  • I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support President Trump in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures to President Trump. Read our Petition!

    •   Hi TrevorL. Yes I believe as you said -  The events leading up to that cleansing are revealed in Ezekiel 38, Zechariah 14, Daniel 11:40-45 and many other prophecies.   So we have - 1. The daily sacrifice, 2. and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 3. then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Encompassing 2,300 days. (evenings and mornings)   1. Is the most holy day of Israel`s calendar. the Day of Atonement. ( 15th of Tishri in the first year of the tribulation) 2. A/D the middle of the tribulation. 3. Armageddon. (end of 7 years.  month of Shebat)   regards, Marilyn.
    •   Greetings Marilyn, The  immediate teaching of the Olivet prophecy is the Roman military overthrow of Judah, Jerusalem and the destruction of the Temple and then a long period of time where Jerusalem would be trodden down of the gentiles. As far as the military aspect, Jerusalem was cleared or cleansed of Gentile military power in 1967 when the Jews recaptured Jerusalem. The starting date BC333-334 was a military conquest of Judah and Jerusalem by Alexander the Great, and so the 2300 years coincides on the military side of things.   There are other layers in Daniel 8, where the picture is given of the sanctuary being cleansed in a religious sense, and some hint of the daily sacrifice, morning and evening. I believe that this still awaits the return of Jesus, and the events surrounding that return are revealed in other prophecies. For example Isaiah 2:1-4 represents the events after the sanctuary has been cleansed and Jesus is sitting on the Throne of David in Jerusalem. The events leading up to that cleansing are revealed in Ezekiel 38, Zechariah 14, Daniel 11:40-45 and many other prophecies.   The expression “the times of the Gentiles” could refer firstly to the 2300 days when the Gentiles, principally Grecians and Romans had military dominance over Jerusalem, but Jesus could also have used this term to describe the whole period of the Gentile Kingdoms, from Babylon overthrowing Jerusalem, to the final overthrow of the Kingdoms of men in the near future when He will replace them with the Kingdom of God.   Kind regards Trevor
    • Yes, it seems to be a work of the flesh and a lack of trusting the Lord... Psalm 75:5-6 KJV
[5] Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. [6] For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
    • I agree with the first part but the last clause seems like a bit of a nit pick. I suppose in the end your answer will depend on which schools of rabbis you ask. Seems to me that Rabbinic Judaism of the 1st century was roundly rebuked by that Rabbi from Galilee.
    • John 1 says that if we receive the Word as the Messiah, God in human flesh, that we are given the right to become children of God, born of the Father.  So salvation by God's grace through faith is the only way to be saved. Salvation is a gift and cannot be earned or it wouldn't be by grace.   When the Holy Spirit of Christ lives in us He will fulfill the requirements of Jesus as we walk in the Spirit.  The law is the schoolmaster that brings us to Christ and shows us our need of a Savior.  Our righteousness is by faith in the God Who is able to raise the dead.

      John 16:7-15
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.
