  1. Whatever is true think on these things. If we stop our minds from thinking of things that have a false value and turn to the truth and instead think on the truth we will be well off. How many times we think wrong things ? What good does it do for us. We may think of the wrong someone did. Instead think of that person as someone who needs forgiveness. Instead of feeling bad of some need remember the Lord will give us all things. What we think effects us. Especially think on the Lord Jesus. Keep your mind on him.

  2. Yes, I agree that this is a good topic. Thanks Michael37. I also see that our service to God (for example, volunteer work; hospitality) is a privilege given by God to help us learn and grow - and given with a whole heart and intention to serve the Lord with all faithfulness and love toward Him and the one/s being served - as true worship.

  4. A friend posted this today: Sometimes it's hard to think of our land as "sitting in darkness." I see darkness when I travel to Southeast Asia and the land is filled with idols, false religion and superstition. But in America, we mask our darkness behind our materialism, our entertainment, and our isolated living situations. But behind the masks, trouble is brewing. Consider: 1 out of every 6 Americans take antidepressant drugs 17% of high school students have seriously considered suicide and 8% have had a failed attempt at suicide in the past 12 months. More people will die of drug overdoses (mostly opioids) this year than died in the entire Vietnam War As many as half of all marriages will end up in divorce. 4 out of 5 full-time workers live paycheck to paycheck and 56% of Americans say they are over their heads in debt. 20 million Americans are addicted to drugs or alcohol, and 30 million Americans have an eating disorder. Pagan, extreme, animalistic internet porn is now the leading way in which young people are introduced to sex -- often before reaching puberty. These are more than just shocking statistics. They refer to real people and real families that are suffering real pain. They reveal to us that multitudes in our land are sitting in darkness. Despite these realities, massive numbers of people in our country have been persuaded the answer to their problems has nothing to do with God, Jesus, or the Christian church. Many are convinced we are the source of their problems. And yet, to those sitting in darkness, a great light appeared. What was that light? It was the coming of Jesus Christ! He is the one to save us from our sins. He is the one who can heal all our diseases. He alone deals with our root problem of being alienated from God Himself; He alone can reconcile us to the Source of life -- our Creator God. But the solution is more than just Jesus. While HE is the answer, WE are the agents through whom the answer is delivered. Often, the first step in being that agent is simply showing we care. If there is someone in your neighborhood suffering from one of the problems mentioned above (and I can almost guarantee there is), it may be as simple as walking across the street, taking them a meal, letting them know you care, asking if there is any way you can help, offering to say a prayer for them, etc. It may mean inviting them over for dinner or asking a lonely person if he would like to watch the big game at your house. In a word, it begins by loving them. Love can open doors to lost souls. Love can get beneath the masks. True Christian love can change the world one soul at a time. Who do you know who needs to be loved? It may be inconvenient and costly, but will you love them? Will you do it today?

  5. GOD INSTITUTED THE DEATH PENALTY. We, as Christians should ask ourselves, Is the Death penalty lawful in this age? Do men have the right to change the Law's of God? Does God condone the Death Penalty. When God instituted human government by law after Noah's flood, He gave Noah certain laws by which to govern the human race, and man was then held responsible for self-government (Gen. 9:1-7). There are six very important laws which God gave Noah and his decendants. These Laws were: (1) "Be fruitful and multply, and replenish the earth" (Gen. 9:1, 7). (2) "Into thine hand are they [animals] delivered" (Gen. 9:2). (3) "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have i given you all things" (Gen. 9:4). (4) "The blood thereof shall ye not eat" (Gen. 9:4). (5) "WHOSOEVER SHEDDETH MAN'S BLOOD, BY MAN SHALL HIS BLOOD BY SHED: for in the image of God made he him" (Gen. 9:5-6). And last but not least; (6) "I have established my covenant with you . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . FOR PERPETUAL GENERATIONS . . . the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the "EVERLASTING COVENANT" between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth" (Gen. 9:8-17). These few laws have been the basis of all laws of God and man in every age since the flood of Noah. It was at this time God constituted capital punishment, and God has never revoked this particular law, "Whosoever sheddeth man's blood, BY MAN shall HIS BLOOD BE SHED (Gen. 9:5-6)." This law will continue as an eternal law, and as is revealed in (Isiah 11:4-9; 65:20-25) it will be in force even during the Millennium. That this law will be in force during the Millennium is plainly reaffirmed in (Rom. 13:1-6), in which the apostle Paul taught that even in this age of grace, law-enforcement officers are ordained of God, and that they are His ministers to bear "not the sword in vain" but that they are supposed to "execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." It is totally necessary for human governments to punish criminals according to the crimes committed. Human governments are part of the moral government of God. That God has instituted human governments to help Him secure this end is not only clear in Gen. 9 and Rom. 13, but also in many other passages (Dan. 2:21; 4:17-25; 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:13-14). All administrators of human government, when they rule contrary to the law of God will be punished in due time by God for mismanagement of their authority. God never sanctions selfish and wicked administration of authority, and if such continues long it will be overthrown. Men are under obligation to obey human government when, and as long as the requirements are not inconsistent with the moral law's of God. Christians must always obey "every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the King, as supreem; or unto govenors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evil doers, and for the praise of them that do well. For such is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men" (1 Pet. 2:13-17). Many Christians argue that it is sinful to partake in politics, that it is contrary to the Bible because human government is maintained by force, and that force is contrary with the spirit of the gospel. These are false theories. Human government was instituted by God as shown above, and Christians are commanded in the New Testament to pay taxes and otherwise support government (Rom. 13:1-7; 1 Pet. 2:13-17). Some argue the commandment, "Thou shalt not kill" (Deut. 5:17), prevents government from administering capital punishment. The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" means exactly what it says, that men shall not kill any other human being; but, if man sheds another mans blood, in other words, if a man ignores Deut. 5:17, the everlasting covenant law, "whosoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed," comes into being. This same principle applies to mobs, insurrections, rebellions, and all wars that endanger the best good of being and of the universe. It is the right of government and all of its subjects, to use every possible means to suppress all rebellion and wars, which are merely crime turned loose on a massive scale. That war is necessary under certain circumstances is clear from the fact that moral law permits it and God has commanded it. Earthly governments are God's ministers to execute law upon the ungodly and to preserve moral law and government for the good of all, and they are under obligation to make war, if this is the only way to preserve the best public good for all. We know that selfish and unjust war is wholesale murder and the administrators of such wars will be punished by God in due time. God, in replenishing the human race after the flood of Noah instituted human government and capital punishment for serious crime involving murder. He has never changed this "everlasting covenant" and so, this is still God's will for men and human governments.

  6. I see you have been a member since 06, backontrack. You must have seen some of the vast amounts of threads dealing with this topic/subject. Not hard to find. My opinion, is it is not always a sin to kill, especially in self defense or protecting the helpless or innocent. I believe it would be a sin NOT to protect someone who was helpless against an evil killer. Though shalt not murder. A different action. Murder is sin. There will be many here agreeing, and some disagreeing, that any form of taking human life is sin. You may want to read how God has dealt in the past with the enemies of his people in scripture also.

  7. In this particular passage, this is an individual who was bound by the devil -- the devil is the strongman, within a person who needed to be cast out. This passage has nothing to do with the passage in Revelation. Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. Rev 20:2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, Rev 20:3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. The problem is that preterists do not believe a great many things that are VERY OBSERVABLE from the naked eye. 1st -- Since Preterists believe that we're in the Kingdom now, they are not looking toward a 1000-year reign of Jesus. They believe we're in the Kingdom now ... which is only partially true as you can OBSERVE with the human eye why this is absurd. 2nd -- the fact that the DEVIL is not bound and is running about like a roaring lion shows that we're not in the millennial kingdom. 3rd -- Preterists also cannot observe the simple reality that a STATE of ISRAEL exists today in fulfillment of prophecy. Just a simple understanding ... if God is in control -- and God allowed the State of Israel to be created .. then God has a plan. This simple observable fact -- should make every preterist re-examine his understanding of the last days. Perhaps, just looking around ... seeing what you can see with your very eyes ... that observable events in our generation makes easy to compare Scripture with Scripture. Preterists believe it was all fulfilled in 70 A.D. but Scripture clearly tells us -- Dan 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Just read the Scriptures in light of events taking place, and you'll find that the book is actually being unsealed completely in our generation! Both are pleasing to God when they glorify Him, as you rightly observe. 1Pe 4:10-11 (10) As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (11) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. 11. `Almighty God, you who are high and lofty that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy. All the myriads of angelic beings bow before you and give you honour. So it astounds us that such a royal, mighty one would have a meek and lowly heart. As supreme Lord of all you humbled yourself to become a man, to live and labour to uplift us so we might become heirs to life. Lord when we consider your sovereign Majesty heralded by holy hierarchies, we cannot fathom the love that you displayed with your `meek and lowly` heart, taking on the form of a servant to serve and suffer and be stricken for our guilt, be wounded our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities. And there on the cruel cross we know that you could have called a legion of angels, but you harnessed your great might and humbled yourself to death on the cross. May you work out your `meek & lowly` heart through us, Lord, so that we serve others, helping, encouraging and warning them of the things to come.`

  12. Yes God wants us to be holy and righteous. He has done that for us legally, but He also has changed our hearts so that we also want to reflect the life of Jesus. We are being changed from glory to glory as we gaze at Jesus in the word. 2Co 3:18 ESV But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. But even Paul said he had not attained perfection but he pressed on to the high calling of Jesus. We will never be perfect as He is until we get to heaven. As soon as we think we have attained perfection we become self righteous. We can't see our own faults but everyone else can. That is why David prayed: Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. It is solely because of the Spirit of Christ dwelling in us that we are worthy of heaven. Our salvation is a gift because we can't do it in our own strength or righteousness. That is grace. We have this Treasure in earthen vessels. We are made of clay and our only claim to perfection is Christ in us. 1Co 1:28 ESV God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 1Co 1:29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 1Co 1:30 And because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 1Co 1:31 so that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."

  13. Listen ... I believe there's a great misconception going on. First, there is a repentance unto salvation ... whereby one turns toward God for salvation. Do you remember the day you got saved ... for me, it was a unforgettable day. Now, if you want to live in a consistent state of revival ... you'll live in a lifestyle of repentance ... not for salvation, but rather to stay in a place of refreshing, joy, and love. There is a difference.

  14. Hi Michael, What a great subject - to worship the Lord. And this can be done anywhere, anytime. Music can be a part but of itself it is not worship. Rather it is our heart attitude and voiced honour of our great saviour and Lord - who He is, His character, His great purposes, & what He has accomplished. I think of Adoration, Exaltation, Celebration and Declaration as aspects of our worship. Marilyn.

  15. What is in the name I AM? When Moshe (Moses) left Egypt and headed for the land of Madian, his new life started. I guess we can separate the life of Moses into three parts. The first 40 years, the second 40 years, and the third 40 years. The first 40 he spent as a prince in Egypt. The second 40 he spent in Jethro’s “D.S.I.” (Desert Shepherd Institute) The last 40 he spent as leader and shepherd over Israel. He started the final 40 years when he was 80 years old. He was sent back to Egypt by Elohim. We all know the story, to set free God’s people. The order took place on Har Sinai, (Mt. Sinai). God appeared to Moshe in a burning bush. He received the orders, now, the question is asked; “Who do I say is sending me?’ I mean, it makes sense to want to know the name of the god who is sending the said redeemer, right? But the answer was not what Moshe was asking. Instead, he got; “I AM that I AM, thus you shall say to B’nei Yisrael, I AM has sent me to you!” (Exodus 3:14) So, what is in that name one may ask if we can call it a name? Well, the Creator of all things is beyond naming, He is WHO HE IS, which goes beyond human understanding. In the Hebrew, the verse says; “EHYEH asher EHYEH” it is just translated into English as I AM. Perhaps that is the closest one can get to understanding it. “Ehyeh” comes from the Hebrew word “Havayah” which means “The essence of existence.” From this word “Havayah” we get three other words; “Hayah” (the past) “Hoveh” the present, and “Yiyah” (the future). All three words are a mixture of just three Hebrews letters, Yod (Y) Hey (H) and Vav (V). from these letters, the most infallible name, the holiest name of God is derived; YHVH. No one knows for sure how that name was originally pronounced, but out of respect, we say “Adonai” or “HaShem” (The Name). Yet it was altered in the English, to make the “Y” into a “J” and then add vowels, to get the present name Jehovah, which is used today in modern Bibles. In the Paleo-Hebrew, the name YHVH symbolized “Behold the hand, Behold the nail” which is a perfect illustration of Calvary, and what Yeshua did to pay for our sins. He received the nails in his hands to pay for our sins, from the past, present, and future. Just like He is “the essence of existence from the past, present, and future” He bore our sins in his body, for our sins from the past, present, and future. In Hebrew gematria, the name YHVH equals “26”. He bore our sins in the form of a man (Yeshua) which is symbolized by “6” and thus, an eternal covenant was made “2” with His “House” The God-man covenanted with humankind with his own blood so that we could all have a “new beginning” which is symbolized by the number “8”. Do you see the connection? “26’ 2+6=8, and “dam” (blood) is “dalet and Mem” 4 +40 = 44. 4+4=8. So, the next time you read the name I AM, in Exodus, think of the Creator who is beyond naming, who took human form and received the nails to pay our sin debt to give us all a “new beginning” through the “New-birth’ (John 3:3)

  16. (Worthy News) - Legislation reaffirming U.S. support for allies in the Middle East, including a measure to punish Americans who boycott Israel, fell victim on Tuesday to a domestic political dispute that has resulted in a partial federal government shutdown. The U.S. Senate voted 56 to 44, falling short of the 60 votes needed to advance the "Strengthening America's Security in the Middle East Act." Most Senate Democrats have vowed to block all legislation in the Senate until it votes on a measure to end the shutdown, criticizing President Donald Trump's fellow Republicans for backing his demand for US$5.7 billion (4.5 billion pounds) to build a barrier on the border with Mexico before reopening the government. 19. Well said Hazard, I just had a thought.......what if God had just left it at' thou shall not kill'. Ultimately we are not to kill but there must be a provision for our weak and sinful state. Hence the order from God "Whosoever sheddeth man's blood, BY MAN shall HIS BLOOD BE SHED (Gen. 9:5-6) ( ....this was a very rudimentary and simple order given before the Mosaic Laws and it might be argued that it is not part of the following covenant to never flood the earth again)... that aside..... If there is no law, there is no sin. If there is no consequence there is no reason to follow the law, particularly in the context of an unspiritual secular life.

  22. True enough. I remember not even being in middle school yet, and I went online looking for Garbage Pail Kids cards, as being a small child, I found vomit and urination funny. Thus, even though I sought GPK cards, I was introduced to internet porn. Like they say, it's only ever a few clicks away and you don't even have to be looking for it. More oft than not, as well, it tends to be strange; fetishes and taboo engagements are on the rise. The slippery slope warned about long ago is more evident now more than ever. Then I see these people giving their 4 year old children phones and tablets to waddle around with and I know that kid is going to have some serious issues as they get older. The suicide thing is true enough, too. I had a buddy in high school who got sent off to an institution. I only ever heard this through the grapevine, mind you, but I think the story was that he cut himself laying in the bathtub and his parents came home unexpectantly. He was on pills when he got back after... Just short of a year, I think? He seemed happier and he even got himself a girlfriend. I'd say he got lucky though, as many kids can't be saved before they bleed out. In general, even though society has always had it's issues, it seems to be escalating (or it HAS been), and rather quickly. Parents allow technology and the public school system to raise their kids, many kids go without one parent or even both, and then what they to have to look up to and admire are most often degenerates and reprobates. What is good is becoming evil, and what is evil is becoming good. Here in the western world, things are just as pagan and wicked as elsewhere, but it's covered in glitter to try and make it look pretty. It smiles at you, wishes you a swell day, and then kicks your dog. It looks attractive and attempts to appear good, but no amount of glitter can produce light in darkness.

  25. If one has knowledge of the nature of the mark the above statement is true. You and I, knowing the true reason for the mark, cannot accept it and swear allegiance to the beast in rebellion against our Father. Billions will not see the spiritual ramifications of the mark or the worship of the beast and his image. Islam finds the bible unreliable due to their idea of many changes, additions and subtractions from centuries of copying. What if they do not understand what the mark means in the spirit and only understand "that no man may buy or sell except he had the mark"? Thats rationing of resources and would make sense to people trying to eat and drink. Are we really condemning a vast group that may not have knowledge of the truth of the mark and the beast? I would bet many religious groups have no clue about this. Even the "christian" group try to escape it with their own falsehood of pretrib rapture leaving them unprepared for the testing. There is only one unforgiveable sin and its not taking the mark in them who have no knowledge. It would only be unforgivable for those with knowledge, you and I. Oh Lord, your mercy endures forever!

I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. 15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

  34. Unfortunately you have misquoted an oft misquoted verse. 1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain, 1Ti 6:7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. 1Ti 6:8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 1Ti 6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. Col 3:5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. The love of money is akin to coveting. It is a heart problem. The answer is thankfulness. When we acknowledge God as the source of all we have, that He has provided for us and we are grateful, we become contented. Our true wealth is the spiritual provisions IN CHRIST listed in Ephesians 1. Getting rid of money would accomplish nothing. It is like trying to prevent murder by getting rid of guns. If they don't have guns they will use a knife or poison or some other means. It is a heart problem.

  36. Actually what you believe, is not not why you remain saved. See, what you are saying, and believing, is that you are the one that keeps yourself saved, by doing something.........and that something is "confessing sin". So, if this is true, then The Cross is meaningless, the Blood Atonement is useless, and what matters, ONLY< is that you confess your sin, and by doing THAT, you are saying that God will keep you, as long as, and IF you continue to do it. So, you are basing your eternal life, and your eternal security on "confessing sin", instead of basing it ONLY on the Blood of Jesus being shed as the means to be saved and the only REASON that God will ever accept you on the day you are saved, or any day after. God will never accept you, because you confess sin. He will only accept you because the Blood Atonement has been applied to you., and you do not confess sin to get this, or to keep it. Its a GIFT, and has nothing to do with confessing, or not confessing...sin. So what you are believing is not salvation. Its not Grace. And it has nothing to do with being born again, or "staying saved". You do not confess your sin so that God will keep you saved, any more then you confess your sin to become born again. You confess your sin, if you feel you need to do it, because you have a guilty conscience that is interfering with your fellowship, with your "feelings" that you have, when you think about God and Christ. We do not save ourselves or keep ourselves saved, by confessing SIN. But rather we become born again and remain eternally born again for the very same reason, and that reason is because we trusted Christ as our Savior, and God then accepted our faith TO SAVE US.......and this is based not on "confessing sin", but its only based on the Blood of Jesus being applied to us, once and forever.

  37. I can vouch for the truth of this. It may not be the exact same circumstances but in my own life I've experienced God's freeing Power from mental illness despite being told by medical professionals that the answer was in medication. The world can only attempt to treat and cure and stabilise us and the troubles inside ourselves with the worlds mean - medication, breathing techniques, minfulness, etc. But we serve a God who is not conformed to this world. Of course God created doctors and medicine for us to use for our physical ailments. But when I read the Gospels I see that every case of insanity or what we would call mental illness etc, was demon possession or demon oppression, and Jesus and the disciples dealt with it by addressing the root cause - demon powers. I therefore truly believe that the majority of mental illness in the world today is a result of either demonic possession or demonic oppression (as children of God we cannot be possessed, but we can be demonically oppressed from the outside). I have found freedom from deep depression through filling my mind with the word of God, proclaiming His word, and verbally binding the enemy in Jesus' name. Not only that, but 10 years ago I experienced a trauma in my life, and from that day forward I was plagued by a spirit of fear which manifest in certain situations. I was told by the professionals that this is normal when you experience trauma, and that while I could try to manage it with breathing techniques and the likes, I would just have to learn to live with it. But do you know what? Four long years later I surrendered my life to Jesus and soon after He delivered me from that spirit of fear in one MOMENT! This was an immediate deliverance for me, and of course not everything will happen immediately. We must learn to use the authority God has given us through Jesus Christ to combat the spirit of fear and anxiety which are NOT from God but from Satan, and to use His very word to renew our minds and conform them to God's truth, and refuse to allow the devil to make us feel like there is no way out of our present circumstances. We must fight the fight of faith in all areas of our lives, depression and anxiety included. I want to encourage anyone here experiencing what the world calls mental illness that you do indeed have a sound mind in Christ and it's devil who wants you to believe otherwise and we must combat that liar with the Word of God and apply His word to our lives and we will see freedom, praise the Lord.

  38. I do pray for the individual that wrote on that message board dating service. May he or she come to a much more mature understanding of the word of God. May God bless her or him with understanding, before he or she spends time trying desperately to out reproduce other "races" for some errant sense of obedience to God. May they come to read pray and hear the Holy Spirit's guidance for them regarding Paul's inspired encouragement and guidance to the young nearing age of interest in such matters.

  39. Where does Jesus get political with the Pharisees? One thing to note: There wasn't such a thing as politics back in the Israelite times. There were no opposing parties to fight against. It was either you were an isrealite apart of a tribe, or you weren't part of Israel at all. When Jesus came to the scene the Jews were occupied by Rome, so there was a politics there in that sense, but Jesus never spoke up about it. He only answered one question because He was asked to; not because HE went out preaching to the romans. Even when Jesus had a chance to "preach" to the romans, he plainly told Him that His Kingdom is not of this world. This let pilate know that he has nothing to worry about with regards to his earthly kingdom of rome. In peace

  40. I am not to convinced that only the church in Jerusalem did this, since this is the same pattern that Jesus set up for His followers (Luke 14:33) (Luke 8:1). I don't think we need to save or store things in order for us to survive. Jesus actually gives a parable telling people NOT to do this, and He says if we "seek first the Kingdom of God and all His Righteousness, then all the basic necessities in life will be provided for". In this same passage Jesus says that we shouldn't store any treasures on Earth, rather we should store our treasures in heaven. If we have faith in God, then He will provide for us, AS long as we seek His Kingdom FIRST. The issue with what is happening with communism is how they aren't motivated by love, un-like Jesus and the first century Christians were. People today are motivated by greed, so no matter the political view, these same issues will arise until we weed out the 'root of ALL evil..." Money. In peace

  41. I'm afraid this isn't going to be very well accepted, but please consider this in prayer and the Word. Just to let you know we are on the same page, I've been crazy, not the political correct "mentally ill, but totally crazy, couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time, when out in public I imagined I saw people trying to kill me, talking to myself 24/7, couldn't sleep, didn't bathe, didn't eat, my mind spinning at 100 trillion miles per second, ...diagnosed schizophrenic, paranoid, depressive. County Mental Health was going to lock me up, they considered me to be a danger to myself and others, but God...., now I know it was God intervening in my life before I was even born again, ...for some strange reason they made me an out patient on the condition I took their drugs, the very first time I took their drugs I started to get high, the time-space dimension shifted, the door was open and I was looking through into another dimension, the dimension where the demons live, ...just like when I took LSD, that was the first and the last time I took them! A friend gave me his Bible with the Words of Jesus in red, I found when reading His Words a peace settled over me, my mind stopped spinning and I could sleep, it took 18 months to become sane, sane enough for Mental Health to release me, ...Father also brought a born again brother into my life, who became my best friend, he always had Scriptures for me when I was down, or slipping back, he was always there for me, always encouraging me to read the Word, to memorize verses, to encourage me and most important, to accept me just as I was, ...totally crazy! That was 37 years ago, may I humbly and in the Love of Christ tell you what the Holy Spirit has taught me? Any and all drugs that causes us to be in an altered state of consciousness, is forbidden for born again children of God, in the New Testament the word for witchcraft is pharmakeia and it means to take drugs, not aspirin or anti-biotics or medicines like that, but rather drugs that mess with our minds, mind altering drugs that can open doors into other dimensions that God didn't give to man to experience. Also, Paul tells us we have been given a sound mind: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7 and that coupled with: For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, Rom 8:29 And (we) have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him: Col 3:10 Jesus was never mentally ill, not in Eternity past, not for the 32 years He walked this Earth and not now as a Man sitting at the right hand of the Father, ...Father knew us from before the foundation of this Earth, He knew exactly what would be happening in your life today, ...you have been predestined from before the world was to be conformed into the image of Jesus, ...yes, we all are different, no one is alike, we all have our pah to walk with our Lord, but..., we all have be predestined, while we are here, to be conformed into the image of out Lord, Jesus Christ! I've given to you the verses my best friend gave me when I needed them, times when I was slipping back, times when I felt like I was coming on or having a flashback, times when I felt like it was just too hard to go on, it works, may I suggest you memorize these verses and speak them out loud if you are alone or in you heart if not, when you feel like you're slipping back, or it's too hard or anxious, ...these are more than just words in a book, they are reality, ...reality to those that are born again children of God, ...I tend to remind Father in my prayers of what He has promised me, like, "Father You said I have a sound mind," or Father, "You're conforming me into the image of Your Son Jesus Christ." Dear one, we are in a spiritual war and the battle is being fought in our minds, the enemy of our souls will use our flesh against us, actually we are are own worst enemy, those feeling you feel, that is just your flesh, the old carnal nature talking, energized by the devil, we resist the devil with Scripture and the enemy will flee, just like he did when Jesus quoted Scripture to him, ...remember, the just live by faith, in faith use the promises Father has written in His Word. One last thing, find a church that teaches the Word of God and not here particular doctrine, and fellowship there, ask for help, there will be someone there Father has already prepared to befriend you, ...you are not alone, you are an important member of the Body of Christ and there is a local body that needs your gift and talents. Lord bless

  42. . Sin has consequences. For inherited Adam's Original Sin, the consequence is eternal spiritual separation from God or being bound for hell when one dies.(GENESIS.2:17 & 3:14-19, ROMANS.5:12) The sacrifice of Jesus Christ atoned for this inherited and unintentional sin = believers are saved from hell. For willful or intentional sins/evil-works/Law-breaking, the consequences are being cursed/judged/punished by God, eg with calamities, terrors, sickness, loss, depression, etc.(DEUT.28:15, 1COR.11:30 & 5:5, 1JOHN.5:16-17, ROMANS.2:5-10) But God/Jesus has the authority and discretion to remove such curses, eg healing and exorcism, King David and Paul were spared their immediate lives for committing murder. Normally, God just allow the law to run its course, eg convicted murderers are executed, convicted robbers/rapists are jailed and traffic offenders are fined. The above 2 sins should be looked at differently, eg even though the convicted Jewish robber who was crucified next to Jesus at LUKE.23:43 had to suffer and die young for his sin of robbery, he was still saved from hell through his repentance and belief in Jesus Christ.

  43. Hi Michael, How blessed we are to be able to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. By His Holy Spirit revealing more and more of our precious Lord and Saviour. I would like to write another prayer of honouring our Lord for His tender mercy towards us. `Mighty God, You saw our great need, lost in darkness and sin, no hope at all, and in your great mercy you reached down to the lowest and made a way to lift us up to you. Such mercy is staggering, truly amazing and astounds the heart. Out of your abundant heart of love you gave of your only Son who paid the price for our redemption. Such love, such mercy upon the unlovely, and unworthy. Truly your wondrous tender mercy to us is heaven`s music to our ears. Even the angels were amazed, at your compassionate mercy that would stoop and bend to reach the sinner lost. May we this year have your heart to reach out to the lost with your tender mercy. In Jesus` name.`

  44. Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, I will do a podcast about God. It will be called "Creator of Mankind". I'm also going to share my knowledge and experience of God in and out of the bible. I'm going to have guests from all walks of faith. I'm also willing to listen on those who goes against our faith in God. I would love to know your comments. Here are my 10 episodes: 1.) Anything is Possible With God No matter what the difficulty, we make room for God through prayer with our plans, goals, and work. We search on the faith that moves mountains. We scoop on the faith that made Peter walk on water with Christ. Listen and apply the practices that made it all possible. 2.) God is Our Loving Father in Heaven State the truth of who God really is. Why does He love us unconditionally and why is He a strict Father? Why do we need to fear Him and love Him? God blesses us and provides for us in many ways. May the peace of God be with us always. 3.) Jesus Son of God Saves Us From Our Hopeless Situation O man what have other men done to you? Why do you stare there from afar on nothing? God does not abandon you. It is Jesus our Savior that you need. Where is your faith O man? Seek him who offered his blood for you that you may be clean again in Heaven’s eyes. No matter how hopeless our situation is we need to put our trust in Jesus first. 4.) Why Didn't God Answer My Prayers? Grumble, mumble, and fumble until you stumble, tumble, and crumble. But let me ask you. Who are you to God anyway? Why are you ordering Him to make your wish come true? Are you better than God? Let us know the true purpose of prayer and how to pray properly. 5.) My God Why Did You Abandon Me? You just don’t know or see. Every righteous person has felt this sometimes. But we are not alone. God is really always with us. Call on to Jesus. Ask for help. Jesus took this upon Himself to carry the burden of His Church and fulfill the ancient prophecies. Let me help you understand and uplift you to praise God. 6.) If There Is A God, Why Is There Evil? Let us return to the core of what is evil and how it all started. We have a fuss of evil this or evil that. But what really is evil? Know this, if God doesn’t exist there is no evil. There is not even a human being. You seeker of knowledge, empty your cup. Let me fill it up for you with a fascinating story. 7.) Why is There So Much Suffering? Suffering is the result of our sins. God introduced the process of suffering to change ourselves for the better. So embrace it as you would carry your cross. Although we suffer in this world, death is not the end of everything. God Himself will provide relief for your soul. 8.) If There Is A God, Why Do I Feel So Depressed? Express your sadness through prayer. But always love and revere the Lord. It is unhealthy for a servant of God to be so depressed all the time. Let me teach you how to control your thoughts naturally. And you never have to become sad again without tragic events. 9.) Is God A Delusion? For me, God is real of course. Philosophy dictates He is the cause of all things. Logic follows the course of cause and effect. There is also the laws of the physical nature, order, and limitations. All of these were set by the Creator. Hop in and I will also bombard you with miracles and experiences. 10.) Where is God? God is spirit and you can’t see Him. So far we studied three persons of God (Trinity). God the Father is said to be in Heaven (which is above). God the Son is Christ Jesus who is in our hearts or in Heaven. God the Holy Spirit is also within us or around us. Listen for more information. Your input is greatly appreciated. May God's blessings be with you all, Vevencio Jr

  46. I’ve always had a heart of the why of things... and because I was born in such a awesome world it became easy for me to see what was required for such a place to exist- cause and effect Romans 1:20 (KJV) [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: It fits perfectly with what is written... so much so I could not deny the evidence, overwhelming, pin pointed so that in my heart I have no doubt of being before Him the moment I die.... with acceptance because of His life and it’s fruit in my own...

  47. In the old testament the sin of homosexuality was punished by death. Lev 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. So in effect this was not a sin that was prevalent in Israel. However in the Roman world it was rampant and had to be dealt with. That is why Romans 1 gets to the heart of the matter. Rom 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, Rom 1:25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Rom 1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; Rom 1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, Rom 1:30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Rom 1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; Rom 1:32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

  48. Its not sin to abstain from meats or to eat meats . Paul was talking about foods , which is not a sin at all to eat or not eat . Homosexuality IS SIN . And the next time the liberals quoate that it is love to ya , quaote what love is not , it does not rejoice in inquity , it does not behave itself UNSEEMNGLY . then go to romans one and show them , where it specifically says man with man , working that which is UNSEEMNGLY . IT aint love and it has nothing to do with romans fourteen .
