Messiah accepted and brought upon himself all of our “leprosy” of sinfulness, which affects not only our exterior but also our inner being. He was nailed to the cross “outside” of the city, just as one afflicted with leprosy was cast outside of the city. Then he was made whole once again, arising on the third day. Isaiah 53 says that he bore our grief, carried our sorrows and was stricken and smitten of God, just as a leper is in the same condition, in a state of sorrow and smitten with a deadly disease that consumes the flesh. We remember that the Roman whips “ate up” the flesh of our Messiah, all for our sakes. In another way, the “Metsora” is US! We have been afflicted with “spiritual leprosy” being our “sinful nature” at birth. When the pure soul from Heaven is introduced into the human body, it becomes part of it and partakes of the sin nature. Both the body and the soul suffer, the body ages, contracts diseases, etc. and without the “born-again” experience, we are “cast outside” of the city, we are forbidden entrance into the Kingdom of God. When we become members of the family of God through Yeshua, He acts as the “priest” who “heals” us. In ancient times, the priest had to visit the leper to see if leprosy had left the body, “leprosy” being “any kind of skin disease. The priest had no power to heal, only to observe and pronounce “tahor” (clean) or declare “Tamei” (unclean). However, Yeshua HAS the power to heal, as Isaiah says, “By His stripes, we are healed” of the “Tza-arat Nefesh” (the leprosy of the soul). So, we are the “Metsorat” that are HEALED and integrated into the body of Messiah, and HIS Kingdom someday soon. This is an eternal promise! Clothing also had to be checked as well. God knew about the dangers of mold and mildew long before man found out. People had to carefully check the fabric of their clothing, the sewing together of the yard was called “woofs” and “warps” and if there was a red or green discoloration, it was “mold and mildew” (also called “tsara-at”) A person’s house could also be affected with “tsara-at” with mold and mildew, if it was, the walls had to be scraped and the affected stones removed and replaced. How does this affect us spiritually? There is a “spiritual leprosy” that is rebellion against YHVH, living in contrary to His Word, doing what is “right in our own eyes” disregarding the commandments as if they were “only for the past” claiming that “Now we are under grace” and not guided by the Torah. Grace and Torah always co-existed, and they still do! Abraham was saved by grace, and this was before the written Torah. Even though many commandments cannot be followed today, there are still many that CAN BE followed, let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater! If we were to analyze our spiritual lives and maturity honestly, how many of us would have to cry out “Tamei” (unclean) and go run and hide? Yet there is forgiveness and a new beginning in our Messiah Yeshua, who paid our sin price and penalty on Calvary’s cross once and forever. We can “come in the camp again” when we confess of sins before a Holy God, and accept His forgiveness, and accept his inner “healing”. Some rabbinical commentaries claim that “Tzara-at” came upon people’s skin, clothing, and houses because of ‘Leshon Hara” (evil tongue) because of spreading lies, slander, gossip, backbiting, backstabbing, etc. Take in account “Miriam” who was struck with “Tzara-at” when she spoke against Moshe! Yet Moshe interceded on her behalf, and she was healed. The same way Yeshua heals us when he goes on our behalf before the Father. Are we saying that skin diseases come from speaking evil and slander of others? We have no medical proof that this is correct, however, we serve a G-d of creation and he created our bodies and has the right to inflict illnesses upon the guilty parties whenever He wishes. Personally, I think that if he DID do EXACTLY THAT, then, we would ALL be covered with rashes and sores from time to time. We should be careful when speaking and only speak positive things about others, if another is in error, go to that person personally and confront the person in love, not talk about what he or she is doing wrong with others. No wonder we have only ONE mouth, yet two EARS. Listen carefully yet speak little. 2 KINGS 4:42-5:19 We read about “Naaman” the Syrian who was healed of his Tzara-at, whatever kind he had, He was healed, not because of anything he could pay Elisha, but what he did in OBEDIENCE and FAITH. He went and bathed in the River Jordan, when down 7 times, again, “7” is YHVH’s perfect number, it kind of symbolizes baptism in a way. When we came up the seventh time, he was healed of his disease. We also see that Gehazi, Elisha’s servant was stricken with “Tzara-at” because of his selfish motives and because he lied to his master. We can become clean inside when we obey God’s Word, and accept Yeshua as Savior and LORD, Yeshua is the “Living Water” and when we “bathe in Him” we become clean, our “Tamei” becomes “tahor” LUKE 17:11-17 Not the official Parashah reading, but this deals also with the healing of 10 who suffered from some sort of skin ailment, which made them “Tamei” and “outcasts”. Yeshua healed them all, only for the asking, YET only ONE returned to say “thanks”. Do we take our Salvation for granted? Do we think we deserve it? Remember that only through the grace of YHVH does he allow us into HIS family. Do we really live like “B’nei Malach?” (children of the King) or….do we succumb to the deceiver and lair of all times? Do we praise and thank Him for so great a gift such as YESHUAH (Salvation)? do we thank and praise YESHUA for YESHUAH? Something to think about. Shalom ....Ben Avraham

  10. You are not sure, ...did you read what I said, ...from the Bible, I gave the verse, here it is again: You shall kindle no fire throughout your living places upon the Sabbath day. Exo 35:3 What is so hard to understand about that? And the verse you quote just reinforces what it says, ...KEEP the Commandments!!! NO FIRES, ...it's a common fact, I hope you agree, ...the Children of Israel did not have electricity, so for them FIRE was used to cook their meals and in oil lamps to illuminate their tents and later on their homes. This was a common practice until about 140 years ago when Edison "discovered"electricity and used it to produce FIRE in a filament that produced light to illuminate our homes, businesses, streets, everywhere, ...I think you get the point. So, anyone that today tries to live a religious life of works from the First or Old Covenant to try and please God is warned by the Holy Spirit writing through Paul the futility of their works: For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. Gal 3:10 Do you see that, it's the LAW, anyone trying to keep the works of the LAW must KEEP all of the works of the LAW! So then, if you turn on a light in your home during the Sabbath you have kindled a FIRE, that means YOU have broken the LAW, that means you have sinned, the LAW clearly states in the Book of Leviticus YOU must offer a sacrifice for YOUR sin, ...that means YOU must go to Jerusalem and offer a sacrifice in the Temple of God. What are you going to do??? Do you see how ridiculous it is to try and keep the WORKS of the LAW today, ...even more serious than that is anyone teaching people THEY must keep the WORKS of the LAW, ...here's what Jesus has to say about that: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Mat 23:15 For me personally it's a no brainer, ...I much rather live under the unconditional Second or New Covenant by FAITH Hab 2:4, My Salvation is not conditional, base on my religious works, but by faith in the Truth of the Word of God that Jesus did fulfill or complete the requirements of the First Covenant for me, ...I now live by faith in the Grace He has given me and when I sin I don't have to go to Jerusalem to offer a sacrifice in a non-existent Temple, all I have to do is talk to my Heavenly Father from my heart, confess my sin to Him and He is faithful and just to forgive me! Again, like I said, ...it's a no brainer!

  14. Many claim to believe in the return of our Lord Jesus but get upset if you indicate that it is going to be within our generation. Most want to believe in the return of the Lord but desperately desire it not to be in their lifetime. I on the other hand believe I am living in the most exciting time of man's history, the time of the return of our Lord. I know there are things that must occur according to scripture but as I look around me at the world today, I know that the signs are truly here. I am also excited for I know that more miracles and wonders will become more evident. I believe that the antichrist as well as the two witnesses are alive upon this earth at this time and all will become known in the fruition of time. I know that God has begun speaking to man once again and soon the whole world will know. I truly believe we are of the last generation that will walk apart from the Lord. My King is returning for He is the only solution left to man. I see our world in turmoil. I see darkness growing all around me. I see lies embraced as truth and truth denounced as lies. I see good being called evil and evil being called good. I hurt for the sorrow that must come but I hurt for the hurt already around me and pray that the Lord will come to bring so much to an end. I know we are at the verge of a great revival as the Lord prepares the way. We are truly in the most amazing time of man's history.

  15. Ephesians 6:11-13, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” When warnings go unheeded and when clear signs are ignored the results can at times be catastrophic. December 7, 1941 is a date that President Franklin Roosevelt said “will live in infamy.” The attack by the Japanese was a sudden one, but it should not have come as a complete surprise for there were many warnings and clear signs that the nation of Japan was about to become hostile toward our nation. A warning unheeded can lead to hard lessons and to tragedy. There is a battle being waged in our nation and in nations across the earth and it is clear to those with eyes to see. We are at war with an enemy that is of the spiritual realm so the senses that we use to see and understand within the physical and natural realms will not help us. Through repentance and baptism we can be armed with the in-dwelling spirit of God, and it is by his spirit that we can see and understand the warnings and the clear signs in the world around us. To see and hear with the spirit is a sword and a shield to go with the armor of righteousness. It is hard to defeat an enemy unseen or unheard, and while our enemy is of the spirit their plans and their devises are easily seen if we use the power within. Blindness and a deaf ear will lead to our being surprised when attacks come. The attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor was a sudden and unprovoked attack but it should not be deemed a "surprise" attack for there were warning signs that something was amiss. Most of our battles are small but small defeats still weaken and small victories give strength and power. We live in a time of confusion and unrest and the dark clouds gather so we need to use the power of spiritual sight.

  18. THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN Judas betrayed Jesus · “And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money.” Luke 22:4-5 · “Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that Jesus had been condemned, deeply regretted what he had done. He returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.” Mt27:3–4 Judas repented But that did not save him. Judas Iscariot stands as an example of a soul condemned to be in hell. Christ stated that he lost none that the Father gave Him “except the son of perdition” (John 17:12). And speaking of the one who would betray Him, Jesus said, “it would be better for that man if he had never been born” (Mattew26:24) Peter denied Jesus three times · Now Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Therefore they said to him, “You are not also one of His disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not!” One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of him whose ear Peter cut off, said, “Did I not see you in the garden with Him?” Peter then denied again; and immediately a rooster crowed. John18:25-27 Jesus forgave Peter · So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that Ilove You.” He said to him,“Feed My lambs.” John 21:15 Why could Peter be forgiven . . . yet Judas could not be forgiven? All sin is bad but there is one sin that is unforgivable. ---- What sin did Jesus speak out against the most? ---- Jesus spoke out against hypocrisy many more times than he did against any other sin. · Jesus replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Mark 7:6 · "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. Matthew 23:27 · But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Matthew 22:18 · "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Matthew 23:25 · …. you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. Matthew 23:29 · "Woe to you,. . . you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Matthew 23:13 Judas was a hypocrite · Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?“ Luke 22:48 Why is being a hypocrite unforgivable? A hypocrite is double minded. There is always more than one side to a hypocrite. A hypocrite can never be completely forgiven because there is always another side of them that isn’t included in their repentance. From time to time we are all hypocrites. · But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile believers, who were not circumcised. But afterward, when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn’t eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. As a result, other Jewish believers followed Peter’s hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. Galatians 2:11-13 Judas knowingly embraced hypocrisy when he betrayed Jesus with a kiss. Peter acted out of fear and his own weakness. One could be forgiven and the other cannot be forgiven. In either case hypocrisy is something that Jesus took pains to warn us against.

  21. John 6:40 & 44- And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Yeah, I pretty much was thinking of this time, can you show me the other days? Perhaps more trumpets etc. More announcements by the arch angel? My theory on the witnesses is that God has mot made it known to us. They are not said to be given new bodies at the point when life enters them again. This was true with all others raised to life previously. Being part of the resurrection means one must die, of course as they all did. All but these two are assumed to have died again. I think you are asking for answers that you don't have. Will they have new bodies like all who ARE called out of the graves?? I can assume so but when? Not shown in scripture, unless you know where. I don't think they will have to wait for 1,000 yrs. either. To sum it up, it is God who does things and He is not bound to go by our assumptions. He can operate outside of the things that are clearly laid out if He so pleases. Deu 29:29- The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Ps 131:1- LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don’t concern myself with matters too great or too awesome for me to grasp.

But the growth that would have happened if one or the other had chosen to give in. Maybe next time??? blessings, Much love in Christ, Not me

  23. Biblical references, ...too many to list, just read the Psalms of David. Joy is from the Holy Spirit and is internal, it controls, calms and soothes our soul, it gives us an inner peace no matter what the circumstances might be, ...good or bad. Happiness depends on our circumstances and can cause our soul to rejoice or be depressed. But the true joy of the Lord is our strength Nem 8:10, ...no matter what the circumstance may cause, ...rejoicing or depression. Lord bless

  24. Hi..., There are three categories of humans on this planet: believers that are walking by the Holy Spirit in integrity, believers that are walking in the flesh, their own carnal nature, ...and there are hypocrites, the first two are born again and saved and the last is not, they are just acting, ...which is what your post is pointing out. The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, ...from the lips of Jesus: Therefore I say to you, All kinds of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. Mat 12:31 Lord bless

  25. You are living in fornication and there won't be any fornicators in heaven. That mean you should repent and stop living with him as soon as possible. The conditions of your getting back together with him are that he be saved and then legally marry you. So you will be praying for him intensely that God convert him. Don't try to do this yourself but do let him know you still love him. You just can't live with him or have sex with him because he hates your God. Also pray that God send the person to you if He wants you to marry, whether it by that your friend should he be born again, or another man, or whether God wants you to remain single and serve Him. Psa 119:132 Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name. Psa 119:133 Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psa 119:134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I may keep Your precepts. Psa 119:135 Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes.

Seems like a lot of negativity on his side right now, because he may be feeling convicted. No, you can not convert him. You are God's example, and He will do the work. Praying for you. God bless. 28. I agree, we must look to the fruits. We must as the Lord says in verse 4 of Matt. 24, "...Take heed that no man deceive you." But at the same time, we must be careful that our own doctrinal grids don't cause us to miss the wonders of the Lord. The pharisees totally missed the very Son of God due to their own envy, pride and doctrinal grids. Jesus just didn't fit the Messiah as they thought he should be....

  29. We can see the signs of Matthew 24 beginning, but Jesus tells us that this generation will not pass until all these things take place, using the fig tree as an example (Matthew 24:32-35), including the coming of the Son of Man. As for the " miracles and wonders", be careful and test all things, remembering in verse 24 that "false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

  31. May both of you get to be all "happy and clappy" together soon. My own bride and I have now that I have consented to going to and even joining one of them there kind of churches. I like that; "Happy and Clappy"! It is a good description of the joy deeply felt in the emotion of the presence of the Holy Spirit at worship, sermon, and fellowship once not being resisted by me and my own stoic upbringing. I went from stoic unbeliever atheist, to chosen and frozen Baptist, to all work and no play lessons, until my own bride said she misses her Pentecostal leanings, and we found - were led to- a more happy - clappy worship house of our Lord Jesus. Now even I sometimes find myself raising my arms in praise of God during worship music. I even get a tear or two or more on occasion. Hurts my tough old crusty geezer look, but hey I just don't much care any more. I'm all Happy and I do get at least hand raising and toe tapping if not clappy. May God move the two of you to a place of corporate worship, and may each of you have the comfort of the Holy Spirit dwelling within.

  32. The issue is that you and this man already love each other and have, as you say, for years. I won't make light of that. I'm sure that hurts very badly when you two are stressed out over your new faith. You are "yoked" with this man already. That's why this is hard. The idea of a yoke is that of a wooden device placed over the necks of two cows, bulls, ox, or mules. It kept the two animals pulling something - a cart or plow - at the same place. If they put two animals not of equal strength in the yoke, then the stronger animal would pull harder and pulling the weaker animal along with it and ended up going in circles and not a straight line. In a sense here, you are the weaker one because your faith is new and his belief systems are staunch because he's had them for years. In another sense, he is the weaker one because he has no faith in Christ. Generally speaking, when Christians get into relationships with non-Christians, the non-Christian pulls the Christian hard in the wrong direction. Intentionally or not. That's generally what happens. I've seen it countless times. Maybe this man will be saved! That's what you should pray for. That's what I am praying for. In the mean time, in all honesty from my heart, you should separate from him and explain why. Don't allow any comforts in this relationship to override your spiritual growth.

  33. J Vernon McGee had valid reasons for lamenting the fact that “ The number one sin of the Church is not reading the Bible” The Book of Hebrews warns us to “rightly divide” the Word of God and prove ourselves to be good students of the Word, lest we become ashamed of ourselves. If one chooses to remain ignorant of the Bible ,it will be to the detriment of that person—- they will be subject to believe anything.

  34. Being not of this world does not have to do with DNA, it refers to the world-system. The Satanic world-system. It is very important if you are a Follower of Christ Jesus that you understand you are responsible for your own education when it comes to the Bible. Many Christians like to be spoon-fed in Church on Sundays, while they never even open their Bibles the rest of the week. It is so very easy to deceive those ones who do not seek and find the things they need to know, so as not to be deceived by the False teachers. Every Christian should be able to spot a false teacher. No one knows the day or the hour, so if someone tells you this is the date for the end of the world, you should not listen to them, even if it is your church preacher, I would run from that church as fast as I can. Christians have a great responsibility to be certain that they seek and find and study the word of God, so as not to be deceived. There are many false prophets and wolves in sheep's clothing in the church today... and many are being deceived. The best thing one can do is to make sure that they are worshiping in spirit and in truth; and Christians should become scholars of the Bible so as not to be deceived. Some will be deceived while others will not. Are you saved? M.

  37. Yes of course there is discretion, dissemination and discrimination, in creation by God- through God - for God. Plus the creation does not stop. It is to continue until at least all things will be created new and the old passed away. There have been higher and lower stations in Hades and Jacob's bossom and there will be higher and lower stations in the millennial kingdom and perhaps for all eternity to come even when all that has been has passed away and there shall be a new Heaven and a new earth. God has foreknown and predestined all that will be called to be with Jesus for eternity to come He has given each to Jesus and Jesus does not lose a one- but all are not known as being saved and have not from before creation itself. It is said the lowest will be highest and poorest will be richest, and the first will be last. There is discrimination in all of the ongoing creation- creation has not stopped. Victory is known, death is defeated, but the Lord Jesus has not returned for His bride and this earth and heaven has not passed away. There is much to come as there has been much passed on by already. I shall not want regardless, for my God has placed a banquet table before me in the presence of my enemies just as He did David the psalmist and King who suffered many a serious plight in the flesh of a corruptible body. Fortunately life created by God is NOT fair, if it were no one would be saved at all. It is by God's mercy and grace in discrimination that any are called to repent of sin against God and is counted as being acceptable in His sight, having been washed white as snow in the blood of Jesus. Yes there is discrimination in all of God's creation.

Well I don't know what we will do this year as we might be on the road, but if not there is Palm Sunday Sedar-Passover and Resurrection Day to be in remembrance of, and I suppose perhaps a small family gathering on Resurrection Sunday. As to racing after eggs, I tend to remember the humor of one Gene Scott and just chuckle a bit. I won't share here, but those few posting here who were entertained and perhaps enlightened by his commentaries about Easter will likely never forget.

  44. Huh? What greater miracle than the indwelling of God the Holy Spirit might one have? Like Jonah, Jesus; and He Jesus has left us a comforter and restrainer the Holy Spirit of God until He returns! Many are called specifically to their own salvation seems an awesome ongoing miracle to me. The miracle that dwells within all Saints in Christ the born again believer bond-servants restraining the evil one so that each may withstand the minions, the little antichrists, and Satan is awesome beyond all other miracles, as it evidences righteous merciful love from God. The result of His love being many being called out to their salvation and to eternal life with God, with each instructed to be doing all that they may do to the glory of God is bow down before God. Miracle worthy is it not? ..."the crowds were increasing, he began to say, 'This generation is an evil generation. It seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.' "

  46. There was a purpose in the miracles of Jesus. It was to give credibility to who he was and what he was saying. When Jesus told Nicodemus the famous "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son.....", the only reason Nicodemus had come to him was because of the signs, or miracles, that Jesus performed. Nicodemus said so. The gospels assert in many places that this is why many people believed Jesus. Even with the Old Testament prophets like Elijah and Elisha and even with Moses, the revelation of what God is doing and saying via those men were given proof of validity. Today, we have the word of God. Miraculous in preservation in itself. There still are miracles, but our source of the evidence that God is who he says he is - well, it's God's word. Even if God parted the skies and appeared and said, "It's Me! Do what I say!", you would have millions of people turn away and rebel. Just like many, many people saw Jesus perform miracles and scorn him, ridicule him, and eventually kill him.

  47. Missionaries to India and other unchurched areas of the world see astounding miracles like those in the Bible. They are as overwhelmed and humbled by what God is doing as the native people are, and many, often thousands are saved. The pastors know they had very little to do with it all and it was God alone. When our pastor was involved, thousands came forward for prayer. They couldn't possibly minister to all of them so he just prayed through a translator "Holy Father, meet their needs in Jesus Name."

  49. I don't understand. Citizenship in Heaven/being transformed to be able to enter Heaven is the chief reason Jesus descended, died, rose. I please the Father because I'm covered in the blood of Christ, I'm adopted, beloved, translated, and am changing (a bit now, much more at the Rapture). I don't need to "do" things to "be pleasing to God". Born agains please God, others risk eternal perishing.

  50. Heaven is real, its a created place, God created Heaven. Heaven is where God lives now, until He comes to the Earth to be with mankind forever. Isaiah 45:18, For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: He even has an army which follows Him; Revelation 19:14, And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Heaven is in the Northern part of the universe, for Lucifer, now Satan said; Isiah 14: 12, How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,7 son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! V. 13, For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH: Heaven is so far away it has not been found or seen by man from the earth even by our most powerful telescopes, even Hubble? Many Scriptures teach that Heaven is inhabited. (1 Kings 22:19; 2 Chron. 18:18; Matt.18:10; 22:30; 24:36; Rev. 12:12; 13:6). Armies and hosts of Heaven are mentioned an number of times as seen in these passages and in Dan. 4:35; Luke 2:13; Rev. 19:14. These inhabitants are listed in part as common angels, archangels, seraphim, cherubim and other spirit beings. Heavenly bodies are mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:48-49. Rejoicing in Heaven is referred to by the inhabitants in Heaven (Ps. 96:11; 148:1, 4; Isa.44:23; Rev. 12:12). 8. Paul speaks of "the invisible things" in Heaven as being like the visible things on Earth; that is the things in Heaven are just like the things on Earth. (Rom. 1:20). The word "things" is used in many passages in referring to realities in Heaven. (Phil. 2:10; Col 1:16-20; Heb. 8:12; 9:23). We know from Scripture that in Heaven there are Cities (Rev.21), mansions (John 14:1-3), trees, rivers (Rev.22:1-3), fountains of water (Rev. 7:17), food (Ex.16:4; Ps.78:25: 105:40; John 6:31-51: Luke 22:16, 18, 30; Rev. 2:7, 17: 19:1-10; 22:1-3). Animals are mentioned as being in Heaven in these following Scriptures; (2 Kings 2:11-12; 6:13-17; Zech. 1:8-11: 6:1-8; Rev. 19:11-14, 21: Rom. 1:20). All these things are mentioned, furniture, tongs (Isa.6:6), fire and coals (Isa. 6:6; Rev.8:5) censer and incense (Rev. 8:4-6), smoke (Rev. 8:4; 15:8), musical instruments (Rev. 5:8; 14:1-5; 15:2-4), clothes (Dan. 7:9; Rev. 1:13; 6:9-11), stones (Rev. 2:17), books (Rev. 3:5; 5:1-7; 10:1-11; 20:11-15), Also mentioned in Scripture are, vials or bowls, crowns, thunderings, lightnings, clouds, lamps, a sea of glass, singing, worship, palm trees, temples, silence, so there must also be noise at other times, trumpets, hail, mountains, keys and chains, measuring sticks, olive trees, the ark of the testament, doors, posts, girdles, pearls, diamonds and other precious stones, walls, gates, gold in abundance, streets, fruits, banquets, and many other inumerable things. If the invisible things in the heavenlies are clearly seen by the things on Earth, as Paul taught in Rom. 1:20, then we have a right to believe that there are in Heaven the same kind of things that we have on Earth. We have no right to make an exception of any good thing that God created and intended for man to have before the fall. Revelation 12:12, Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, (PLURAL) and ye that dwell in them (PLURAL). Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. After 20 years of studying the Scriptures trying to disprove them, and failing to do so, I found these Scriptures which teach that there is life out there in the heavens. Colossians 1:16, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (THRONES, DOMINIONS, PRINCIPALITIES. He created them all TO BE INHABITED) .Isaiah 45:18, For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited:
