    • Psa 119:128-136
      (128)  Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
      (129)  PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore does my soul keep them.
      (130)  The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
      (131)  I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for your commandments.
      (132)  Look you upon me, and be merciful unto me, as you usest to do unto those that love your name.
      (133)  Order my steps in your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
      (134)  Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep your precepts.
      (135)  Make your face to shine upon your servant; and teach me your statutes.
      (136)  Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not your law.
    • I don't think we need to follow any sort of ritual or prescribed way such as what the OP mentioned.  However, I believe simple, slow reading of a few Scriptures does help us in Biblical meditation.   Please note I am not talking about meditating on one word as cults would do.  But meditating on the whole Scripture verse which the Holy Spirit often then makes real to us.
    • In simple terms that Wicked who announces his "divinity", as many have done, will be revealed when the opportunity arises. In simple terms 2Th 2:7 reads "For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: it is only being restrained until he who is restraining gets taken out of the way." When the natural wickedness of man is at its full potential. 🕛
    • Shalom, gerhard eber. Of course I do! It's the only day that DOES make sense, based on the timing according to Hebrew timekeeping, that is, that the day cycle begins in the evening at sunset. It may not be in the Bible, but according to the People of the Book, they count that moment with the sighting of the first three stars. Watching the movement of the stars and planets in the night sky was an occupation that has been around for thousands of years, particularly among the children of Israel. In fact, it was the occupation that passed early to the children. They had the best eyesight, and it taught them patience and diligence. A simple blast on a shofar, when appropriate, was sounded to welcome the new day and signal its beginning. It was necessary for Yeshua`s body to be IN the grave BEFORE sunset, the start of the new day, the start of the high Shabbat, the start of Pesach or "Passover." That's why Yosef begged Pilate for Yeshua`s body, seeing that He had already died! Pilate was surprised to hear that Yeshua` had already died, and confirmed this with his messenger; then he granted Yosef that task.
    • No Jesus for Moses and the congregation?  "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." "By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ  greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:" If there is no Jesus, there is no salvation. From beginning to end it's always been Jesus. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." You will soon see. If you don't come to this greater knowledge there will be bitter tears when it all begins to end.
