  2. Every woman is a treasure to be cherished and protected. Stand to acknowledge a woman as such when one enters a room. Do the curtesy of opening doors for a woman, be a gentleman, and never ever put a woman down. It is unbecoming of a man to do so.

  4. Shalom everyone, Since I've been asked, I'll post up a quick reference guide to what the different functions of ministry are. We instituted a checks and balances sort of system at Worthy, so that no one person or persons have complete authority. Worthy Steward -- That's me -- and why do I call myself a Steward. It's merely because I'm a steward of the Lord's ministry. It's not "my" ministry -- and not "my" work. It's the Lord's work! Worthy Servants -- Those are Forum Moderators, who check reported posts, send PM's to keep the peace so to speak, and try to keep this "experiment " running smoothly! Worthy Chat Moderators -- Those are Chat Moderators, who keep Worthy Chat clean, and help "steer" chat. Worthy Watchman -- These are a group of "oversight" individuals, whose role is NOT to "moderate" but a means of checks and balances to the different moderators. When things come up -- they are responsible to review Reported Posts, Moderator actions / inactions, and even comment as to "why" things were handled the way they were. So in essence, the moderation team is a group of individuals who "volunteer" their time, and often get criticized no matter what they do! Either they are moderating too heavily, not moderating too much, why is this "false" doctrine allowed to be discussed, etc. are some of the common complaints I've heard over the 15+ years we've run Worthy! It really doesn't change over the years -- just the members. Many people don't realize how much turnover there is on forum boards! I'm not sure how many different moderating teams we've gone through -- but it's significant! Past Moderation Style We've always like to keep a clean board. and in the past we removed, hid, and deleted harmful posts. However, when we do so, many people NEVER see how much moderating is being done behind the scenes! How many posts are "cleaned up"? The moderators have a few options at this point. First, we'll send a Private Message, trying to "steer" people to what is and what is not acceptable. If this doesn't work, then we will place individuals on "Moderator Review" for a certain period of time. At this point, most of those individuals placed on Moderator Review never come back. What most people do not realize is that "Moderator Review" is the last thing we really want to do as moderators -- because it increases our workload! So what is changed? Changes in Moderation We are simply not "cleaning" up the board any longer. If someone personally attacks someone, then we will simply leave the attack on the board -- EDIT the post -- leaving it intact, but commenting on the post that we as the moderating team do not feel this is appropriate, and the steps we've taken to fix the problem. We'll send a Private Message to the offender, issue a Moderation point, and ban the person from the thread -- ONLY FROM THE THREAD -- not from the forums! Just the thread itself! How I believe this will help in the long run? 1st -- People will actually begin to see how much "moderating" is being done "openly"! 2nd -- By having posts NEVER hidden -- it'll be easy to refer to "past" infractions as a means of "instructing, and correcting". 3rd -- Hopefully people will change their posting styles! People always try to "win a debate"! In doing so, they forget that sometimes you win -- by laying down the fight for ANOTHER time! Usually in the "heat of battle" a nasty thing appears -- PRIDE! Do you not know that "pride is the source of all contentions!" (Proverbs 13:10a KJV Only by pride cometh contention) If you're truly wanting to change someone's mind -- you have to be CAREFUL not to offend. Why? As Proverbs 18:19 says, "A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle." Remember the instruction that Paul gave to Timothy written in 2 Timothy 2:23-26, Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. The hardest part of this passage is being "kind to everyone" and "patiently enduring evil!" If the first reaction is to trade insult for insult -- then you're failing at being an instructor of the Word! Notice how it concludes -- that God opens their hearts to the TRUTH -- it's not us -- it's the work of God! However, we can do a pretty good job of "hindering" someone coming to the knowledge of the truth by purposely "offending" them! Forgetting by offending them -- you're actually HINDERING the means by which someone comes to the truth. If you have any thoughts, any questions, we're all about transparency -- so ask away! Your brother in the Lord with much agape love, George

  5. Hi all, We have in Australia a large number of Catholic priests ( and other ministers of faith ) including cardinal Pell convicted or charged with child sexual abuse. Any of these people can repent and ask God for forgiveness and they will be saved and go to heaven but any of the victims who probably have become negative about Christianity and have dropped their faith are destined to Hell. How can this be fair and right.

  6. If you read John 5:1-3, you will find that the Jews went to Jerusalem to celebrate their feast. But verse 3 says that at the pool of Bethesda, lay a great multitudes of sick people. The bible did not say few people, but great multitudes. This is a picture of the present church that the Lord showed me, and i weep over it.Many needs of people are not met in church, and the church is celebrating Jesus. Nothing wrong with celebrating Jesus. But isn't the church called to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils. freely ye have received, freely give (matt 10:8). Judging by so many new hospitals built in Singapore, i doubt the church of Singapore has met their needs. Lets intercede and rise up to fulfill matt 10:8

  8. My daily prayer when I wake up in the morning is, "Lord I ask for and receive Grace for today". We need God's grace to handle everything that we come in contact with including people that disappoint us or hurt us. In my opinion it's the only way to deal with everything we have to deal with in the course of a day. Don't give up Steve there's lots of other people like you!

  10. Saved.One.by.Grace You are welcome. It looks like the book is written mostly for the last generations to understand, although some parts are very difficult. I love these verses; 2 Esdras Chapter 2 34 And therefore I say unto you, O ye heathen, that hear and understand, look for your Shepherd, he shall give you everlasting rest; for he is nigh at hand, that shall come in the end of the world. 35 Be ready to the reward of the kingdom, for the everlasting light shall shine upon you for evermore. 36 Flee the shadow of this world, receive the joyfulness of your glory: I testify my Saviour openly. 37 O receive the gift that is given you, and be glad, giving thanks unto him that hath led you to the heavenly kingdom. 38 Arise up and stand, behold the number of those that be sealed in the feast of the Lord; (144,000, Rev 7:4) 39 Which are departed from the shadow of the world (have come out of Babylon), and have received glorious garments of the Lord (White robes given) 40 Take thy number, O Sion, and shut up those of thine that are clothed in white, which have fulfilled the law of the Lord. (will be the Firstfruits who followed the Lamb....only 144,000 sealed, no more in this group) 41 The number of thy children, whom thou longedst for, (144,000 plus the rest) is fulfilled: beseech the power of the Lord, that thy people, which have been called from the beginning, may be hallowed. 42 I Esdras saw upon the mount Sion a great people, whom I could not number, and they all praised the Lord with songs. (The multitudes, Rev 7:9) 43 And in the midst of them there was a young man of a high stature, taller than all the rest, and upon every one of their heads he set crowns, and was more exalted; which I marvelled at greatly. 44 So I asked the angel, and said, Sir, what are these? 45 He answered and said unto me, These be they that have put off the mortal clothing (sin), and put on the immortal (everlasting righteousness), and have confessed the name of God: now are they crowned, and receive palms. (Resurrection of the saints) 46 Then said I unto the angel, What young person is it that crowneth them, and giveth them palms in their hands? 47 So he answered and said unto me, It is the Son of God, whom they have confessed in the world. Then began I greatly to commend them that stood so stiffly for the name of the Lord. 48 Then the angel said unto me, Go thy way, and tell my people what manner of things, and how great wonders of the Lord thy God, thou hast seen.

Matthew 22:12 ‭And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.‭ Matthew 22:13 ‭Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast ‭him‭ into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.‭

  15. I also like good true war movies ...maybe worth seeing at the local drive in where we can take out the deck chairs and the picnic hampers. Who here saw "Hacksaw Ridge" and what did you think of it? At first I thought it overstated...exagerrated...but after reading Doss's biography and listening to interviews, realized that Mel Gibson left out some details to make the story believable! In other words, it was understated. A great Hollywood depiction I thought.

  16. I fully agree with you. That kind of language just build walls as it's personal attack, never a good thing. I did go check out some of his posts in other discussions and I see what you are saying. I know this isn't the tread for this but I just can't help myself. I taught this several years ago in the Christian church: 2 Cor 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. This refutes the 'tithe' as the tithe is 'of necessity' not a free will offering. The church leadership told me I could not say this to others. Isn't that a pip? This is typical of the Christian church for decades now when it comes doctrine. Hypocrites and snakes is what Jesus called the religious leadership. I don't see it as much different today. This is just one example of many in all sizes of congregations. It's no wonder fixerupper doesn't trust, I don't either. He's defending the fundamental Word and his passion is getting the best of him. Lamentable because its a setback for him. Laudable because he's hot for Jesus and the truth.

  17. Sojo!!! You commented on my post before I got to know you in chat, that made me smile! I hope you're having a good day, and I've enjoyed getting to know you and the others there! Man, you people comment fast, and I can't keep up with responses to this chat! lol I do fellowship with people, and I love them. I do think relationships within the church can often be surface (How's the weather? How are you?, etc.,) and not move to the deeper level which I desire, authenticity. But sometimes I have observed flat out nastiness and the opposite of love. It's not even always directed at me, but other people that become deeply wounded, some even get out of church. Not trying to be mean/judge anyone, but just a truthful observation. I will provide examples in a later post responding to someone elses comments. Actually the increased violence, wickedness, and lack of love shows me that we are growing closer to the End Times. Although those things don't make me happy, it does make me cry, "Come Lord Jesus, Come!" I love your neon sign/blinking lights idea, you should take that up with God as it would be most helpful! I'm not really aggressive with people. I love people! I just was being vulnerable and sharing my heart. Gentle believers are great, but I don't even mind the bold ones cause God made us all different. I just desire to see more authentic love in the body. It can be lonely, but God always provides! Thanks for listening, caring, praying, and responding! I appreciate you!

  18. You got that right Mike! I agree, the distance thing doesn't work, I just meant it sounded nice! I do love people, even the unlovable ones. Sometimes I'm actually drawn to them because sometimes that's because they're hurting, and they need love the most! Giving love actually comes easier for me than some. My real name means love. That's why I think it's so hard for me to see love lacking where it should be the greatest, withing the church, true believers! I'm not saying that all Christians are unloving, I've been blessed to know many that are full of love! None of us have arrived, and we all can grow even more in love. This is not meant to be a criticism, more of an observation and reflection. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  19. Christmas cards, Jesus talk to be discouraged in ‘inclusive’ Qld schools. Australia. CHRISTMAS cards and Jesus talk may be quashed in Queensland school yards after a review into religious instruction by the state’s education department. The Australianhas today revealed that the move to discourage Christianity references in the state’s school yards comes as part of a bid to crack down on “junior evangelists” who may be imposing their beliefs on non-Christians. The publication reported that the recent directive from the Queensland Department of Education and Training came after a review into the GodSpace religious instruction materials and is designed to promote inclusivity in schools. “While not explicitly prohibited by the (legislation), nor referenced in the Religious Instruction (RI) policy, the department expects schools to take appropriate action if aware that students participating in RI are evangelising to students who do not,” The Australian reported the department’s report said. “This could adversely affect the school’s ability to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.” A statement from Education Queensland when the report into GodSpace was released earlier this year said: “Queensland state schools embrace a multitude of cultural, religious and non-religious beliefs and encourage students to grow and develop as a whole person, in particular, in beliefs, values and attitudes. State schools respect the background and beliefs of all students and staff by not promoting, or being perceived as promoting, any particular set of beliefs in preference to another.” According to The Australian, the Education Department defines “evangelising” as “preaching or advocating a cause or religion with the object of making converts to Christianity”. Examples cited include giving Christianity-themed Christmas cards and Christmas tree decorations and making beaded bracelets to give to friends “as a way of sharing the good news about Jesus”. The department launched the review into religious instruction materials in the state’s schools last year, after one school found another popular program, Connect, taught children “every single person has sinned and rejected God and deserves to be punished”. The program was accused of “soliciting” students who did not have a faith and one Brisbane principal suspended it in his school. However, an the report into that program found, “Connect materials are, in the main, aligned with legislation and departmental policy, procedures and frameworks”. http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/parenting/school-life/christmas-cards-jesus-talk-to-be-discouraged-in-inclusive-qld-schools/news-story/e81577470395d34e583d7b4817020769

  20. *just wanted to share my verse for today to encourage By Phil Ware "I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." —John 17:26 Thoughts on Today's Verse... Jesus reveals God to us. One of the reasons he does this is so that we can know who God is and what is important to him. Clearly, the most important thing on Jesus' heart in this prayer is that we share his love for us with each other. In this way, Jesus comes to life in us. My Prayer... Almighty God and loving Father, please fill me with your love for my brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to honor you in the way I treat them and share the love of Christ in the way I interact with them. Please bless me as I seek to be a more gracious child of your love. In Jesus' name. Amen

  21. The references to Isaiah 26, Psalm 27, Zephaniah 2, and Jeremiah 30 all speak to the nation of Israel, and not the church. They also are all addressing what is happening on earth, not things that will take place in heaven, so none of these in any way speak to a rapture. What they speak to is the same thing one finds in Revelation 12 regarding Israel during the 3 1/2 year period of the great tribulation. Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. 15 The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood. 16 But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth. Zechariah prophesied about 2/3 of Israel that will be cut off and die, and 1/3 that will be brought through the fire, this would be the righteous mentioned in all of the passages you referenced. None of this has anything to do with Gentiles, these prophecies were all in regards to Israel. God bless

  22. Don't think we will ever agree,so I'll just leave this for now I Thessalonians 4:13-18 The subject is where are the dead. V13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. asleep in Greek means to decease, to be dead. This is talking about people that are already dead not people that are living on earth now. The second our flesh body dies our soul goes back to God. Ecclesiastes 12:7 V7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. We can take comfort knowing that our loved ones who have passed on are with God our Father and not lying in a hole in the ground. The flesh body stays in the ground but our soul goes back to God. The people that have no hope are those that do not believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. V14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. This is talking about people that have passed on that believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. V15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. Prevent means to precede before hand, to have arrived at already. We are still talking about where the dead are the subject has not changed. This verse tells us that people that have died are already with Jesus. The people alive when Jesus returns will not be with Jesus before the people that have already passed away because they are already there. V16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: This tells us when Jesus will return and not before. This is not the rapture. The rapture is a lie and can not be found in God's word. This is talking about the second coming of Jesus at the end of the tribulation. Jesus will come at the seventh trump and not before the seventh trump for anyone. Those that have died already rise first because they are already with Jesus. The second we die we go back to God our Father. V17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This happens after the tribulation when Jesus returns as Lord of lords and King of kings. This is not talking about a rapture, their is no rapture. Clouds is symbolic for a mass of people. Hebrews 12:1 V1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, When Jesus returns at the seventh trump the people alive on earth at that time will be changed into their spiritual bodies in the twinkling of an eye. I Corinthians 15:52-53 V52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. V53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. The rapture is a lie from Satan trying to trick God's children into believing in a easy way out. Always remember as long as we are still in our flesh bodies the true Christ has not returned yet. Satan will come back to this earth with supernatural powers saying he is Christ here to rapture you away but it is a lie. V18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. We can comfort our loved ones and friends when they lose some one they love because we can tell them where their loved ones are when they pass away. The moment some one dies they go back to God our Father. You may be surprised to know that God's word does say something about people teaching you to fly away to try to save your soul. What does God's word say about this, lets go to Ezekiel 13 to find out. Ezekiel 13:16-23 V16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD Their will be no true peace until Jesus returns to this earth after the antichrist has been here and not before, for anyone. Some people believe in the false peace of the rapture and it is just that a false peace. The prophets talked about here are false prophets not teaching the true word of God. People telling you that you don't have to read the book of Revelation because you'll be gone. They are lying to you, their is no rapture and God is against people that tell you their is. V17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, This is telling people who know the truth to tell the truth to God's other children. The ones that prophesy out of their own heart are ones that go on teaching the lie that their is a rapture when God Himself said that it's not true. V18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? The pillows and kerchiefs these false prophets use to cover the outstretched arms of Jesus by teaching the lie of the rapture. The people that teach others the rapture are leading them right to the arms of the antichrist. Nowhere in the word of God does it say that Jesus will come for anybody before the great tribulation. God asked if these false prophets will save these people that they lie to by teaching them the rapture. When in fact these false prophets are leading these people straight to death, the antichrist. Only Jesus Christ can save somebody. V19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? Some people are lying to God's children just for money. They are slaying souls by teaching people the rapture which will lead them right into the arms of the antichrist when he comes to earth claiming to be Jesus Christ. V20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. God Himself is against the teaching of a quick escape to save your soul. God is saying that their is no rapture. The true Jesus Christ is not coming back for anyone until after the antichrist has already been on earth, God said so. God is against people that teach lies to His children about the rapture. It covers the outstretched arms of the true Jesus by leading His children right into the arms of the antichrist. V21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. God will save His people from the lie of the rapture by giving the truth in His word. Read the word on your own and ask God to give you understanding in His word so you can see the truth about the rapture. V22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: The righteous is Jesus Christ, we all fall short to His righteousness. God is telling us by people teaching the lie of the rapture Jesus becomes sad. Sad because they are being deceived and lead strait to the antichrist. By teaching the rapture people strengthen the hand of Satan who is the antichrist. V23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. God will deliver His people by giving them the truth in His word. In II Thessalonians 2:1-12 it talks about the return of Jesus Christ. It tells us their are certain things that must happen before Jesus returns to this earth. II Thessalonians 2:1-12 V1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, Beseech means to ask or request a person to do something. This is telling us to pay attention because this tells us what must happen before Jesus returns. V2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. This is saying don't believe people when they say Jesus Christ can come at any time. Their are things that must happen before Jesus returns. V3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Don't let any one deceive you, read God's word with understanding. This verse tells us that Jesus will not return until the son of perdition be revealed. Perdition means to perish and die. Satan is the only one who has been sentenced to death by God so far. Ezekiel 28:11-19 V11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, V12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. V13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. V14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. V15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. V16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. V17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. V18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. V19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more. John 17:12 V12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: those that Thou gavest Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. II Thessalonians verse 3 tells us that Jesus will not come for anyone until Satan is revealed. Their is no rapture. Jesus will not come for anybody until that happens. Satan is the one that deceives the world and that can be read in Revelation 12:9 and 20:10 Revelation 12:9 V9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 20:10 V10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. V4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Satan is the antichrist and will return to this earth with supernatural powers able to have lighting fall from heaven. Many will be deceived and think that he is Jesus here to rapture them away. Satan will sit in the temple of God which is in Jerusalem. V6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. V7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. Satan will be cast out of heaven down to earth to play the roll of Jesus Christ. Satan will say that he is here to rapture you away but as always Satan is lying. Satan will be cast out of heaven by Michael in the last days. Revelation 12:7-9 V7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, V8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. V9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. This will happen before the true Jesus returns to this earth. The true Jesus will not come for any one until Satan is already here on earth. V8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: This is when Satan is on this earth saying he is Jesus here to rapture you away. Then the true Jesus returns to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords and Satan is bound for a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-3 V1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. V2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, V3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. V9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, Jesus returns after Satan has already been on earth claming to be Jesus saying he is here to rapture you away. Satan is the antichrist and he will come before the true Jesus Christ. V10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Many will be deceived by Satan because he is the king of deception. He will have supernatural powers and many will believe that he is Jesus because they did not receive the truth in God's word. We need to read the word of God on our own and ask Him to give us understanding in His word. Don't believe what anyone tells you read God's word for your self it's your life. V11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: V12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. People who don't read God's word with understanding and do not believe in the truth of His word will go on believing in lies. We are to study God's word. II Timothy 2:15 V15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Read God's word and ask Him to give you understanding in His word. The rapture is a total lie from Satan himself. Nowhere in God's word does it say that Jesus will come back for any one before Satan comes to earth as the antichrist. As long as we are still in our flesh bodies the true Jesus Christ has not returned yet. Just know, your very soul is at stake..........

  25. Save.One.by.Grace. This book contains tons and tons of prophecies that harmonise with the scriptures. Dragons of Arabia - Islam (that certain belief system) Isaiah saw this too. Not speaking of now, but after the Mark of the Beast is issued, and the angels sound, by the time we get to the 6th angel, the Kings of the East (Dragons of Arabia/Islamic nations) will stand up and attack Babylon. They are against the False Prophet's system, and the system of Babylon. This is the start of WW3 at the 6th trump/vial. Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Just like God used the Mede's to punish Babylon in the past, he will use them again. It is the Lord's revenge. They will destroy Babylon's hardware, ...her concrete land. They are cruel, fierce and very vengeful. They will attack all the strongholds of Babylon, all the posts, and the gates (throughout the whole land/world) and will come into Israel crossing over the Euphrates that has dried up. Isaiah 13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. Isaiah 13:2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. Isaiah 13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. Isaiah 13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. Isaiah 13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Isaiah 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Isaiah 13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: Isaiah 13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. Isaiah 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. Isaiah 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. Isaiah 13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. Isaiah 13:14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Isaiah 13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Isaiah 13:16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. Isaiah 13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. Isaiah 13:18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. Isaiah 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah (utterly destroyed) Isaiah 13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. (no one can dwell there, for Babylon is gone) Isaiah 13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. (the ruins of Babylon will become a wasteland, will grow into a forrest) Isaiah 13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

  26. It's science, so it could be used for good or bad things. The first article I read about this talked about fixing specific, known defects. If this helps a couple have a healthy, normal baby where they would otherwise not much of a chance of that, that sounds good. If it's used to make sure children have blue eyes or blonde hair, that will be an interesting market. When they start trying to use genetic engineering to add athletic abilities, height, or intelligence, that will really be interesting but I suspect that's many decades away.

  27. Satan is not a human and therefore not a female. Jesus points the difference out clearly in Matthew 22:30 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. As a celestial being (a guardian cherub according to Ezekiel) he is like an angel in the sense that he is sexless as is stated above. Here is his description and Ezekiel Chapter 28:12 “‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.[b] Your settings and mountings[c] were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. 14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. 16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. A similar story of Satan is found in Revelation 12. It makes reference to three periods in time. Creation, the Birth of Christ, and the great Tribulation. Of note is verse 4 that describes Satan as a dragon whose tail swept a third of the stars from the sky (these are his demons/evil spirits angels who sided with him). Vs 7-10 describe the event of Satan being cast out of heaven around the time of Creation. For Satan (the father of lies and deceit) had to be present when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of good and evil. This dragon appears again at the end during the final war against God. Rev 20:1-4 "And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time." 7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Satan is never described as a woman. Men and women can be either righteous or sinful and consequently can either hurt you and try to destroy you or support you in your journey to be with God.

  28. God created Lucifer as an angel. Lucifer is referred to as 'he' in the Bible. It is very short sighted to believe that satan is a woman simply because you encountered ONE woman who was evil. Satan can use anyone to further his dark agenda and that includes you and me if we are not on guard against him. Please read Scripture for yourself and don't degrade an entire gender because of one bad person.

  29. Lucifer was created by God as one of His angels. Because of his pride he was kicked out of heaven with 1/3 of the angels. Angels are always referenced in the bible as the male gender never female. Do not paint all women as evil because of a bad experience you have had.

  32. In the eyes of the world, it is not. In Gods eyes, it is. Let's did a little deeper in your question. Those who committed the sin were not following God in any way. I cannot say if they were saved or not, but that their action did not reflect His ways. To understand why they would be forgiven, you need to understand what true repentance is. True repentance is not just saying you are sorry like a reluctant child does when they are caught doing something wrong. True repentance comes with a full turning of the heart, mind and actions. Turning 100% from sin and seeking to do His will. When God sees the repentant heart, He accepts the repentance and forgives them. I believe if God sees just spoken words and no real repentance, He does not forgive as they really didn't mean it. Those who only speak the words and do not follow up in action remain in their sin. Those who were the victims, if they reject God due to an action of another person, they really did not know God in the first place and need to have a personal relationship with Him to fully understand. All they are doing is looking at the actions of a person and blaming God for what they did. They have no true understanding of free will and His will. Those who are the victims need to have others that are His true followers speak to them in love, explaining how some who claim to be followers of God may not be true followers, but wolves in sheep clothing. So many today claim to be His followers, but are not. They just claim the title without following His will for their lives. Hope this starts a conversation so you can better understand why God forgives some and not others. The short of it is, it is the heart of the person.

  33. It seems like unChristian, combative trolls have over run the chatter lately at a higher and higher rate. While its true that as Christians we must share the Gospel with the lost, when does it become redundant and a circular argument? WE MUST WITNESS TO THE TRUTH, but, when do we shake the dust off our sandals and move on? Last night, I was actually developing a headache and becoming stressed over the way things were going in the chat. We had an apparent troll that kept the chatter tied up for at least 2 hours (that I know of). Several people were attempting to witness to this guy and it was getting nowhere. He was still spewing his anti Christian bilge water. I finally got to the point where I typed out "Why don't you go back to the abyss LEGION?" To which he replied, "Since you're going to attack me Steve, I'm going to block you." I did not attack him, nor would I. I was rebuking the demonic spirit that has him in its grasp. Besides, the demon that holds him was tested and proven to be diabolical. This man said he didn't know the Bible, and I never mentioned his name, but the demon knew "LEGION', because he spoke up about blocking me. My point is, we need more prayer warriors for the gospel. People that are willing to say "Enough Satan!!" As a Christian, I could not stand by and allow the demonic hosts to drag the name of my Lord and Savior through the mud anymore. It isn't "unloving" to rebuke evil, I was actually thinking of this man's welfare. He needs Jesus.

  34. Blessings Steve.... I can certainly understand ,it took me many many years to really understand "Kicking the dust from my sandals" .....here,it can be quite difficult without seeing a persons face.,the absence of their voice, tone, facial expression, body language.....here we must trust & depend on the Discernment of Holy Spirit much more than in person....here we do not even really know who we are talking to,if they have another tab open & they are playing Candy Crush, watching pornography, drunk or just passing time and playing games with us as they sit with a bunch of unbelieving friends,....males may be females etc....I would imagine its even harder in "Chat",they come & they go,anyone can come in and do not even have to be a Believer or have any minimum number of posts......I don't mean it in a bad way but to me it sounds basically like social media networking going on(whenever I have visited) & I do not see Christ Centerdness.....so you just do not know what you are going to get in a live chat room where anyone is welcome to come in It moves much too fast for me,I do not type well enough to keep up Jesus said it plainly,if you are not Received(His Word).....move on to the next until you are well Received The harvest is plentiful Steve, why waste time or energy with anyone who does not want what you offer? There are so many truky hungry & thirsty souls out there with few laborers,I for one will not cast pearls before swine ....And that does not mean they are not worth it or that they are not going to Receive the Word of God eventually but plant your seeds & move on,perhaps someone else will come along & water them.it is not always our Assignment to make a Disciple but just to plant the seed(that particular person) Just recently I experienced something very difficult to comprehend and it only n confirmed what I've always believed"Believe half of what you see & none of what you hear"........we walk by FAith Steve & not by sight, the ones we really believe are sincere turn out to be insincere & the ones we don't even realize are "getting it" are truly Receiving Gods Word.....this is a public place & I keep being reminded over & over "Gods Word Will NOT return void" I was a bit disheartened & then quickly reminded by my Brother wing nut of Gods Word......so we are never "wasting" the Word of God on anyone here because someone else is likely Receiving what we thought was meant for someone else.......I hope this is making sense to you,I feel like I might be all over the place because of my personal issues right now, very similar...... The most important thing is your question "When is enough enough, when is it time to go?" We just draw NEARER to God in Christ, the same way we Receive the Words to speak by the Power of the Holy Spirit we must also learn how to hear His Still Small Voice that tells us.....Shhhhh I don't think it is edifying or a good way to relate to an unbeliever (online)by speaking to his demons....he is unaware, deaf, blind ,ignorant & likely to be insulted ,making him even more unreceptive I would say when they strike a nerve then it is your red flag to "Shhhh" & move on....that just my opinion There is a time & place for everything & in everything orchestrated by God there is order,Wisdom,Understanding,Peace,Love,Kindness,Compassion and if we are not bearing His Good Fruits then it is time to leave ....AS I said,I just experienced something that could have potentially been a real distraction because it caught be completely off guard,I spent countless hours ministering and it turned it it was a total sham.....actually there were quite a few "signs" along the way that I ignored, lies, deception but I stayed because I suppose I wanted to believe ......God is ALWAYS Guiding us,Leading,Directing,Revealing,we just aren't LISTENING all the time...... Praying for you Brother, keep your eyes on the Prize,Gods Word Will NEVER return void With Love-in Christ,Kwik

  35. Exactly, I agree, just as some hide behind the name Christian but commit self righteousness within the church. It is all wrong because the main focus should be God. However MAN falls short and we all are learning to be better. I understand and agree with your points. God should be respected by ALL. In church and out, but we know that is not the case. Each and every person has battles. It is easier to see others than to admit ones own. We all suffer from a bit of self-righteousness. Some a little more than others. We should know better when we become Christians, but we must also remember He does the TRUE teaching. We all learn different and at different times, different lessons. Hopefully when the time of Judgement comes, we are as He intends for us to be.

  36. See this is a problem. God takes sinners as they are and works his Glory in them. If sinners are of the world and the church is no place for the world, then it's no place for sinners and thus the church is pointless. Jesus said: Luke 5:32 32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Also for a church or church members to put strict guidelines on who can come to church or how a person should build a relationship with God or learn of God, they are actually putting stumbling blocks before another. Yet the "Christians"(ones we are speaking of in context) don't see how they are doing this. As you stated: WE ARE TO DO OUR PART. Salvation, judgement, condemnation are God's Part. Yet Christians want to constantly, drill into people they are not right, they are not accepted by Jesus unless they repent NOW and sin no more. Sorry only God can say this and do anything about it. Plus they act as if they aren't sinning themselves. (Rather hypocritical) OUR PART: Bring The Good News. That Jesus loves them, can and will forgive them if they are willing to believe and accept him. Jesus is for them just as he is for us. We can aid in their learning journey but The Holy Spirit will shape them as God ordains. GOD'S PART: Everything else. His timing, his grace, his forgiving, his salvation, his judgement, his condemnation if he sees fit. He does as He wants and He is not limited to our Bible nor our thoughts. Yet Christians want to SPEAK FOR HIM. Psst, God does not need MAN to speak for him. He is capable of making Himself known. Warrior12, maybe you just have not encountered The Christians I speak of. Or those the OP and others have spoken of, but they do exist. Unfortunately they are Christians or called Christians, because religiously and law wise they may be, but somewhere in there they lack the full measure of The Spirit.

  37. We also have to remind ourselves that God is in control and has always been. We have to do our part in being that candle on the lamp stand and it not being under the bed. We also have to look at the example of that great story of the Prodigal son. It is one that for some is not easy to digest, but nevertheless shows that people can change and come to hearing. If we loose our ability to forgive and show compassion, then we just joined the crowd. We seek to learn a little each day and that's why we are here.

I think you have to come to terms in casting snares on every christian as there are many many wonderful believers doing the Lord work out there helping and doing things that no one sees. I take each case as i see it, just as i meet new people in life. Sometimes ,we have to weed out the tares as it hinders. Complicated, but we have to work at it and see the bigger picture of the gospel teachings. You are a learned person fixerupper and i pray that those hard feelings would dissipate.

  39. Just because I professed Christ didn't mean I knew him. It only meant that I heard, believed and began to start following. Consider those who believed yet had not received the spirit yet. They needed the gospel of God preached to them to its fullness. We live in sorely troubled times. People are lovers of their own selves. I can be guilty if not careful. I go about my day seeking to do the will of God. I ask him to fill me with the spirit because Jesus said the Father gives the spirit to them that ask him. Then I seek to pour out his spirit upon the lost, sick and the dying. According to Paul these can be Christians. Those who take the Lords supper in an unworthy manner become sick or even die. I have watched God bring athiests to faith then begin his work of progressive sanctification in them. Truly amazing transformations. When I first was saved, I was a Romans 1 reprobate. Next, as a Christian, I became a Romans 2 self righteous man who despised the grace of God. I later transformed into the Romans 3 teacher of the word who touched not one of the very virtues I taught! By tge grace of God I was brought to a higher level of sanctification and have repented of those sinful ways. If I am looking at them and how their behaviors affect me then 'self' is alive and well. I need to pray that God will help me pick up my cross, die to myself and follow Jesus for even today sometimes I become 'alive' and sin revives then I become one of the walking dead hurt by everything that another does that affects my 'self'. Come Lord Jesus!

  40. Some times you just need rest. You need to replenish yourself. There is nothing wrong with that. Some times we are directed to Be Still. It's not running away or being a hermit. Some times its for our own protection. So we don't fall or stumble and get caught up in the chaos. We just have to learn a balance. Feeling not of this world I can relate, but as you said So he will protect that, by pulling you away, healing your heart, suiting you up, and reminding you that you are his and then he'll send you back out their, to do your part. TO DO YOUR PART. some times we want to do more. He just needs us to DO OUR PART. Trust that he has the rest. He is God. Oh and he will send you what you need when it is needed. You will recognize that true fellowship. It isn't necessarily a friend as MAN sees a friend, but it is a friend in that purpose of God.

  41. The problem is not how much they love me, but how much do I love them? God is teaching us to love and forgive, and to love as He does when we determine to love the unlovable and forgive the unforgivable. God started me in my Christian walk by showing me that I lacked God's love, 1 Cor. 13 type love, in my life. I also had pushed people away to avoid being hurt. And He was asking me to keep on loving even knowing that people would continue to hurt me and reject me. We are told that people will treat us like they treated Christ, so we should expect that--even in the church. We are all at different stages of Christian maturity, and we should be an example to the Christians who are less mature in this area. When we are hurt, it is the old man in us that is hurting. It is our pride, our selfishness and even some self righteousness if we think we are better than they are.. These things have to die so that the Spirit of Christ can be seen in me. No one said that the Christian life would be easy. Isa 53:3 WEB He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. Isa 53:4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. Isa 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he didn’t open his mouth. Isa 53:8 He was taken away by oppression and judgment; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people? Having said that, I have to agree that my father in law was much easier to love and forgive after he died. While alive, he would just do some hateful thing again that I would struggle to forgive so I could try to love him. But God was showing me my own arrogance and lack of love. He sent the most unloving person into my life to show me my own sin. I cannot love him. Only Jesus could love him while being rejected and hated by him. Thank You Jesus. What I can't do, Jesus can do through me when I allow Him to live in me.

  42. Matthew 7:14 (KJV) [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. In our present 'it's close enough society'... or 'good enough' we have reduce personal responsibilities to a minimum and expectations to a maximum. In this Christianity has also succumbed and the only correction is to walk outside of the worlds influence where The Holy Spirit can realign motives... The most important and continuous relationship we are to have is with The Father through The Son by the aid of The Holy Spirit. When this relationship is what it should be we are complete in Him and are not dependent upon others in anyway in said completion... thus I am now ready to be a friend to those who are messed up in their lives because they are not where I am! Galatians 2:20 (KJV) [20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. It cost our Lord ... it will also cost us. But The Lord warns us Hebrews 10:38 (KJV) [38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. To look upon the man who has the pleasure of The Lord in them is to see Jesus living His Life in them... Love, Steven
