I agree, this world ends as His Day begins.  BUT, as it is written 'those who are ALIVE and REMAINING are 'changed' to be forever with the Lord' ...then NONE of those who took the mark of the beast could be amongst the alive and remaining, correct?  So, those who took the mark of the beast must die the first death before the alive are changed, correct? Moving forward, we also know from that chapter on what happens to those who 'sleep' before we do  16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Do you believe anyone with the mark of the beast could survive that shout, voice and trump of God??  I myself, do not, I don't think the heart of a man could take it.  But WHAT happens after that??   THE DEAD rise.  The DEAD in Christ rise.   No mention of those 'made alive in Christ'.  No mention of those who 'never die' but just THE DEAD.  We were once dead in Christ, dead in our sins and trespasses but having come to LIFE, no longer are, and never will be again, agreed?   13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, (AND WE DO!)  even so them also which sleep in Jesus (DIED AND ROSE) will God bring with Him.  proving NONE of the LIVING will be 'resurrected' at that time, having already risen and followed Him, gone to the place He went to prepare for us, not amongst the DEAD in Christ but with the God of the LIVING and NOT THE DEAD, so come with Him   My question is, aren't the DEAD in Christ who 'rise' at Christs return, the 'non-Christians', since the Christians are returning with Him?

I don't know how what you wrote applies to the 2nd Advent which is future, not past.  Christ didn't come as LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS with the angels and set up the Millennial kingdom at that time, what happened then was the fulfilment of what He said would happen to THAT generation, as it did.  I understand we are given examples of how things played out in the past for a reference on what to expect in the future, but back in Jerusalem in 70 AD, bad as it was, doesn't have anything to do with 'what must come to pass' given AFTER those events took place, I believe.    3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. This can not happen until the 70th week after the pre trib. rapture.   There is NO GLOBAL WARMING as per being man made. The Ice ages COME and GO long before man CAME. The events in Rev. 8 are evident, they are an Asteroid Impact. 1.) The First Trump is 1/3 of the trees burning. Well, what happens Well, what happens to a large incoming asteroid? It breaks apart in our atmosphere, most completely but a few are large enough to hit the earth like the one thar wiped out the dinosaurs. Sodom was burned up by Sulfur ball from an Asteroid breaking apart, they have found Sulfur Balls in the Dead Sea next to these cities which are still intact. They will burn until they burn up unless the hit water. Th 1/3 imho, shows a DESTENATIN PONT (The New World) 2.) The 2nd Trump is the IMPACT, John saw a Great Earthquake when it hit and remember, he said it was a Mountain (Rock) on Fire, and cast into the Sea. Being just off the coast would create a great shaking and tidal waves. So, an Asteroid on fire hits in the Pacific Ocean just off the California coast. But the fires COME FIRST. 3.) The Great IMPACT creates a great FALLOUT of poison, it would be like all the Nukes on earth going off at one time in one spot. And whatever Rock formation this is, it will have metals etc. and just like a Nuclear explosion, it was poison the 1/3  (New Worlds) Fresh Waters/Rivers.  4.) The Smoke from 1/3 of the worlds trees burning (that means houses and buildings will burn also) will get up in the sky, in the Jet Stream and start blotting out or Dimming the sun, moon and stars by 1/3. Thus Seal #6 is only forecasting what the Trumpet Judgments will bring when the Asteroid Judgment hits earth. So, in reality, you are going down a totally wrong path on this brother.
