• I Stand With Israel Petition

We want to send a strong, encouraging message to President-Elect Donald Trump concerning the importance of the nation of Israel in relation to God’s Word. Mr. Trump has already made strong statements supporting Jerusalem as Israel's capital and the nation's right to exist and defend herself. Let’s be sure to support our future President in his decision and encourage him to follow through on his affirmations concerning Jerusalem and the Promised Land. Our goal is to deliver a petition of 1,000,000 signatures before Mr. Trump takes office. Read our Petition!

    • Shalom, HAZARD. No, what it DOES say is that the Torah (the Pentateuch), first written in approximately 1,250 B.C.E., said that the Creation occurred at least 2,638 years prior to the Exodus. Add to that 2017 years less 1 year between B.C. and A.D, and one arrives at 5,904 years ago. But, we also have the "at least" part to consider. Yeshua` (Jesus) Himself said that God made them (Adam and his wife) "at the beginning" in Matthew 19:4. He also quoted Genesis 1:27 and Genesis 2:24 in the next two following verses. And, we also read (or at least, we SHOULD read), ... Exodus 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath (the Shabbat) of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day (the Shabbat), and hallowed it.
      KJV Exodus 31:12-18
12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day (the Shabbat), he shall surely be put to death.
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
KJV So, you may THINK that the Bible doesn't say it (but, it really DOES).
    • What you believe is between you and God. Your brain and your eyes have digested the truth. It is then your choice.
    • What I am is not mistaken, as I have shown scripturally.  But the truth conflicts with your beliefs, hence your objection. John 14:1-3 is often touted as a rapture proof. However careful study of that prophecy, firstly never mentions heaven and secondly is paralleled by Revelation 21:1-4, where the New Jerusalem comes down to earth and God dwells with mankind. The meaning I give to the prophesies is the simple understanding of the Word. In your opinion this isn't right and you want it to mean something else. Actually God has allowed Christians to be deceived. Some will listen to false teachers, 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and the wisdom of the wise is folly in God's sight. 1 Cor. 3:19  We see this happening all around, in the mega churches and on the internet.
    • I can't even remember the sin that was persistant, but I remember concluding that maybe God was allowing this to keep me from being self righteous.  So I know I am totally dependent on Christ's righteousness and death on the cross for my sins.  I am totally dependent on His grace because I will never be pleasing to God in my own nature or strength.  Rom 4:5  But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, Gal 5:16  I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal 5:17  For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Gal 5:18  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. So focus on God, not your faults and the things of the flesh.  Focus on the things of the Spirit and do the things God puts on your heart to serve Him by serving others.
    • I suggest that you read the Bible literally with good hermeneutics. Because you are giving the passages a wrong meaning. That will allow for false teaching and allow a fellow Christian to stumble and fall. God does not want that.
